Part 1:

Passover – Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (For Lack of Spirit and for Hard Work. #111)

1. Rav’s Introduction: We think that the Passover is actually some special period or special time, of course it is but it is the closest thing to us because here is where the spiritual work begins, the entry into feeling the upper world and the revelation of the Creator. The whole process we have been through thus far up to the entry into Passover was not a process, it seemingly didn’t yield any fruits that are visible whereas now we are entering more tangibly in a way that is more palpable into connection between us and from between us to the Creator. So all of those states, we call them the exodus from Egypt, the holiday of Passover.

So what is connected specifically to us is that this whole holiday symbolises the beginning of the connection that there is in that broken vessel of Adam HaRishon which the Creator deliberately broke. And we are beginning to collect the pieces and reconnect them together into one vessel where accordingly the Creator is revealed. We want to do this between us and for the first time actually in history, to do this here and now in this world. It may seem unrealistic to us, who are we after all but this is what is happening. The Creator is operating on us and we all need to agree with everything that will happen, to accept it as a blessing. Our whole work is called the work of the Creator, not the work of Bnei Baruch or others, only the work of the Creator. We want, agree, ask and expect that He will connect us and fill us with His quality. This will be called the upper world and then we will see all of reality, the corporeal and the spiritual as one that governs everything.

Reading 111 (03:39)

2. S. (08:58) This hard work a permanent thing or is it periodic?

R. It’s temporary, it’s a period until we begin to have contact, connection with the Creator, with the higher world; when we begin to understand where we really need to be, where we should yearn. How when we get some appreciation of all of our labor then accordingly the work becomes not work but actually pleasure, a delight. But in the beginning it’s unclear. We have to make efforts by time, through an alarm clock, all kinds of reminders that remind us we have to come back to our thinking about bestowal, that we have some connection with the friends, with the Creator. And specifically in the connections between us we will discover the upper force. We don’t really feel it, that’s the problem because we are feeling beings and we don’t feel that there is a connection between the spiritual world and what we are doing. But after some time it disappears, this lack of connection and we begin to understand and feel more and more, to detect that there really is a connection, that we are influencing the Creator, the upper world through the friends and in this way we will advance.

S. What if the person sees that he is a regressing everyday?

R. He needs to check in what exactly is he regressing. Perhaps it’s because he had all kinds of selfish tendencies of this world and if they come off of him, if he is in a descent then it’s actually not that he’s not progressing, it’s actually advancement. It may be values. Perhaps all his life he’s been living with values that are completely not spiritual and now he’s gradually replacing them with spiritual values. So sometimes when he remembers his previous values then it seems to him that he’s going down, that it’s disappearing from him etc. The important thing is to continue in several essential things, connection with the study, connection with the friends and to constantly, every single day try to open another article, another part in the spiritual work and in this way see, see yourself.

3. S. (13:28) The connection between our efforts and how we influence with our efforts the connection and the spiritual world, that’s what will make our work not hard?

R. Yes because it all depends on the appreciation. If for example now I’m beginning to study how to be something big, they’re beginning to prepare me to become an astronaut, to fly into outer space to the stars or something. I know that it takes several years and there are many things I need to learn, many professions. And along the way there are certainly ups and downs and perhaps after several years they give me such exercises that I will not be able to do physically, and then I’ll be taken off the whole program. But I agree to all of this in advance although I will really regret it afterwards, but I really agree in advance and I go into it.

S. What does it mean that we will see this connection? Let’s say we’re approaching connection in the ten, what do we see?

R. We need to come to a state where we in the ten discover the connection between us and the most important is the quality of the connection between us. By this we’ll begin to discover the qualities of the spiritual vessel. It is the connection between the Keter, Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malchut, the connection between these discernments, these phases, these Sephirot. Then we will begin to understand how we are connected to each other and to what extent we can change or be changed by changing these connections. Then we truly enter as if into space, when we fly in a spaceship where to the extent that we change the relationships between us, each toward the others accordingly we’re basically driving, governing our ship. And this is how we are advancing towards feeling the Creator.

4. S. (17:09) It is clear that despair from the inner efforts and intentions advances us to ask more and more correctly. I wanted to ask what is the benefit of physical fatigue, lack of sleep and tiredness? How does that advance us and how can we overcome the great physical fatigue we acquire over the years?

R. The truth is we already know from experience that physical tiredness or fatigue depends on the mood although we truly are troubled many hours everyday with spirituality. But we have to make a calculation to what extent and how we can be in this in such a way that it will not influence our health. It won’t influence our health, I promise you this. I have never seen throughout the 35 or 40 years that I’ve been studying the wisdom of Kabbalah and have been in spiritual work, I have never seen one case where it harmed a person. It cannot happen because a person is making an effort to approach the upper light, the one positive force that exists in reality. But we still need to make the right calculations and give the body, the person’s beast, give it some time to rest, to feed it properly, to take care of it, to put it to sleep. Every person has to take care of his body.

5. S. (19:38) The love we feel towards the ten, the inspiration we feel in the lesson and all the activities we do it shows us the world is another expression of the Creator. It’s like He wants to give His importance to the world which is something we may have neglected and these are feelings we’ve forgotten like the good attitude to family and so forth. Do we need to bring these feelings towards the ten in in order to increase our connection?

R. Not really. We have to learn these things from Rabash’s articles about the friends, about connection with the friends and out of this we advance. The rest of the things will fall into place through the reforming light that we position, that we create above us, that we bring above us. This is how it works.

6. S. (21:26) How to convince the body to do hard work or not to do hard work?

R. To the extent you’re connected to the friends the body learns from them that it too needs to do those things it learns from them.

7. S. (21:51) You opened by saying that we have to reach the work of the Creator. Now from this hard work, this transition to the work of the Creator where is the entrance?

R. All of it is called the work of Creator. If we want to discover and come closer to the Creator it’s called the work of the Creator.

Reading 112 (22:18)

8. R. (23:58) It really is hard work because all of my desires, my nature, my habits are all about how to do something for my own sake automatically, instinctively. And suddenly I have to see how I do things that are opposite so of course it’s hard work, it’s unpleasant, it’s repulsive and I don’t know what to do in order to somehow advance toward doing it on the one hand; on the other hand not to run away, not to run away from the work, from the efforts. How can a person do something that he doesn’t want to do? So we are told if you come into a group and connect to it by this you are drawing the reforming light. Then this light corrects you and you will suddenly want to do things, to be in states that you previously didn’t want that were previously against your ego. And now you agree with it because the light that shines on you gives you an appreciation of the qualities of bestowal that you didn’t have before. This is why you agree this, it’s called the reforming light.

9. S. (26:16) You said before that we’re kind of sailing in a spaceship inside the ten. What makes us from being managed to managers?

R., The fact that we check the relationships between us and want to change them all through unity. We ask and pray to come into an increasing connection and unity between us.

S. What’s turns the hard work to easy work, to enjoyable work?

R. It’s all according to the desire. There are such works in the world that seem to me very difficult but if I get some drive to do them or if I feel that I will receive some special payment in return then the work becomes easy. It’s just like he says about the suitcase in that story. If you take a suitcase of an important person then it doesn’t seem heavy to you. It all depends on the appreciation and the appreciation depends on the number of people in the group or in the society in general and how much they appreciate, how much they all want to recognise the greatness of where they are.

10. S. (28:06) It says that the person should believe that he is making progress even though he sees that he’s not.

R. Because in the beginning of the way he doesn’t see that he’s advancing although he is. He still has the old values of advancement and this is why he only needs to believe that he really actually is making progress.

S. What is this instruction you should believe? If he’s told invest in the ten regardless of what you see that’s clear but what is this concept of one should believe?

R. Should believe meaning he should take into consideration not his own values but the values that are above him: teachers, friends, veterans. See how they measure their work and their advancement. And if you do the same then you will see that you are actually rising.

11. S. (29:14) How can we differentiate between the progress we lack according to the wisdom of Kabbalah that we regress and the lack of progress that comes from not working correctly?

R. I’ll tell you. If you are in a ten and you’re somehow connected to them I don’t think you’re not advancing, it only seems to you like you’re not advancing. You depicted to yourself how you advance in a more sensed, tangible, palpable way but it’s not exactly so, it happens. We need to understand that spiritual work is not the way it is in this world where we are used to making efforts and getting payment. We will learn some more, work some more and then we’ll begin to acquire such values that belong to the spiritual work, to the spiritual process. We’ll begin to detect that we are really are making progress. According to what? That’s what we have to learn, according to what do we detect that we’re advancing from day to day?

12. S. (31:01) The work that’s difficult is like a compass. The question is how to help each other make this step of shutting our eyes and taking upon ourselves the burden of the kingdom of heaven?

R. There are such steps in spiritual work where we have to close our eyes not to make any calculations but seemingly move mechanically without any feelings because all our work is actually against our feelings, against our will to receive and therefore sometimes we have to do this. How do we nevertheless advance here? First of all we help each other. This is like the rules when I look at others and envy, lust and honor pull me to be like my friends. Besides as Rabash writes in the social articles we need to set an example to each other, that we are working and working willingly and persistently in order to awaken in the friends those qualities. This is what we need to do and also when we get together we need to talk about the greatness, the importance of our work. Out of the entire planet which is like a spaceship only we are governing it, running it, driving it toward the right goal, our small group.

13. S. (33:35) The efforts in the hard work become habit so the question is, habit is acquiring faith in the work or growing weaker?

R. Habit in the work comes to us by organising all of our systems, emotional and physical, everything we can at home, at work, in all kinds of places so they become more connected and more connected to the spiritual work.

14. S. (34:27) Can you explain what is love of others, what is the meaning of it between us? How to approach love of others?

R. Start thinking about how without the friends you can’t achieve the goal and then you’ll see how much you have to appreciate the others who are going along the way with you, how dependent we are on each other. If we are going into the mountains or something then it’s clear, then we see how the friends work together in one connection. If we’re going to spirituality it’s not clear during the day where they are, how much they think of you, at least to the same extent you think about them.

15. S. (35:41) What to do if the work in the ten becomes static for a long time, that that friends don’t influence me? Is it a problem with me or do I have to invest more in the friends or change something in our relationship?

R. It all depends on you. It all depends on how much the spiritual goal is important to you so you don’t finish your life like an animal but come to a state where you go out to a different level of perception of reality, the upper world, the upper force. So it’s worthwhile for you to come closer to the friends and bow before them and do what they want from you.

S. So there’s nothing to add really just to lower myself?

R. Then you will attain, not before. Before you have to do the work and then accordingly you will begin to attain spiritual degrees.

16. S. (37:01) So the work is not difficult. How can we receive strength from the ten?

R. In order for this work not be difficult you have to divide the work among the entire group and you don’t do this division by yourselves. You connect among you and when you study together, talk to each other and try to move forward together the work becomes divided among everyone according to the character, strength and other qualities of each one. This is what you need to do. To create such a connection of your work that it’s divided between you by itself and then it is not going to be difficult and you reach the goal quickly.

17. S. (38:24) Is it correct if I measure my advancement according to how much reflected light I generate in my vessel?

R. No you cannot measure it because you still don’t have the tools to measure and you don’t know the reforming light, how it’s felt, how it’s revealed in you. This is still ahead of you but soon it will become revealed and you learn from it everything practically.

S. Can we say when a person feels that he is kicked out from sensation actually the vessel is consolidating power for the next degree, can you say it this way?

R. Yes, this is how it happens.

18. S. (40:00) How can I see my work clearly in the ten? How can I help my friends so they help me? I don’t see this work in the friends that they can help me go against my nature, I don’t see these actions in the ten. I only see them in the lesson and after the lesson but I don’t feel that they are actually helping me go against my nature.

R. You cannot see how much they help you go against your nature because these things for now are concealed from you. So you need to believe that as you come closer to them and help them you get from them in return the power and they participate with you in your work. This is what the Kabbalists write for us and it’s even like that in our world.

19. S. (41:44) If a person doesn’t know if he’s advancing or not is it correct for him to ask the ten and scrutinize together with the friends and in this way get answers?

R. You can do that but even if he simply annuls, surrenders to the friends then he begins to advance with them at the same pace that they do. It’s like a drive gear in a car. If he puts himself in work together with them he advances together with them and he does the work.

20. S. (42:42) We’re going through a very special period, so what does it mean for the ten to agree with the Creator at such a time?

R. To agree with the Creator means I take upon myself the work of connection in order to reach love of friends and from that into love of people in general and through that to love of the Creator. This is called accepting the work.

21. S. (43:28) A moment ago you said that the work is not always difficult, so I’m asking when the work stops feeling like it’s difficult is it something that comes and goes, does it depend on my mood?

R. There are such periods.

22. S. (44:19) You said that in the work in connection in the ten we also have to draw the reforming light, what is this action?

R. When we connect in the ten in order to draw reforming light, so the upper light will influence us and change us. It changes us, not only advances us and pulls us as if by a string but that it will change us, change our qualities. This is what we expect from the influence of the reforming light.

S. Is this a desirable result from the connection?

R. Yes.

S. So when we want to connect, what is this addition for the result to be connection and that the light will influence us? I can’t reconcile the two.

R. It does, it does. The result will be as connection between us and the light that shines on all of us will be as a single light and it will advance us together to become as one man in one heart.

Reading 113 (45:38)

23. R. (47:34) Right, even though today it is difficult for him as opposed before to make actions of connection and bestowal; meaning the more we advance, and advance means to truly advance in understanding and appreciating our work and through connection between us and between us and the Creator. So the work seems more difficult, heavy, incomprehensible, while intermittently we also feel the opposite, that certainly there is success in progress towards connection and recognition of the Creator revealing the nature of the force that works on us. All of it needs to be sorted out, not just according to what we see, but according to what the Kabbalists teach us about how we should properly interpret what we are going through. And sometimes when the Creator turns to you feel worse and when you turn to the Creator you feel some relief and something better is. And relief is not that you now feel that you can do something, instead relief could be that you now recognize that submitting yourself to surrendering to the Creator is the form of progress, so there are different kinds of aspect of every state here.

24. S. (49:47) Does pleasing the friends making them happy, does it lighten the heaviness of the work?

R. The more I am connected to the friends, the better chances I have to more realistically advance, this is how it works, so then the main thing is really the intensity of connection between us and from between us to the Creator.

25. S. (50:36) Even though in practise there are difficulties and complicated situations in our work, we continue to work and try to incorporate and try to surrender, subjugate our pride and stubbornness; but there is always the question, where is the real work. Is what are we doing on this path, is this the right thing and are we making progress? Are we actually giving contentment to the Creator, this question keeps coming about the truth of the work, about the process we do, this constantly exists in us, ‘is it good, not good, is it correct or not’?

R. The more we bring our hearts closer together so that the Creator can then fulfill the common heart, by this we bring contentment to the Creator and accordingly He can give us inside the common heart, the sensation of the truth reality. All together, all of reality: still, vegetative, animate and speaking, everything that exist on all of the stars and planets, does not matter what and where. We do not even know what is really going on just under our on feet but we will discover through that how the Creator governs everything in a way that it is translucent, we can say. That it goes through all of those celestial bodies and galaxies and everything, and how we can become connected to each other above that and manage the whole universe, as it was all created for us. And so that is how we can see all of nature that it’s all created for our benefit.

26. S. (53:41) It feels as if we’re climbing a ladder but on the other side we are moving to the side, let’s say one step with one leg, and then with go with another leg to the other side. It is as if we are moving the legs apart more and more instead of going up the ladder, so what makes us going up?

R. The intensity of the connection between us causes the ascent and the opposite, causes the opposite, that’s it, only the intensity of connection because we have to bring ourselves to the same form that existed before the shattering of Adam HaRishon.

27. S. (54:46) Is the reforming light, does it change our qualities or only exposes and reveals them?

R. Changes, changes them and brings closer and connects qualities together so that we ultimately work as ‘one man with one heart’.

Reading 114 (55:29 – 59:39) Our sages said he who comes to purify is added. . . ” twice.

28. S. (59:42) When I think within the reason I see it as hard work, what new tactics should the ten add to its faith above reason to ease the hard work?

R. To see the work the way the person sees it and then see the work the way the group sees it, where we’re all connected and see the difference between this and that, understood? Then you will see that it’s not that difficult because it’s written ‘the one shall help his friend’.

29. S. (01:00:59) In this excerpt it says that “the forces, the efforts he has already made in the work don’t let him to expect escape the campaign” and a few excerpts ago we read that “if he doesn’t see results from his effort he might escape”. So how do we come, how do we not run away, how do we come to a state where we actually get help from above?

R. To invest as much as possible with mutual forces, mutual powers.

30. S. (01:01:44) It seems as close as we get, as large the steps are, so the will to receive seems to be always greater than the will to bestow, if we pray for the friends does the work become easier for the friends?

R. Certainly, our whole correction is by coming to common prayer with the friends towards the Creator that will help us and connect us.

31. S. (01:02:41) What does it mean for the Creator to return to us?

R. That He felt suddenly a new influence that awakened in Him.

32. S. (01:03:14) What are the forces that help a friend not escape from the campaign?

R. Importance that a person feels towards the work, towards his role.

33. S. (01:03:41) When we ask for help, is it a state where there is no special understanding and the outcry for help, meaning when they ask the Creator, say for connection, does it mean that we still don’t have a complete vessel? When we have an outcry for help, is this the real vessel already?

R. Yes, actually this is true cry.

34. S. (01:04:29) In order for the vessel to be complete, do we have to constantly be asking for more deficiency to be added and then we can expect the salvation of the Creator?

R. [No audible answer, Rav nods]

35. S. (01:04:54) If the evil is not revealed in the ten yet, does it mean that we don’t have a complete vessel?

R. Of course we don’t have a complete vessel, a complete vessel is still ahead of us.

36. S. (01:05:27) You explained to us a lot about the topic of importance and that is very clear, I wanted to ask, if the whole ten, say during six months, present a paper to you about tactics it uses to advance on the way, and every six month you will choose one ten out of everyone, can it increase the importance?

R. Ask the friends, the importance is with the friends not me, how much will they appreciate that I testing their essay and give them some grades or numbers.

S. I really feel it will?

R. Okay, so think about it, if you can do it like that, first of all do it in the ten without me, simply in the ten that should be enough.

37. S. (01:06:49) He writes “a complete vessel and then the evil is revealed”, what is a complete vessel?

R. Complete vessel means that everyone is incorporated with each other.

38. S. (01:07:06) What is a vessel and how do we feel it?

R. Kli, vessel, means the deficiency, desire; there is a desire to bestow, there’s the desire to receive, and it depends on what height, what level, volume, size, all of that is called the vessel. Go a bit into our archives, our library, look what is written there, there’s also a dictionary there, find the word, Kli vessel and look at the explanation. You should be a little bit more grown up, independent.

39. S. (01:08:17) According to the exert, it seems like the Creator deliberately creates in us the vessel by bringing us obstructions so as to create in us a request to Him. On the other hand, you said Rabash said you cannot acquire desire, there is no such pharmacy where you can buy it, So who is responsible in building the right request, is it the Creator or should a person build it?

R. Everything is done by the Creator, however to the extent of man’s efforts.

S. So where are our efforts, in building a request?

R. In the connection between us, the unity yes, that the Creator will help us, that we will turn to Him together all of us out of single desire, a single heart, and He will reveal all of that to us and help us,  that’s how it works.

40. S. (01:10:00) I wanted to ask, and excuse me for asking this question, I see the concealment that there is on the ninety-nine percent and at the same time I see in Bnei Baruch that we want to correct ourselves. But this work, even if it’s difficult, it is always preferable, it is always convenient for me that’s why I’m always in the will to receive, I can get out and that’s why I’m not making progress.

R. I do not exactly understand you.

S. I mean, it is preferable and convenient for me to stay here in the group because here in a group, my ego understand that it’s less attacked by everything that is happening outside, so I’m still remaining in my will to receive and I can’t reach bestowal.

R. Okay wait, don’t think that you will spend your whole life in this convenience.

41. S. (01:11:24) There was once a state where I would come to an understanding and there was emotional understanding too, and then the feelings left me and only the intellectual understanding remained. Now it’s the opposite, it is as if the understanding leaves me but the feeling remains, what is that state?

R. That’s okay, these are periods that will change many more times.

42. S. (01:11:59) It seems to me like before Passover there is the state as if some fog has landing on us, should we wait for it to go away or should we try to come out?

R. You don’t need to wait for anything and it has nothing to do with the Passover, actually it is all psychological, so just continue to work as usual as if nothing happened. And so, continue the work as usual, as nothing else happened, and we don’t relate anything to these holidays.

S. But we’re getting ready for this holiday?

R. Just give it some feelings, it’s all psychological, we get used to it only to mention it in a corporeal way to give us some date to aim towards coming out of our ego, what we call “Egypt”, and that’s it, it is just some marked, something remark and that’s it.

S. In other words we don’t need to go into that fog?

R. Well if we deceive ourselves, we do, and if we don’t we don’t

43. S. (01:13:49) Sometimes it feels like being thankful for the work, that we have this possibility to do the highest work in the world, it makes the difficulty in the work easier. Why is it like that?

R. It works this way because we’re still undergoing psychological states, so we have to just continue and soon it will settle in a different way, in a clearer way

S. But artificial gratitude, does that help as well?

R. Yes, yes of course, of course, every effort we make helps.

44. S. (01:14:32) Since we receive light individually through efforts in connection, then the Klipot are also different in each of us, are they also affected by the light that reforms?

R.Yes that’s how it happens, soon it will become clearer to you.

Excerpt #115 (01:15:27 – 01:18:11) “Specifically when all the bad is revealed, . . . “ twice

45. S. (01:18:35) I wanted to ask to continue the answer you gave previously about Passover just being corporeal date we mentioned and everything psychological. It’s clear to us that all these holidays are points we mark our spiritual advancement on. But on Pesach there is this concept called, ‘the lights of Pesach’; you once explained how this spiritual root touches or the closest to corporeal branch. Still there’s something about this special time because we always feel there is a special awakening, special burdening.

R. Yes, it’s for people that don’t have a grasp on spirituality specifically during these times, they come closer to tradition. But what we need to understand is that these lights, they exist and they always shine on us depending on our states. So of course Passover is Passover, it’s an important time, important tradition, if I have an opportunity to exit Egypt in February or another time, I will be very happy and I will not wait for Passover to come according to the calendar.

S. It’s clear but what are ‘the lights of Pesach’?

R. Lights of Pesach, of Passover, are special lights as there are special lights in every moment and there are special lights that act on whoever is still in order to receive and they bring him in order to bestow, bring him closer. So the lights of Passover are lights that I capable of bringing a person from in order to receive to in order to bestow.

S. Is it part of the light that reforms?

R. Yes this is the light that reforms, large and special.

S. Should we be active in our intention, our prayer, to insert the demand for the light inside or just to think about connection and the light works. Meaning how do we draw this light in the most effective way?

R. We want to be connected together as much as possible as ‘one man in one heart’ for that upper light to influence us and to pull us to the higher spiritual degree above our ego, this is called ‘the exit of Egypt’.

S. And inside the person should ask for the light to come and help or it’s enough for us to think about the friends and not to think about the light?

R. It’s desired.

S. What, to put the light in?

R. Yes.

S. So now we are going to learn The Preface so I think I’m supposed to think about the light that reforms all the time, right?

R. Of course

46. S. (01:22:17) More or less the same question in a different way: when the person comes the world is flat it, he doesn’t feel connection with the friends, he feels it’s not here, he doesn’t feel like two stories, he only feels himself, The forces to carry out what we read in the preparation, what Rabash writes, that “we should see the friends as great”. A person doesn’t have the strength to do that, only thing that is left for a person is to stay on a friend and ask for some help along with the fact that he feels the deficiency, that what is I’m capable of doing most of the times at the beginning. The question is is there something else a person can do expecting salvation or is that enough?

R. We have many exercises one needs to do in the evening to exercise for the morning so that we don’t wake up as a beast, not that the beast that wakes up and stays as a beast. We want to wake up already with a different exertion, with a different effort. Why do I do that: because the light influences me all the time twenty-four hours and I ask the Creator from this light to influence me, to bestow on me, to awaken me and to arrange me in all these moments that I am disconnected from life, from the purpose of life, for it to care for me like a mother that cares for her baby, this is what I want to happen.

S. Maybe here how to draw the forces from the night that passed down to the next day?

R. To pray, if I pray and ask for the day after, for me to have it, then I check: has the Creator really arranged it for me and helped me and I am grateful for Him and so on.

47. S. (01:24:34) You said that beginning of your words this morning lesson that we are in a special time, I would like to collect all the pieces here and connect and we have to agree with whatever happens. What does it mean ‘to agree with whatever happens’?

R. We need to agree to anything we receive from above and to give a response to it, not that we just receive and that’s it, but to respond in accordance to that meaning how to improve the situation the Creator is sending us. Because certainly what we receive, we receive from Him and we want to turn to Him in every opportunity we have.

S. Is part of that basically that we have to understand that our whole exertion at the moment is a reward?

R. Also that can be possible, it depends on the person.

48. S. (01:25:53) Should we pray to the Creator so He will show us how big the evil is that separates us from Him and then the deficiency will develop in the vessel or just the cling to the Creator and He will decide what’s best for us?

R. We want to stay adhered to the Creator as much as, more and more, that’s it.

49. S. (01:26:24) What does it mean in item one hundred fifteen, “that all the old evil is revealed”, can you explain this?

R. “All the evil revealed the evil is revealed”, all the evil is revealed to a person in order according to his nature, in accordance to his work and according to that he activates himself and receives the forces to correct the evil.

50. S. (01:27:13) In item one hundred fourteen, it is written “also sometimes:, he says that “the Creator cannot help him either”, can you explain what does it mean?

R. It appears to a person that the Creator cannot help him, it’s not that the Creator, Himself, cannot help him rather from the side of a person it appears that way.

51. S. (01:27:51) It seems that there are two kinds of cry to the Creator: one is crying out when friends are going through unpleasant circumstances because we don’t want to see them suffer, and the other kind of cry is, when we can’t bring the Creator contentment. Emotionally it is easier to cry out when we see friends that are suffering and pray for them, what brings us to emotional state of crying out when we can’t bring contentment to the Creator?

R. This all is the Creator’s work.
