What Is the Degree One Should Achieve in Order Not to Have to Reincarnate?

Article 10, 1984

Question: What is the degree one should achieve in order not to have to reincarnate?

It is written in Gate of Reincarnations (p 10b), “All of the children of Israel must reincarnate until they are completed with all the NRNHY. However, most people do not have all five parts called NRNHY, but only Nefesh, which is from Assiya.” This means that each one should correct only his part and the root of his soul, and nothing more. By that, he completes what he must correct.

The thing is that we have to know that all of the souls extend from the soul of Adam HaRishon, for after he sinned in the sin of the Tree of Knowledge, his soul divided into 600,000 souls. This means that the one light that Adam HaRishon had, which The Zohar called Zihara Ila’a [upper brightness], which he had in the Garden of Eden at once, spreads into numerous pieces.

It is written in the book Panim Masbirot [Welcoming Face] (p 56), “Once good and bad have been mingled (meaning after the sin), a big structure was made for the Klipot [shells] as they have the strength to grip to holiness. To keep from them, the light of the seven days of creation was divided into very small pieces from which the Klipot cannot suckle due to their smallness.

“For example, a king wanted to send a large number of gold coins to his son overseas, but all of his countrymen were thieves and swindlers, and he did not have one loyal messenger. What did he do? He divided, he broke all the coins into pennies, and sent them through many messengers, so that the joy of stealing would not be worth blemishing the glory of the kingship.”

In this way, through an order of times in many souls, it is possible, through the illumination of the days, to scrutinize all the holy sparks that were robbed by the Klipot due to the sin of the tree of knowledge.

The meaning of many souls is division into inner lights, and many days means division into outer lights. And each penny accumulates into the amount of great light with which Adam HaRishon sinned, and then will be the end of correction.

It follows that each one is born with only a tiny part of the soul of Adam HaRishon. When he corrects his part, he no longer needs to reincarnate. Therefore, one can correct only that which belongs to his part. It is written about it in the book, Tree of Life, by the Ari, “There is not a day that is like another, or a moment that is like another; there is not a person who is like another, and the Helbona [resin] will correct what the Levona [incense] will not correct. Rather, each one must correct that which belongs to his part.”

However, we must know that each person who is born has the work of choice, for one is not born righteous, as our sages said (Nidah, 16b), and these are their words: “Rabbi Hanina Ben Papa said, ‘That angel appointed over pregnancy is called Laila [night]. He takes a drop, places it before the Creator, and says to Him, ‘Lord of the world, what shall become of this drop? A mighty one or a weakling, a wise or a fool, wealthy or poor?’ But wicked or righteous he did not say.’”

This means that one is not born righteous, as he did not say, “righteous or poor.” Rather, this is given to man’s choice. According to each one’s labor in Torah and Mitzvot [commandments], so he is rewarded with cleansing his heart and correcting that which he must according to the root of his soul, and then he is completed.

The First Degree in Which a Man Is Born

It is written in The Zohar (Mishpatim, 4:11 in the Sulam): “Come and see. When a person is born, he is given a soul from the side of the beast, the side of purity, the side of those who are called holy Ofanim, meaning from the world of Assiya. If he merits more, he is given Ruach from the side of holy animals, meaning from the side of Yetzira. If he merits more, he is given Neshama from the side of the throne, meaning from the world of Beria. If he merits more, he is given Nefesh in the way of Atzilut. If he merits more, he is given Ruach de Atzilut from the side of the middle pillar, and he is called a “son of the Creator,” as it is written, “You are the sons of the Lord your God.” If he merits more, he is given Neshama, which is Bina, of which it was said, the whole Neshama (soul) will praise the Lord, and the name HaVaYaH is completed in them.

Thus, the completion of the soul is when he has NRN from BYA and NRN from Atzilut. This is the completion that Adam HaRishon had before the sin. Only after the sin he descended from his degree and his soul divided into 600,000 souls.

Because of it, a person’s spirituality is called Neshama [soul], even when he has only Nefesh de Nefesh, since there is a rule: whenever we speak of some discernment, we speak of the uppermost discernment. And because the uppermost discernment of a person is the degree of Neshama, in general, we always refer to man’s spirituality by the name, Neshama.

However, although each person is born in the smallest degree, they said (see Gate of Reincarnations, p 11b), “Every person can be as Moses, if he wishes to cleanse his works, since he can take another, higher spirit, from the height of Yetzira, and also a Neshama from the height of Beria.” By that you will also understand the famous matter in the words of our sages, that the spirits of the righteous, or their souls, come and become impregnated in a person, in what is called impregnation to assist him in the work of the Creator.

It is also presented in the Sulam (Introduction of the Book of Zohar, p 93), and these are its words: “That thing of the donkey driver is the assistance to the souls of the righteous, which is sent to them from Above in order to raise them from degree to degree. Were it not for this assistance that the Creator sends to the righteous, they would not be able to exit their degree and rise higher. Therefore, the Creator sends each and every righteous a high soul from Above—to each according to his merit and degree—which assists him on his way. And this is called, ‘the impregnation of the soul of the righteous,’ and it is called, ‘the revealing of the souls of the righteous.’”

It follows that when we say that there is no generation in which there is none such as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, it does not mean that they were born this way and they have no choice. Rather, these are people who exert in walking on the path of truth, and make the effort they have to make. These people always receive help from Above through the impregnation of the soul of the righteous. That is, they receive the strength to rise up the upper degrees.

It follows that everything that is given from Above is as assistance, but not without any work and choice.

And the persistence of the world is through these righteous who extend abundance from Above, and by that there is persistence to the world.

Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 10, 1984. What Is the Degree One Should Achieve in Order Not to Have to Reincarnate?

Reading Article. (01:49) “What Is the Degree One Should Achieve in Order Not to Have to Reincarnate?”

1. S. (14:42) He started the article with a question, what degree a person should reach to not have to reincarnate and then he gives a very broad view of Adam HaRishon, the sin, the shattering, the souls but what’s the answer to the question?

R. A person should reach a state where he reaches his root.

S. There’s the rest of the souls and Adam HaRishon.

R. Yes there are many degrees and states but each and every one should reach his root.

S. Maybe a different question, what does it mean to reincarnate because I understand there’s also work afterwards, the impregnation of the soul of the righteous, so what does it mean to reincarnate?

R. Reincarnate means to go through different states in his path from the state that he’s in until the state that he needs to be in, it’s very simple.

S. “Should be in” is him or the soul of Adam HaRishon?

R. No, the soul of Adam HaRishon is some sort of general state that includes within it all of the souls, that’s the soul of Adam HaRishon but each and everyone should reach his root in the soul of Adam HaRishon.

S. There’s no work afterwards so that everyone will reach the soul of that Adam HaRishon?

R. If each one reaches his root in the soul of Adam HaRishon that is the complete end of correction.

S. If only one reached?

R. That’s certainly not enough.

S. He would still have to reincarnate?

R. It’s not that he needs to reincarnate but he assists others in reaching it.

S. To reincarnate is until his root and from there he assists others?

R. Yes.

2. S. (17:00) Before the end of correction a person needs to achieve Dvekut or scrutinize all the holy sparks?

R. By that he reaches Dvekut, adhesion.

S. If he merits more he’s given the Nefesh, if he merits more he’s given Ruach; does it matter from what degree a person scrutinizes the holy sparks?

R. What do you mean it doesn’t matter? He has to scrutinize all of the sparks that to begin with exist in his soul following the sin of the tree of knowledge.

S. Then he merits NRNHY before the final correction?

R. How can it be the end of correction without a person correcting everything?

S. That’s what I’m asking, it seems like there’s in order to receive that each and every person has and he corrects what he’s given but the degree that he merits it’s not clear, what is that degree?

R. He attains the root of his soul.

S. In his correction a person tries to raise his desires from in order to receive to in order to bestow, what does it mean that a soul impregnates in the person?

R. That he’s already rewarded with receiving the upper light that belongs to his soul and to hold on to the upper light so that it shines within him.

S. Each time a new soul impregnates in him?

R. Well that portion that he receives each time is called attaining his soul.

3. S. (19:05) What is the last sentence that the persistence of the world is through the righteous who extend abundance from above?

R. There are such souls that connect the Creator with the created beings and they specifically draw the abundance from the Creator, they pass the abundance from the Creator to the created beings, that’s their role and by this they give contentment to the Creator.

4. S. (20:00) What does it mean that a person only corrects his part?

R. His part in the shattering of Adam HaRishon, that each and everyone has his part and he has to correct his part and he’s not responsible for the rest of the broken vessel.

S. Still we are working on incorporation?

R. That’s true but by correcting himself he assists the correction of all the other vessels or parts.

S. The fact that we learn that a person develops out of envy and he sees what the others have and this gives him more desire, is that not relevant?

R. No.

S. He never leaves his path of the root of his soul?

R. Right.

5. S. (21:06) To continue the question, each of us needs to reach the degree of Moses. If we say we have each one’s unique root of the soul but it also goes through Moses, how does it work?

R. I don’t know, that I don’t know yet. We have to go through apparently that special soul that ties everyone together and is capable of helping everyone and it operates for everyone which is called the soul of Moses but I can’t say more than that.

6. S. (21:52) What does it mean that he writes most people don’t have the five parts which are called NRNHY but only Nefesh from Assiya, meaning that not all people need to attain NRNHY?

R. That’s right, each one should reach the root of his soul.

S. How do we say that ultimately we come to a quality?

R. It’s through incorporation, through connection and incorporation, there are many things to that.

7. S. (22:41) What causes a reincarnation to end or to begin, does it influence us in the work?

R. It is possible to begin an incarnation only on the condition that your time has come and you can enter the general corrections. To finish the incarnation it’s only when you reach the root of your soul in Adam HaRishon.

8. S. (23:25) It is said that people who made an effort to walk the path of truth and give the effort they need to give, these people always receive help from above by impregnation of the soul of the righteous; by this they receive the strength to rise in upper degrees. What is the impregnation of the righteous soul?

R. Impregnation of the soul of the righteousness is when a person begins to feel that there is an additional force within him beyond what he feels and he can work with it. Now he feels that he has an additional force, this is called impregnation of the soul of the righteous and more than that it’s not worthwhile, it will only confuse you.

S. What he describes here is the final correction?

R. No it’s along the way.

S. I’m saying when he comes to complete his soul.

R. When he comes to complete his soul you can say it’s the end of the individual, end of correction of his soul but it could be far away from the general end of correction.

S. It’s not NRNHY? Is that what’s called the seventh millennium?

R. It’s not yet the seventh millennia, the seventh millennia is the general degree.

9. S. (25:14) I just wanted to ask about this principle that each one corrects only his part.

R. How else can it be because this is what awakens within him, this broken deficiency.

S. What is his part, what exactly does each one correct?

R. Nobody knows where it comes from but clearly it’s from the shattering, from the general shattering. In each one there are sparks that he should correct.

S. When we start moving we start as a single soul which then becomes separated to many pieces?

R. When do we attain it as a single soul?

S. At the beginning of creation, that’s what he writes to us.

R. At the beginning of creation that’s true but then there is a shattering.

S. Then it’s each one to himself?

R. Well, if he’s not connected to others, if it’s just him by himself but usually everyone is connected to everyone in good and also in the bad.

S. Once the shattering happens and each one works on his correction, what does his correction, how does it influence everything else because we are always talking about this connection so why is it specifically that way that a person needs to go all that way in order to correct his part?

R. The fact that he works on the correction of everyone on his part is considered that he has corrected his part.

S. It’s still not a correction of everything?

R. A correction of everyone means that everyone will go through the same states.

S. If everyone goes through the same states, how does everyone have his own personal correction, it sounds like it’s the same root?

R. One has to reveal the general lack for correction and that each one will discover such a deficiency and they’ll all connect, they’ll all become connected. This will be the general correction.

10. S. (27:42) How does my correction influence the others correctly? My part, how does it influence others in the system?

R. You’re all parts of one soul so certainly if each one corrects his part he causes the others to also awaken to correct their part.

11. S. (28:13) Can we perhaps read the article again and maybe you can explain it to us as we go?

R. Yes, we can do that.

12. S. (28:27) Incorporation is an action of our own?

R. Yes, well both ours and also it’s from above.

S. Now, what is a good incorporation on our part?

R. Incorporation means that we become incorporated in each other and through mutual help we cause the correction of everyone.

S. We are now reading, the reader’s going to read, we’re going to incorporate with him and what do we do internally?

R. I don’t know what it means to become incorporated with the reader, we need to become incorporated in our desires in order to bring ourselves to connection.

S. The reading should be in the background?

R. Yes.

13. S. (29:51) When a person corrects his part, does the physical body continue to live, how does it work? What happens when a person corrects his soul, what happens to the body, the physical body?

R. Nothing happens, there is no difference in our body between righteous and wicked if you are talking about the physical body. There is the Guf, the body of the soul which is the will to receive and that will to receive attains the Creator’s relation to it which is called the inner light of the soul.

14. S. (31:00) What is reincarnation of the souls? I heard from you in the past that it’s not just about the death and birth of the person, when a person starts studying Kabbalah he goes through many, many reincarnations. Is that correct and what does it mean to reincarnate?

R. It tells us that a person has completed a certain correction on a certain level and he rises to a higher level and in that way more and more and more.

15. S. (31:53) How to know or feel if we are corrected?

R. To feel if we’re corrected or not, we can do it only through our relation to the friends. If all of our desires are wide open towards them and we want to include them in all of our desires, meaning in all of our soul then by that we truly want to be connected without any limits it is considered that we already reach the correction of our soul.

16. S. (32:52) When a person corrects himself does he leave the work? Sometimes we see that the friends leave the path, how to look at that?

R. No, a person who corrects his path, corrects his soul, he doesn’t quit the path it’s actually the opposite. He is in entire circles and he corrects his incorporation in higher souls.

17. S. (33:51) A person in whom the soul’s impregnated, does he know about it?

R. Yes, of course.

S. How does it feel?

R. That he has a greater desire, a new desire and he’s willing to invest forces in it in order to actualize it.

18. S. (34:22) What is the sensitivity of the heart of the righteous?

R. It means the sensitivity of the heart of the righteous according to his spiritual degree, as much as he feels everyone and is willing to work for them.

19. S. (35:02) What do I need to do if I can’t find the point of contact with the article?

R. Read it even a thousand times, this is what Rabash recommends.

20. S. (35:37) It is said that the persistence of the world is through the righteous who extend abundance from above and by that there is persistence to the world. What does that mean persistence to the world?

R. The world exists, meaning that everything exists through the upper light, that it connects everyone and gives everyone the feeling of connection.

21. S. (36:19) It says here that we have to achieve perfection in every NRNHY to not reincarnate, what does that mean?

R. It means to correct your Kli, your vessel and fill it completely in the light that it had before the shattering of the vessel.

S. What does it mean to correct my Kli to the shattering, it’s a common Kli?

R. Your incorporation in everyone.

S. What does it mean that I reincarnate again?

R. You reincarnate.

22. S. (37:16) It is said in the article that a person is not born a righteous so what kind of person is given choice, the one who came to Kabbalah?

R. Yes.

S. Again he didn’t choose, he was just given that and that’s it.

R. To choose doesn’t depend on the height of the attainment or the beginning of the process.

23. S. (38:02) What is our corporeal body and how does it contribute to our spirituality?

R. Our physical body is not related to our spiritual body, it is simply flesh and blood that gives us an illusion of how we exist in this world, it’s some sort of a projection of our existence in the spiritual world.

24. S. (39:45) If we talk about the completion of our soul, of our soul part, why is it that we talk about only the Neshama and we don’t talk about Haya and Yechida? So what do we do with those two lights? So it feels as if our soul is not complete yet of the lights?

R. That is true that it needs to reach Neshama, this is the degree of Bina. It’s when a person corrects all of his vessels so that he does not receive in order to receive but rather he reaches the degree of Bina, and later on he already has two more degrees to receive in order to bestow on the individual degree and in the general.

25. S. (40:51) How does the Ten hasten the reincarnation of the soul?

R. These are questions that are not for you yet.

26. S. (41:14) What is that freedom of choice that the article speaks about given that everything comes from the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. It says here righteous or a wicked, he did not say so what is the choice that a person has?

R. It’s as though we had a choice to be wicked or righteous.

27. S. (41:52) I wanted to ask: a person needs an environment in order to work, so a soul that was corrected is taken, its environment is taken care of, is there a high probability that in Bnei Baruch that there are people who got here in order to assist?

R. Yes, there are many things to that, we’ll talk about it on the path.

28. S. (42:38) In the soul of Adam HaRishon that was shattered and scattered in the worlds ABYA, are there souls that don’t clothe into this world at all?

R. There are none.

S. How?

R. How, that we will learn later. Ask about something that is necessary for you, otherwise it’s not a question.

29. S. (43:09)The root of the soul is something individual?

R. Yes.

S. Is it expressed in some tendencies of the person in this world?

R. No.

S. You can’t know if a person has a tendency towards science or something?

R. No, it’s irrelevant.

S. Sometimes there’s a feeling that you meet a person on the path and you feel a very deep connection. Does that have to do with some common root?

R. No.

S. Is there a root for the Ten?

R. Yes, but we can’t discover it yet.

S. What do we need to do with this concept of the root of the soul? How do we research it in order to correct ourselves better?

R. To correct himself as well as possible in his connection with the friends.

S. He doesn’t need to engage in that root of his soul?

R. This is considered that he’s engaging in it, it’s not yet the root of his soul but he’s engaging in it, he’s getting closer to it.

30. S. (44:25) What does a person discover in the root of his soul?

R. Each one discovers his unique role in the general soul.

S. His perception widens, expands?

R. Yes, of course.

S. That he can see the entire system in the root he discovers the letters, Otiot?

R. I don’t want to get into that.

S. The vessels that he discovers in the root of his soul?

R. He doesn’t yet discover the vessels yet, he sees things in general.

S. The article said something about the expansion or spreading the light of the soul to others?

R. Maybe he sees a little bit in general, in the general light of Nefesh.

S. How can we disseminate or spread the light of Neshama?

R. We can’t disseminate yet or spread it, we don’t have the vessels for it.

S. The vessels are waiting for us in the root of our soul?

R. Yes.

S. This is what we asked for, the vessels that we will discover in the root of our soul?

R. Yes.

31. S. (46:14) In the first line in the article Rabash writes, question: What is the degree one should achieve in order to not to have to reincarnate?

R. Yes.

S. What is he asking really?

R. How in the same incarnation that I’m in right now can I carry out what is upon me?

S. What does it mean that he will not have to reincarnate?

R. That now he will complete what is up to him.

S. What does it mean to reincarnate?

R. That he will not have to correct his incarnation again but rather he completes it now, his entire incarnation. What is incarnation or reincarnation; it’s his entire broken vessel.

32. S. (47:30) How to do what is up to me, what is upon me, how to do what is upon me, how to do it, what is upon me?

R. It’s by what they say, it’s through the study, the work in the Ten, connection in the Ten, prayer, all of these things bring a person to correction, to a connection with the souls of the friends until together they draw light that is sufficient for the general correction.

S. This is the work of all of us?

R. Yes, everyone and also individually.

S. Each one has unique work of his own also?

R. Yes.

S. How does one know what it is?

R. What becomes revealed in his desire, actually it’s his individual problem that becomes revealed.

S. Each one of us has many desires, how does one know that the desire that has appeared in him right now is a desire which is related to his correction, to what it is he must do?

R. Well, we study that from the articles, what is it that we have to do and how do we sort our desires and connect them together and elevate them to the Creator.

S. Let me try again. How does one know what is his role in the system?

R. His role in the system is to cause the connection of the entire system.

S. How does he know in what particular form for him, he has to do it?

R. It’s by coming closer to connection which is as complete as possible, by this he expresses himself in this connection.

33. S. (50:15) By not correcting my part I create a clog, I harm the friends?

R. Yes.

34. S. (50:32) I’ll read a short excerpt: It turns out that each one who is born is born only with a small part from the soul of Adam HaRishon. When he corrects his part, he no longer has to reincarnate again. Therefore a person cannot correct only what belongs to his part. It is written about it in the “Tree of Life” by the ARI, that a day is not like another and a moment is not like another and no person is like another and the Helbona [resin] corrects what the Levona [incense] does not correct but each one has to correct what pertains to his part. I can’t put it together, I don’t see this approach and the relation that I need to have with respect to this excerpt.

R. You will start and see how it opens up to you by itself.

S. I’ll start okay. How can I start in the best possible way?

R. That you want to connect with all the friends and help them in whatever they need and by that you actually correct yourself.

35. S. (51:51) We many times we give this example or you gave us this example that you were suffering from this skin disease, that nevertheless the suffering of the beast does have spiritual benefit for our development, so where is this boundary where we say, “Oh, this is just a physical thing, it’s a beast, let it go away,” where is it related to spirituality?

R. No, we have to deal with and treat anything that distracts us from the spiritual treatment even if it’s a corporeal illness.

S. You told us how one time your body was hurting, you were next to Rabash and he said, “You have no idea how much you’re gaining from it.” What’s the gain, how is it related?

R. The gain is from how the general will to receive called body is in pain.

S. That’s what I’m asking, where is this cut: where this is physical, corporeal, ignore it, versus this actually contributes to your correction?

R. It’s the same thing, either to, to deal with it or to ignore it or put strength into it, still taking care of it.

S. Okay, so we’re sitting here in the Ten, we’re trying to think about it, what part of us is related to spirituality? I don’t know from our prayer or ..?

R. The desire.

36. S. (53:33) I heard you say before that here we connect our desires together and we elevate them to the Creator, so these two stages I wanted to scrutinize them please. What does it mean to connect our desires together if all of our desires are different, even contradictory, what does it mean to connect them together?

R. We are of the same species in nature and we have the same desires, then each and every one, these desires awakens some different emotions; that doesn’t matter.

S. To connect together the desires because they don’t really connect the desires, so to elevate them to the Creator means to connect our yearnings and let him connect or..?

R. Each and every desire is an opportunity to pass on pleasure to the Creator.

S. Every desire of the friend?

R. Of the friend, of mine, it doesn’t matter.

S. Or mine, every desire I have is an opportunity to give contentment to the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. Wait a minute, we’re talking about the desires of the friends?

R. Friends, too.

S. The friends, too, okay, so this whole package, this collection of desires, I elevate it to the Creator. What does it mean to raise these desires to the Creator?

R. To rise to the Creator means that you ask the Creator about these desires you wish to get answers for them and connect to the friends by them.

S. What do you mean you ask the Creator, is that an action?

R. Yes, I can’t explain this yet we still lack some common understanding, yes.

37. S. (55:55) Is there a dependency between the souls on such a level that one soul cannot begin its correction before another soul has been corrected?

R. Correct, there is such a thing.

38. S. (56:15) I do very much want this to be my last incarnation. I don’t want to reincarnate.

R. We know that.

S. I want to ask: if I change now, I stop criticizing, I stop complaining, I annul completely, a great change for me, I just keep silent until the end of my life, I sit here silent and I don’t ask questions I don’t send any emails, I agree with everything until the end of my incarnation. Is that enough for me to not reincarnate?

R. Yes, if you keep quiet and nullify yourself completely this will certainly bring progress and correction to your soul.

S. All the way, I won’t have to reincarnate again?

R. You won’t need anything, let’s see.

39. S. (57:07) I didn’t understand your answer to the friend. What is this common desire that we raise to the Creator? How do we work on it so that it becomes MAN?

R. If we can connect in our desires together and we raise them as a single desire to the Creator this greatly strengthens our prayer.

S. And in this, is this MAN?

R. Yes.

40. S. (57:44) Does a person go through his life and he reincarnates, he comes back to spirituality, he made a mistake, he corrects it, he makes a correction and he feels that he comes back because he didn’t correct?

R. His feeling doesn’t mean anything, there’s nothing to talk about, there’s nothing to ask about.

41. S. (58:33) You said that in order to feel that we are corrected we have to include all of the desires of the friends. How do we do it if the friend in the Ten has a hidden desire for connection, he doesn’t come to our meetings and..?

R. He has a desire, you just have to join his desire.

S. My correction: what does it depend on that I will correct my relation to him in spite of the external expression of it?

R. Your correction depends on the extent to which you nullify yourself to connect with him to a single desire.

42. S. (59:44) If I understood correctly when a person rises to spirituality he pulls with him the souls that are most connected to him?

R. Let’s say so.

S. The question is: if they are not yet ready for those who are close to him, these are the ones to begin with were established as closest to him or is it according to equivalence of form?

R. Those were similar to him in their readiness, those that are ready.

43. S. (01:00:30) A reincarnation, is it something that is an option for the soul, something that is necessary, mandatory?

R. Say it again.

R. Every soul must reincarnate until it reaches its perfection.

44. S. (01:01:16) If everything exists within me, the whole of reality, everything is inside of me. How can the Ten influence me so that we can reach our spiritual goal?

R. It obligates you to achieve the general connection.

45. S. (01:01:43) If let’s say the root of the soul of a person is Ruach that he has reached the degree of Nefesh, a smaller one, his progress is already conscious or not? Is he aware or not?

R. I can’t say, I can’t say, it depends on many conditions.

46. S. (01:02:22) What happens with people who die with their will to receive?

R. The will to receive doesn’t die and people don’t die, bodies die, and instead of them a deficiency appears in other bodies. What’s the difference between waking up in the morning and feeling a deficiency or you die and your deficiency appears in a different body? There is no problem with that.

47. S. (01:03:28) My desire for spirituality exists in the connection with the friends, in my concern for them?

R. Yes.

48. S. (01:03:41) How can I include all my desires that are not related to spirituality in my work?

R. How can I..?

S. Include all the desires that are not related to spirituality in my work?

R. There are many desires that are unrelated to spirituality. Why, why attract them? I didn’t understand you there.

S. If I have corporeal desires unrelated to spirituality, how do we use these desires in our work, or maybe they’re not related to our spirituality at all?

R. We try not to use them first of all. Afterwards, we’ll learn how to take care of them, too.

S. Can we say that we should only focus on a single desire which is the point in our heart, only towards spirituality?

R. We have to see the desires in the heart and try to connect them all together into a single desire.

49. S. (01:05:25) How can we make it so that friends will not quit the path and make our environment encompass and include all the friends?

R. We have to discuss this more and give confidence to each and everyone that he is in the place where he develops his soul from day to day and in such a way he advances toward, in this way he advances toward the eternal expression of himself, and he comes to a state where he begins to feel all the souls interconnected and bestowing to each other, and at the center of that appears the Creator.

50. S. (01:06:56) Can you please explain, you said that the suffering of the physical body also promotes us towards correction?

R. Again.

S. How the suffering of the physical body is beneficial for the correction?

R. In that we escape the suffering and this is how we get closer to the quality of bestowal, forcefully.

51. S. (01:07:48) What is the role of the group in the correction or helping to correct the root of the friend’s root? Each one has to correct his own root, so what’s the role of the group here? How can it help one?

R. The role of the group is to attract the friend as much as possible, pull the friend towards correction and raise him higher than the beastly discernments of this world and thus, help him take care of the soul.

52. S. (01:08:30) If I will activate my will to receive in order to become incorporated in the friend’s desire, is this how I will correct the root of my soul?

R. Yes.

S. Is this an act of bestowing to the Creator?

R. Yes.

R. Yes.

R. That’s good that we study when most of the world is asleep, that’s what Kabbalists recommend.
