3. S. (07:38) What is the degree called Adam that Baal HaSulam and Rabash explain to us about?

R. The degree of man means resembling the Creator. It is one that has a desire and a restriction on that desire and a reflected light on the desire, so instead of the will to receive he turns it in order  to bestow. By this he wants to become similar to the Creator, to bestow upon the Creator the same way the Creator bestows upon him and this way they bestow upon each other. He receives the degree of man, of being similar to the Creator.

S. It says here that we have gathered here to establish a society for all who wish to follow the path and method of Baal HaSulam. How can the friends and I express this desire?

R. By learning. I’m wanting to implement the method, wanting to implement the method. There are several other methods. Oh, there is the method of RAMAK, there is the method of the Vilna Gaon, the Agra, there are several other methods, but we are studying according to the method of Baal HaSulam. It is the closest method to the contemporary person, and I teach only this. Before that I studied a little bit of the RAMAK method and the Agra, the Vilna Gaon’s method and I saw that for a person, for an intelligent and educated contemporary person, these methods are not very suitable.

5. S. (10:37) Is there a connection between the personal, particular correction and receiving or not receiving the bread of shame?

R. Of course there’s a connection. Only after the restriction, the screen, and the reflected light, when we come to equivalence of form the shame becomes glory and honor and then we can become similar to the Creator and become a man, Adam.

6. S. (11:19) How can I build this relation in a way that on the one hand I feel I am the lowest and at the same time I feel pride from the work I do? How can I build this?

R. That is no problem at all. If I’m the smallest of the small I can overcome it with the help from the Creator that gives me power and strength and I become strong and I operate, I work. No problem.

7. S. (11:59) In the article he talks about how he gave Israel plenty of Torah and Mitzvot to cleanse them. When I think about a Mitzvah I think about it in a corporeal sense so I think there’s a restriction of what you can eat, and you cannot eat for example. How do I relate to Mitzvot in the spiritual sense, when is he really talking about when he says Mitzvot

R. I don’t know what you depict in the word Mitzvah, commandment. Anything that we can do in order to bestow it is called a Mitzvah, commandment. It comes from the word ‘command’ to command. The Creator commands us that all the desires that he created in us and he created in us 613 desires, actually 620 desires and we need to invert all those desires from the intention to receive, as they are initially after the breaking to the intention to bestow. Our work is to turn all of our 613 desires, to turn them from in order to receive to in order to bestow and we do it through the upper light, through the influence of the upper light which is called Torah. So, our correction that we do is called a correction in 613 lights, meaning Mitzvot, meaning 613 desires which we correct through 613 lights. This is called the 613 lights of the Torah. All those lights are called light, or Torah, Torah also comes from the word Ohr, light. 

8. S. (14:28) What is the difference between the concepts, light, Creator, and the desire to bestow?

R. What is the difference between light and Creator and desire to bestow, a big difference. The light is the light that comes from above and is the force of bestowal, the force of the filling, the force of the correction. It is the upper abundance which is generally called light and the will to receive is the material, our substance that we need to correct with the intention to bestow and then we get desires to receive with the intention to bestow. Later they connect together and into the big overall will to receive an overall light with the intention to bestow, that’s it.

9. S. (15:34) When we read is there a difference between the concepts of the light, the Creator, and the will to bestow?

R. Of course, there’s a difference. Those who engage in this understand the difference,  it is the difference between the subject and the operator and the operation.

10. S. (15:58) It is not always that our response to the bestowal of light is what we need to be. How can we change the bestowal of light upon us?

R. Through connection between us, if we do everything through connection then the light that dresses and operates on us, it will build us towards bestowal and then what happens since we will begin the work of connection and from connection we come to bestow upon the Creator.

11. S. (16:38)  He said in my power to open my heart and to bring the friends into this heart or I do I just need to pray for it to happen at the Creator does that?

R. Before you try to do it alone you cannot ask the Creator because you don’t have the deficiency. You have to try to do it on your own and then when you give up then you cry out to the Creator and the Creator helps you.

12. S. (17:15) What is the complete man in our society?

R. A complete man or a complete person is the one who invests himself, immerses himself in connection with other people and he makes sure that everyone is connected.

13. S. (17:50) It says therefore when a person performs one of God’s Mitzvot that he should aim it to bring him pure thoughts to bestow upon the Creator. What is the order by which I can examine if I have a desire to bestow upon the Creator while performing a Mitzvah, should we also examine this?

R  Of course during the Mitzvot, the commandment you should be with that intention. I don’t really understand what the question is from. 

S. Thank you.

14. S. (18:49) We are a moment before the meal.

R. It is not a moment, it is five minutes from now.

S. Yes, we have a meal now, so how should we take everything we understood, everything we felt or did not feel during the lesson? Can we continue with this line?

R. If we during the meal connect our thoughts and desires that we thought now in the two and a half hours of the learning, if we now try to connect all together, it would really be a spiritual meal where we will receive along with what they have prepared for us. Is it hummus right, pita bread? Good, so in short, this simple meal but along with it we will get great spiritual illumination that will sanctify us, will connect us so much that perhaps we will already begin to feel within us the upper force that’s coming to all of us which is the Creator’s. So, let’s think that in this common meal the Creator stands and wants to be revealed in us and it depends on how much our hearts are connected.

S. How can we incorporate? The whole world Kli can be incorporated in the same action, some are physical, some are virtual, so how can we make one heart in that?

R. There is no question that the world Kli is with us. I’m not even asking, I don’t talk about it because It is obvious we are talking all of us together, so some of us are sitting here in the meal, some are sitting at home, some are closer or greater distances, but we are all together, one heart, one heart. I really hope that although we have all kinds of adverse pandemics ahead of us, but I hope that at least once a week we will be able to meet and have a common meal.

S. We are very different from each other, some cause the physical to be more focused, some less. How can nonetheless collect all these differences between us so will it be directed properly?

R. I wouldn’t pressure people, I wouldn’t pressure friends, I will create such an atmosphere that it will draw everyone and then anyone who feels that it does appeal to him and helps him then he will come physically and those who feel that they are not drawn to it they will staying home, and we do not judge anyone, we just make room for people who want to be together and feel that they can be together. So, let them be together for those who can’t, cannot. I see here Kiev, Turkey, Africa, Bulgaria, Holland, Moscow, Latin, New York, Toronto, Belarus you will see who is here and there are more and more and more. So, you want all of us to be sitting together and that will be the end of correction, when we feel that we are truly sitting together in one assembly. S.
