MITZVA 400 That none of the tribe of Levi shall take any share of the spoil (at the conquest of the Promised Land) (Deut. 18:1) (negative).

Deuteronomy Chapter 18 דְּבָרִים

א  לֹא-יִהְיֶה לַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם כָּל-שֵׁבֶט לֵוִי, חֵלֶק וְנַחֲלָה–עִם-יִשְׂרָאֵל; אִשֵּׁי יְהוָה וְנַחֲלָתוֹ, יֹאכֵלוּן.

1 The priests the Levites, even all the tribe of Levi, shall have no portion nor inheritance with Israel; they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and His inheritance.
