Part 1:
Rabash. Article No. 14 (1985). I Am the First and I Am the Last
Reading Article. (00:35) “The verse says, “I am the first..”
1. S. (18:17) The article talks about “I am the first and the last”, can you maybe explain man’s role in this process?
R. First of all a person should understand and feel that everything that is created was created for him, that there is nobody else besides Him in reality and that the whole of reality stands before Him for his benefit. He has to work with the whole of reality and through this whole of reality he must prove himself, adapt himself to his source, the Creator. And this is what he was born for and this is the purpose for which he exists and therefore, all of his work, all of his environment, everything that happens to him, it is all in order to assist him in keeping the purpose of creation which is to connect to the whole of creation and through it to connect with the Creator.
S. Many times we have deficiencies and we operate instinctively, according to that we forget to scrutinize who awakens the deficiency in us which is the Creator if we don’t pay attention. So how do I pay attention that the Creator is who awakens this lack in me?
R. This does not exist in us unless we operate in a correct society so that the society awakens in me this deficiency, that there’s another element here, another component that I have to be connected to and then I open up the whole of reality and I know where I am and what it is I need to do.
S. It’s the product of the connection that we connect and identify the lack more?
R. Yes.
S. After I recognize these lacks and He who did this and I have to carry out my deed, my action, how do I know where I have to stop and leave room for Him?
R. After I realize that the whole world was created in order for me to exist in it in the right way, so I will connect all of these parts into a single system and I will give room to this system, in this system I will give room to the Creator, sorry, since He created, made and fashioned all of this, if I do that then I’m done with my role.
S. I heard some advice from you once, that you said not more not less, that we shouldn’t act, not too much, not too little, that’s how I heard it?
R. Yes.
S. The end result of my action should be that there is a desire that needs a filling and I need the Creator to fill it?
R. All of my work is in order to see the whole of creation in a complete way and I discover that this can only be, only by the Creator revealing it, this entire system and that He also operates it and He arranges it in its final, eternal, complete form.
S. Ultimately we need to be in the sensation that after I act, I know that there’s this final part of the Creator that He must finish, He must complete this act, I can’t do that. He must do it and we must leave this space for Him?
R. I can’t do anything even to begin with but only to give the Creator, if I can say so, that I give Him, let Him because I don’t even have the privilege to do that. However, I expect that the Creator will fill the whole of reality and then the whole of reality will return to being a complete reality and the fact that I to begin with I see that reality is incomplete it is because the Creator did so deliberately in order for me to feel, in order for me to feel that I have something to do here, to be a partner with the Creator. But I, in each and every action of mine, should begin and give it to the Creator because without Him, this action will not be completed.
2. S. (25:10) How do we reach the understanding that punishment is not punishment but rather a correction?
R. That through everything that happens to me I need to discover that it is the Creator who turns me each time in a particular manner for correctly and closer to the purpose of creation and this is how I reach the understanding that all of the punishments are if I’m not in the right place and the world is not in the right place, it’s all in order for us to realize that these revelations, they actually help us to reach the corrected state and therefore, every punishment that we feel, every deficiency, is actually a correction. Without feeling this deficiency, we would have no connection with the correction.
3. S. (26:42) I’d like to say everything is clear, even I agree with it, it’s logical but that it seems to be a heavy price on our perception of reality. I don’t know, if it’s one of your dear ones are ill and don’t feel well, it seems to be this contradiction with this sensation of the Creator and this is all you know from this world and you need to concede that everything that you know, everything that is dear to you and everything that you understand and to accept everything and you don’t know if you can?
R. I understand you. You are right according to how you feel but there is nothing we can do about it but only to understand that apparently this is how it needs to be in order for us to attain the whole of reality and reach its wholeness.
S. You reach like an act like Abraham, like you’re willing to sacrifice your son?
R. What am I sacrificing?
S. Someone who’s standing before a difficult reality and he has to justify the Creator, kind of like Abraham sacrificing his son, that I have nothing?
R. I don’t think it’s like that but I agree that this is what people also feel.
4. S. (28:23) He explains here, happy is the one who the Creator demonishes, that from the suffering that a person feels that he’s going the wrong way, that is called that He is giving him a Kli?
R. The Creator is directing him to the right path, he therefore feels pressure on himself from all kinds of different sides and feels himself uncomfortable, certainly. However, specifically by that he changes his way inside and outside.
S. Two questions result from this. He writes later on that not everyone feels this suffering, not everyone is privileged with this, so what’s that dependent on?
R. As much as he is in a state, a critical state which is the opposite of the way that the world rolls, pulls ahead and then he feels these things as pressuring him more.
S. How not be ‘a fool sitting eating his flesh’ in these states and to use the suffering as a springboard for progress?
R. It depends on the environment and on his preparation even from the earlier incarnations.
S. What does he do then on the same point? He feels suffering right now, what does he do ?
R. According to his nature this is how he is drawn forward, either he’s drawn to study or he’s drawn towards the friends or he’s drawn to special kinds of actions or maybe he runs away somehow. It’s according to the person’s nature, according to his fate.
S. Can you control this nature, he’s already in a Ten,in a state of work?
R. Through his mind, his intellect, yes, if he’s already in a Ten, then He can change his form of advancement.
S. How do I do that?
R. You need to become incorporated in the Ten. The Ten is seemingly the mechanism that works on you and instead of connecting with this whole, infinite reality and who knows how and where, you have, all in all, on the speaking degree, you have a few friends that towards them you can annul yourself and determine such a connection that as you want to become incorporated with the Creator, so this is how you are going to become incorporated with them.
S. Precisely at this point I noticed there’s an effort that you do on your part to connect to the Ten, to annul, and let them influence you but you have another point here that interests you, you don’t want to pass how you feel and the=Ten has to come in and pull you out of it?
R. That exists as well, yes.
S. At this point how does the Ten influence the friend and not let him escape everything, what’s their influence?
R. Here there’s mutual work between the person and the Ten, the Ten and the person.
S. There is a barrier here that I can’t pass?
R. I understand it, but there’s no choice, we have to talk about it and we have to persuade each other that without this there’s no progress.
5. S. ( 32:40 ) What is actually a lack for the truth? He says we have to receive a vessel and know the truth then I can make an effort to reach adhesion with the Creator. What is that same lack to reveal the truth?
R. It’s a deficiency to feel the root of oneself; this is what is revealed to the person.
S. What does it mean to reveal the root here if he can’t?
R. I don’t know where I need to be but I’m not there and the gap between where I need to be and I’m not in it ,this gives me a deficiency.
6. S. (33:40) He writes here in one of the paragraphs about power, he writes at page 105, he writes, a person from his part, it’s to say that everything depends on him for all the according to his overcoming in the work he will be able to be rewarded with the goal for which he was created. This is regarded as a person having to believe in reward and punishment. At that time once he has done his work he must say that everything is under private Providence, as said, ‘I am the first, I am the last’ and seemingly he should have written, I am the first and the Creator is the last? That everything depends on me right, it seems, and then a person has to believe in reward and punishment, that the Creator has to finish the work but he still writes that the Creator is the first and the Creator is the last and that is not clear.
R. Everything depends on the higher Providence, ‘the Creator is the first and the Creator is the last,’ and these two points in him are as one point and it’s not that there is in between them some distance of time, place or movement and a person needs to accept that.
7. S. (35:29) I am the first, can we understand that the correct lack has awakened, by this the Creator lets us taste the state of bestowal when we care for the friend?
R. I am the first, that the Creator starts to work and He produces a deficiency for the final point which is, ‘I am the last.’ This is how it happens.
8. S. (36:15) If I’m in a different framework, not here the lesson, not in the lesson, then awakens the desire according to the environment around me and if my lack is for spirituality, who is I am the first?
R. From here it’s not about you changing your place. Here it’s about the Creator but He is the first and He is the last and He establishes the whole path for you.
S. I’m asking regarding the attitude toward our work. Yesterday I remember you saying and I understand more now that the Kli, the restriction, reflected light, restriction, screen and reflected light, I remember you saying that and this that we’re trying to do in our work and every lack that awakens, that’s the Creator awakening it?
R. Certainly, There’s None Else Beside Him.
S. Also in a different environment the Creator is also awakening the lacks in me?
R. Yes.
S. In the next stage, I am the last?
R. Yes, that too. That final point of development the Creator also establishes it.
S. What’s my work in this entire process and every place I’ve been, in every lack that awakens in me?
R. To discover that you are receiving this path, that you agree that the Creator is the one who determines it, that There Is None Else Besides Him. That’s it.
S. There’s a place of choice seemingly that we can choose an environment, from one to another, and choose this way what certain lacks will awaken in me. So in a general perspective of our life, where is our work exactly to be in precise attitude to, ‘I am the first and I am the last,’ in order to not be confused?
R. In order to not be confused it’s to be in the center of the society that the Creator has established before you; that is all.
S. Then let me try again. This topic of “I am the first” then when the lack awakens in me and I’m in an environment that has certain desires, a certain attitude and I have a choice to reach an environment?
R. ‘I am the first and I am the last,’ speaks about the Creator that He establishes for you all of the points along the way as much as you with your desire want to advance to them then you feel how you are carrying out His desire. I have nothing more to add.
S. He awakens me in this environment, I come to work, to go play basketball, soccer?
R. Yes and you choose where to go.
9. S. (40:30) It’s written at the end that our work has to ask that the Creator will help us to reach this that all of our actions will be for the sake of the Creator now I am doing things through the course of the day how can I know if my actions are for the sake of the Creator or not?
R. For this we were given the group the study and dissemination and all kinds of means so that we can hold ourselves pretty much in the direction of correction and we need to add to all of this scrutiny more and more, the deficiencies I would say prayers of our own.
S. Meaning the Ten is like an intermediate median between me and the Creator?
R. Yes.
S.How can I when I’m in a corporeal state, I am at work, I mean when I how can I, there too, grasp on to this?
R. What does it matter where you are? I am everywhere in an environment that the Creator fills and in all of these moments in my life I want to be connected with Him.
S. Let’s say I’m at work praying for the Creator even though I’m not even though I’m at my place at work.
R. Yes.
10. S. (42:15) To be the Creator’s partner over the course of the day I encounter states and I need to respond to react as the partner of the Creator. How do I react that I won’t be called upon?
R. According to how you feel, according to how you feel. Do you feel that you are agreeing with him each and every moment? That you are moving in your life truly according to the same force that He opens up before you?
S. It’s correct that the partner of the Creator is that the moment I have the same goal of the Creator that the Creator has we are partners?
R. Yes.
S. My attitude how is it expressed in my attitude towards the friends and the society
R. You want to take them as partners.
S. If I have a partner who is whole and I am not whole but I see a broken picture, how can I be a partner of something that is whole?
R. We will need to scrutinize this, you need to scrutinize this.
S. Okay, so on that same point if I see in my friends a flaw and correct that in that moment I am not a partner with the Creator?
R. If you see the flaw and a friend you are seeing your own flaw and here there are many things that we need to scrutinize. It’s not simple.
11. S. (44:32) When he writes, actually that this entire process gives birth in me to the Creator, so is this assistance I want just the opportunity to hold in above reason? Is that what I’m asking for and demanding for?
R. Actually yes.
S. Actually this that I can ask from the Ten and that’s what I can provide for it?
R. Yes.
S. That’s the result we’re giving thanks to and now we want to be adhered to above reason that’s the desired result?
R. Yes.
12. S. (45:22) You said that every moment we need to check where we are, and that’s to see between the difference between where we are and the desired state, so from the desired straight that’s like a vessel that the Creator gives me the state that I scrutinized through the friends of how to constantly adhere to the desired state?
R. Yes, it’s like you are driving in a car, so you see where you are and where you need to be, and all the time you’re turning yourself.
13. S. (46:11) A prayer for the friends and the Creator did it and if the Creator awakens the prayer, the answer in the prayer is in this that we are reminded that He brought up the prayer in us the lack in us? When I’m reminded of this it kind of calms me down. It’s like oh the Creator awakened prayer in me. I’m in connection with Him. I’m communicating and everything’s fine and you kind of forget to keep praying on friends. What do you do in this situation?
R. I don’t know, scrutinize and continue.
14. S. (47:12) To this day I feel that the advancement was through suffering, what does it mean to go on the path of Torah the hastening path?
R. It could be that this is how it seems to you, that your advancement was by way of suffering and now the advancement is by way of joy and happiness, it is all relative.
15. S. (47:54) What does it mean that the Creator gives more illnesses than suffering to whom he loves more?
R. He gives them more gripping points in his plan of creation in order for them to understand and agree with or maybe resist it and in this way they will advance.
16. S. (48:2) If the Creator gives me states and hardships at home in the family and at work is it all given to me just that I will connect more in the 10 and the group?
R. You also have a family in theTen in the study and the Creator and more however it all stems from a single source, from Him.
17. S. (48:47) It’s written that all of creation is only for His glory and not for self-benefit, is the attention the law of reality that was given the purpose that all shall reveal this honor and glory for a quality of bestowal and love?
R. Yes.
18. S. (49:10) The Creator’s the first and the Creator the last and both these points are as one point and not that there is some gap of motion, time or space between them and this is how a person should accept it?
R. Yes.
S. How can a person begin to connect to this truly?
R. A person should tie there’s None Else Besides Him, the good that’s doing good together and then he will have these two points of creation as a single point.
19. S. (49:5 ) Rabash writes that in the place where he had only a desire for sale perception now he receives a desire where he expects the Creator to give him the vessel called the will to bestow, it sounds as though this expectation is like a transition from the will to receive to the will to bestow, how do we reach such a state of anticipation that the Creator will work on me?
R. I guess that it must be only in the 10, that to the extent that we work together, that we draw the Creator and we seemingly obligate him to assist us and established before this paved path
S. What exactly is the state of expecting or anticipation?
R. Expectation as we see and as we understand from our life, that I expect for the next step from myself or from the Creator.
S. If he is the first and he is the last, where do we fit in in his actions on us?
R. Trying them both together.
S. What ties between the two of them?
R. The first point and the last point I want to tie them together.
S. This connection, is it in the Ten?
R. Yes.
20. S. (51:31) In the practical work with the Ten there are states where a person makes a certain connection and he doesn’t make an effort. Can we say that the Creator awakens him and the Creator’s the first?
R. Yes.
S. The Creator is the last means the request of the person because sometimes you have that same state and the person cannot do it and then he has to ask the Creator to support him?
R. That will be the result in the end.
S. I can say the first of the gratitude and the last is the prayer?
R. Also could be.
21. S. (52:15) A person works in spirituality or doesn’t work in spirituality and receives punishment, why is that?
R. It’s not punishment, it’s to push him forward otherwise he will not move.
S. But he writes here, here in corporeality if a worker doesn’t work he doesn’t get paid but he also doesn’t get punishment, but in spirituality the fact that he doesn’t work he does receive punishment?
R. Yes, this is in order to push him to make a decision which is closer to the purpose of creation.
S. I thought that in spirituality a person who works the work itself is the reward therefore if he doesn’t work then he’s not getting this reward is that correct?
R. That I don’t think he really feels that the work itself is the reward, we’re talking about somebody here who’s relatively new in the beginning of the past.
S. But if it’s truly in spirituality then the work is truly the reward?
R. Yes, but that he’s already in this in joy and devotion.
S. To be in such a state where one doesn’t have the possibility to bestow or one always has the possibility to work?
R. No, he doesn’t always have the opportunity to bestow.
22. S. (53:50) From where can a person take this power to justify the Creator’s operations on him because the force of separation it captures each one of a separately and the person feels always that it pains him according to how the friends are asking him the suffering hurts them that’s already condemning the Creator he’s feeling he’s already condemning the Creator’s actions on him and that it already pushes him away so how can we actually justify the Creator? The Creator’s actions on him.
R. Usually to justify we’re talking only about above reason, that whatever is happening doesn’t matter what, I justify the Creator even as it is written, yes, the sharp sword at one’s neck, not to be in despair from his mercy.
S. The one who wrote all the messages as I understand it those people were in attainment spiritual attainment and they are giving us directions and guidelines a pure example also you told us how we’re in the hospital and you were suffering, truly your skin was like separated from you and you couldn’t accept this suffering and the one who helped you to justify them was Rabash, he told you you don’t know what kind of corrections you’re making and you have the strength to come out of this state, feeling that you made a correction, a correction for yourself and also for the Creator, so how can we correctly take the forces that we have meaning the Ten, how can I be assisted by the power of the Ten and justify each and every state that is what I don’t understand because I feel bad, I feel bad.
R. So wonderful, in the meantime scrutinize to what extent you can not justify the Creator, that’s also good work and it’s good work great work.
23. S. (56:40) We know that when you feel unpleasantness in your life when there’s no taste in your desire or anything and this whole stinking world and everybody seems to be scheming against you in agreement so I cannot ascribe bad things to him to see him as operating bad things How can I what about what to do with this contradiction?
R. The entire world was created for me, that I should learn from the entire world how to manipulate myself and really to justify the Creator in each and every detail.
S. You take things that your teacher tells you not the students and you put one against the other and you always seem to be losing so it seems like everything is working against you so what to do?
R. That’s a sign that the Creator arranges opportunities for you in order to learn from each and every thing from life.
S. The teacher he doesn’t teach you he kicks you in the face he doesn’t teach you.
R. That’s not true, that’s not his intention, He gives you opportunities to learn from each and every detail.
S. Are you supposed to understand what it is that He wants from you?
R. I must understand, yes.
S. Things that you are going through are these things that give him contentment?
R. Also.
S. How can I understand what He’s trying to teach me?
R. For this we have intentions, we aim ourselves that I must in each and every state first of all to see that it’s from the Creator to believe that I receive it from the Creator, and to advance towards Him.
S. This is what it’s about you cannot describe it, it’s not written here but you cannot see Him as an evil operator, these bad feelings you cannot ascribe them to Him?
R. Correct, that despite what I see around me that it is all bad and it presses on me and operates on me in such a manner, I need to still believe that it’s from the Creator, the good and the bad that I see is because in my internality, I am still not corrected.
S. I do everything that I’m capable of, everything that I understand that I’m able to do, I do it but things do not improve. This checklist of the group it’s not filled with check marks and everything remains empty, and undone.
R. Look, I saw life a bit myself. I went through all sorts of states, but if we want through life to reach connection with the Creator, we have no choice, we must learn from the advice of the Kabbalist and from all the signs that we see in our life.
S. Even when He is seemingly working to push you away from the group and all sorts of such things?
R. That’s all how it appears to me, and I need to understand that all these things are for my benefit.
S. The teacher says something and it doesn’t happen, it’s not the way that I see, I checked it and it doesn’t happen, why do you say it just seems to me?
R. There are things here that really you cannot agree with, and nonetheless above reason, he will be able to accept it and learn from it, the correct attitude of the Creator towards you.
S. To go with whatever the teacher says or above reason when will it be and where is the King’s way and what is this thing?
R. Whenever you will break yourself. Nothing you can do, the hero of the heroes is called the one who breaks himself.
24. S. (01:01:57) I understand that there is a desirable state is that I will constantly always be praying from the bottom of my heart to the Creator all the time as of now in order for me to pray somebody around me has to greatly suffer so that I will pray for him all the time and I will be connected to the Creator so how do I take the state and leave those who are around me feeling good but I inside of me, suffer and they all remain in good and I remain in prayer all the time in an inner prayer and they remain with everything.
R. I don’t know, I don’t want to get into these scrutinies because that’s according to my mind, what I hear, everything will seem to me as manipulated, so what we need to do is only to connect as much as possible tighter and tighter together, in heart and mind and from there, we will see the correct state, the correct step forward.
S. If I on my side do everything that I feel that I need to do and even beyond it, and I feel that the sharp sword is always there and I know the Creator is holding the sword and I now want that those around me will stop living such a life but that they will have a good life seemingly because of me everyone around me?
R. You’re making conditions? Are you giving the Creator conditions?
S. I feel that I’m the reason because of this, those around me have to live in a certain way which is not good right now, that’s how I feel it, they suffer greatly, how do I turn it so that they will stop suffering because of me?
R. Pray for them that the Creator will relate good to them, that it seems to you now that He has a bad attitude towards them.
25. S. (01:04:51) What determines the person’s ability to correctly determine what the Creator is sending him?
R. I don’t think it depends at all on whether we correctly are incorrectly explain the Creator we want to understand him, but it’s not the purpose of our development, the purpose of our development is to respond on what we receive from the Creator in the correct manner, not to understand Him but to respond correctly, it’s a huge difference between what our ego wants to understand Him, and to enter some game with Him, aims toward Him aimed towards me and I am towards Him whether we must make the effort simply relate correctly to everything he reveals to us, and what He reveals, I’m not trying to solve it I’m not trying to understand it.
S. What does it mean to relate correctly?
R. To have the correct attitude is that I will have the correct attitude towards what I feel.
S. I feel that I’m making an effort in the work but I’m moving away from the Creator. I feel that I am even losing the greatness of the friends and the greatness of the Creator. How can I interpret such things correctly?
R. Do it in such a way that it would happen.
26. S. (01:06:33) You said relate correctly to Him and he says all who relate, our people that say that the all the whole of the creation that he made it for himself?
R. Yes.
S. He said that the purpose of the Creator is to do good to his creations?
R. Right.
S. Even egoistic people can agree with that.
R. Right.
S. It’s good that the Creator is doing good and he enjoys it. He said the same, that he had the same “let’s enjoy and eat and enjoy.” The question is how we change our attitude toward Him. That they all say that the whole of creation was created for his glory, for His glory, for His honor?
R. Right, we need to carry out His program.
S. The Creator relates to the created beings He wants them to feel good.?
R. I guess.
S. Apparently. What does it mean that I want to get closer to Him, what does it mean that I want to relate back to the Creator?
R. That you want to understand His plan, that He is the good that does good, and not in order to enjoy from it, rather in order to justify creation to justify the Creator.
S. This whole change, he says that you walk on the path and then you start on Lo Lishma and then there is a certain manner of reward and punishment on the path and this can bring you to a certain state where you will also hate the Lo Lishma so I understand that Lo Lishma still means that we are going to a certain attitude that I want to get and receive the good that the Creator gives I want to enjoy what He’s giving me and I have a relation to Him so what does it mean to go with Torah and Mitzvot and rewards and punishment that will bring me to get to take on a new attitude?
R. I want by my work in the group and with the Creator, to reach a state that I justify the Creator, I justify all of reality and the environment and I want nothing to accept to be in balance with this entire system.
S. Yes, but there’s a certain action where I receive reward and punishment and I reach a feeling that I am not in balance with the system because I am in Lo Lishma, I’m asking about this transition, what makes this change in my attitude so that suddenly there will be a change in how I relate?
R. I don’t understand you so much.
S. Seemingly some miracle has to happen here so a person has to shift from suffering he’s not feeling him. Suddenly it’s not Him, suddenly there’s a change where I care about something new?
R. That is outside of you.
S. Yes, now this transition point where it happens he hinges it on the person he says the second paragraph from the end, he says about reward and punishment that when he works in that it brings him to it so I’m asking about it, what is this thing?
R. Reward and punishment are exchanged, interchanged, they are constantly rising in degree, what is reward and what is punishment?
27. S. (01:11:26) In the article it sounds as though the work of the person and the suffering but how can we as a Ten, how can we feel sorrow in the sorrow of the friend and work with that and work with the sorrow of the friends?
R. To the extent that we are close to him, that’s how we can do it, to take upon ourselves His suffering in a bit.
S. How do we work with the Creator and with his suffering as a Ten?
R. Suffering of the Creator.
S. Suffering of the friend?
R. That’s by prayer that we pray instead of him for him.
S. Regarding us being able to turn it into justification for there is None Else Besides Him of the entire Ten that whatever the friend is going through?
R. When we begin to work we will see that we reach it.
28. S. (01:12:50) Earlier you told the friend that he has to reach a state where he breaks himself. What does it mean that one has to break himself?
R. There is a point here that it’s hard for a person to change his perspective of sight.
S. What should he break his ego or?
R. To make the effort to accept what occurs in creation, that it comes from the upper force.
S. How do we in the Ten help a friend break himself if we cannot even do it?
R. Through examples not more.
29. S. (01:13:57) I want to say that I was crying and I was rewarded with the revelation of the Creator to his creations in this world and I wish for all the friends that they will cry and cry and will be rewarded the revelation of the Creator to the creative being in this world so my question is did the Rabash in this article attain the Creator to the fullest and equivalence of form?

R. What’s the question? If you feel that you’re not satisfied then gather all your deficiencies that you feel and raise them to the Creator, and demand that they get filled.
31. S. (01:16:03) When I see a blemish or a flaw in a friend’s then it’s a flaw inside of me but sadly a long time passes before I feel that, how can we hasten this process so that I feel that it’s all happening in me and I will be able to correct it?
R. Only through prayer, maybe friends can help with it, you’re saying something very nice and true, and it’s really, it’s between us. Ask,we all have to ask, to demand.
32. S. (01:17:02) Just as our sages said in 10 utterances the world was created and through only one can be a reward to the righteous that that the world was created in 10 utterances. What are those ten utterances that were created?
R. In order for us to reach from the best of the Creator to the feeling inside the created being, that bestowal has to go through 10 degrees, then it will be felt in the created beings, so we bless this concealment that takes place in order to awaken us and raise us above those 10 degrees of concealment.
33. S. (01:18:20) It’s written that the bad experiences that a person experiences push a person to perceive vitality. What is that place and what is this life that it’s talking about? What is the search after that?
R. It’s the place of connection with the right environment. If eventually I feel that we found the place where we can develop to the extent that we can discover the Creator, so it’s truly a blessing.
34. S. (01:19:32 ) We see that everything was done and will be done by the Creator so it turns out that… in its time its own place at all comes from the Creator so hastening time in its own time is only the way that we relate to the states?

R. It brings us to a state that we discover that there is one force working and determining all of our destiny, that is stabilizing all of reality before us.
S. How do we work with it, this private providence?
R. Where?
S. How do we work with it in our Tens, in private providence?

S. What’s the difference between a blessing and a prayer?
R. A blessing and a prayer, it’s two things that are very distant from one another, prayer is when a man raises from the deficiency he reveals and a blessing he raises from the opposite, from scrutinizing that blessing that came down on him from above.
S. If we reveal a deficiency in the Ten can we turn personally to one friend in the prayer? Can we use the prayer to turn to a friend?
R. Yes sure.
40. S. (01:25:55) It says that I am the first thing I am the last, what we try to do always we try to go through the friends to the Creator so the first part of the sentence I am the first in order to touch that part I am first, do I need to see through the efforts of the friends that if I managed to touch it it this is the place of the work?
R. I am first and I am last,is what we discover the Creator in every thing that happens to us towards the goal, when He starts a reaction and He also ends it, and our desire is only to adhere to Him in those two points.
S. I wanted to make it more precise because the ego kind of waters down everything, He shows the flaws and the friends is that allowing us to see the efforts the friends are making their yearnings for the goal so I can I use this trick this tactic whereby I come to this point of I am first, the Creator’s first which is thanks to the efforts of the friends?
R. No, no, you don’t need to confuse yourself with this, just think simply.
41. S. (01:27:25) Rabash writes that when he has a vessel called vessel of bestowal in place of a desire to receive only for himself he is now waiting for the Creator to give him this vessel the desire to bestow this vessel of bestowal and the desire to restore what’s the difference between it and where is it in the Ten?
R. The desire to bestow is the vessel to bestow.
S. What does he write that when we have a vessel of bestowal he expects the Creator to give him the desire to bestow? Maybe it’s a translation issue but it’s confusing?
R. I don’t know.
42. S. (01:28:12) I am first and I am last as a quality of the light or is it an attainment in the vessel or is it actually the work and the vessel?
R. It’s the Creator opening himself to the created being in such a way.
S. Meaning it’s a quality of the light?
R. Yes.
S. It’s above reason or what?
R. I answered you let others ask.
43. S. (01:28:54 We have a friend in the Ten who is going through sufferings? You said that we should take such sufferings on ourselves, how to do this?

44. S. (01:29:24) Is the purpose of our development to respond correctly to what we received from the Creator, so is what we receive from him, relative to what’s happening in the Ten and between the friends or beyond what’s happening in the group?
R. Mainly in the group.
45. S. (01:29:55) We learned that the inner work of the friends, the intention is concealed and here he writes that I see that my friends are working in Lishma and they are satisfied with that but it’s not giving me satisfaction, what does that mean?
R. They stop somewhere in the middle on the way and it doesn’t satisfy him.
S. If I may. It’s written about two paths, the path of Torah and the path of suffering. I think the path of suffering is some kind of preparation. Why is it listed as a path that leads to the goal?
R. Also the path of suffering will bring to a result just a very long path.
46. S. (01:30:56) When we reach equivalence of form do all of those scrutinies disappear?
R. No. we reach a summary and then we don’t need those scrutinies they remain but they remain as like components of that scrutiny.
