Passover – Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (The Exodus From Egypt #192)

1.Rav’s Introduction:Yes, we’ve been through a very good preparatory stage. With the help of the Creator we approach the state of disconnecting from in order to receive. And we need to continue with it, we have an entire week ahead of us. Let’s try to put in the effort and  understand and feel more what it means to be disconnected from the self, from the “I” and be connected to “we.” That’s really the essence of the Exodus from Egypt, to go from me to we. To disconnect from the Pharaoh and cleave to the Creator. It’s written about the Creator that I dwell among my people. The Creator is among the people inside the group, inside the friends, whereas Pharaoh is in each and every one in his personal approach, his personal concern for himself alone.

So we need to try and be in such intentions, preparations, inclinations, thoughts, calculations of “we.” What does it mean we? That I’m inside of the others, I annul towards them. As much as they seem unlike me, distant, opposite, different, I try to annul myself towards them, dissolve in them and dilute myself in them. So it turns out that I disappear, my “I” disappears and what comes out is that the “I” becomes we. By that we are coming out of our ego, out of our Egypt and we begin to feel the general, integral, global reality that exists only in this way and the force that sustains it, mobilizes it, moves it is the Creator. This is the Exodus from Egypt.

Beyond that we’re only developing in disconnecting more and more from the “I” and cleaving each one to “we” more and more. So later will be able to say about us that we became a nation. Although there are many individuals there, they all connect either in the inclination or in general as one man and one heart. Different desires of course and he who is greater than his friend his desires are also greater. The greater desires are different than the desire of the other friends but we’re all connected in such a tendency so that all these desires will be as if one part. It is not similar to what’s happening in our world when we sometimes talk about such groups of people who connect between them. We’re talking about being under the influence of one upper force.

We annul towards it, and that enters connection between us. Let’s read the verses, let’s talk about them. We will try to chew them, understand them, swallow them, feel them, incorporate in them. We have an entire week for this work because all in all this transition for the Exodus from Egypt,  just the Exodus, just to come out of Egypt takes about a week. We need to go over all our inner qualities, our 7 inner qualities, and that’s how we advance. We build ourselves spiritually of course. Let’s hope that we will feel it, how it truly happens to us, and we’ll do it. There are those among us who are like grown-ups, they feel those changes, there are those who don’t feel the changes as much and those who feel changes but don’t know where they’re from, meaning they’re not participating and managing them; and there are those who are like babies who although it passes over them they are not aware of what’s going on.

What can we do? But if all of us work to come out of this state of control between us, to a state where only the force of love and connection dwells, then we will all come out. The group that comes out of Egypt includes men, women, children, old people, everyone. They even take the animals with them. Whoever is there with them in Egypt they are taking everything. They don’t leave anything and it just says that we are ready to disconnect from the state we’ve had thus far and to move to a new state and this new state is connection between us. The feeling that we belong to one destiny, one fate that is writing us and we agree to be with it as much as possible and we annul toward the connection between us.

Excerpt 192 (08:53) twice

2. R. (10:15) Okay. Meaning it’s clear for us that first of all we have to disconnect from in order to receive from our ego, to the extent that it’s revealed in each and everyone. Later the ego might grow more and more but we’re speaking about the time being. Whatever I’m in I want to have a miracle happen to me. That I would disconnect from my ego, and be connected to everyone. Or the other way around that I connect to everyone to such an extent that I disconnect from my ego. And this transition to feeling myself adhered towards the group and also disconnected, forgetting about myself, this is the Exodus from Egypt.

Exiting self-love and to that extent I leave self-reception. I become the servant of the Creator because I don’t care about myself and more than before I feel myself under the authority of the Creator. The authority of the Creator does not mean that it’s the same as when I was controlling myself. It’s the kind of authority that appears only inside the group or humanity or the system that I’m incorporated in. The general force that is revealed inside the system is called the Creator. The way it’s written is I dwell among my people. Therefore love for myself becomes love for the group, my small group and later for all of humanity and then love for all of reality.

Because everything is received as the revelation of the Creator relative to me. By trying to be more connected with all of this reality that is being revealed to me, I become more and more the worker of the Creator, the servant of the Creator. To that extent I am rewarded with inner power that exists, that dwells in all of reality which is the Creator. As we hear from the Exodus from Egypt, it’s something that doesn’t happen all at once. But rather something that is extended and our work is to be in it.

3. S. (14:14) When a person works for himself we are familiar with that and clearly he fulfills or tries to fulfill his desires. What does it mean to be the worker of the Creator, what desire are we working on?

R. There is no Creator without a created being. The Creator is a force that’s revealed among a collection of people who have connection, Arvut, mutual guarantee. And then this force that exists between the common force, it appears to them as the Creator. That force we want to get to know, detect it, adapt ourselves to it and be like it. Meaning as much as I can I depict, portray my ten in a state where it accumulates and holds in itself the example of the Creator, the force that connects them, that glues them and I wish to strengthen this force. This is our entire work on which we will depend for livelihood, for hope, for truth. Not for myself personally but in general. That we all have to reach Him and cleave unto it. That’s the meaning of being the Creator’s servant.

S. Is it a specific desire, changing desires? How to correctly describe it?

R. No, it’s a specific desire to reveal the upper force, the central force that exists in the general structure of all of reality and around Him all of reality is organized. It connects and this force brings it to life, sustains it. Thanks to Him everything exists.

S. Is it a specific desire? What is that desire?

R. A desire for all parts of reality that were created opposite the Creator intentionally in different ways, different modes. That despite that they would want to overcome the gaps between them, the ego, the hatred between them in order to be united and in this way to discover Him inside of them.

4. S. (17:32) So does that follow from all of this that exiting the rule of Pharaoh is entering the right connection under the rule of the Creator or we still need this state between Heaven and Earth?

R. There are all sorts of states where a person is transitioning here and there. He is still not certain how to describe himself to the Creator but those things are well defined, we have to go through them. There aren’t that many styles to this. Of course there are doubts and problems that can linger for years although in our time it’s getting reduced to a much shorter period. But it can be years that a person is in a stage where he enters and leaves, enters and leaves as if he’s entering and leaving, transitioning through all the states and that’s a problem, his connection to the ten and the influence of the ten on him.

5. S. (19:13) What needs to be my personal approach when I approach the friends and approach the ten?

R. I need to relate to my ten as if this is that state, the corrected state where if I’m included in it I come out of my egoistic self, meaning I come out of Egypt and I enter and transition to the spiritual state and that’s how I should accept this state. As much as I can be immersed in them connected to them, especially internally, soulfully. Physically it doesn’t have to be necessarily because we are distant from one another for the most part. So as much as we try to be close to one another, not physically but over the internal distance, by that we activate more and more of the single upper light that works on us and defines us.

6. S. (20:54) I can’t understand what it means to detach from oneself and go above the ego because everything within me is confused, so is there an answer to it or I have to understand the role my own?

R. For that the shattering took place and it’s working on all people, and everyone, we all feel ourselves broken, each one is in his ego. Can’t connect one another only on the condition that I have some egoistic profit and that’s how we exist until we begin to decide and we decide that the correct future is only on the condition that we connect above the forces that separate us. From this we are going to rebuild our new society and although egoistic forces are working among us, above them we know that we must with great force, with effort, we must connect between us. We’re not like little children, who see that they can’t and then they throw it out, rather we understand that these two forces of nature, the force of rejection, the force of attraction, it’s on us to manage those forces.

To do it so the force of attraction will be greater than the repelling force and they give us all kinds of existence in the physical group, physical world. So that even without our desires we can physically hold or come closer between us and in this way we position ourselves closer and closer to one another. This coming closer is taking place so that it’s gradual. I to the friend, the friend to me so on and so forth, different transitions that come closer and move farther apart and we understand that there’s no other way. Although we want to run away from our connection, to such an extent that we begin to see that we have no way out, no other possibility to influence our inner closeness. Only through the connection between us. This connection gradually appears and becomes more and more important. Although we need to constantly maintain it and not let it run away from us because our ego is constantly revealing itself.

But we have to understand that the ego that is revealed is that, so on top of it we need to grow, we need to establish a more powerful connection. It’s written love covers all transgressions. Greater transgressions appear, we have to cover them with greater love and this is how we advance. Until we discover that we are unable to approach our ego, to come out of our ego by ourselves then we cry out. This cry is still ahead of us. But we are already in a process and therefore I am asking everyone to try and take place, take part of this process. Just as we learn from the story, everyone is coming out of Egypt, men, women, old people, young people, we take everyone, also all of our vessels meeting our desires, our thoughts, the results of the actions that we’ve done in Egypt that we take everything with us, everything. Even though we run away from Egypt in the middle of the night in a state where we can understand how, I simply run away. The state that we come onto is where we have no idea where to go we just know that we had to run away from this life where everyone is inside their egos, mutual hate, competition, mutual rejections, when we have to leave from this whole life, this whole world that was built by ego, will direct us.

Here we are running away from it, we are trying to disconnect from it in order to construct different kinds of relationships, a new world that will not exist on hate and rejection and the face offs against each other, wars and collisions. Rather that everyone will be part of a mutual system that we build where everyone can complete one another because we accumulated inside of us those great deficiencies, the great egoistic desires we can begin to work with them in an inverted manner. We can complete one another because we see that in the conflict and we destroy each other and the upper force that can be revealed between us the connection of love, complementarity that force can disappear from us completely then we need to try and assemble it. As it’s written you have made me, says the Creator. In the Exodus from Egypt we aim for that, how to build the Creator between us to set up such a system of connection between us such relationships where the force of connection, love and completion, it appears in us and this way we enter the spiritual world, the internal world.

7. S. (29:15) Do I see my friends in the ten as if they need to come out of Egypt or should I see them out of Egypt?

R. I need to see my friends in the ten as ready to come out of Egypt, although I may not be able to identify it completely but they are ready to come out of Egypt and that’s why the Creator chose them to be with me. In effect also arranged from above by the Creator to come to them and to support them and by that we are leaving. Everything but me personally is ready to come out of the egoistic world, egoistic relationships and enter a different world, a world of love, a world of connection, mutual support. Where if we try to arrange such relationships between us, by that we set up our infrastructure for the revelation of the upper force according to equivalence of form.

8. S. (31:07) I thought a lot, I’m afraid of the Exodus from Egypt and I reached the conclusion that I’m afraid of losing my free choice right now. I have an illusion that I can be righteous or wicked, I can pray or not pray. In spirituality is there free choice or only subjugation towards bestowal, total submission. The fear is to become a robot of bestowal, is there free choice?

R. When you come out even to a small extent the feeling of the upper world, you begin to see a reality how all of us is included inside the will to receive and this will to receive each time, like a serpent is looking to see where it can swallow something and that’s what it does and this is us in this life. We have no choice, we are governed from above 100% on the condition that it manages us, it walks ahead of us, it aims each and every one only towards seeing where there’s more to receive. When we come out of this state, from under the control of this snake, this will to receive, we gradually begin to grow in us the force of bestowal then we begin to work into lines, later on we will learn how to bring it together, attach them to the third line.

So we’re not merely chasing the light, small light which is a spark from the light of Hochma, but we’ll see the light of Hassadim and will clothe them in the light of Hochma in the light of Hassadim. That’s where we begin to assemble and by ourselves and we seemingly hover above us and we micromanage us from above. That’s what’s happening to us, that’s what’s happening to us and that development ahead of the upper world.

We don’t lose anything, we only begin to see how confused we were, how we were tossed from one egoistic desire to the other, and we confuse that for free choice, for an independent life. It’s not an independent life, it’s what we call replacing a cow for a donkey, you never come out of corporeality, it just seems to you that you’re changing something but you’re changing nothing. You are simply jumping from one desire to another. What’s managing you and even then it’s not you who is jumping or choosing but it’s all from above, you can’t even see it whereas in spirituality we begin to see and to understand how we begin to participate in the system of free choice.

9. S. (35:20) Am I understanding correctly that the more a person depicts to himself the image of the ten where the friends are connected in mutual love, mutual bestowing, to that extent that he can imagine this to himself, in this depiction the more he can elaborate it, the force of bestowal, is this the Exodus from Egypt that measure of revelation of the Creator?

R. The Exodus from Egypt takes place when the person finally decides when he doesn’t want to be under the authority of his will to receive but he must discover the force of bestowal and he is willing to make actions although it is against his will to receive. So actions so we will also have the force of bestowal and only then to that extent he can perform a precise act so he won’t see them in his ego as usual.

S. He has to create this depiction in connection with the friends, how much they are in mutual love, mutual bestowal and then this so how much is the state?

R. If he connects to the friends in order to build between them mutual connections where each one according to his abilities annuls himself in order to be connected to the others in this one network, then to that extent they gradually build the system. That like a web that catches the fish and extracts them, that system that they build is above them, it catches them and extracts them from the ego to into in order to bestow.

10. S. (38:15) How can a person check himself that he indeed comes out of Egypt?

R. The fact that he is thinking of his ten and not of himself means that he’s on the way towards the Exodus.

S. Every day we have some connections, we’re cutting off something of ourselves, sacrificing something of our ego?

R. You are not doing anything against the ego, you simply wish to advance egotistically towards one another but there’s no choice, you continue with that till you understand that these actions that you’re doing are egoistic and how to do it differently? It’s only through the connection between you and the prayer.

S. If I can continue, we don’t always go against our ego.

R. You always follow our ego and only on the condition when we are together can we connect and turn to the Creator and then we receive from above a new desire, a new inspiration and that picks us up. If we ourselves as you said we connect, we speak, this is all us. Only the connection together to the upper force to dwell among us as much as possible, to accompany us, to change, only this will help.

11. S. (40:17) There was Passover Eve, I asked the group if I should participate with the Passover Eve with the family or come to the lesson, one of the two, one friend answered privately and said I’m not going to miss a lesson at any situation so you need to be at the lesson. I came to the lesson and I felt a great relief, opposite to the heavy feeling I had since the last few weeks but now it felt a lot easier to come to the lesson and participate with the friends. Is the action of asking the friend, I’m not trying to say I did something right here, but I just want to understand if this action of asking the friend, and he makes the decision for you is that a correct thing?

R. Yes, a friend can tell a friend what he thinks he should do, should you listen or not that’s your decision.

12. S. (41:48) So my ego is the ego of each one of the other 9 friends or my ego is in their responsibilities, if with other tens it’s like running circles until it’s the whole universe is that a correct depiction?

R. Maybe it might be true, it might be correct, I’m not sure what you’ll get out of it.

S. I’m trying to feel it more.

R. I want to be immersed more in the text of Baal HaSulam and Rabash and not what I imagined to myself and I take this picture that I imagine and I take it as truth. I constantly wish to paint this picture according to the text that I’m reading. Our original text.

13. S. (42:57) In every friend there is something unique by which he completes the ten, how do we create the balance in bringing my uniqueness opposite the annulment towards the friends?

R. I need to build this only shape before me as the group and be immersed in it.

14. S. (43:33) According to the process you mentioned at first it sounded like I expand my radius from the ten gradually to all of humanity so what does it mean to exit myself?

R. Exit myself means that how much I prefer complaints, the qualities, the goals, of the Creator through the group. I subject myself towards it.

S. After a person exits oneself and begins to feel the group in a broader sense, it’s part of his “I”, it becomes part of himself?

R. Yes.

S. So I have to rise to a greater circle, rising above myself?

R. When I rise above my serpent, above the evil inclination then I enter the group that’s where I find the “I”.

S. What is the servant of the Creator here?

R. Servant of the Creator is one who annuls himself towards the ten and is willing towards the ten to perform actions that are called Mitzvot, commandments. The Creator commands us to act this way, to behave this way until we become like him.

15. S. (45:26) You said before that both men, women and children, everyone comes out of Egypt we should feel that?

R. This speaks not about, not about men, women and children but the degree of development of the will to receive in the person and according to what we see in each person, where such a desire will to receive the wisdom of Kabbalah has to be open, transparent for everyone, so as much as a person is capable and develops and reveals himself towards the wisdom of Kabbalah to that extent we advance.

S. What are the parts of the nation that didn’t rise at all?

R. So I didn’t, what can you do until it comes to them, we are asBaal HaSulam writes moving towards the general redemption so what are the parts of the nation, talk about the parts of humanity.

S. But I make this discernment. I’m saying okay where am I standing inside the ten, what are the parts of the people that don’t come out of Egypt or the levels of the women and children that are like a lower-level?

R. No, women or children or men or old people or young people, it’s all one man, it doesn’t matter who he is or what he does. You don’t relate to the flesh, we relate to the development of the will to receive which is seemingly inside the flesh called a point in the heart. This is the upper desire, the Divine part from above and according to his degree of development he’s called a man or a woman, a child and so on and so forth.

S. I’m trying to know the discernment between the desires of the women and children that are somehow connected inside that group, that exits opposite the desires or personal state you are in that is not connected because the women and the children themselves don’t know where to go.

R. Yes, that too, it is like when people come to us, you can see people participate, they come to us, so you can see their states, typically men, also women but mostly men who received them they’re still holding on like babies, this can be more mature and so on and so forth, its not speaking of a person’s physical form but his inner development.

S. What part in me is the part that doesn’t rise that doesn’t come out of Egypt, I’m seeing everything within me, there’s a part of me that’s women and children and there’s a part that doesn’t come out at all.

R. Then you don’t come out from Egypt.

S. Right, those who remain, not the mixed multitude to those that actually remain.

R. There are such desires that cannot be corrected for the time being. The end of Egypt even goes under correction, all of humanity is going through those corrections gradually but for the time being, no, for now it’s only the part that awakens. Also in us there are desires that are higher and desires that are lower. That’s how it works generally with humanity will learn about it. So we need to disseminate widely as Baal HaSulam described to us what’s happening at the end of correction and whatever will be, will be, okay.

16. S. (50:18) During Pesach last year and the year before, I was watching the lessons and I remember that the body becomes heavier, it’s because we all have corporeal responsibilities, needs of the body and personally when we raise importance of the soul of the ten, the body seems to be unnecessary heaviness. It’s becoming hard to satisfy needs of the body, so how can we arrange ourselves in a way that we will also take care of the body?

R. It’s not exactly relevant to the time of Passover but just a person’s attitude to life in general, it is possible that I do all kinds of actions I have to do. I have to work, I have to provide for the family, I have to organize the house, get groceries, prepare food, maybe take care of my wife and kids, and so on. This is as an addition to our work of connecting between us. We don’t know why things are organized like that but everything comes from the point of connection between us and the Creator that existed in the beginning of creation and then appeared more and more in its desire to receive.

So that’s how this whole system has evolved, where we see that it seems to be all completely against spirituality, against the connection but there is no choice, we have to do all of those things. However you still have your head with it and you can leave a part in your head that is available, clear for thoughts about connection and the goal of creation. Try to do that with all of the work you have to do in the corporeal world and see how much it helps you divide reality into these two worlds. You will see that it is possible and that it advances you. Everything was created from the complete state, the perfect state in the beginning, we accept it as our broken state and we try to bring it once again to the complete state and by that we make a correction and reach that goal.

S. I feel you, that you are telling it so part of the correction of this even if it seems corporeal and they are all connected. There is also the fact that Torah is draining one’s livelihood inside the person.

R. This is deliberate so that you will want to advance and cling to the upper force which is the source of strength. If you would advance with your own strength you would reject the Creator, everyone else, you would just go on your own and that is the most false untruthful state that can be.

S. Receiving but now we can receive power from also intention of bestowal, that we also see that last year you were asking the same questions to you, but my interest was that how can I take myself out of Egypt but now I look at myself that I worried how can I take my ten, my friends out of Egypt. So my intention was for me to take myself out but now it is my friends how can I take them out, the world Kli, how can I give them an awakening?

R. It didn’t change a little bit, it changed a lot now you understand that exiting Egypt is connecting with the ten. That inside the ten you are describing yourself, not that you are on your own or at the center of the ten you are in connection with the others with the friends, only by that, by attaining the connection you each begin to emerge from your “I” to the we and that is the Exodus from Egypt. So you’re already describing it differently, maybe you still can’t express it in a complete way but it’s already a different picture, a different level.

17. S. (56:45) When you opened the lesson and you said that we will come out of Egypt, men, women and children you spoke about degrees of the will to receive, you also spoke about the degree of animals, animate degree, what are you referring to?

R. We carry our whole will to receive from in order to receive, to in order to bestow and that’s it and the more we use all our desires, even desires not in relationships between people, we also improve them towards in order to bestow.

S. Yesterday spoke about the change of a degree and asked if you can go backwards and he said not until your release from the previous state you’ll never reach the new state. The question is how can we scrutinize that to make sure that we have done the cleaning in the ten, what do we need to scrutinize in order to enter a new degree, is it something that has to do with personal desires we have to annul?

R. You have to believe that the friends are at a higher degree than yours like Rabbi Yossi ben Kisma. Read that short article once again and from this you’ll understand that other than annulment before the group there is no correct discernment with which you can advance in spirituality, that’s it.

Reading # 193 (59:25)

18. R. (01:00:50) As long as we are under the rule of our will to receive we cannot do any action in order to bestow which is called making a commandment. All our actions, however beautiful and great they are as it may appear in this world, like all kinds of actions between people, they are still done on behalf of the ego and only after we exit the ego which is called Exodus from Egypt and rise above our ego then we can make actions of pure bestowal, not for our ego but for the sake of bestowing to each other as much as we want according to our degree. Because after exiting Egypt there are 125 degrees of “in order to bestow” that we have to climb. So we have to see our path this way. So the main thing is to come out of exile, meaning that we are inside the will to receive and the will to receive dictates to us what we need to do, into redemption where we stop following the commands of our ego and we advance in the relationship to the Creator. That we want to determine from our group, our group determines our relationship. So the relationship we can determine through the connection between us and with the Creator, they are the actions that are unrelated to “in order to receive” to our ego. They are spiritual actions and in them we begin to feel the upper spiritual reality.

19. S. (01:03:05) The Exodus from Egypt, is it suitable to feel inside of me a point in the heart that expands my heart, connects me with my friends and to the Creator? Is that state coming out of myself the same or am I deluding myself?

R. How will I know if I deceive myself in the Exodus from Egypt? That when I stop thinking about myself and I only think about the ten and through the ten the Creator.

20. S. (01:04:04) It says here there is room for prayer to the Creator to help them come out of this exile. This prayer, is it a prayer for the ten, a prayer that includes everyone?

R. It is a prayer for the ten, a prayer for everyone, with the intention that from this action according to the inclination of a person it will bring contentment to the Creator. Mitzvah means that you want to do good to the Creator.

21. S. (01:05:00) What are the actions that purify our thoughts relative to the question?

R. The physical actions? There are some actions but it’s not that the actions themselves describe our intentions or purify our intentions. Our intentions only purify when we gather. It doesn’t need to be physically, it doesn’t have to be physically but we want to connect between us and we clarify why are we not fully connected, what else we need to do to become connected. And we turn to the Creator so that He helps us, connects us, helps clean our field, our space from egoistic intentions, and that we relate to each other only in a form of connection and love above our ego.

Reading # 194 twice (01:06:24)

22. R. (01:07:01) Because in these actions when we think that we can make an action and by that bring joy to the Creator, we can’t. I cannot bring contentment to the Creator, period, I can’t. Unless I awaken the others, the whole, and I do that only by turning into the Creator and asking from the Creator for the sake of the whole, for the sake of the group and to the extent that the group awakens then we bring contentment to the Creator. I myself cannot bring Him contentment. I will induce connection in the ten so that it tries by the upper force to make action of mutual bestowal and that will bring contentment to the Creator. It is like a kindergarten nanny or like a mother who enjoys seeing her children play together nicely in mutual bestowal.

Reading # 194 (01:11:30)

23. R. (01:12:45) So in what force we come out of Egypt? Only by praying for the others, strengthening the friends, awakening them and only thinking about the collective force of the ten in order to better connect and bring contentment to the Creator. This is basically the plan of Exodus from Egypt in practice, otherwise we don’t exit.

Reading # 194 (01:13:28)

24. R. (01:14:36) In other words as much as we approach a state where we feel the “we” instead of me this is really our nearing to the Exodus from Egypt. This is the only way. After us, all of humanity, there will be no choice as Baal HaSulam writes about the wars of the last generation, etc. Humanity will have to take upon itself this condition whatever happens to them. The end of the program of creation exists, and this is where we have to be, where we have to be incorporated mutually and completely. He writes very serious things here. Even when I’m at home and I’m thinking of myself and not about the ten I destroy myself, destroy myself. This is what he says. Moreover he brings ruin upon him soul, etc. So we have to take these things very, very seriously. This is what Baal HaSulam writes himself. So let’s accept these things truthfully and try to go over them more and more and more and in this way we will gradually begin to feel and understand and pray for what we really are lacking, for the right things. Because if we pray for things that are not quite according to our spiritual advancement by this we are deviating from our path, and then we are prolonging our development years and years, years and years.

25. S. (01:16:44) When I only feel myself, does that mean that the connection in the ten fell apart or I left that connection?

R. You cannot say anything about the ten. The ten you have to accept them as Rabash writes about them. They are all at the end of correction and only you are out of it.

S. But then I enter the prayer of myself because they’re connected and I think how I can connect myself to them?

R. So you have to pray that they will be united in your eyes and you want to be incorporated in them and be absorbed in them.

S. So I suppose we have to build this connection anyway?

R. You have to build connection, right. Because it’s all from the perspective of a person. The way they seem to you, that’s how they seem to you.

Reading # 195 (01:17:48)

26. R. (01:19:12) In other words every single person must depict to himself a state as if he is now coming out of Egypt. He is shifting from an egoistic state to an altruistic state, from being disconnected from others to being connected to others. He should always see himself in a  transition, because this transition awakens in him all the forces and all the vessels that he still has not corrected but that are in him. Although he doesn’t feel them, he doesn’t reveal them, all the corrected forms that he wants to achieve, he wants to come to, but he still has not detected them. So he should constantly depict to himself. This is why it is written that every generation meaning in every situation a person must see himself as if he is now coming out of Egypt. Until when? Until the complete end of correction, and then it will become a completely corrected state.

27. S. (01:21:03) My question is: the holidays and going through this whole process, many times I’ve heard you say during the years, say that it can happen to you once a day or 20 times a day, once a year or two hundred times a year. So this process constantly happens and never stops right?

R. Right.

28. S. (01:21:44) You said that if we pray for things that don’t help us advance spiritually we’re deviating from the path and the path lengthens for many years. So it turns a prayer into a very dangerous weapon that we have in our hands, it can either help or harm, but we still pray everyday and we try to build a mutual prayer. How to really ask for what we need?

R. I would put it this way, it’s not so important what you ask for. If you ask for bad things, incorrect things like a child asks for something that might harm him and he is not given it, and he cries and screams but he’s not given it. But still the fact that he asks builds the connection between the person and the Creator and the Creator gradually corrects a person’s desires so the person will ask for something more correct and more correct. This is why it is written I wish he prayed all day. All day be connected to the Creator. Hang your future only on Him and that besides Him you have nothing that you need to be connected to, think about, come close to and in this way you will shorten your path and you will attain things. That’s it.

29. S. (01:24:10) You said that we need to build inside us the form of the group. Can you give us an example, what does that mean?

R. I don’t know how to tell you. Do you have a family? Do you have a depiction of the family within you, your wife, your kids, little ones, grown ups. In the same way you should have a depiction of your ten and that you are in constant connection with it.

30. S. (01:24:52) What is in that upper light?

R. The fact that you want to be in transition between the corporal egoistic world and the spiritual altruistic world and here in this transition you scrutinize exactly what you had there and what you will have here, what you take with you and what you don’t. Under which vessels you operated there and under which vessels you operate now, what should change in you. From what you were when you were in order to receive and what you will stay with with which you continue to be in order to bestow. Who are you connected with? Who is governing you, etc.? The transition is the most important scrutiny we have at this point. This is why we celebrate Passover so much. You pass over, you shift, you transition from a world to a world, from the governance of the ego to the governance of the Creator. To distinguish between them and to be in this incision in the boundary where with one foot you’re still here and with the other foot you’re already there. It’s very important.

These scrutinies help you a lot because until you understand in what state you were in while you were a slave in Egypt you cannot depict out of this in what way you are now entering freedom. What is the freedom and what is your liberty? So what does it say? A person should always depict himself as if he is now coming out of Egypt. But if he’s already in spirituality? No, the transition from Egypt to spirituality on all kinds of degrees in all kinds of conditions continues until the end of correction, until the final correction. This is why we say in every commandment meaning in every operation we do in order to bestow it’s in memory of the Exodus from Egypt. Meaning from the first step from in order to receive to in order to bestow from that point we expand in more and more, and that’s it.

31. S. (01:28:00) How can I detect the Exodus to myself if I have no idea what we’re speaking about. Can’t my imagination deviate me?

R. Yes, we have to exert as much as we can to try to imagine what it means to be outside of Egypt and try to behave this way. By this we also activate the prayer for the Exodus from Egypt and this is how we advance.

S. Second question. I want to ask about the prayer. There is the book of Psalms where he writes about him and the Creator and there is nobody but them. He was so connected to Him.

R. David is a different form of the will to receive which corresponds to Malchut, this is why it’s called David King of Israel. And this is why all of the songs that he wrote are prayers to the Creator and they are in everyone, all of humanity accepts them. No matter who or what everyone receives from there, accepts the words that are there, the words and the prayer and the plea, the litany to the Creator. Because without them there is nothing. It’s impossible that anyone would be able to express the connection between Malchut and the Creator because he made that connection holy. He achieved the state of the final correction, the end of correction. This is why he’s called the King of Israel, So you can read it, it’s good to read it as much as we understand it, as much as we understand. I wrote a small short composition once in Russian from Psalms. That was a long time ago. Of course today I might have done it differently but I recommend doing it.

Excerpt # 196 (01:30:47)

32. R. (01:31:19) Meaning he says we already came out of Egypt, we are already wise and intelligent and all that. Still we should awaken in ourselves the root of the Exodus, yes.

Reader continues: (01:31:31)

33. R. That transition is very important.

Reader continues: (01:31:43)

34. R. (01:32:31) This is specifically during the time of Passover which is our time now. But in general, everyday as it is written a person has to see himself as if he’s coming out of Egypt now. In other words we have to live this transition from the Klipa, the shell into Kedusha, into holiness, from the will to receive to the will to bestow, from disconnection to connection every single minute as much as possible and live in it. To receive deficiencies that are still in order to receive and receive also from there the power, the drive forward to the intention to bestow.

35. S. (01:33:21) When we study these excerpts we emphasize the despair, the difficulty, the hard work, the overcoming and so on. What is the place of gratitude and happiness in the process of the exodus?

R. I think the from beginning to end there is room for gratitude and joy because we are really in a state where we are above all the created beings. We can raise the deficiency for all the creative beings. It’s not like we are better than they are but the Creator separated us and created us. It’s not like the Creator’s saving us and raised us and all that. No, it’s because we have such forces in the soul, it came to us from the root of our soul, so we can pull after us all the people. We come to a state where every single person in the world can come to attain the spiritual world, attain the Creator, connect with everyone and build humanity as one force and therefore we’re happy about this.

S. How central is it, how much importance should we give the place of gratitude in the work between us?

R. I think that this gratitude should constantly be in our hearts and on top of the gratitude we also raise the deficiencies in the forces of correction because we want to participate in the correction of the world, in correction of the common force more and more and more. But the gratitude has to be the basis, foundation. When we begin to turn to the Creator we begin with gratitude, it’s called the blessings. Afterwards we raise ourselves more and more into litanies, requests. That’s it, until from gratitudes and litanies we come to the unification in the Shema reading.

S. Since we can’t relate to anything beyond Egypt and don’t have this difference in what can we do, in what can we awaken this sensation this feeling?

R. Even if we now feel that we are nearing the Exodus from Egypt we’ve been rewarded with some awareness of it. It is still a part of the salvation and we are grateful for it and we take pride in it, if you can talk about pride correctly. And this is what we want to share with all the people in the world, so they too will come at least to this if not more.

S. Could it be beneficial to renew the moment let’s say that the point of the heart awakens and the beginning of the path? Such things that there were a very clear sensation in that suddenly a new reality opened up to a person?

R. Yes, this is in us although we feel it very blurry because we are drawn forward and with our complaints that we don’t have more we forget the past, we’re not grateful for the past, and you’re right that we should awaken that. In what am I better than all those billions and billions of souls that are still not even at the beginning of the correction like me? So I’m grateful to the Creator for doing this for me. I have to pass on this awakening to everyone.

36. S. (01:38:33) You said that we have to pray for the right things, what does that mean? Is it only connection in the tens or something else?

R. Well, Rabash writes about this in all his articles, what are we asking for? First of all for connection because out of the right connection we can scrutinize and clarify all of our states, whatever they are, so it is important for us to really be connected, that is the condition. We grip the correct entry point, the beginning point and what do we do with it afterwards, how do we define the Arvut, the mutual responsibility between us, increase the mutual responsibility between us, and how within the mutual responsibility do we reveal the Creator? Because you cannot reveal the Creator unless as a common force, the only force between us. So the stronger our mutual responsibility and the stronger our connection, the stronger our integration in all kinds of forms, these integrations, these corporations between us, so the more we reveal the Creator. This is why the Creator’s called, Come and See, and “I dwell among My own people”, and we in the connection between us reveal this essence. Each rises above his ego and becomes incorporated in others, out of these incorporations from himself to others, we reveal the image of the Creator as a result of the ascent from ourselves and the incorporation of each one in all the others, by this we build the image of the Creator.

37. S. (01:40:55) We have a question: I see how much efforts the friends are doing, in dissemination, in the ten, the lessons, so how does it happen that you take the decision to come out of Egypt?

R. We have to speak to one another, we have to help each other, we have to receive this deficiency from the friends and from the study. From reading it in the words of Baal HaSulam and Rabash, and in this way we advance, and this way, advance.

S. If I try to correct my soul, isn’t that egoistic?

R. I’m not sure what you mean but a soul means a part of God from above; the Creator is entirely a desire to bestow, a desire to love, there’s nothing more besides this. So if I discover in me a desire to bestow and desire to love toward everyone and from my everyone to the Creator, there is no other way, if I take this feeling through everyone to the Creator then it is considered that I, too, am revealing or discovering my soul. And by this I make myself similar to the Creator and through this type of connection I am in adhesion with the Creator, this is all they need to do.

38. S. (01:43:00) About the prayer: when I’m alone and I want to pray for the group you said, “I wish you’d pray all day”, so how do I pray for the group if I do not know if they are in a state of interconnection?

R. It doesn’t matter what states there in, you just have to bring yourself to a state where you demand their spiritual success and this is what you asked the Creator for.

S. Even though they’re not with me now?

R. What does it mean to be together?

S. In my thoughts and my prayer?

R. It depends on you, what do you want, it depends on you?

S. I want for the good of the group, that the friends advance.

R. I understand everything, fewer words. You want them to be together with you? Try to think that they are together with you, that is it.

39. S. (01:44:40) The feeling of these words to fill the others, to pray for the others, they feel, this feeling creates a feeling of emptiness. And it feels that here we have to aim for contentment to the Creator, for the benefit of the Creator. How do we?

R. Make an effort, make an effort to put into your heart, the friends; and through wanting to bestow abundance upon the friends, ask the Creator to help you build such an attitude toward the friends. And through the friends, when you come to it, when you come to thinking about them and praying for them, through it, you will also continue into a prayer for the Creator because you can not turn to the Creator unless for the friends. This is why he writes “from the love of friends to the love of the Creator”, because there’s no other way to arrange things, the vessel is incomplete. .

S. I feel that that’s the question, where does the Creator come in here?

R. The Creator is the inclusive, the inclusion of all your efforts to connect. It is like sum total, the totality of your connection.

S. So I aim to Him before?

R. In the beginning as well as in the end, you think about the Creator, and the actions are in the friends.

S. But this term is still a concept, it’s empty.

R. It is empty because you don’t have connection between you, if you had connection between you, that connection itself would depict to you the image of the Creator, the form of the Creator because the Creator has no form, has no image or anything. But the connection between the friends in natural bestowal brings them the image and the feeling of the Creator.

S. So when there is a connection we can ready aim it for the benefit of the Creator?

R. Of course, of course, why does the connection in itself exist in the first place? Only to bring it to the benefit of the Creator, this is called “from the love of people to the love of the Creator”.

S. So how do we aim it for the benefit of the Creator?

R. First direct it for the benefit of the friends and in it you will discover the efficiency; because you are creating it among the friends you feel in this a need for a higher degree than this, for the Creator. These are not simple things, you cannot reach the Creator unless through connections with the friends between the friends.

S. What is that need for the higher degree, how is that expressed?

R. This is born by itself because from above downward, it emerges from Him, this is why if from below upward you created as a connection between you, then out of this awakens the question ‘why do I need this connection between us?’ and then you feel that there is a lack of the upper force here, the upper reason.

S. So, to begin with, I can’t think about this?

R. For whom?

S. For the benefit of the Creator.

R. You can say it but you still you don’t have the image His image is connection, it’sthe image of all the friends together.

S. So when we start connecting it has to be a connection that is completely egoistic, if we can say that.

R. It’s an egoistic connection but its purpose, its initial purpose theoretically, has to be to attain the Creator, to direct the power of the connection, the purpose of the connection to Him, to the Creator.

40. S. (01:50:21) We read a few excerpts that “a person cannot pray for himself”,so the question is: everything except from me personally is ready to come out of Egypt. If I can pray for the correction of myself for the others, is that a private prayer?

R. That, too, is something, when I pray to correct myself for the sake of others, okay, yes.

41. S. (01:51:04) Should a person see himself as he left Egypt now, how does he know that what he’s depicting is the right picture we should reach?

R. If he connects to the ten then he can see to what extent he’s in the right direction. He has no way to check himself other than that.

42. S. (01:51:36) How can you see yourself in the ten as if you already came out of Egypt?

R. You will feel that you are in one heart.

S. Sometimes it is written that we have to see ourselves as if we came out of Egypt and sometimes like we already came out of Egypt, what is the difference between the two states?

R. There are all kinds of discernments, the important thing is we want to come out of Egypt not be governed by the will to receive.

43. S. (01:52:22) What does it mean to think about the ten. Is it to think about the friends in my ten or the quality in the ten as is written in the Study of the Ten Sefirot?

R. About the point in the heart of each and every one just everyone just as we let say 40 forms or the shapes of women, I look at the inclination, the tendencies and the dispositions they all have. You know each of them wants to achieve connection with the Creator now she’s learning that connection with the Creator is possible only through the connection with the friends, she doesn’t want it. Here is what his ego on your ego is, she doesn’t want it but if the connection with the Creator becomes greater than her ego then she will relinquish her ego and connect with the others and by these a cheap the revelation of the Creator.

44. S. (01:53:36) What advice can you give us to multiply our efforts in the ten this week so we came out from self reception?

R. Tough questions, only to exercise to go over the material to learn over and over, to speak amongst yourselves among how can we, nevertheless, rise above our egos through these exercises as frequently as possible but short meetings. Let’s say 5 minutes, 10 minutes, tops, of talking about the connection between us, how much we can support it, how much we can awaken it. Each one should have no more than thirty seconds to speak.

45. S. (01:54:51) Where is the memory of the Exodus from Egypt, between us and or in each and everyone of us?

R. The memory of the Exodus of Egypt is in the heart of each and every one.

46. S. (01:55:12) If the Creator allows me to feel the merit of us over me should I ask him to maintain that state?

R. If I have the purest heart as much as I can, open as much as I can, want to connect to the friends in order to give a place for the Creator to close in our hearts.

47. S. (01:55:56) How is this possible from the rest of the holidays that we had over the \past years. How do we disconnect? How do we feel the discernment that this a unique opportunity that will not return?

R. I think this Passover is unique because most of Bnei Baruch feel that they are coming close to the entrance to the upper world, to the feeling of the upper force, that’s what’s special about this Passover.

48. S. (01:56:40) Can you recommend to us, how to read Psalms correctly, straight through or can we scrutinize in between the Psalms?

R. I don’t think we should scrutinize everything because they themselves include everything. Just find those poems, those songs, each one of the Psalms is called a song, that our heart will be able to respond to it. That’s it. Go find those.

Excerpt # 197 (01:58:02) “The miracle implies something that…” Twice

49. R. (02:00:26) It is very important what he writes here, it is worth going through many times also during the day, also during the month. Because a person can check what his real state is with all this.

Excerpt # 198 (02:00:53 – 02:01:35) “The Creator delivered them from the land of Egypt…

50. R. (02:01:37) Meaning, truly, the exodus, leaving in order to receive towards in order to bestow, it is a miracle. It’s a special relation from the Creator and the creature that raises man from the degree of restriction, of concealment of the ego and gives him an ability to work in order to bestow with the nature of the Creator; that man starts discovering as much as he’s filled with the force of the Creator and in this way he also starts relating to the others, to the environment in a way that he’s really enters a new nature, the upper nature.

51. S. (02:02:30) These excerpts truly awaken a desire to come out of yourself but there is this moment when the desire stops working, should I expect the Creator to act in this point?

R. No, you need to incorporate from the friend that you can get a deficiency from them, that’s how it is.

Excerpt # 198 (02:03:08 – 02:03:48) “Man’s ability to change nature is only in the eyes of…”

52. R. (02:03:48) Meaning that in each and every one of us there’s the point in the heart that yearns to come out to the next world, let’s say to in order to bestow, it’s in each and every one it’s from the shattering that happens in this system of Adam HaRishon that’s why there’s no person who doesn’t have this. We just have to awaken this point, increase it, nourish it and then with it we are drawn and come out of the will to receive in order to receive, and that’s called ‘the exodus from Egypt’. It all depends on our work as much as we help the point in our heart to develop and reach a force that will take us out.

53. S. (02:04:52) In order for the Creator to accept our request to change our nature, should I know I want to change you or is it enough to hate what I have right now?

R. The Creator accepts everything a person feels even if you don’t turn to Him; when you do turn to Him it is a powerful request that is already shows your intentions and your purpose, your goal as much as your request is serious and correct and stabilized correctly. That’s why we have to make sure that our request will be as much as directed towards the right action and the right result. I have to depict to myself as much as I can, as precisely as I can, not a fantasy, but as much as I can in a realistic way, “=what do I want to happen from me turning to the Creator and in a very purposeful way. Let’s say that I turn to Him and I get a response and this response changes me and I, in this way, change, that’s it. I need to imagine this in a way, as clearly as I can, and not to let go of the spirit of the Creator.

54. S. (02:06:55) You said something very critical during the lesson: that I cannot give contentment to the Creator by myself, I can only give contentment to the Creator through the connection with my friends, and I ask myself during the lesson that I want to be adhered to them that I want to be connected to them into one desire towards one intention but something is missing that I cannot touch them. I can come close but I cannot touch the essence, what is missing here?

R. What’s lacking is that you feel that you are in the darkness, in the night, and behind you the army of Pharaoh’s chasing you in order to kill you and part of you to bring back into Egypt. That you are there and you’re really scared of what could happen and that there’s no choice, you are willing to even jump to the stormy sea just not to go back into an order to receive, to be Pharaoh’s slaves. That to be his slaves, it’s not that you, in a corporeal way are suffering, no you are not suffering in a corporeal way, only in a spiritual way; that you cannot stand being activated or conducted by your ego that is making beasts of you, good beasts that constantly think only of themselves, just like a cow, I don’t know, it doesn’t matter, just sit and thinks if it can get along in its current state, that’s it.

Sit and eat, not to sit, to lie and eat, that’s what an animal wants. So that’s what Pharaoh wants, for us, again, to go into such states. That is called being ‘a slave’, that I lose the criticism on my desire more than a beast and I exist in order to go to work, come back, organize my life, my vacations, everything in this world and more than that, I don’t see, just like an animal. Animals don’t know or don’t see what’s happening to them beyond their beastly life, what they feel within their body and a person because he is advancing, he’s in a preparation for a spiritual ascent, so he already starts thinking what will happen to him, what will come of his life above just filling his life with little pleasures, he’s thinking about the essence of life.

Or is he just staying bitter with his question and doesn’t know how to get rid of it and then he’s just a poor guy; or by this question he reaches a method that helps him destroy the barrier between this world and the upper world and he sees all this infinite reality until the end of correction, Gmar Tikkun. So it depends how you depict to ourselves what it means to be “under the burden of Egypt”. There are people who enjoy this world and there are some that don’t enjoy it, but it’s worth it to just shut their eyes and not to see anything except for this world because at least  I’m just living and enjoying what I have. And there are such that are saying “no, I have to use this short life, that I have nothing in them, as much as pleasures as I can get, it’s still temporary and limited. I want to reach or at least to try and reach something higher”.

S. It is worse than death, turning back to the little will to receive. It’s like a pig playing in the mud, death is better than that.

R. But he’s enjoying it, this pig playing in the mod is enjoying himself. Look at your face now, how you’re depicting it, this is pleasure.

S. I love you.

R. Me too, it’ll be okay

55. S. (02:13:26) The request to exit Egypt comes at the end of the process. Can I ask about the end of the process even if you still don’t have all the discernments?

R. Yes because I said it already from Egypt everybody comes out: men, women, children, elders and even the animals, animals, the flock, they all come out of Egypt. So that’s why all people in all states, wherever they are, if they want to join everyone they will come out. That’s the force of the Arvut, the forces of the group that in such a way we supply forces to everyone.

S. Can we even ask for anything besides the possibility to labor, to exert?

R. To ask for anything except for the forces of exertion? They will already be a shell, a Klipa. Give me an example.

S. The exodus from Egypt is it only to ask for the strength to labor and we shouldn’t imagine something else?

R. Do you need something else? Except for having a feeling, an understanding and an ability to reach something for society, to “resemble Moses”, as we say, you need anything else but that? So what exertion are you speaking about and what salvation are you speaking, what coming out of Egypt are you talking about? If for you this action that you are pulling everybody, that you are helping everybody, that’s not enough? By this you are resembling towards the Creator, you are his representative, you are working with Him, you reach adhesion to Him with this action.

S. But how do we not disconnect the intention to receive from all these depictions?

R. You ask what you can in order to bestow and you will disconnect from the intention to receive. We cannot ask in order to disconnect from the will to receive, you pray for the will to bestow even if you are entirely in the will to receive, ask to be in the desire to bestow, that’s the right request. Because we don’t come out, we don’t disconnect from our desires to receive even if we reach in order to bestow, in order, in order to bestow, we don’t come out of the will to receive. It remains, we cannot destroy it, we cannot do anything about it, we can only correct its usage that “the angel of death will be as the Holy Angel”.

Excerpt # 200 (02:17:19 – 02:18:17) “A person sees that there is no way…”

56. R. (02:18:19) So you’ll read this through all the day. We still have a lot of material before us, we will keep going with it and we will learn, we will learn it.

57. S. (02:18:41) It is written that the Creator invites Moses to come to Pharaoh, so should we turn to the Creator to correct our ego or in the process of correction the Creator invites us to the correction?

R. What happens to us in the process that’s what happens and it happens from the Creator. We just have to yearn to reach connection between us and to Him.

58. S. (02:19:16) In Excerpt #196, it says “every year we have to awaken the root”, what does this mean, how do we awaken it?

R. That’s what we celebrate, Passover, each and every year; and even the people that are above the exodus of Egypt, they also need to go through this process because, we’ll supposedly, they celebrate the Exodus.

59. S. (02:19:55) How can I bring the world out of Egypt?

R. That’s after you try to do it in the ten, you will see how it’s possible to affect or influence the whole world, and everyone will come out of Egypt. It is not the problem of the world but the problem is of the ten. You be concerned of the tens, try to take them out of Egypt.

60. S. (02:20:40) Is there anything we should leave in Egypt, we should relinquish?

R. We don’t leave anything of ourselves, of our own in Egypt, nothing, but the opposite. As much as we can we take out of Egypt into spirituality in order to later on be able to develop it.

61. S. (02:21:13) When I should think about the ten, what should I think about it?

R. I don’t know, it is the vessel that with it you come out of Egypt into the spiritual world so think, try to depict it to yourself, I speak to your friends about it.

62. S. (02:21:45) How do we depict a state before we’re in it?

R. According to what Kabbalists write us.

63. S. (02:22:02) Excerpt #194, what is the basis for relinquishment of our ability to pray only for the friends?

R. The basis? Only the connection between us.

64. S. (02:22:25) If we all come out of Egypt together, why did we come out at different degrees?

R. It’s a lot of people or as one man but with many desires and thoughts, and that’s how we are. That all these qualities come to us from the corporation of the shattering in Adam HaRishon, that’s why we have no choice, that’s us.

65. S. (02:23:00) What is the meaning of the commandant “to remember the exodus of Egypt”?

R. That we always come back to the same root and from that root we try again to ascend again; but it’s not the same ascent, it’s different. It’s different every time, we scrutinize and scrutinize things.

66. S. (02:23:24) What does it mean to be ‘an idol worshipper’, and what does it mean to come out of Egypt for the idol worshipper in me?

R. “Idol worshipping” means that I bow before my will to receive and make it, see it as something important; and obviously in this way we cannot come out of Egypt.

S. (02:23:49) Is the final Correction the complete exodus from Egypt, and then what is ‘the desert’ afterwards?

R. Yes, they complete exit and correction of all the vessels that we take out of Egypt is called Gmar Tikkun, the final correction. That’s why in all the corrections, we say “in memory of Exodus”.

67. R. (02:25:11) The summary is the exit, the exodus, that’s it, that has to be. We have to, throughout the day, we have to go over this material, discuss it, connect upon it. And let’s hope that, for sure, but let’s hope that it will cause us an advancement to the exit or even the exit of itself. There are ones who are actually next to the opening, to connect to the group, and come close to the exodus. Run away from Egypt! That’s what I recommend from all my heart.
