The house is burning and we must put out the fire.
When we first speak to people, we must only explain the nature, i.e., to show how much everything is connected and how everything depends one on the other. We can rely on the explanations of the scientists, sociologists, politicians, and other factors, etc. The main thing is that people will get the impression that the solution is in the connection.
