RECITATION BEFORE THE TIKKUN RACHEL AND TIKKUN LEAH:

Psalms Chapter 102

14 Thou wilt arise, and have compassion upon Zion; for it is time to be gracious unto her, for the appointed time is come.

Psalms Chapter 137

5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

Psalms Chapter 79

אֱלֹהִים, בָּאוּ גוֹיִם בְּנַחֲלָתֶךָ–    טִמְּאוּ, אֶת הֵיכַל קָדְשֶׁךָ;

1 A Psalm of Asaph. {N}
O God, the heathen are come into Thine inheritance; they have defiled Thy holy temple; {N}
they have made Jerusalem into heaps.

CONCLUSION OF TIKKUN RACHEL:

Isaiah Chapter 52

3 Why boastest thou thyself of evil, O mighty man? The mercy of God endureth continually.

TIKKUN LEAH:

Psalms Chapter 42

ד  הָיְתָה-לִּי דִמְעָתִי לֶחֶם,    יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה;

4 My tears have been my food day and night, {N}
while they say unto me all the day: ‘Where is thy God?’
