RECITATION BEFORE THE TIKKUN RACHEL AND TIKKUN LEAH:

Psalms Chapter 102 תְּהִלִּים

יב  יָמַי, כְּצֵל נָטוּי;    וַאֲנִי, כָּעֵשֶׂב אִיבָשׁ.

12 My days are like a lengthening shadow; and I am withered like grass.

TIKKUN RACHEL:

Psalms Chapter 137 תְּהִלִּים

ה  אִם-אֶשְׁכָּחֵךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָם–    תִּשְׁכַּח יְמִינִי.

5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

Psalms Chapter 79 תְּהִלִּים

ב  נָתְנוּ, אֶת-נִבְלַת עֲבָדֶיךָ–    מַאֲכָל, לְעוֹף הַשָּׁמָיִם;
בְּשַׂר חֲסִידֶיךָ,    לְחַיְתוֹ-אָרֶץ.

2 They have given the dead bodies of Thy servants to be food unto the fowls of the heaven, {N}

Isaiah Chapter 52 יְשַׁעְיָהוּ

ב הִתְנַעֲרִי מֵעָפָר קוּמִי שְּׁבִי, יְרוּשָׁלִָם; התפתחו (הִתְפַּתְּחִי) מוֹסְרֵי צַוָּארֵךְ, שְׁבִיָּה בַּתצִיּוֹן. {ס}

2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. {S}

TIKKUN LEAH:

Psalms Chapter 24 תְּהִלִּים

ה  יִשָּׂא בְרָכָה, מֵאֵת יְהוָה;    וּצְדָקָה, מֵאֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעוֹ.

5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
