Lesson 7: Asking the Creator to Fill the Place between Us

1.Rav’s Introduction: There is one’s relation to the place, meaning the place between us, and one’s relation to one’s friend. First, we have to arrange the relationships among us, and from there, our relation to the place. The place between us is empty, to awaken us, to connect among us, and to discover that this place is not empty, but there is that relation that we want to be revealed among us, hatred or love, rejection or attraction, accordingly we build it, this is why it is written “you have made me,” because we seemingly build this concept of the Creator. We reveal it, between us according to our desire, by this we are called created beings, free, and can determine the force that will fill the relationships between us by ourselves. In this way, we discover a good or bad Creator, and ourselves in a good or bad world. Everything is in our hands, and everything is with respect to that place which pushes us apart, or it could be the opposite, it connects us. The Creator is called a place the commandments between man and man, or the commandments between man and the Creator. We have to fill up that place between us which the Creator deliberately created with a desire to receive the power of rejection, egoistic power of rejection, so each one, where the egoistic will to receive is revealed, it is the power of the Creator, who is revealed this way, opposite in order to stimulated us to provoke us, to draw us towards correction. We always work basically with the Creator to the extent He is revealed between us in the form of rejection or attraction, and from this we have all commandments between man and man, and between man and the Creator, because I see friends around me, and I perform all kinds of activities between and with them in order to connect among us, by this I come to perform actions between me and the place, the Creator, so I discover Him as filling the place between us, and to the extent of my success in connecting with the friends, I discover that the place between us becomes from a place that is inanimate, still, to a place of the upper force, of attraction, of connection, of love, the highest name of the Creator, the upper one is called love. By this, we arise to the final highest level of connection between us, love. This is why our whole attention should be given not to ourselves, but on the contrary, to what is between us. The relationship between us, the place between us. That relationship, the place that currently seems to us as empty, we will later discover that it is not, it is the highest place, the most special, it is the place that engenders us, that operates on us, that brings us closer. This is why from relations between man and man, we come to relations between man and the Creator. Until that place between us is revealed as filled with the light of love, this is how we come to correction.

Therefore, the word place becomes a very important crucial word, a substantial word, so we have to pay attention and notice that there is only we, egoistic, isolated and currently the place between us pushes us apart and begins to play with us. How far we are, how close we are, it gives us all kinds of manners of relationships between us, and it is all done through the place, the Creator who is changing among us, who is playing with us in this way, is actually awakening in us all kinds of manners and forms of relations, and by this He provokes us, and stimulates us, arouses us, from among ourselves to Him. This is also what will happen in the correction of the world, whereby saying ourselves seeing ourselves as being in the ego, in great hatred for each other, and we are tired already and can’t live in this anymore, we will start relating to, because we will have no choice, we’ll start relating to the relationships between us, to the place between us differently, and this is how humanity will also approach it. What we are asking, in the end, is for the Creator, which is the power of connection in and love, this quality that does not exist in our world, for it to be, which constantly raises us, by pushing us away further, and further away from each other, making us hate each other more and more, so will begin to notice how important is the relationship between us, and in this way we will discover that the place between us is a living place, a special place, a place that is filled with the upper force. It is wise, feeling, and there, in the distance between us, is the whole of the spiritual world, the plan of creation, the purpose of creation, it is all in what creates the distance between us, and we have to pay attention to it that all of our work in the end is to not emotionally, not physically, or emotionally, to close the gaps between us in all kinds of ways and manners, so that we, by this, will be able to reveal the Creator completely, and the revelation of the Creator is from the opposite degrees that we can describe Him. It is being revealed as rejecting force, a force that goes against us, until we shift to the power that helps, that pulls us closer that connects until that power of love is present and fills the whole world. This is really the whole change, shift in the work that we have to do from stage to stage and this is how we discover Him. This is why we have to pay attention not to what it is in each of us, but to what it is between us. How we relate to the distances and the relationships between us, and how we turn to that place, which is currently empty, that we want to discover that it is not an empty place, but a place that is filled with connection and love.

Lesson #7 Asking the Creator to fill the place between us. That is all we need. It turns out that we grow smaller among us and the Creator fills up the distances between us more and more with connections to the point where we don’t feel that we exist at all in any kind of distance, but everything becomes connected with great congruence between one another. The closer we come to our corrections, we will see that there is no place between us, that the Creator, who filled up the place in the spiritual degrees, is being revealed along with us, and there is really no difference between the Creator and the created beings. Well that’s already a very high sublime state. We will start from our place.

2. S. (12:43) Where to correctly invest in order to attain the place between us?

R. In the place only, only in the place. We should place all of our attention to the place between us, meaning the relationship between us. 3. S. (14:56) Why do we see that the place between us is empty, why is it actually full just in a negative manner?

S. So on what level is our connection between us today compared to where we need to reach?

R. This is for you to discover, it is for you to show, show the essence of the connection, you determine it, this is why the Creator is called come and see, come and see you have made me. It all depends on the power of the exercises, the pace of the exercises, and creating the connection between us, to come from the love of the people, to love of the Creator. The direction is clear, now everything depends on the number of corrections, operations that we do. This is why we are approaching the congress, from which we want to perform real actions of connection that will be as powerful as possible. In this work, we are working mutually in connection with the Creator although he is hidden and not felt, but the more we want to connect among ourselves in order to build the place for revealing Him, to please Him, there is no more and greater work in all the worlds, in all the times in all the states, only this. To reveal the connection of love between us and the Creator in order to bring Him contentment. That is all we need to do.

4. S. (21:33) What are we lacking in order to feel together that the Creator is between us and arranging everything in love?

R. What we are missing is helping one another. We will begin to understand that I can awaken the field between us because in me I am alone. But outside of me, I can exist only in the connection between us. The connection between us has to be as in ten Sefirot. It’s not important if we know or don’t know what the ten10 Sefirot are. It is a connection where we are in this disposition towards each other. Then it’s each one towards his friend and that’s how we build the network of connection between us. The threads of these connections if we come to some form of bestowal in them. The minimal, the very minimal. In this we can already feel the establisher of the network, the upper force that created and did and sustains this network. Then we come to a state where from the love of people, connection in this network we come to a connection with the Creator. We begin to discover in this network besides revealing the network itself, but in the meantime also in the degrees of still, vegetative, when you have some qualities in the animate until we begin to discover in this mechanism That we discover that it is our source of our life and it will be revealed.

5. S. (23:47) There was such an intense beginning of the lesson, what is the connection between existence from absence to that same term of this space that you’ve opened up so qualitatively?

R. We are speaking about the person. The revelation of the Creator to a person is only through the vessels. When we say the Creator is revealed at the power of Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya and Yechida, we are talking about the power of revealing the force of connection and love in our vessels between us. Previously they were revealed as egoistic vessels, vessels of rejection, afterwards through our corrections in the efforts and prayers we correct those vessels and shift them into a relation of love. This is how we discover the levels of connection, the essence of connection between us from hatred to love and all the states we go from hatred to love. All those states are kept and remain, they remain as Reshimot, as records, so in the end when we come to some gap between hatred and love, we begin to feel that this is called Bo Reh, come and see the essence of the feeling that is revealed between us. All the revelation is only inside the vessel but in the vessel, that’s been through several times of darkness and light distance and hatred, remoteness. connection, nearing and love. This is how we discover everything is in the relations between us in the relations that we want to prove between us we also discover the source of this relationship thee more internal force which afterwards we discover as Yechida one unique and unified which is the upper force the Creator from that there is ‘None else besides him.’ It’s a matter of feeling when you come to it you understand what it is about. 6. S. (26:39) The Creator restricted himself to black dot and revealed a space for us and what has filled the same expanse that the Creator opened up for us? It’s not matter right?

R. The distance is filled with anti-Creator the lack a deficiency which we reveal as the egoistic force where the Creator kind of inverts himself like a garment that you turn inside out. From face to back it’s the back of the creator so when we get the feeling of this back this posterior we call it darkness, shell(Klipot ) and all those names, and in degrees of still vegetative, animate and speaking or root 1 2 3 4. In this you have all kinds of bad states throughout the ladder, opposite facing the good states. In between those states you can feel and you can get a feeling and get tools of sensations, instruments for sensations because there is only the advantage of the light from within the darkness so the lights in the darkness are words but nothing is revealed unless through its opposite. This is how we have to advance not fear all the negative things. Every time we fall, we have to understand that there has to be a stronger connection between us here. The Creator who is revealed in this connection, ( he is not revealed yet) maybe but he still exists. It will help us and pull us forward. This is how we need to equip ourselves in advance with the presence of the Creator between us more and more. To depict him more and more to the extent that we notice his presence in all of our actions, and all of our thoughts, and especially in how we can pull him and draw him through our prayer through our request. Here begins the practical work for real

R. When we read an article well certainly not me but Rabash or even more than that Baal HaSulam. We read it straight through and also word by word and in the Connection by the words. We want to feel it from within the inner flow of it. This is how we advance towards the essence of the words of the writer. That’s what we need to do. I don’t know, just repeat and repeat several times. Repeat the article or the excerpts and these excerpts gradually through all the repetitions, they come in, they penetrate and begin to live in us more and more just like an animal. Living.

S. Can we be in sharpness in each and every moment of the lesson or is it irrational that it comes and goes?

R. Look, I am sharp. I have thousands of people in front of me. I have to explain to them and I have to give them a lesson. Therefore, I certainly have a relation to the text in front of me and the composer of it. And the group and all that and I am in between them as a conduit as a connector. Each of you is imagining his ten and how he conveys everything he hears and attains from the articles to the friends and for me it is a big mass of people, it is more difficult to keep it as a kind of customer. For you it is easier, you have a number of people friends, each of whom as much as he understands and connects, to the Creator he conveys from the Creator threw himself the emotional feeling, the intellectual understanding everything he can he passes it on to the friends. He himself exists only as conduit. S. If I come out of the lesson without any intellectual discernment, I am empty, is it okay if I was only in this disposition towards the friends without anything intellectual and understandings from the lesson?

R. Mentally intellectually, that’s not considered at all. We are talking about the wisdom of Kabbalah, it’s the wisdom of connection. It doesn’t have to do with the mind at all. The mind has to come afterwards that you enter into practical actions and you’re learning from them and they gather and accumulate by you. like someone gathering experience’s right it’s written there’s none wiser than the experience. That only out of the incidents you go through it emotionally in connection out of this you have experience in these actions, and then you are called wise. There is none the wiser than the experienced. What does that have to do with experience right? You understand? In spirituality experience is not like in this world

9. S. (41:52) What do you do if you can’t come to emotional changes through the study or changes through your relation to connection?

R. Sit and cry.

S. Yes that’s clear but what do you do if?

R. To cry before the Creator, which is the prayer that crying is a very big thing and, in this lack, my soul shall cry a spiritual cry, and thus we prepare ourselves for the reception of the attitude of the Creator that he shall explain to us and understand us. What the Creator doesn’t understand the invites, these states, with this that I feel them and express them to him in return, that’s already something else. That’s what we need.

S. But what determines these emotional changes so our vessels change?

10. S. (44:54) The learning process continues beyond the lesson in our daily meetings, can I ask about that? Every day we meet in the ten twice daily and perform exercises and tasks but there are many tens and many people on duty, changing in every ten. It creates all kinds of formats for those exercises, is it not better to have for everyone to have the same task the same for everyone?

R. That it comes out from each one and each one wants to do it differently, that’s good. Because each one expresses it out of his soul, out of the structure of his soul. On the other hand, what are we doing? I don’t think that we can agree with one another in every word, in every form and manner of connection in preparation for the lesson and so on, we can’t. That’s clear, we’re still not corrected. That our vessels will be mixed with one another then they won’t be important for us because we will entirely understand one another from this there will all be incorporated from everyone. Then everything will be understood and tied with one another and otherwise no. So I don’t say precisely what to do, rather try if you want if you want, all sorts of forms, connections like this or that, this type of preparation to the lesson or that. Ultimately all these things just don’t leave them, rather do them truly from day today, strictly if you decide to change, change, and that’s how it will go. 11. S. (47:52 ) We always say at the lesson that to get closer physically, from this we have to shift to the spiritual level. What is the emotional nearing?

That the Creator is revealed that he stands beyond them, that he draws me to him but the friends are standing in the way. Then I am raising the friends as Rabash writes in his letter, that we feel that there is nothing in the world other than the friends.

S. What does it mean feelings?

R. I don’t know what an emotion is, you can’t explain it, it’s an impression in the vessels, my emotional vessels that in the meantime are vessels of reception, when they will also be vessels of bestowal and in them also feel the sensation. The connection between the vessels, the connection between the vessels is already MAD but between the feelings not just mind without feeling, that’s already a beastly mind.

12. S. (50:38) What is the difference between the friends and the teacher with respect to me? I feel the black point between the friends and the Creator, but I don’t know how to place the border, the border between the friends and the Creator, where are the where did the friends end in the Creator begins?

R. You need to reach it emotionally and imagine to yourself that it’s one, that all the friends together are the vessel in which you reveal the Creator. If you connect them together in some total you will reveal the Creator.

R. No, that’s already room for confusion, I’m not saying that exactly, the friends are the vessel that you’re revealing inside the vessel, that’s the Creator.

13. S. (51:55) What should we do so that here and now we will be corrected?

R. Connection.

14. S. (52:07) My friends in the ten have the same desire but what does it mean that there’s a place between us?

R. What does it mean that the tendencies, the desires will be together with the friends and everyone will connect truly together to the same direction, the same goal, without any difference and you will feel that it is such that you are really in them together. That’s called that you are in one ship or one vessel and then you’ll be ready for revelation by that one force, that the Creator is in sum total the result of this that you reveal in the connection between you.

15. S. (53:04) It is always curious, you mentioned levels of connection, degrees, 1 2 3?

R. The connection between the broken vessels that by restriction, screen and reflected light they are connecting between them as one vessel as one man and one heart and then in such a manner they can be suitable from the side of the vessel to the side of the light, that then fills them, and the same intensity as they connect between them.

16. S. (54:19) S. You previously gave an example how each one should turn themselves into a conduit towards the friends during the lesson. You said how you convey your emotional and intellectual impression, it helps you be focused. How can we who are only listening and turn ourselves into conduits during the lesson, what are we conveying?

R. By thought and desire.

S. How can you keep it during the lesson?

R. By persistence.

S. When I have to pass on the material now that I listen to you and I know I’m teaching tomorrow so it helps me focus and think how I will convey the material, but when I don’t have the results, I am inspiring for in the end it makes it difficult. Maybe you can think of a trick or something that will help us with it?

R. Imagine to yourself that you are once again in connection with the friends and from that will come to you that same sensation or part of it and you’ll also be able to speak to her to your students.

17. S. (55:34) Is the place you talked about a permanent place and what changes is my feeling in the state of my inner force or am I causing the place to change?

20. S. (57:58) how do we come to a real desire for the Creator to fill up the spaces between us because the ego is against this and we try to work on it all the time but it seems that what’s missing is a real desire in the heart?

R. What can you do, what is revealed is revealed, to change what is revealed is only by the change of connection between us.

21. S. (58:28) Can we say in the ten that the place feels empty will this not diminish the importance in the friends?

R. Usually we need to speak about the more advanced state which brings us an impression.

22. S. (58:50) Should we define the place as personal work or should we sometimes talk about it among the friends in the ten?

R. Each shall help his friend both in explanation and realization.

22. S. (59:10) What does it mean that the connection between us should be as in the ten Sefirot which you mentioned before?

R. This we don’t understand yet as much as we bring ourselves near, close to one another we will begin to feel more our essence, the essence of our connection, the form of connection and how we can change it, direct it.

23. S. (59:40) Does the feeling of time and distance in this world change or be replaced with the feeling of the Creator, is this why we say that there’s no time and distance in the spiritual world?

R. Surely it is tied to one another but how, you can say there is a direct and opposite connection we need to learn from action.

24. S. (01:00:10) If I’m really offended by a friend without hatred just a friend I’m insulted, it’s clearly the ego but the ego feels helpless, can prayer help what more can we do?

R. First to ascribe it to the Creator like everything, that in sum total this is what the Creator is doing to me and the friend doesn’t belong to it too much. Rather the Creator plays through the friends he clothes through the friends and that’s how he does with me all sorts of exercises, such that I will rise above my ego and begin to look down at it at least like I looked down at the whole world and everyone and the Creator.

25. S. (01:01:07) Is the state of it is not the smart one who learns, a state we have to learn in the ten, are we dependent on each other in this?

R. This, I need to tell myself that as much as I have the wisdom, a mind, I won’t advance in spirituality from this. In spirituality we advance only out of sensation. Within the sensation I begin to reveal degrees of connection, of attitude, and the entire wisdom of Kabbalah is a concealed wisdom because in the sensation that we speak of, nobody has any beginning, it is a sensation of giving of love, tendency of connection, of action towards the others. So we need for this to make an effort to develop ourselves and learn to get closer.

26. S. (01:02:16) Does the Creator answer us through the friends?

R. Yes of course like it’s written I have learned from all of my friends

27. S. (01:02:27) We are distant from each other, is this about our intentions and what does it mean if our intentions are held by us in one place, what does it mean that they are distant from each other?

R. We are in distance from one another, more correctly to say we are in disconnection from one another, that’s in the best case, or in the negative distance between us, in negative relations between us that each one when he looks at the other and sees that the other one is worse off than him, then he is happy from that. That’s how we are instinctively, automatically. That’s how we see the world. What is worse for others, it’s better for me. Because everything is measured according to relations. What’s theirs and what is mine and if I reach this state of coming closer to the friends, then at least with them I look differently, like my kids, and that’s how we begin to see where else we need to improve our state. (01:07:01) I think everything is written here, meaning to always turn to the Creator from each and every state, doesn’t matter which state, and request only one thing, help us, not me personally, rather us, help us together that we will be able to do something on intention to be able to bestow back to you. That’s it. With all our sensation and mind that we have there is nothing more to do, it is like a baby whatever he has that’s how he acts that’s what he does.

29. S. (01:07:48) From where does it come that the Creator must help us.?

R. We see it from our world like in the relations between parents and kids, we said also in the excerpt is that even though we barely understand anything in them, that’s why Kabbalists write to us in the name of the Creator because they attain him and out of this that they attain him, they can turn to us in the name of the Creator. Such that we, too begin to advance and we’ll see and feel what the Creator feels, what does it mean the Creator? Feels the force of bestowing towards the created beings because we want to rise above our force of reception to the force of bestowal and will reveal the Creator in us and out of this understand and feel what he plans towards us, what is he is performing, deciding, how he is managing us, and that’s called that we have revelation of the Creator. This revelation is towards our correct vessels that we are carrying within us the form of Creator, the form of bestowing and love, and that’s why it’s called this shall be the name of the Creator up on you.

Excerpt 2 Baal HaSulam, Letter No. 52 (01:09:44)

30. R. (01:10:44) Yes, this we are not allowed to forget also that what is in us is first on the degree of the upper light until it settles in the vessel and passes on to the vessel, its absence and then the vessel begins to be impressed from it. Then a person feels that there is a change in him, until he understands the essence of the change, from where, what, why he needs to act and this can be through all the degrees through infinity until that same person, that same group, and begins to work on them. That’s how it happens.

31. S. (01:11:29) In the ten, what is it that we do or we don’t do that would bring the back of the Creator in the ten?

R. I don’t hear what our friends ask and we are all in that same question, Bnei Baruch, whoever is in the lesson, are you with him in that same question or not??

S. I want to know what is it that we do or that we don’t do in the ten that would bring or show the back of the Creator instead of the good side?

R. This that we reveal our present, current state, it doesn’t matter in what manner or form, this already is what the Creator, how he forms us and stabilizes us. That’s it, that’s how he gave birth to our present state in the ten. In this, that we want to change our state, and for what to change? Meaning to what intention? That already depends on us but first we need to receive the fact and accept the fact that what happened now before we are in contact with our current state, it comes from above, it comes to us from above and now we need to arrange it, to organize it, meaning to enter with the Creator in mutual work. Then we begin to think, in what can we change our state connection between us meaning, yes? In what can we improve it in order to come closer to the Creator? We want to arrange our states such that our desires will be connected and directed to the Creator to receive his revelation in order to give him contentment. So we need to be equipped with the screen and an intention back to him, to give him contentment, that is called reflected light and here we can begin actively to realize these matters. Just really like it is written, sometimes I hear why are we not learning TES, what will you get from this that you are learning from not realizing what is written there? First of all we need to know what we need to do, in order that it will open TES and for us it will be like a book, like a tour guide, yes, like a travel book, like a recipe book. That I truly see what I need to do in order to taste and see the matters that are revealed. That is called practical Kabbalah and beforehand, that we are in such forces, and learning it a bit, we cannot approach such practical Kabbalah. It will just confuse us that we are as if already and some spiritual action and spiritual attainment. To relate to the relations between us in order to pass them on to the degree of sensation, we feel good bad come closer farther what for why and so on. Truly. That’s all we need to reach and all the time to make an effort to engage in this. Meaning that over the course of the day, I have no free moment that I am not engaged in how to unite between us, how to improve between us, to bring us closer between us. That by this I reach the revelation of the Creator. So I have time for these things, yes, I can do it with every work, every work that may be. Because it’s on a different level entirely of correction of spiritual vessels with physical work. So there is no moment of man’s life that he cannot be free from intention. Truly not in each and every state.

S. I really needed to hear that thank you so much.

R. I’m also happy that you heard this.

32. S. (01:18:32) He writes here that before I turn to the Creator, He already turned toward me, so where do we meet?

R. If you want to discover him correctly, that is where you meet in your relation to him, this certainly goes through the center of the ten.

S. How does it? I don’t understand how to discover it.

R. The fact that you discover that you have to be in the center of the ten and this for you is like a womb, you have to start getting born there, start feeling your connection through the group with a Creator so this way you will advance. In this you will also feel responsibility that what you are about to do now is acting upon all of your friends and even the whole of humanity which is even if you don’t see it or feel it, it is incorporated in all of our actions. We will discover this and soon how much in all of our actions is incorporated with us, even though we don’t know, we don’t feel, we don’t see it but the whole of humanity is along with us, with all of our actions as some kind of an addition, seemingly. Their desires, their intentions, their suffering, their hopes, all of them are truly accompanying us and ultimately everything that we are doing and even though we are not aware of it, but we are doing it for them, for them that they will reach a connection with the Creator. Specifically in these vessels of humanity that is where the light of Haya and Yechida will be revealed and all we bring is corrections called Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, but Haya and Yechida are all revealed in the connection of humanity and us.

S. So each time I connect with the ten, in this prayer, when I see the Creator did everything we have to add?

R. I don’t think that’s the right time or the realistic time for that it will only dilute us, we will not be able to hold them together as a ten and in the meantime, we don’t need that. All I want to give now is the importance for our connection so that along with us even if we are not aware of it, even if we don’t feel it the entire humanity is there and we are causing a general connection for everyone

S. When I connect with the friends and I have to picture the Creator set everything up, where is the addition of bestowing to him because he set everything up?

R. He has prepared this, he prepared that with the hope, with the intention that you out of that will learn how to bestow through the friends to him and this way you reach equivalence with him, his degree. All in all, the Creator teaches us how to reach a state like him.

33. S. (01:23:01) It seems it feels that you put the emphasis on the emotional connection to the material to the sources very powerfully and it is as though all the uniqueness of the wisdom of Kabbalah that you’ve read the material even if you don’t understand it, just long for it. It’s as if pushed aside, as if there is no emotional connection, so what to do with it so that we can still draw the light, attract the light out of the material?

R. When I yearn to realize these things in practice, in practice meaning in the desire and one of phenomena is in the desire, it is called a feeling so this is how I sharpen my vessels. I bring myself to the revelation of the Creator and that is the goal in order to give him contentment. What is the revelation of the Creator, when I’ve reached in my qualities a state where I can perform those actions, meaning intentions, where are my actions and my intentions for the Creator by that I give him contentment and there’s nothing more than that.

S. I’m asking about the connection about the work with the sources, basically what is more successful if I read some source and it feels like rubble but there’s some pain and sorrow awakens or that I’m inspired emotionally by it?

R. When sorrow is developed, sorrow develops from the fact that I read and I don’t feel and that’s a prayer, when you feel it’s like sand or gravel, there’s no taste in it, that also leads you to a prayer. If a certain action of ours does not lead us to an address to the Creator, meaning of prayer then it is an action that is not kosher or not scrutinized, it is not finished.

R. (01:27:28) When we feel all kinds of different states, we should still give an account to ourselves that it is not coming from any other source but the Creator. He is the one that evokes it in us, and he obligates us to relate to Him in this way.

34. S. (01:31:09) Is it working for the benefit of the Creator already within reason, because asking for help above reason is part of the prayer, meaning I asked within reason to be above reason. How can I make it so the prayer becomes spiritual and aimed at the right deficiency?

R. Whoever asked that, asked correctly and it is really good, just keep going. I am not going to give an answer to it. The move, the direction of the thought, and the address is very good, keep on going that way, and you will succeed. I have nothing to add.

35. S. (01:32:10) When the Creator is near, does that mean that the Creator, who has been revealed, then why should we call Him?

R. Whenever a person feels that the Creator is closer than usual as it is written that when you call the Creator to bring you closer to Him know that he is already near you, meaning “before they call, I will answer” meaning the Creator perceives man and gives this person the right thoughts and emotions, and what is the company to that? a person will call. It’s a game like we play with children, we know what they are about to do, but we bring them conditions from them to discover things. What’s important for the rest is that there are correct responses, the way they do, not that for us it’s going to be some kind of new revelation, we already know in advance what is going on. With the Creator, this is how it truly is even if we are about to be mistaken to fall, to go into different kinds of bad states not Kosher, the Creator knows of that in advance, and He has to lead us through those actions as well, and we have to make a calculation a secondary calculation about that, we’re going to talk about that later but certainly everything that we do, everything comes from above.

36. S. (01:34:07) Why during the prayer, and the request that a person needs to feel the proximity of the Creator is something obligating as wholeness. During gratitude should we feel the closeness of the Creator as luxury, to feel farther and smaller is that better?

R. Try to see yourself as a baby, he feels the proximity to his mother, how much it makes the address to the mother more open, more broad, and more intensive. If the Creator is concealed, it is hard for us to turn to Him, to open our hearts, and this is why we should certainly prepare ourselves in advance to address the Creator. That’s why if we can’t, how do we know that? If I’m not coming closer to my friends, it is a sign that I am far from the Creator. This has to be for us like an axiom, for this we don’t need proof, it’s written this way so it’s correct, and it’s also clear from the structure of the network of connection between us. It’s concealed of us that we are actually in the world of EinSof (infinity), in the final correct connection between us, because all corruptions happen with respect to the created beings, just as we by building blocks for a child to build a house, not a real house, that’s the same thing here. That’s why it’s very important for us to work on it together. I really hope that we are already in very serious states building the vessel.

37. S. (01:36:19) During gratitude, how to relate to the Creator?

R. That He is the one who brought us here. First of all, for bringing us to a state where we can be thankful for correcting our desires and intentions, and we’ve come to a place where we somewhat resemble Him. There is no higher state, no bigger state more important in our eyes in much we resemble Him.

38. S. (01:36:55) What is the point of connection in the group that connects it to the Creator? What makes the group a proper conduit for the Creator. Is it the right request from the ten that it turns us into a ten?

R. Connection between us that is the condition. If we connect above the forces that push us away from each other, and if we overcome these forces of rejection, and we connect between us, because we understand that otherwise we will not reach the degree of the Creator, that’s why all the forces of rejection don’t cool us off, rather they are actually warm us up to connection, because in the intensity of the connection will be revealed even stronger and then we all of us give an example to each other how good it is to have the force overcoming upon the force of rejection that comes from the Creator, and the force of overcoming we attained out of one person’s help his friend and that is how we connect between us. We reach ultimately, by these two forces both in the collision or both in the rejection and the connection above the rejection we reach a result which is called power. It is the essence of our work, and this is how we reach a state where we start being worthy of resembling the Creator, because He creates darkness and we upon the darkness, we discover the light, that’s called my sons have defeated me that from him come darkness rejection, and from us light. Of course when we awaken Him, and we bring Him closer.

39. S. (01:39:28) The whole world is corrected, I just do not see it. Does it mean that I’m asking only to correct myself, my perception of the world, like you need a different computer to love the Creator’s world on a higher level?

R. No, I understand that we can see before you a few screens, and within every screen to see something else, the state of the ten, the state of the corporeal world, the state of the spiritual world, and the group and spirituality, and all kinds of other states. These states are infinite, according to the broken places, and the vessel of Adam HaRishon, all we need to do is see one thing, ourselves being with a tendency towards the Upper Forces unity and love, nothing else besides that to only have that before us as the true goal. There is nothing beyond that, all these numbers we learned later, all the sketches we can draw later are all an expression of our inner feeling, and this is why I’m really afraid that if we use them, it will move you from an emotional form to an intellectual one, because this will ruin everything.

40. S. (01:41:20) How to always be in the request that the Creator will appear to the friends on the path? What helps me do that all the time, because it feels like the Creator is taking these thoughts away from me more than they surface?

R. This is the general thought of the entire ten that is trying. It doesn’t matter how successful, it’s successful, but how much it tries, that’s enough to correct the Kli (vessels) already because our trial our attempts are what’s required. The success depends on the Creator, and it doesn’t depend on our request, the result depends on thousands of more conditions that relate or belong to all the vessel of Adam HaRishon, how much is supposed to be corrected, how much corporeal or spiritual states are about to come that have to be in correction all kinds of corrections. It’s like Rabash writes that whatever I receive I receive in my religion, and it’s not me and myself. That’s why we have to be concerned about doing what’s before us, and what should happen it will happen, but after we do, as much as we can, it’s not that we stop there, but each and every time after each and every action, the strong and good action we have to say that’s what we could do beyond that, I’ll try to do that the next time and not that in advance I say that I want to reach that and there are no demands. The only demand is in the action itself of connection and bestowal, but not in the result of it. That’s very important. I am not yearning for results, I’m yearning for the work, for the exertion. Rabash writes that a true servant of the Creator yearns for exertion.

41. S. (01:43:59) If we call upon Him and He hears us. Does this mean we work with faith above reason?

R. If the Creator hears, we are certainly in faith above reason of course, but does the Creator hear us? always, the question is, on what level do we see and feel that he hears and that is when we are already in a connection that has some equality, meaning going back and forth in the same conditions and the same qualities meaning we are already and faith above reason, the force of Bina, bestowal above the force of Malchut, at least to a certain extent.

42. S. (01:45:01) How in the beginning is revealing love towards others and then love towards the Creator, how could we achieve true love and not depend on “bitter and sweet”?

R. That’s by the bestowal of the upper light on us. When . . . . want to bestow upon us, we start appreciating the connection and the quality of the Creator, the bestowal and love that is outside of us, entirely, we start appreciating it in the highest way.

43. S. (01:45:57) Is the prayer born in my work or under the influence of the surrounding light? Can I influence the quality of the prayer?

R. You have to think that we can bestow in everything and all the discernments from the beginning to the end; and later, we will discover what is the truth and how much the Creator is truly in each and every action of ours.

44. S. (01:46:33) The place between us is the center of the ten, and do I feel this in me in the center or it’s already in the sensation of the ten?

R. Our place is that point of darkness, just like a black hole that we have in our universe, so it resembles that, swallowing all the lights and everything goes in there, disappearing. So you can resemble that to the center of our vessels, and that’s all revealed according to our qualities to the extent that we correct ourselves then this darkness becomes light and bitter becomes sweet. That is how we will discover by the corrections.

45. S. (01:47:51) Can I make a connection with the ten by changing my perception of them?

R. Of course, who is your ten? A ten is what I get from the Creator, some pattern, like the humanity in this world and all the planets and everything we have; and it’s all depicted in my vessel and when I unite all these things together with the Creator, I will see the true form. There is nothing else but rather there is None Else Besides Him.

46. S. (01:48:43) The feeling that the Creator is standing behind the friends, is that the sense of the center between me and the friend?

R. We can say this is correct in the meantime.

S. (01:48:59) What do we do when there is a sense of social rejection that intensifies.

R. That’s a place of work, that’s very good. It’s a sign that we are ready to rise one degree above.

47. S. (01:49:15) Do our prayers bring contentment to the Creator?

R. Our prayers bring contentment to the Creator for sure, for sure.

48. S. (01:49:29) What should we demand as a ten and as Bnei Baruch so that the Creator hears.

R. I’m not going to answer this because we talked about it for hours and hours.

49. S. (01:51:25) It happens quite often that a friend has a sickness or some corporeal difficulty and he updates the ten, should he ask for thoughts of help or is it enough just to update them?

R. Usually it is enough to just update them and we also have to think of him sometimes God forbid there is a need we really need to dedicate half a day or a few hours to really think about a particular person who is in a bad situation but just simple illnesses no that’s not too bad it is enough for us to just think about everyone and by that we heal everyone.

50. S. (01:52:30) Usually before you go to a test you feel inside whether you are ready and what grade you’re going to get, how do we check if we are ready for the Congress when it is an emotional test?

R. Now, as we are learning this lesson there are many questions and it’s like a test where you have many questions and you should try to answer them. Are you ready? Are you not ready? How much? That is all. No one will come and give you grades or some prize. That’s all the things that you have to do, and to be your own judge.

S. You said we don’t need to prepare to want to receive the grade but the effort is the success?

R. Ok, but exertion also has numbers. There are numbers to everything.

51. S. (01:53:48) In the excerpt before ( before number f4) the excerpt “call upon Him when He is near”, it seems that only when we feel the Creator turns to us do, we turn to him but here in number four it says it is as he describes as if we don’t feel where we read again and again. What is the difference between the states?

R. We don’t demand any recompense except for the ability to overcome and to work without becoming tired.

S. Is there a state where we feel him calling and then we have the strength to turn to him but there is a state that he just drives us here where we turned to him even though we don’t feel it so what is the difference between these states and how do I identify them?

R. That’s with respect to a person one person distinguishes but the main thing is where does the person you’re in for whatever happens yearning for connection with the ten is the most certain thing that the most whole thing. Yearn for that and then later you will have a certain connection of the different degrees (Sefirot Partzufim). You will see what degrees of coarseness you’re working in but in the meantime, there are no numbers here.

52. S. (01:55:33) Correction is a gradual process and it says in the end here that the creator gives everything at once. What does it mean?

R. You have to discover this and practice and then you’ll understand. I can’t show you things that when a person doesn’t yet understand what this is about the Creator always gives a person what is right for him, what he needs, what’s all at once or not all at once later will be revealed.

53. S. ( 01:56:12) Should we make an attack in Congress and if yes, how to do this?

R. When I come to the Congress in a way as if I’m going to battle my ego standing between me and my friends. I have to break this wall that lies within my heart between me and the friends and go into such a contact with them so that no disturbance will be there for the upper light. The upper light settles on the barriers between us that the Creator built. When we build a passageway to the upper light above these barriers it can jump above them and then it turns out that we by that we enlarge the upper light to be as high as these fences are, as much as they separate us from each other and we feel it in our ego as it grows and distances for me along with that, I want to skip over to be connected to them. Then it turns out that by the rejection of the height of the fence and the connection later, I increase the connection that was there to begin with in Adam HaRishon because it was the light of Nefesh, very small. Now I enlarge it by my forces, by my understanding, feeling, and my calculation as much as I can. I enlarge it to be in the degrees of the Creator so in the revelation of these evil things that are revealed we actually attain the intensity of the Creator, the force of the Creator, the manner of the Creator, and the qualities of the Creator. Everything is only through the connection of the desire to receive the shattering that shows us the true gaps between us and to that extent we will also discover the connection between us until we will discover the force and the intensity of the Creator completely.

54. S. (01:59:21) We just read that he said that He hears our prayer, he connects the previous sentence, that’s what I want to scrutinize: he says, “to demand the Lord when He is near meaning when the Lord brings Himself to demand then he will necessarily seek Him”. What does it mean that the Creator presents Himself to you in this excerpt?

R. The Creator is playing with us through revelation and concealment, and He wants us to come out of the revelation and concealment to build emotions, systems so as to discover Him. Look at our life, all of it is ultimately built from plus and minus, some light, some darkness, and so on. That is all there is in creation and there is nothing more but just a bit of light and a bit of darkness, and so on, in each and everything. What we need is only to discover what can be above darkness and light and that means that we acquire the Tzimtzum [restriction] and we don’t look at what’s good or bad, darkness or light, but the essence of the darkness and light and how could we discover it both by light and also by darkness, darkness actually brings greater revelation to us. And so from these differences between darkness and light we find their source, that is, what exists on a higher degree to both of them and that is the Creator. What we have as vessels either for connection or for remoteness with which we can work somewhat, and in these vessels we need to differentiate between light and darkness, and when we come to a state where a good means light and it’s good and it’s beautiful, it’s for filling; and darkness is the opposite to that, until we change our attitudes towards darkness and light in a very profound way, that the darkness is good in that it teaches us, straightens us, it gives us independence, personality. And then we detach from the sweetness of fulfillment and move to other states where it is not bitter or sweet that we need but truth and false and above truth and false, there is None Else Besides Him, so in this way we begin to appreciate the whole process. Then what was darkness becomes light and what was bitter becomes sweet and then we reach a world that is filled with good.

S. So the question is about what you said that the Creator, He brings Himself after the quality, He invented Himself? Let’s say when someone comes to the quality of bestowal, let’s say to you, so he invents himself to be different, do you feel different?

R. I’m not sure what you’re saying. Of course our understanding of the Creator is always changing. The Creator is not something you see that exists out there it exists the way you perceive it that is why it is called Come and See.

S. Yes, Baal HaSulam actually wrote about it: “the moment a person comes to the quality of bestowal, the Creator relates to him differently; whatever he does he succeeds, everything moves by his wish.

R. That is right.

55. S. (02:02:56) Where is my experience accumulating? Is it accumulating in my heart or my mind, and when can I rely on it and when must it be new every time?

R. You should accept each and every state as coming to you from the Creator; and as you respond to each and every state you, as if turn to the Creator, so any state that appears from the Creator to you or you towards the Creator, it appears only in order for you to have contact with a Creator, that’s it. Now the essence of that contact, that will be discovered later, when you will achieve in order to bestow. Then you and the Creator will somewhat be working on the same level and you will understand Him to an extent and know how to direct yourself correctly.

56. S. (02:05:26) What is the complete effort and how do I get this understanding that I’ve done everything that depends on us?

R. We don’t know how to attain everything that depends on us. We will always discover that there are more and more such states that there’s nothing you can do. We just have to advance and see how we influence each other, there is nothing you can do here. Look less at the results and more on the essence of our action to the extent copy action is complete that is what should fulfill you.

57. S (02:09:08) What should be the prayer for the collective, and what to pray for?

R. First of all imagine to yourself that it all comes from above from the Creator and there is ‘none else besides him.” Whatever may happen only comes from Him. How will you turn to him if you are sure that what’s happening comes from Him only. Imagine to yourself then, how would you think of Him and how you would turn to Him. Then after that let’s say, that only you can turn to Him only you from the whole world only you it all depends on you. Then what do you ask for? What do you ask for? However you imagine that state accordingly you should act.

58. S. (02:10:38) There is nothing small or great that is attained but by the power of prayer, all the labor and the work we are obliged only to discover a lack of strength in our lowliness. That’s from excerpt 6. What is the exertion that we must do?

R. In order to reach the right request from the Creator, which is raising MAN, which is a deficiency that comes from us. In order to have a deficiency that comes from us that is equal to the upper light the Creator wants to reveal, we have to work on that deficiency and a deficiency is developed by many actions over many years. That happens through prayer and a prayer appears in man’s heart in the desire the Creator created deep down by efforts the person makes or the Creator makes over the person doesn’t matter, but in that desire a person reveals how much he wants changes not because of himself but because he wants to bring contentment to the Creator. That this desire will grow in him. Just imagine you have a baby in the family and the baby grows only to bring you contentment. How opposite it is to the ordinary baby that doesn’t really pay attention to you that only treats you as someone who has to give them everything. The more you invest in the baby it doesn’t really take that into account that you feel that you owe everything to him and so you need to think about how you relate to this baby in order to grow the baby correctly. To understand that you are doing everything for the baby and that is worthwhile for him to relate to you the same way as well. What will happen here if he grows only egotistically, we will have a broken world and if he grows correctly similar to you, meaning that you relate to him and he relates to everyone like you relate to him then the world will be whole. Just imagine that all of our babies grow in a way that they want to bestow to the world like their parents want to bestow to them. That will be the final correction

Excerpt 8: Baal HaSulam, Letter No. 52 ( 02:14:14) Twice

R. (02:15:45) I am in a state ,whatever I am in it doesn’t matter and I begin to work on myself wanting to address the Creator wherever I have, where do I get this thought and desire from the Creator. Maybe through the friends but ultimately it is also from the Creator, beside the person there is only the Creator. Then I begin to connect to the friends, to strengthen the connection between us. Where does the desire and power and mind come from? The Creator. Then I achieve connection with them and from our connection we all begin to somehow respond and relate to the Creator, where does that come from? The Creator. What’s going on here? Does the Creator need our work? He himself, of course not. What’s required here is that we will understand His greatness. How far He is from all of our calculations. There is nothing better, nothing more exalted than being on his degree. Now it’s not that He doesn’t know it or He needs us to know it. These are just egoistic things that we can think about. Now, first of all to fulfill us with knowledge and feeling and then there are other degrees that we will try to rise to as well. Meaning above our attainments, or feeling, or understanding everything there is more and more where to go where the climb to achieve the true essence of creation

59. S. (02:18:15 ) Should the whole world Kli be in one direction of a prayer so that during the Congress we will reach a unified address to the Creator?

R. Of course, we should long for the greatest thing which is for us the general connection of all humanity with a creator as one body that’s on one hand. On the other hand, however we discuss it we understand that we are not ready for it, even though I am talking about the Creator and so there is no boundary to what He couldn’t do. He can correct all of us at once and jump a person from the bottom of this world to the peak of the spiritual worlds to the full height of Ein Sof. We always need to raise our prayers to Ein Sof. Rabash writes this as well. What He will do with us we don’t care. As long as we are under His control, in His control. To nullify our ego, our selfishness and agree with anything that the Creator is doing. That’s all. Annulment is first and that is what we want. Now annulment could be passive until the middle of the ladder, the degree of Bina, and it can also be active which is up all the way to the level of Keter where I completely equalize myself with the Creator. Meaning with that height up of bestowal, love, and connection that he established for the created beings and then we will discover more sense and more things.

60.S.(01:21:10) You said that we need to try to be in thought and prayer for the friends and to try to make an effort doesn’t matter what the result is, I must tell my friends that I can’t hold a thought

R. You can say that but that is not good. You have to show them a good example and even if you have to show them as if you can and that you are doing it. This is very simple, this is a must.

61. S. (01:22:07) We learn that there is no better moment than the moment that a person is despaired of his own forces and he is asking for the Creator’s help. On the other hand we also see that people are on the path for 10 or 15 years and still they leave the path so what don’t they believe in the Creator or what? How can it be that such a person will leave.

R. He doesn’t work on himself sufficiently. That is one thing. The second thing is that he didn’t convince himself that the main thing is patience. What can you do? Life is right in front of you, even if you die you are not going to conclude any process here. The process continues you cannot kill your soul, your desire. It is impossible you cannot lose it. Where can you run? You’re escaping the opportunity that you have to continue the work even if you don’t feel the results and if you saw some results you would continue. Meaning you are working for the results and we learn that this is a demand of your ego and it’s not how you need to be. I have to wake up every day and start anew even if I have nothing from yesterday because I am obligated as a creative being to achieve the level of the Creator and there is no compromise here. It is just like an ox to the burden and a donkey to the load.

62. S. (02:24:18) Does there have to be a similar feeling with this yearning? does it have to be equal between us and the ten for the Creator to listen?

R. Our yearning should bring together all the friends with the Creator so that we are as one body. That is only it.

63. S. (02:25:08 0 the whole world Kli is preparing for the congress, I wanted to ask to be ready. The structure of the lesson, we are going to have two hours every lesson. How do you see this structure correctly? Maybe in the division between the workshops, the lessons, the questions, the men, the womanless. How do we prepare?

R. Dear friends, students, you have seen the lessons. The same lessons will happen in the Congress because it doesn’t matter to us what material we are going to study. What matters is what we are going to do within us and between us and therefore everything depends on how we work on that. You need to decide after having gone through the material and discussing it and feeling it, how can we achieve such a connection where we feel the Creator end of story. That is our goal. How do we connect between us so the Creator appears in our vessels based on the equivalence of form between the light and the Kli. That the smallest light is a light of bestowal at the minimum level. We want that to be revealed in our vessel. It’s just that the vessel develops from below and a light comes from above and shows itself this way. Let’s do that. Imagine that you are turning on a light bulb, that you are twisting the knob and the light gradually becomes apparent so we just need to do the minimum necessary to turn on the light and that is through the connection between us. How come we move towards that and advance in realizing it that’s it. I don’t have any solutions, answers, or advice. I gave you everything. Now we’ve concluded the last lesson in the Congress. If you want, we can still do some workshops and other things. I have no problem, I’m ready. I feel that we ‘ve gone to a very good level now but we have to keep going to the extent that we realize it within us. Not that we hear and understand intellectually but how we feel the changes inside of our heart from between us towards the Creator. Let us now think, how do we prepare ourselves? While we are still before the Congress, we need to put together the right connection between us to become similar to the Creator’s.so that the vessel and the light are equal , similar to the Creator on the first minimal initial degree.
