1. R. Rav reads: The prayer has to be a whole prayer from the bottom of the heart. The prayer must be a complete prayer from the bottom of the heart, this means that one knows 100% that there is no one in the world who can help him but the Creator himself. Yet how does one know this? That no one will help him but the Creator himself? One can acquire that awareness precisely if he has exerted all the powers at his disposal and it did not help him. That was one must do every possible thing in the world to obtain for the sake of the Creator. Then one can pray from the bottom of the heart and then the Creator can hear his prayer.

Rav reads again: The prayer must be a complete prayer, a request for the Creator, it needs to be complete, what does it mean? From the bottom of the heart. What does that mean? This means that one knows 100% that there is no one in the world that can help him but the Creator himself. Yet how does one know this, that no one will help him but the Creator himself? One can acquire that awareness precisely if he has exerted all the power at his disposal, everything and it did not help him, meaning that he reaches total final despair, zero, none, nothing. Thus one must do every possible thing in the world to attain for the sake of the Creator, invest everything then if you invest everything one can pray from the bottom of the heart and then only then the Creator hears his prayer. Meaning the way is actually very simple, no Partzuf, no Olamot, worlds, we should know about it a bit just in order to know what we are included of. What preparations we have inside and it is all in one confusion and the shattering. But eventually we need one thing that we need to always yearn and yearn for connection and get disappointed from it. Until we reach a state that only the Creator can connect between us and then we explode in a true prayer and the Creator will hear our prayer.

2. S. (05:19) It gives the impression that it is all opposite to our intellect, until like normally when a person goes to the pray, he attains it here he is telling me now go first of all get despaired, let him break you.

R. Do you want something?

S. Yes, I’m asking why do you have to come to despair completely?

R. So that is enough, he has a nice question and a short one. He is asking why do I need to be completely shattered in order to ask in the right way and then the Creator will answer. Why do I need to be completely shattered? What does that mean that I know that I myself cannot do anything and no one can do anything but the Creator himself and then I feel that I am before him naked and asking him in all my forces, also I do not have forces and I do not understand in no form because I have asked for thousands of times and nothing has helped me but now I reach a state from a complete zero, that I cry out and this cry works on the Creator, it influences him and then he hears.

S. So what does he need that for?

R. That is something else. We are learning here what the conditions are, what state we have to reach in order to receive help and correction from the Creator that is it. More than that there is nothing to ask. You reach that and you will understand more.

3. S. (07:20) I have a question about the process and where we exert all of our powers to get to this broken state. In this process to get to this broken state are also states where there is a lot of darkness and confusion, can you perhaps open up this bit so that we will not get so lost towards this broken state because I have the feeling that we lose a lot of time?

R. No, no. If we will not be lost there will not be a shattered state. Every time we need to feel as much as we are low, worthless, miserable, do not understand that we have nothing and there is no chance and the confusion is way beyond our heads. Every time more and more and a person needs to go through even a moment or a bit more by not knowing what to do, what will be with me, nothing. Then in such a way he corrects that part of the shattering and then starts supposedly as if to do something as if he has more hope and more and more until it comes again the feeling of the shattering, of hopelessness and so on and many times in this way until he reaches a state that he has nothing anymore, zero. That is the state, there is no happier state in a man’s world except for one despaired of his own forces. Then he has nothing to do and his cry is true and not like a baby just crying every moment as if he lost his whole world then the Creator can hear your prayer.

S. So these stages should also be for us as new each time?

R. Yes of course. The despair is new every time, it is deeper. It is more confusing, more helpless that there is no hope. That there is no hope and I just want to run away but where can we run to, maybe I’ll do this and that but nothing will help and so on. Only to get stronger in the group that feeling inside, the knowing inside that we must keep going in this despair together even though it is difficult, to try and try every time and to keep going then we will reach a state that we will all be despaired at the same time in the same state and that is wonderful. A complete despair and then we will ascend from it.

S. Perhaps it is not for now but you open up a lot of questions because to come in this mutual despair I need to share something on my inner work or not?

R. No, no, those are additional questions, that is later on. I like speaking from the practical side of things. For now let us advance in a way where each and every one overcomes his personal despair, do not bring the others into despair, do not incorporate it in a mutual despair, there is no such thing yet, wait and then we will see. If we need it, we will do it, so not now.

4. S. (12:01) I wanted to be more precise if inside I’m despaired to a certain extent in order to draw the others to it so externally I demonstrate joy, I participate actively, but inside I am in despair because in our world it means I cannot participate in the workshop, I cannot wake up the lesson?

R. You overcome yourself and you are filled with forces of hope and inspiration and you keep going and inside you are in a struggle with your despair.

5. S. (12:51) This matter of despair I see that many friends are really running away when they see a certain project in Bnei Baruch and they are always being famous for the Creator and they did it for their ego and then they run away like a dog between his feet. How can you protect them?

R. Talk about it beforehand and speak about it between you, about these states that can happen and how we need to overcome it, still also talk about it.

6. S. (13:44) All of these powers at my disposal if I exert all of these, what are these powers? Is this the prayer he is speaking about, these powers at my disposal?

R. I need to invest all of my forces for advancement that are in my hands and if I see that it does not help me, so not to despair and to understand beyond all these forces what am I going to discover, that I can do it for the sake of the heavens and not for myself. Then I can get forces from above because I do not have spiritual forces to bestow and I ask the Creator to give me forces to bestow that I want to work outside of me. Meaning that point of despair is very important, it is a passage, a transition from working with my egoistic desires and working with the desires that I received from the Creator, forces of bestowal. Try and establish that and then you will see how it works.

S. What are these forces that I am given to work with, how do I know when I am working, that will get me to despair?

R. No, I do not put the ego before me to get me to despair, I put a goal before me to connect, to build a place to reveal the Creator in order to give them contentment. I want to see before me a group that realizes the purpose of creation, that in the group, I’m not speaking about humanity, wars and all kinds of problems, I’m speaking about the group. We want to put together between us in the group such a framework that the Creator can here, reveal himself, that is it.

S. So does everything that I’m given, that I see is towards connection, if I work towards that then these are all the powers that I’m given at my disposal?

R. Yes of course, of course and then when you reach despair so the despair is the right kind but you do not relate to the despair, you do not come near the despair, you come near the connection and then the despair comes on its own, if it comes.

7. S. (17:10) It seems like it is impossible to exert all of the powers at my disposal so I am wondering if I misunderstand, so can you explain what exactly it is to exert all power, how it is done?

R. We just need to work not to be wise, this work and that, not and half yes and half no, we just have to invest all of our forces in the connection between us until we discover the Creator in the connection in between us. That is it.

8. S. (18:13) Is the prayer the awareness that the moment in the intellect of nature of a person being opposite to the Creator?

R. Yes, very nice.

9. S. (18:30) How is it correct throughout the day, how should the ten work on these excerpts in order to come to the right prayer?

R. Just to want to connect between you, between us. Inside to want without any corporeal discernment men, women and other discernments more human that we only want to connect an our desire before this world was created, before we descend from the spiritual world into the corporeal we need to establish ourselves supposedly as belonging to a spiritual world where there is no difference in all of the differences between us but we are all, we will all incorporate in it in the upper force.
