Lesson No. 3: The Prayer of Many ENGLISH

1. Rav’s Introduction: (01:18) Yes, first of all I’m very happy to see all of you. We are already in lesson number three out of four lessons in the Congress and I see how beautifully we are advancing this time more than at any previous Congress. The progress is really evident and felt it is already, already in our vessels, our spiritual vessels. Today, it is the topic is that everything is attained by the power of prayers, the most important, the central topic. We have nothing to which to influence the fate of all of reality, all the world’s the Creator but only with the power of prayer, our request and the request should be only that we will come to the complete state, the complete state or the state of completion, the completeness. Kabbalists explain that it is something that is not complicated it is difficult to attain but not difficult to understand, we need to simply unite together to be as one with one man with one heart because the heart is a desire and our desires, even though they’re different and even far and opposite from one another, they should try to be, to work in a direction of connection.

Let’s hope that we will understand the importance of connection and the Creator will certainly, He us, because His whole purpose, His hope with respect to us with respect to His children is that we would really want to unite, and return to that state of, ‘As one man with one heart,’ as we were in the beginning of creation before the breaking. We have only one means for this, to achieve this correction only through a request, through our prayer, when we raise our deficiency to the Creator and ask Him to make it possible for us to connect to be ‘As one man with one heart,’ to feel one another the way I feel myself, and not only not feel the differences between us, and that our bodies, our egos, will not separate us, this is really the correction we need to undergo. Let’s try that this is what will happen, to make this happen that we will all feel that we have to be together, and that there is no difference between one and the other, between countries, between nations, and other conditions that our egos position between us and by this, truly come into that system of Adam, man, singular and this is how we will feel that we are present and active in the spiritual world.

This is basically the topic of the lesson If we through our request to the Creator depict to us the correct states that will come that will come down on us that will connect us and embrace us, then through our request we force Him to make the connection between us so He will bestow upon us the power of connection, the power of bestowal on us in such a way that we will connect.

Let’s hope that it will happen and then with the feeling of connection between us we will begin to feel the other reality, the spiritual world. That we’re all connected together and no one feels himself but each one feels everyone and this is really that state as Adam HaRishon before he was broken and this is what we have to achieve this is called our correction to be, ‘As one man with one heart,’ Adam, one man, Adam and the heart is the desire. We will all unite together and we will have no other worry other than how to connect together and be in one desire, and in that desire we will discover the Creator according to the power, the intensity of the connection between us to the extent that we feel ourselves on the one hand far remote from one another and on the other hand drawn toward connection.

These two forces, contradictory forces, will give us the possibility to feel the spiritual reality which we are actually in but we don’t feel it. Anything that is in the chain is attained through its opposite, as it is written from something from one thing and it’s opposite, and this is why we need to even though there is a force of rejection between us, a force of remoteness, our habits which we constantly, that we constantly move away from each other if we don’t remember to forcefully bring ourselves closer to each other. We will make efforts and in this way we will come closer to the structure of Adam HaRishon and to be ‘As one man with one heart,’ and we will attain everything only through the power of connection between us, and to this connection we come to the power of prayer. We have no powers to connect, we have no abilities to be connected unless we ask the Creator and then to the extent that we influence Him. To that extent he begins to bring us closer, connect us and then we, in this connection between us, it is revealed. We reveal the Creator and also the entire spiritual world. Now, in that state that we are in, we feel the spiritual precisely through the connection between us and the connection between us is obtained by the power of prayer only, so let’s begin.

Reading Excerpts #1 (11:16) 1. RABASH, Article No. 7 (1986), “The Importance of a Prayer of Many” (Twice)

2. R. (13:51) We understand from this that all we need is to reveal the deficiency for connection between us and from the connection between us that the common deficiency will be revealed, a plea to the Creator to reveal to us how much we attain by being together and along with it how the Creator responds to us. In other words through the connection between us we attain everything.

3. S. (14:32) What is the prayer of many and how do I attain the time of goodwill, what is that?

R. A time of goodwill is the point of connection between us where we can through our requests touch the Creator and awaken in Him a deficiency, a desire to help us. There’s a general desire that the Creator is interested in helping us, wants to help us, that’s on the one hand. On the other hand, there’s a very special desire when we enter and create it, design it with our qualities to the extent that we demand, to the extent that we ask, to the extent that we turn to Him, to the extent that we know Him, how to turn to Him and in this way we gradually cause a connection between us and the Creator. This is basically our work.

Then when we can come to such a connection from between us to the Creator, that point of connection that we attain is called a time of goodwill, when there’s a desire on the part of people and there’s a desire on the part of the Creator and those two desires clothe one another and in this way we begin to feel each other Then the connection between us is called a Zivug, a coupling, meaning mutual connection, mutual bonding and through the mutual bonding we pass on to the Creator all of our passions, our desires, our requests and the Creator being the ‘good who does good’ streams to us His responses, meaning forces, understandings, such tendencies that build in us a connection both between us and between us and Him, the Creator.

S. We gather in a Ten and many times many times we gather and each one, we want to pray together but each one emerges with his own individual prayer, how do we have this prayer of many to be a united prayer?

R. Look, there’s a very special thing here, very subtle. On the one hand we hear what we have to do, we have to work with our hearts but the heart of each one is different from his friend’s heart. We can’t even compare them. It’s like saying that you taste something and you say it’s sweet, another person says it is sweet but it’s also a little sour and another one says it’s a little sweet and a little sour. You’re right but there’s something bitter in it and likewise each and everyone, the problem is that we cannot make comparisons whatsoever between the personal tastes that we feel and what actually happens.

We don’t have a measuring tool like a meter or a weight with which we can measure something that doesn’t belong to us, that we take as a standard, as a yardstick and use it this way. What happens here is that each one who connects to the other one, he connects to the others, wants to clear himself out for everyone so everyone will clothe in Him and in this way we will achieve connection, spiritual connection allows us to really become ‘As one man with one heart.’ Where what we feel, we begin to feel each one, the feeling the truth that exists in the connection between us and that truth even though it’s felt in each one according to his own vessels, it is also nevertheless felt as something general, common, it’s hard to explain it, you have to feel it and then we’ll understand it. So let’s continue scrutinizing.

4. S. (21:01) How to reach a state of urgency for a true lack such that it doesn’t let us sleep?

R. It comes to us over time through exercises in connection when we understand that our goal that we understand more and more that our goal is to be as Adam HaRishon is to correct a state of the shattering the system of Adam and return to the state that existed before he was broken which with respect to us, it means uniting “as one man with one heart” and then we come closer and become similar and connect closer and closer to each other and when we connect with each other when we come close to each other we begin to feel common desires, common forces. In this way we begin to scrutinize what it means to be Adam, one Adam, one man. Let’s try to work on it and feel what we get as a result of the connection.

The minute we begin to connect correctly within the connection between us we will begin to discover the Creator who is the result of this work of ours in connection and let’s hope that in this way we will continue and discover Him more and more and ourselves. We are the results of our connections and the Creator who fills us and we will feel how this whole structure is alive, working, changing and in its changes how it reveals to us, reveals to us its qualities, its desires, its goals until we become incorporated together in everything that happens to us and then we return to that system of Adam HaRishon before the breaking, before the sin and in this. We come to the complete correction between us and we acquire the form, the breaking, the sin and then this way we correct ourselves.

S. Do we reach this lack only by the stud? Or by participation with friends?

R. Both, through the participation of the friends we try to get closer to each other and through the study we are drawing on ourselves the reforming light, which shines on us. Then through these two tendencies from us to connect as much as possible and from above to draw on us the reforming light through these two actions we reveal ourselves as connected this is how we will reach the goal.

5. S. (26:11) When we participate in the Congress with a strong prayer can we know what part in the soul of Adam HaRishon we are building?

R. We are building the corrected structure of Adam HaRishon which is the result of the sin of Adam HaRishon which happened before our time. We don’t belong to that action when the Creator broke that structure in order to give us a place to be, to exist, to connect and to discover the whole of reality of all the worlds. Now we have to return to the state of the corrected Adam HaRishon and then we attain as is written 600 times more, meaning 600 times more than what was revealed to Adam HaRishon.

6. S. (27:47) Sometimes we’re asking for, we have a prayer that’s asking for the friends but after a short time we feel that we fell into our pride because the ego is stronger. How do we avoid falling further into the trap of the ego?

R. Only through connection between us, when each of us watches over everyone so we have between us a connection, the center of connection between us such that we worry only about that.

7. S. (28:50) If the transition of interaction between us and the Creator is between us and prayer then how will we combine this bond, this connection in prayer, what’s the crossing, what connects between them?

R. It’s actually very easy. We just like little babies. They want something so they’re drawn to what they want and they cry and they ask, so their deficiency is clear to you in that they want to realize their deficiency through their request. The same applies here, in other words, basically our spiritual work is very simple and direct work, as it is written I want both from the perspective of the Creator and from the perspective of the created beings. This is what we need to reveal the state, the desire for the corrected state.

8. S. (30:20) How to raise the sensitivity and the desire to give what the audience, what the public wants for me?

R. They want only one thing from you, that you will participate as part of Adam HaRishon and fill your place in the system. Only this they ask, that’s it. Or in other words, they turn to you and say be a man, be Adam HaRishon, that’s it.

9. S. (31:21) Connection between us, does it mean me, my ego, is that in my friends and in my surroundings?

R. Connection between us is the we between us or the incorporated from all the desires, thoughts hopes, everything that we can describe to ourselves of what is called connection. As much as possible more and more and more tighter between all its parts one tighter to another to the extent that we can bring ourselves tighter together then we’re building one Partzuf to another until we reach Ein Sof, [infinity.] There’s no difference between us entirely, entirely, we’re all connected together, ‘As one man in one heart.’

10. S. (33:00) By assembling by gathering deficiencies can we build that prayer to increase the sensitivity?

R. Of course, whatever you think is necessary for you need in order to attain the goal. That you want to receive in order to attain the goal, the goal of creation, the purpose of development you can you’ll be able to request it and you will receive it.

S. How do we know that it’s a request from the friend and not something I’m imagining?

R. It doesn’t even matter so much, that’s not so important to scrutinize all this. We don’t need to distance ourselves, to reject ourselves from the friends. We need to respect, to appreciate our friends more than ourselves and then everything will work out correctly.

11. S. (34:31) How do we turn the work in the heart of the friend into something simple, if I feel myself lost in the day-to-day war of life and on the other hand spirituality isn’t so inviting for me?

R. I think that specifically in this Congress, you can feel that we operate towards the one goal the direction of one goal and that we’re ready to connect and want to feel ourselves connected together without any difference. Then we’ll begin to feel a connection between us, the laws of the spiritual world, the rules of the spiritual world as much as that world is one world for everyone. Let’s make the effort on this and we will attain.

12. S. (36:13) The question is this, how do we shorten the time in order to reach a real prayer?

R. We need to do some work, all right, so what do you do? You make more of an effort and feel in it more energy and such it’ll fill up more quickly. It’s the same thing here. There’s no unique tricks here, so arrange ourselves, direct yourself all together in friendship and you’ll be able to quickly attain the sensation of the upper world, all right

S. Our Bnei Baruch group, in the background of what’s happening in the world, seems like a spiritual millionaires where the rest of the world is starving. We can ask for the friends that you will receive something very high which is the quality bestowed to the Creator but the others have no appetite for and no desire. How do we solve for that, what does the Creator want to say to us by this and how should we respond?

R. The Creator wants to tell you that you need to ask for your friends. First of all it will give you the opportunity to rise, even closer and then you will be able to receive everything that you want to pass on through you. ‘Come to Me,’ that’s what the Creator says, and you will receive everything that is necessary for your friends.

13. S. (38:40) I have a question: if only a part of the group is active and participates in the lesson and the other part is not as active, how can we come to a prayer that is common for everyone in such a state when you feel more for those who are more active?

R. Of course, it’s natural that we understand our connection with our local part of Bnei Baruch in the world but we’d have to reach connection with everyone. That ultimately what we do influences everyone and so to the extent that we can connect we need to do this and ultimately it, all will raise us at least to the first spiritual degree, that actually we are close to it. We need like half a stride, half a step, we’re like we’ve already placed the foot on the step but we need to pull ourselves onto that same degree and everything will be fine and then we’ll feel what that upper world is and how we can continue to rise to it.

14. S. (40:30) It was said earlier that all we need, what we need to do is to reveal the deficiency between us. Do we know, do we have an idea of what the deficiency is between us? If not, what do we have to do to raise such a deficiency between us?

R. A common lack between us it can be born only by the influence of the upper light we can connect we can’t connect one to the other together and then the upper light will illuminate between us and will bring us a lack and if we cannot do this then we ask and the Creator illuminates upon us a bit more and then we feel how much we lack to be connected with one another and that’s how we, we move forward, we move, we connect and we rise.

15. S. (42:00) It’s a group that’s now being formed from the Far East. In February we were together in our first mirror Congress and yesterday we were also together in a mirror Congress. Today we are a little more dispersed but we’re still trying to be as one complete thing. Let’s hope that we are together with you, with the whole world Kli, and with your prayers. The question is this: An amazing situation came up, there was a very powerful preparation, the Creator assembled us together. He rewarded us and gave us the privilege of speaking about such a powerful topic as prayer, and we feel that we can already process it, accept it, and we feel the tension that is in the world Kli. Everyone’s so inspired, they’re so into it, only one small thing seems to be missing so we can really play like one choir, one orchestra, either we don’t believe that we can or our expectations are for something else. I feel that you actually see where things have to be, but you’re waiting, you’re being silent about it, so can you give us a hint of what we’re missing?

R. You don’t lack anything. You are not missing anything other than together to ask of the Creator to connect all your desires and in connection. That’s one thing, that’s the first thing, that’s called the building of the vessel. The second thing that he will fill it with himself with his light it’s the same fill.

S. We will do and we will hear.

R. That’s what we need to do, (Omitted advice about the group’s name).

16. S. (45:03) You said that I have to give the friends a place to be incorporated in me and build a prayer out of this. Is this correct?

R. It’s done very simply like in our world, you want somebody to have room next to you, so you move aside a bit, you give him space to sit next to you. It’s the same thing in spirituality, move your ego aside a bit, allow the other’s ego to find, to take their place, and then partially, to a certain extent, from your ego, and from this new state, the state in which your egos connect- there you will work. And more, and more, and more, you will concede, one to another, until you will take up one place, one space.

S. But how do we do it through prayer? We are building one common desire.

R. That’s how you will ask. Just as you are here, that’s what you’re asking for.

S. What does it mean that I’m giving my friend a place within the prayer?

R. You think about him, he thinks about you. Together you think about your common state and that’s how you advance together.

S. Where’s the Creator here, from Whom are we asking, what, where is He?

R. The Creator is between you, where does He have to go? He has no other place.

17. S. (47:07) How can a little person find his place in such a powerful group? In other words, how can he have the confidence that his small desire can do any change together within the world Kli compared to the whole world Kli and get the prayer answered as well?

R. As much as we understand more, and more, and more, the building of the systems, even corporeal ones, even more so spiritual ones, we understand that everything depends on each and every part and the smallest part can cause us entirely, a complete change in the entire system. That the entire system is dependent even on the smallest part, thus, in spirituality there is no large or small, everyone is equal in spirituality. There is no cause and effect because they all exchange one another and another and there is no competition between them, let’s say, and that’s how we also in our groups and thus, we only need to make the effort to help one another.

18. S. (49:23) In the text we read that when one asks for the others. We see that if we’re asking for others we receive first, how do we connect this without falling into the ego?

R. If we want that the connection between us will spread to the entire reality we will never fall from bestowal to reception, never.

19. S. (50:22) We gathered here in Australia for the first time at a congress since Covid started and we’re all very excited here and with great joy. The question is: how do we concentrate, how do we focus above it, how do we shift it into internal concentration, internal prayer?

R. It all depends on you, how much you are excited, how much you understand that this is a big thing and there could be an opening to the sensation of the spiritual world. That we can now pass the border between the corporeal real and spiritual world and we can feel ourselves existing between the two worlds. I think this is a big thing, so please let’s make the effort and bring ourselves closer to spirituality.

20. S. (51:46) What do I need to do in order to agree with my friends and what do my friends need to do in order to agree with me?

R. Both they and you together or each one separately need to hold on to the purpose of life, the purpose of creation, the correction of creation, to be higher than everything you have in this world. Then for the connection and the purpose of creation you are ready for everything.

21. S. (52:54) If I pray for my own full correction, is that a prayer of many if I pray for less judgment and more mercy from me to others? Because that’s the only way I can connect. So shouldn’t we all start from ourselves individually and then you know be able to connect?

R. The prayer of many is the prayer for the many if you are praying for the general, is that clear?

S. Well that’s the way I’m going to connect to the many, because the problem is in me, it’s my judgment and not my mercy.

R. Correct.

22. S. (54:47) Hello Rav and wonderful friends. My question is: we learned that connection is the answer, it’s the question and early on you said that connecting correctly is all we need to do. So what exactly is connecting correctly?

R. Correct is that each one wants to help the other to realize the purpose of life.

23. S. (55:33) I heard you say that we’ve got one foot on that first step in spirituality. How can we pull ourselves up tonight, together when we’re all together in this Congress? How can we pull ourselves up into that step, that first step?

R. This is by connection between you, that you understand that nobody enters on their own, rather only together. As it’s written, ‘Each one will help the other,’ and thus, we need to help one another.

24. S. (56:37) I have a question to your previous answer to a friend who asked how can we help the friends when they pray for us and you answered that we should fill the space as we want to be Adam HaRishon. What did you mean by this, to be Adam HaRishon?

R. Adam HaRishon is that same system of the one soul before the shattering. That we need to feel that we’re in this system connected together, operating together, as inseparable parts in one body, that’s it.

25. S. (58:02) Thank you for this amazing Congress, thank you very much. The question is: How do we come to a state where we can realize, so that our children will live, so that before we ask for our lives, we will really be in genuine prayer for the friends?

R. This we need to work on this and we’ll attain. We’ll slowly, gradually get closer to this.

Reading Excerpt #2 (59:22)

26. S. (01:01:15) We learned, we’re learning now that we have to reach the spiritual structure of Adam HaRishon. You said that it’s also 248 times, can you explain?

R. No, it is just a number, it is a general number which we have to reach.

S. Which is something above, it’s a lot higher?

R. All the souls that are working in that, the one direction, to reach one goal, one light, they reach that intensity, that state that is called 620 times more than what they started with.

27. S. (01:02:25) Hello, thank you. We have this question from our Sao Paulo group. Can we ask for others through the right intention? Can we ask for the desire to ask for others?

R. Of course, they also say that the prayer for the others is implemented quicker than the prayer for yourself.

28. S. (01:03:19) My question is: with our ten we read the prayers a few times a day. One of the prayers is about the peace in the world. Can this be the prayer of many or is the prayer of many only the deficiency of the point in the heart?

R. That helps too, it also helps.

29. S. (01:03:49) My question is: when we’re praying for the friends, how much detail do we go into? Do we pray for the spiritual advancement only or the corporeal we pray for as well?

R. If we will reach prayers for spirituality all of the corporeality will also organize correctly, it will work out.

30. S. (01:04:41) Does the relationship that we want to have between the friends in the ten, is it the same intention that we have in our relationship with the Creator?

R. Yes.

31. S. (01:05:21) We’re talking from Vladivostok, we’ve gathered here all the friends and we have more friends in contact. My question is about the excerpt, it is written that the Creator crowns himself with the prayer because it rises in several manners, one for Hassidim and other one Gevurot. What does it mean and how can we practically organize a prayer so we can build a prayer of many out of it?

R. We are speaking practically about all that is in the articles of Rabash. We need to read these articles more and to try to take each and every article and realize it. Then we’ll know and we’ll see in which way it clothes in us and then gradually is implemented. That’s how it will be.

32. S. (01:06:54) It’s the first time for me to speak and I’m very excited. I have a painful question. I was looking at the Rav’s blog and you said more than once that we have to turn to the Creator out of our common desire. The question is not only what we’re asking, someone is asking for Hassidim or something else, the question is how can we turn to the Creator? There is the Siddur, a prayer book that was written by a great Kabbalist 2,500 years ago but we’re turning from our heart as you said. In our ten each one says one or two sentences but one of our friends has a fifteen sentence long prayer and you feel as if you’re reading the Siddur. I tried to talk to the student and she stopped talking to me and we have to support each other. My question is, how to relate to such a prayer and I have a great care for the fact that this friend is not speaking with me.

R. I would also disconnect any contact with you in that case. You don’t have to criticize others in this way, time will correct everything. The fact that you just read some lines from some prayer book or something it could be that it doesn’t help at all, people have been doing that for thousands of years. You have to read what’s in your heart.

33. S. (01:09:19) In order to reach the deficiency of the public must we first reach the deficiency of the friends in our ten and are these deficiencies built separately or at the same time?

R. They’re built in a way that in the near future we all have to connect. First of all, those who are in the same ten, then all other tens, then the whole world. That is the way we need to ask for also in such a gradual manner.

Reading Excerpt #3 (01:10:27)

34. S. (01:11:58) We have two questions from the campus. If the prayer is not for me, how can I change my future if I’m not praying for myself?

R. There is no such thing that a prayer is not for me. It could be that it’s not exactly what I feel this moment or that it belongs to me but truly the prayer is always from my deficiency too even though now it might not be so clear to me.

S. When we enter the world of Kabbalah what we discover is the feeling of separation in which we live. So how can we overcome it so it won’t cool us off, so it won’t cause us to be pushed away?

S. She’s asking when we start learning Kabbalah all the ego is revealed in us. How to make it so it won’t push us away?

R. We need to make sure that all our hearts will be connected and that in this way, we will ask from that one heart. First we connect the hearts or ask for the connection of the hearts and afterwards from the one heart we can raise a prayer to the Creator for help to correct that one heart and fill it with His presence.

35. S. (01:14:20) What is the difference between praying alone for others and praying together for everyone?

R. That is a very big difference. Prayer of the many is very important, it almost always brings results and that is why there is a big difference between the prayer of the individual and the prayer of the collective. We have to try and pray together.

36. S. (01:15:18) This question is asked by a friend from Iran. Is the intensity of the prayer growing when we’re trying to speak with the Creator or is it enough that we want from the bottom of our heart what is the right way to ask?

R. The right way to ask is everyone together from one heart.

37. S. (01:16:00) When it is written that the Messiah is the light that will come in the end of correction, can we say that the prayer of many is a kind of Messiah or the prayer like the Messiah?

R. The prayer of the many is a force that comes from the many and it works against that same force that brings us the sensation of the Messiah from the word Moshech, meaning it pulls the Creator and brings us closer to Him and in this way we reach a contact with the Creator.

S. Can we say that we as Israel can collect all deficiencies from the entire humanity and then that the whole world prays to the Creator through us because we collect their deficiencies and we are the one that are pulling this light?

R. Yes.

38. S. (01:17:43) Is there a payment, something in return for this prayer and is it faith?

R. Yes, that is correct. That is correct.

39. S. (01:18:27) Can it be that two friends perceive connection in a different way and if it is possible then the one that perceives connection in a deeper way suffers because that’s the way he sees connection? And if so, how to rise above this pain?

R. We always need to calculate for the collective, for the general vessel, for the correction of the world and not for my individual part because it disappears, today it exists and the next moment it is gone, that is why we need to calculate in a calculated way.

40. S. (01:19:45) The question from a friend in my ten: what does it mean to attain the sensation of the spiritual world?

R. That you attain the force that works on you for now, from a higher reality on you and you attain what purpose is it doing for and in which way it is best for you to respond to it in order to implement the upper desire of that force. That’s it.

41. S. (01:20:46) In the article it says that we should pray for the many. My question is: can the collective, can other people help us pray for them?

R. Try. What does it mean that the society will help? You are those building the society, build such a society between you, just like in the group, that the group will influence all its friends in a way that everyone will be drawn to the same idea, to the same goal and in this way you can advance.

S. In the prayer for the many, for the collective, how can we feel as deficiency others have?

R. The collective needs what the Creator wants from it, they don’t understand anything on their own. You don’t have to ask them about anything, you have to know what the Creator wants, the Creator wants all the collective, all society to connect and that the Creator’s desire will be in the society, then it will be a successful society.

42. S. (01:22:35) This Congress is felt as Hassidim by the Creator, something good. How can we keep it, appreciate it and understand the states so we can advance on?

R. Hold on to the friends, especially the ten and afterwards the broader circles. The most important thing is to hold the connection in your ten.

43. S. (01:23:17) When we pray in our Ten I discover that this prayer is not in my heart, I don’t feel it and it’s hard for me to turn to the Creator with it. So the question is: how to make the common prayer by our Ten to really dwell in our hearts?

R. We need to prepare ourselves well for such states that we want to connect by certain excerpts by Kabbalists to feel what they want to give us, in which way we have to respect them, in which way we need to ask them to help us, to help us to such an extent that we can rise to the degree of the upper Force, the Creator, and there we will be able to connect between us and with Him and in this way we’ll attain the meaning of life. We reached a stage in our history that nothing helps us except for the Creator giving us a bit of forces called light, that He will connect between us and want to be with us, to be with us in all our states meaning that also this way He’s with us but we want to discover Him, that He’s with us through all these states. In this way He comes closer to us.

44. S. (01:26:00) Why Is the Creator’s answer received after some time?

R. Because this is how we respond, this is the way we respond. And if we would organize ourselves to respond correctly so it would be opposite, we would first get an answer from the Creator before we even ask. Just like it is written ‘before they called I will answer’, that’s what we need to reach, that’s what we have to get to, that we know in advance the Creator’s response that’s called his mouth and heart are equal and a few more of those sayings, that in that way we can advance, that we will understand the Creator before His acts.

S. Is it us lagging?

R. The reason is from our lack of connection, that first we ask and afterwards we get an answer and when we’re in connection, so even if we ask and when we hear the answer it comes at the same time. It is like it is written that’s both at the same place… now I can’t, I can’t say it now. Well, it will come.

45. S. (01:28:37) How can we know that we are really going to rise to a spiritual degree like you said if not all the friends participate in the workshops and prayer and if so it is just an individual perception?

R. It is an individual perception but also group perception and I really hope that you’ll understand how important it is to bow down your head and to take upon yourselves what the group decides and what it keeps. And I recommend for you very much to be cautious not to miss any group actions only under the condition that you need to do some more important spiritual action only then maybe, maybe, it is permitted not to do an action with the group.

46. S. (01:30:14) We need advice, we need your help. I heard from one of the friends that she doesn’t feel connection in the Ten, she doesn’t feel that we are together, she doesn’t feel that everyone invests everything she can so then I see myself, what did I do wrong in order to correct it. Why is it happening to me? And the second question is: how can we connect after that? With that same friend and really pray for that, for the whole Ten, because I also think we’re not connected enough?

R. Well, okay, it’s pleasant to hear such serious questions, especially it’s pleasant to see when the friends are standing in the background of our building.

S. Please help us, advise us?

R. I would like you to keep on going a little bit. The result will be that this state won’t be like suffering or torment for you, it will be pleasure, so that you will feel that only in the address to the Creator what you’re feeling is becoming something good, warm then we’ll fall into place.

S. Thank you teacher, after your words everything becomes one.

47. S. (01:32:21) In the article is written, ‘As He is merciful, you will be merciful, too.’ What does it mean to be merciful as the Creator?

R. To try to elevate yourself to the degree of bestowal.

S. (No Translation)

R. To set an example, one for the other, that’s called, ‘one should help his friend.’

48. S. (01:33:21) There has been no other Congress since I am in Kabbalah, more than ten years, that I felt this is the distance, the separation between me and others, when you feel the imprisonment of the ego between you and your sisters like I heard yesterday. My German sisters were kind in a meeting that we had. I felt nothing other than seeing them crying and I have more questions for the Creator: what was the state that we were before we got to this shattering that we don’t even feel each other anymore? What is the prayer that we can raise for us to feel each other, feel the cry of each other? I have never felt the distance between myself and my sister like I felt in this Congress?

R. This is the recognition of evil. Here you feel who you are according to your nature, is this clear? That you didn’t think about yourself, that you are so corporealized, so prideful, so egoistic and now you discover this. Now the question is as you discover this, how do you accept it? Some states you may say, okay, that is what I am, what can I do, the Creator made me this way, so go to the Craftsman who made me and maybe you can’t accept it and you cry. And in some states you’re angry back at the Creator. Why did You do that? Why did You make me this way? Sometimes you are saying thank you to the Creator for making me this way, but now I may get to know and recognize how far I am from You and I can ask for correction, and more, and more. There are many states in it that the person can discover with respect who he is. That is why I think all in all, I’ll tell you, all in all, you are developing so nicely. In the past, previous congresses, I’m very pleased with you, very pleased, really. Not only you, of course, it’s connected to all the environment, but certainly the development is very nice, very nice. I love you.

49. S. (01:37:39) In order to reach true prayer for the collective we need to take the control of the collective upon you?

R. Yes.

S. And a desire for that is enough to take that control over you. What do I have to do to get there?

R. It is written, ‘I dwell among My people,’ this means within My people, within the public, within the group, within the whole world, that’s where the desire of the Creator lies, the Creator’s relation, attitude. This is how we need to relate to our society. So let’s accept it because it’s not mere desires that connect it somehow in a random way, but rather these are desires that are becoming the upper desire.

50. S. (01:39:08) We all feel each other and like a separated egoistic state we see everyone as separated and that is supposedly a false state and we know there is a state Shechina, where we all connected and it also exists in conventions we even feel a bit of what it is, so prayer for the collective, is that when I ask for the false state to disappear, that in our perception of the separated state we will all feel the state of the Shechina the true state? Meaning that all of society will feel that we’re one whole is that the prayer of the collective?

R. Yes.

S. Where is my place because the ego is always searching for a place in this system?

R. The ego needs to make an effort to such an extent to enter good relations between each other. So we really do drown there so we’ll stop feeling ourselves. Instead of that only the general field, common field of good that will be the connection with the Creator. This will be the connection with the Creator.

51. S. (01:41:37) I am very excited. Does my personal prayer, is it always affected from my connection in the ten and the friends and in that way could it turn into collective prayer?

R. Yes, yes. Only a collective prayer is what we want to pass on to, to shift towards this collective prayer, so we can feel that all of us, we are this way.

52. S. (01:42:33) If our friend is at home alone, can he still pray for the ten?

R. Yes, but I don’t know if he will have the strength. We’re not sure how he will have the strength.

53. S. (01:43:10) What prevents us from feeling our mutual heart?

R. That we can’t really open ourselves up, this common heart exists, it’s not that we need to build it now bit by bit we build it for many many months already, it exists. The problem is that we don’t have enough sensitivity to perceive this heart, to feel it and to connect with it. I really hope that we will come to that.

Reading excerpt #4 (01:45:09) “One must not exclude oneself..” twice.

54. S. (01:47:08) Here in Germany the feeling of the physical Congress brought emotions that are hard to express in words. A very strong desire to pass this feeling on exists, so what is this state? How can we pass these feelings if we don’t have words for it?

R. You’ll never have enough words, we simply need to be closer to each other in our hearts and then it will pass from one heart to the other.

55. S. (01:48:03) When I came here, I got lost, the bus left me somewhere but the friends were connected in such a state above reason very strongly and we don’t want to lose this feeling of the awareness of the Creator, so how to hold this happiness in unity we have with all the people here that are present?

R. You need to make more and more efforts to connect. I feel today the intensity of the connection between us a few times more than we were in yesterday, yesterday we had happiness because we’ve come to the Congress but today now we feel how the upper light starts working in us and how much it’s starting to change us to mix us up just like we’re making a salad, so that’s how He’s mixing us. One with the other, one with the other, and this is, and we start to taste that the general flavor of our incorporation and it’s completely different if we compare it to each and every one. It’s not Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, Yechida, it’s NRNHY, and also what does it mean instead of Nefesh, to feel wind, it’s incorporation all ready, and then Neshama also Yechida, these are all incorporations there are no new lights here, there’s more and more incorporation, that’s why the light that’s being revealed is more intensive. I really hope that we will feel this way.

56. S. (01:50:50) We read that the prayer of the many is when we pray for the collective, so when we disseminate to the many should we hold this prayer and if so how?

R. Yes, you are in the collective that’s right, that’s why dissemination is so important. I see groups that have work in dissemination and some groups don’t want to disseminate for various reasons. The groups that don’t want to disseminate, bit by bit, they simply wither, they descend and the groups that do want to disseminate they rise more and more, we must not forget about dissemination, it’s very, very important.

S. Should we ask for these groups for these friends that are not disseminating?

R. Yes, we need to help them both with prayers and in practice.

57. S. (01:52:20) The Creator gives His abundance to the collective whole, so the one who stands with the collective whole means with his environment will receive a little from this abundance and the whole will receive the abundance?

R. He will receive the abundance once he’s part of the collective otherwise he won’t have a vessel. It’s clear and to the extent that he will be able to rise in the ladder of degrees in the worlds, all that depends on how much he’s incorporated in the collective Nefesh is in the world of Assiya, Ruach is already in the world YetziraNeshama which is in the world of Beria, etc. Meaning when he rises, he rises out of his incorporation with the rest of the souls and the rest of the intensity and only here depends, his spiritual degree depends only on this.

58. S. (01:54:20) In most of our texts we read about the Hassadim that the Creator has, what other Hassadim should we expect for when we, from the Creator, when we raise the prayer of many?

R. We want to receive the quality of love, both with respect to the Creator and between us for everyone that the quality of love will fill us.

59. S. (01:56:39) We feel a deficiency for annulment. Is it right to ask to be as a conduit in a way that the whole vessel will be blessed and how to attain it to be a conduit?
R. How to attain it, we build it, we build this conduit from us to the Creator, out of our connection and this conduit is there already and all we are lacking is to strengthen it a little bit towards the Creator. Meaning we’re lacking more of the quality of bestowal and then we will start feeling everything, I see that info is already there, so I gladly pass on the microphone to them.

Workshop: Summarize the lesson in the Tens.

Workshop: Share in the Tens the force of connection that is in this convention.

60. R. (02:13:37) I think it’s something you should ask yourselves how we can raise a sensitivity, how we could connect more, how in the connection between we discover our future states and  from that bestowal from our general state on each and every one of us that’s also something that we should discuss now, but I am really very happy with you and satisfied. I’m filled with this feeling of connection and closeness, and I have no other way to express it but I just really love you all and I hope we’re breaking through, going forward and advancing. We’re moving, we are taking all the disturbances away, advancing towards connection and the Creator inside. Good luck and we’ll meet in the next lesson.

61. S. (02:14:48) Only one thing is clear to us, that there are more scrutinies, more room we need to clear for the Creator, and only one thing is probably important to keep on going. Thank you, friends.

62. S. (02:15:40) For us it’s really difficult to express the love that we feel here, and we heard that we all melted in Chile and Argentina are connected as one, our connection gets so, gives so much light to the nations and thanks to this Congress will keep going and be strong and united. Thanks to you all. L’Chaim.

63. S. (02:16:13) It’s amazing that we talk about connections above time and space. We, the African people, decided to go to Ethiopia to meet our brothers and we’re so happy that we’re reunited again. All I can say is that there’s no difference with ethnicity, there’s no difference with our nationality, we are just one Adam HaRishon and we should open our hearts more to embrace this great opportunity above time and space. Thank you Bnei Baruch. Thank you to our Rav. L’Chaim.

64. S. (01:17:32) We’re actually very excited because it’s the first time that Peru is represented here and truthfully I have no words to express this feeling that so many feelings, the combination with the friends from Peru and Ecuador, and we have this mutual sensation and unity of the prayer that everyone is for everyone, in one heart. Thank you very much. I love you so much, L’Chaim.

65. S. (02:18:33) As I hear the friends speak, it really warms a common heart of all of us and especially in such an amazing and special Congress. If we look at all of us, I think that one of the things that are common to all of us is that on the way when the point in the heart awakened in us we found ourselves going into the group and starting a process of getting to know the Wisdom of Kabbalah. We all went through and we’re still going through, but I think that almost everyone went through an educational process learning the fundamentals of Kabbalah, getting to know each other and the Rav and the writings and the path and we started climbing, bit by bit, it’s a gradual state you learn and you get guidance from friends, who were a moment before us came to this Wisdom and helped us advance.

If we looked at it in Russian, many friends went through the Academia called MAK and in English, it’s called KabU, and in Spanish is called Estudio… and in Israel it’s called Kabbalah Laam Campus and yesterday we heard about the process from an administrator how this process is starting in Asia and basically we all went through this process and we’re still going through it and many more will follow us and enter this process. We’ve prepared a video clip that will give us a taste of how this process started in Israel, The Kabbalah Laam College, and I can say more than 50,000 students studied in it in the past twenty years, so let’s be touched by this process we all go through together. Let’s thank the Creator for the opportunity to walk together on the path and let’s watch the clip.
