Part 1:

Rabash. Article 19, 1990. Why Is the Torah Called “Middle Line” in the Work? – 2 (start with: “It is known that in the order of the work,”)

1. Rav’s Introduction: We are entering more and more to getting to know what Lishma is before us, this is the main thing that is demanded of us because to receive the nature of the Creator in order to bestow; to start through these qualities to understand and feel reality, the true reality not what appears in our egoistic characters and personalities that are disconnected from the truth.

This is our problem, this is our work and this is why we need to approach it this way and get to know it. Although the order of our work starts from Lo Lishma where we are all in order to receive, we are born this way, we develop this way and this is how we continue for the time being and that is called Lo Lishma; and from Lo Lishma we have to come to Lishma, were through the actions through these exercises and through these efforts we draw upon ourselves the reforming light, we invite it and it changes our nature, and then we begin to feel the Truth.

That although we are in order to receive and our entire nature is in order to receive, called the egoistic nature; we need to come to, in order to bestow an altruistic nature and this is what stands before us. It is very difficult to come to this, first of all because we are already in the last generation where our ego is very big. Not like the previous generations, hundreds and thousands of years ago; and that is why we need to exert according to what we are and draw the reforming light. Let’s read what Rabash is saying to us here and see how this is incorporated in our work.

Reading article (03:59) “It is known that in the order of the work,..”

2. R. (04:13) To receive upon himself the burden of the Kingdom of Heaven means, the all the forces of bestowal, as much as possible will receive a take upon ourselves and want them to reign over us; then to the extent that the Torah enters us meaning the intentions and actions in order to bestow. Then, we can learn Torah meaning to see the extent to which we receive these qualities, these desires, intentions and thoughts that are all will to bestow outside of our desire.

Because if he does not have the burden of the kingdom of heaven, meaning the desire to bestow. Shamayim, Heaven, is called bestowal, who’s Torah he is studying? Because first one needs to believe in The Giver of the Torah; and then he can observe Torah. Because whose Torah he is studying, that’s the question. Here, the Kingdom of Heaven is called the Malchut of Assiya, meaning that he takes upon himself to go above reason. Meaning that above his egoistic nature he wants to go and to take upon himself only the laws of bestowal, the laws of giving, the laws of connection and only in such a way he understands that he can come to, the second nature; which is all in order to bestow then he can keep the Torah, observe it. Because The Torah are forces, actions, thoughts in order to bestow.

Reading from starting point again (06:25)

3. S. (09:02) What is the significance of the meaning of the questions, the doubts are above reason, when I start working above reason?

R. That I am working above my ego and I want to come to a state that all my actions and thoughts will be in order to bestow. That is called above my reason; the way I was born the way the Creator created me, above that.

4. S. (10:01) What does it mean to receive this burden of the Kingdom of Heaven?

R. The efforts that we make together, all of us. We hope that this mutual force will bestow on each and every one and each of us will be able to receive upon ourselves the quality of bestowal; which will be gradually revealed in us, control us and we will behave according to the quality of bestowal.

5. S. (11:17) Here in the first sentence it says that, first you have to work and then learn the Torah, I thought that learning the Torah is this work, If not then that comes before learning the Torah?

R. That is the work; that we come closer to the quality of bestowal and then we will learn the laws of the upper world, the laws of bestowal and we will learn them upon ourselves. That is called the study of the Torah. The Torah is all bestowal; the laws of bestowal. And in this way we will know what it is talking about all together. Now we do not know.

6. S. (12:37) He says here, that first you need to believe in the Giver of the Torah and then you can observe The Torah.

R. Yes, of course. Without it how can you do it? If you don’t believe that there’s a Creator and He is the Good and does good, and His force comes to us and changes us and places us each time in a new way, nearing us to His nature. If you don’t accept it and dont try to search for it then you will miss it. All the work that we are doing right now is in order to put ourselves in that pipeline which comes from the Creator to us; so that we will walk precisely on the same line from us to the Creator.

S. I thought that whatever I see you, whatever I feel, whatever I believe doesn’t matter, first of all working i’m working with her friends to try and do the work?

R. How? How do you observe it and how do you work with a friend? If you do not have a goal you do not have a line and you do not have a precise form of what how you do it, with what you need to come to? you need to scrutinize that to the extent that it is possible but without it you are like working in the dark.

S. And to set the goal and scrutinize as you said where we aim, is it called to believe? I thought to believe is getting some feeling of the Creator, that right now we don’t have.

R. Yes.

S. I will ask this way, what does it mean to believe in The Giver of The Torah?

R. To believe in The Giver of The Torah, he writes about it in several places. It means that you accept upon yourself that there is an Upper Force that arranges everything for you, and aims towards you and guides you to aim yourself towards Him and that is how you come closer to Him. You’re starting to aim more towards Him.

S. Even if it’s complete in the mind and hasn’t clothed anything?

R. You try to move it to the feeling, practice to move it to the feeling. Otherwise how will it be?

7. S. (15:22) To observe, in general the Torah is the means or the goal?

R. Both, the means and a goal. The Torah is altogether the connection that the Creator has with the created beings and therefore the entire plan of creation, the whole force of creation, the whole goal is also all called Torah. Our connection between us and with the Creator is called Torah. Torah is called the correct system of connecting all the created beings together in One system. That is called the Torah; It is how all of the created beings are connected together between them and the Creator is inside this connection. This entire system is called Torah.

S. He writes here in the first sentence that the order of the work is first you have to take upon yourself the burden of the kingdom of heaven and then you can study The Torah, how can he reach that, can he reach it without studying The Torah?

R. There are several stages: First of all we need to invite the reforming light, that is also Torah. And actually in the Torah we intend to follow all those laws of this whole system, which binds us together between us and with the Creator in the complete manner. And the forces, the light that operates there inside that system, which connects all the details together until every last piece into One system, that is called Torah.

8. S. (18:00) To reach the above reason I need first to have a reason so I need to ask myself all sorts of questions and on the other hand it says that there is no room for all these questions so what is this contrast?

R. You will advance and you will see how many questions you will have and how you wont understand them or you will and in such a way you will see that there is room to advance. From Lo Lishma we come to Lishma; from not understanding, not adhering, not connection and from all of those lacks we start to see how then they begin to stabilize and become a question inside of us, and in those questions we start to grow, specifically from these many questions.

9. S. (18:58) It says here that the Creator bestows good and does good to all the creations in the world and it is great that He bestows good in the world but we need to build a vessel for Him, for the Creator and not for myself. How does it help me to know that He is bestowing good to the whole world?

R. If you want to feel what the Creator bestows to everyone you need to be in His nature, that is all. That is all you have to do. So, as much as we attain connection, love, bestowal accordingly we get to know the qualities of the Creator, the actions of the Creator and He, Himself. Because the Creator, Boreh, means come and see; where I come closer and I discover this Force which operates in all of the created beings.

10. S. (20:18) The condition to come to know the Upper Providence and understand reward and punishment and only then to learn Torah?

R. We need to try and be in the feeling of reward and punishment and from this we will come to the correct study of the Torah.

S. And then through the study of The Torah we see that it is all only mercy.

R. Yes.

Continue reading (21:06) “However there is an evil inclination in the person…”

11. R. () In truth the article is not too difficult it is long and we need to somewhat find our way through it the article itself should not be difficult for us already

12. S. () can you explain the sentence has anyone’s whose whole, is greater than his actions his his Hoffman does not hold him

R. that his wisdom is greater than his action than he’s not going above he’s not going to words giving but rather if the body says to him did the here there’s a place to receive something voice through something he does that and therefore he loses any does not go on the path of Truth

13. S. () Should I feel Darkness and Light at the same time or different times for example should my every action should have some darkness and some light

R. yes usually but you have to see by experience

14. S () how is it possible to come to the state of Correction of clothing of wisdom in the mercy

R. that is already a high degree where wisdom clothes Mercy that is not for now

15. S. () In this article it is depicted the few actions where the Creator puts us in the state of managing us in North 4 Nate sake what does it mean that the Creator sends us actions that we do know that we don’t know the same what they want from us he sends us the virus that causes the fault it is not clear what he wants from us exactly

R. the Creator manages us in a very simple way, he awakens in us all kinds of desires and we want to observe them because we received those desires as our own and by that we observe what he wants. We cannot feel something as not being hours. Let’s see he gives me now a desire for a cup of coffee. So I want coffee, I want to drink it. I’m going to go get it and I enjoy the fact that I’m feeling this desire that is how we do.

I want to finish what I said in order for us to see the truth we need to disconnect from our desire and to check whether this desire is really for a cup of coffee or something where they’re this is actually my desire or the desire decree all or all together it is unknown where it comes from I need to check exactly what the source of my desire is whether it’s mine and then I implemented a while and so on.

16. S. () With those actions of nut for her name they are sent from the Creator what is the future is here?

R. aAceive of the Creator that created in us such desires and therefore define in us all these different customs and possibilities and etcetera we have no freedom in that it is simply what we want to do a free desire is to observe or not to observe where we come or do not come for her sake that is how it is. Otherwise we just cheap what nature meaning the Creator awakens in us.

17. S. () the Creator causes a person to review of that behind not for her sake the Creator is doing actions of giving is this what the person reveals

R. yes that is one thing and the second thing is that all of these actions are 22 the true benefits of the person and the all the created beings and it all comes from the Creator and by this a person comes to the adhesion with the Creator.

18. S. () …Is this a gift from above?

R. It all comes from above.

19. S. () First of all amazing article it takes everything in my question is focused on one topic here the Creator actually uses us like Pawns in order to activate this desire and turn it from not for her sake to for her sake is this his goal

R. It appears that way to you but let’s see how that will change, I don’t think we are as a partition or a curtain the fact that the Creator is concealed within a person that is correct if that’s what you mean.

20. S. (01:00:34) I want to continue the example that you gave about the coffee where you check and you check and you examine where the desire comes from, so let’s say that my desire is just how can I just be sure that it’s my desire during the scrutiny?

R. Only through connecting with the friend’s and coming to one in tension one desire and one Creator everything clothes on this one concept on this one definition and then you understand that you are not mistaken.

S. Then after the scrutiny let’s say that I felt that it’s the correct implementation of this desire but I don’t find strength to implement it.

R. It is clear that you don’t find the forces it’s with certainty a correct sign because then you pray and you appeal to the Creator and for Him to do it for you. We cannot make one step on our own, we don’t have the forces where would I have the forces to perform some spiritual act.

S. Could you say that a good result is after the scrutiny is that I’m not able to reach this connection without the Creator’s help?

R. That is on the way too if I understand if I’m not capable and I also discovered that I’m not capable because I am still in the nature of receiving. Then I pray to the Creator and ask him to correct myself and to the extent to which I’m corrected I will incorporate in Him and in the adhesion with Him he will do the act of in order to bestow on me.

21. S. (01:02:29) You said that I need to check where is the source of the desire is, let’s say to drink coffee as an example, so the question is what do I need to check and how exactly if we learn that there Is None Else Besides Him?

R. If you are adhered to the extent and which you understand that this is the whole Manor in the group then you don’t need any more than that because then in that direction you also revealed the Creator to the extent and which you need in order to correct yourself at the moment.

S. It is not clear what is that exactly? We are saying it like it’s a fact like none else besides him.

R. Well, how could it be any other way with us, that’s how we seek Him and that’s how we want to locate Him.

S. At that moment you just have to think about it and then already gives me some connection?

R. Think about it.

22. S. (01:04:09) I’m not able to understand the type of work and practically I have a problem, I like to eat sweet things and I realize I want it and I think about it. I don’t agree that that I’m enslaved it to so I have a ten and I run from this deficiency to the deficiency of the ten and then we raise this mutual request but still there’s a suppression that’s not complete work it’s like a correction was it made here but we just ran away from and how do we do it correctly?

R. It is most correct to connect to friends and to tell them that they have eyes and see not and they have ears but hear not but when do I hear and see? If I connect to the group and go together with them and annual before them just like Rabash writes on the Social Writings, zero towards the group towards the ten the more zeros the more advanced.

S. And I checked somehow if there’s some kind of criteria that according to it whatever I’m doing as a work of a mutual group from incorporation of the ten, meaning that there’s some kind of correction here not escape.

R. It is not that you’re running away, on the contrary you’re advancing towards the group you have no other choice to come closer to the Creator because He is in the center of the group. How do you think that you can find Him and grasp Him and come closer to Him, how? This can only be by you finding the group.

S. I mean let’s say I started a new day and I see that I am even more enslaved not to the creator but to the desires.

R. Okay, very good.

S. Again you have to enter into this work anew and you have some kind of frustration and disappointment that again I’m in the enslavement and where is the correction here?

R. The correction was on the previous degree with the help of this correction you come to the new degree and a greater egoistic desire that has been revealed in you and now you need upon it to also perform an act of bestowal, meaning upon the will to receive that is now being revealed in you you need to connect to the friends today too. That way every day until these actions bring you to a new degree, truly.

S. I need to actually receive this fact that I don’t see results, changes?

R. The fact that you feel a new egoistic desire that’s already a new degree, that’s a new degree already and why are you not satisfied about that, come on more and more and more just do more and more.

S. I like my fear that I am actually weakened you don’t feel like a man like in Russia, you feel more dependent or weaker, it’s not a nice pleasant feeling to feel this?

R. Yes but strong is by continuing on the same work even though you don’t see progress, that is considered to be a man one that overcomes, and that is how the degrees are counted.

23. S. (01:08:53) In the article he depicts really interesting way to different levels of Lishma and as much as I understand the first degree which is the making the Kli ready, prepared and also to have this Kli as light what are these two?

R. You would have to go over the article again for that I understand you and you are right but first we will answer the questions.

24. S. (01:09:34) When the Creator awakens us to work Lo Lishma through the friends we still don’t have a sensation of the Torah, correct?

R. No, of course not.

S. We say There is None Else Besides Him and start to get a correction in order to work for Lishma, there’s already a feeling of Lishma within us?

R. No, we use the wisdom of the sages as we call it where what our teacher said we accept for now just like children who nullify before the adults and this way we advance this is for the time being, until we ourselves become a little bigger and then gradually and slowly slowly just like when a person is growing up from being a baby to a child to being a youth etc.

S. And when we come to Lishma we already feel the slight of Torah?

R. Yes of course, of course in Lishma we already start to feel the reforming light that’s what gives us the ability to be in Lishma.

S. And then the secrets of the Torah are revealed to us and the wisdom?

R. They are not coecring us, we ourselves wanted.

S. So we increase the deed so that the Hochma so that the Torah won’t be more than then the deeds and then this is kind of the process.

R. Yes.

25. S. (01:11:26) Here Rabash speaking about the darkness, what is this place where the light can come and enter into the 10 and how does this thing happen?

R. To the extent and which we come closer to one another we come to a state in which we are willing each of us to give up concede for the others, and then the light can begin to be revealed in us, the connection between us begins to stabilize and this light and this connection begins to appear meaning the quality of bestowal the mutual quality of bestowal.

26. S. (01:12:26) How does a person scrutinize what his true desire is? How do you do that?

R. One’s true desire we learn needs to be for connection with everyone with all the friends and when one starts to feel that point of connection, that is common then from that he begins to rise to the feeling of the Creator.

27. S. (01:13:08) We read earlier that it’s forbidden for the Hochma to be more than his deeds. What do we need to be careful for in order to keep the right arrangement in the work with the right order?

R. Where intellect should not define for us what to do, rather only our heart when we connect to others it should decide for us what we are doing.

28. S. (01:13:58) I thought that if a person is already able to see that he gets Lo Lishma from the Creator then it’s already Lishma but here he says it’s still not called Lishma.

R. Lishma is called all the spiritual degrees within which we ascend before we enter the ladder of degrees we are in states that are called Lo Lishma.

S. But if a person already revealed that is the Creator that’s standing, that’s activating him from behind this is not already Lishma?

R. Not yet.

29. S. (01:14:55) It’s written here that the Creator created the evil inclination and the Torah as a spice. What does it mean that I said who did he say that to and how does it reveal in us?

R. That’s what he says to everyone if someone who reaches that state doesn’t understand this is what the Creator created to begin with. I created the Torah and I created the spice for it because the light in it reforms.

30. S. (01:15:37) It says here about the Torah that the Torah from wisdom comes, meaning it comes from wisdom. What is it in the Torah that specifically from it comes wisdom?

R. It’s light that comes to us from the Creator from the sapphire of Keter to the sapphire of Hochma and from it everything develops the sapphire of Bina is a result of Hochma everything results from Hochma. The light of Hochma is the greatest light.

31. S. (01:16:33) I want to continue the scrutiny about the desire you said to Ita 4 that a person has to check the truth he has to disconnect from his desire and check the source is it his desire comes from the Creator or on clear where it’s coming from this is about all desires or specific desires?

R. I don’t know, ask it again please.

S. You answered that a person has to check the truth about his desire and the process is first he has to disconnect from his desire and check the source where it’s coming from is it from the Creator or is it his or on clear where it’s coming from, my question is, is it about every desire that comes or only desires coming for connection?

R. Especially desires for connection as much as we can differentiate but mostly desires for connection.

S. Now this desire, other than receiving he has no other desire so clearly the source is egoistic.

R. All the desires are originally egoistic but we need to correct them through the light that reforms, that is the whole matter of Torah that the light in it reforms, so what are you asking?

S. Because you said that the moment he sees that it’s a correct desire then he comes to realize it and if not then not.

R. If you can correct his desire from an intention to receive to an intention to bestow from an intention from self to an attention for others and the Creator that he realizes it. No more to add but ask.

S. So this test, how do I know what intention I’m talking about because it seems that it’s always egoistic?

R. Not always you do not know when can I use a desire in the right way if I use the desire first of all in the ten, if it’s without the ten then certainly that’s egoistic. If it’s in the ten then perhaps the entire ten is broken there’s also such a thing but basically inside the ten if we are at ten that’s moving forward then we are correcting our desire our intention in order to bestow if we can bestow to each other want to the other in the ten that from the ten we can also aim ourselves towards the Creator in order to bestow and then we do the action correctly.

32. S. (01:19:50) To continue this clarification you said that I need to check the source of the desire, and even my awakening ego the source is the Creator. So, how do I know to realize it?

R. With respect to the friends you cannot clarify anything if not with respect to the friends.

33. S. (01:20:21) It is written that the Creator conceals himself in Lo Lishma, so the question is why does the Creator clothe in such a clothing?

R. Of Lo Lishma, so that we will have freedom, awareness, understanding and labor and approach towards Lishma in a way that we make it an effort and reach it and achieve this quality of Lishma that’s why the Creator does these exercises with us this is called from Lo Lishma we come to Lishma.

You see that until today after thousands of years people haven’t yet discovered what is the secret of correction no and if you start explaining to them you’ll see how impossible it is and even if you start explaining to our friends you’ll see how difficult it is as much as we study it and we run into all kinds of problems in our minds and hearts in order to feel to detect to get closer to Lishma, how difficult it is because it’s literally a completely different degree a spiritual degree opposite degree that is why it says I saw an opposite world.

34. S. (01:22:12) He says in the article that a person studying Torah brings him to the heaviness of the heart the hardening of the heart and he’s saying why did you create me like that and there is a recognition that this is the Creator this is how the Creator wants to bring him closer and there is a moment of gratitude, what switches and what transitions us from a lot of complaints of the create a to a state of recognition to gratitude?

R. A very tiny spark of light that already shines on our complaints cancels all of them and we already agree with the Creator that’s how it works and then we have no problems and no complaints and we’re willing to be connected to the Creator in heart and soul.

S. There was an impression from an article as we’ve learned it from the love of the friends we reached to the love of the Creator that like in from Lo Lishma say to Lishma that there is a means and there is a goal that we used to reach the goal and it seems that when we bring there is none else besides him in the picture and we understand everything comes from him it appears that the one cannot exist without the other and there cannot be Lishma without Lo Lishma and there can not be Lo Lishma without for Lishma and they are interdependent and necessary for our progress.

R. Correct, that is correct, how can it be that the world will exist without the ego, you cannot do it without the … as it says, we understand that the created being has to be comprised of two parts of creation in order to receive and in order to bestow and only in connection and at the boundary through this cut between them he can differentiate and clarify himself as the light excels from Darkness.

How otherwise, if you don’t have Lo Lishma how will you understand Lishma you’ll be like an angel that just follows an order to bestow works in bestowal without any connection with reception so in such a way he can’t attain anything, you simply exist and the desire to bestow already and therefore he has no proximity to the Creator or touching the Creator because the feeling has to come from the light out of the darkness when we come from our will to receive, the cruel huge will to receive from that we come to in order to bestow.

Then we understand the gap between them the distance between them, and we learn one from the other on top of the other it’s impossible otherwise, so why did the creator create the will to receive such a great will to receive and intentions to receives in order for us to obtain him, for us to be above the angels angels meaning forces of bestowal the greatest forces of nature but they have no free choice. And we are able through free choice to reach in order to bestow as opposed to in order to receive the light excel from darkness and then in the gap between light and darkness the difference between reception bestowal we come to the state that is referred to as those who know God good and evil specifically Good and Evil.

That’s how from that we attain godliness, and that is why it is written the children of Israel shall return all the way to the Creator meaning that those who want to reach the Creator Yashar El straight to the Creator Israel so they go all the way to the creator meaning we can attain above all. Because we include within us we are comprised of good and bad good and evil and this scene between them this thread between them, this is where we can recognize all of reality like in any other state we always attained something from its opposite.

S. It appears as if we need to start with the friends and from them reach to the Creator it feels like we are starting from the left line and then we move to the right line, is it always a direction or is it an opposite direction?

R. Let’s say it’s similar, yes it’s similar that we start from the will to receive until we sorted out and we will still have to clarify that for us.

35. S. (01:28:26) How can we allow the light of Hochma clothes in the light of Hassadim?

R. That is to the extent that we do the restrictions screen and reflected light and then we activate the light of Hassadim and according to the magnitude of the light of Hassadim we can open ourselves up for the light of Hochma.

36. S. (01:29:16) What is for a man to do that he sees that the Creator is obligating him to a walk-in Lo Lishma, what should he do about how can he draw closer from Lishma from this state?

R. The Creator always shines on us and puts us through different actions that are opposite to the truth so that we learn as the light the advantage of the light from within the darkness and that is how we advance and discover the correct form of the revelation.

37. S. (01:29:57) What does it mean to annul before others what is a person to give up?

R. A person gives up on everything because he wants to care for the friends and help them support them like the one who takes care of the group.

38. S . (01:30:20) Is there such a thing as a desire that comes from the side of the person?

R. No, nothing comes from the person except that he tries to clarify what the Creator sends to him. It’s like with kids or babies we can learn from them, what do they have, only what we awaken in them, what nature wakes in them and that’s how they grow.

39. S. (01:30:50) What is Tam?

R. Innocent, What is innocent with respect to wholeness is that a person except that everything comes from the Creator understands that he has to fulfill all the laws of the upper world, the upper nature and he tries to tie himself to these laws, this is what we call innocent.

40. S. (01:31:42) He specified three stages: 1: The revelation of evil and the 2: is the revelation of Hassadim and stage 3: is the Hochma and Hassadim and stage 3 the correction of the stage 2?

R. No it’s not correction it’s already the attainment of the goal, we correct the Klil this means that we achieve the vessels of bestowal the light of Hassadim then through the light of Hassadim we raise the Kli to a degree where I can receive an order to bestow that is the light of Hochma and by that we take the purpose of creation.

S. What is the connection between that third stage of the purpose of Correction in the first stage of the revelation of the evil inclination it seems disconnected from?

R. Not at all the first stage is just going to disconnect the second stage he acquired the light of Hassadim and the third stage attains the light of Hochma inside the light of Hassadim.

S. And this is the full correction of the evil inclination?

R. Yes.

41. S. (01:33:01) And in the revelation of the creator, what two opposites do we combine and what is it speak about when we care for the creatures for creation?

R. I don’t understand what you’re talking about you.

S. We are in parallel have to ask from the Creator to give fulfillment to his Creation, this is the first work and the second is like where the actual creation that we don’t need to receive from the Creator and then that brings contentment.

R. No, no where did you take it that how it should be?

S. Just these are two different things.

R. Don’t come up with your own philosophy, read the article well, read it again and don’t add anything to it that you need to do this or that, you always want to somehow process it in yourself. And this processing causes you to just veer in a certain direction.

42. S. (01:34:50) Is there a difference between the action the society demands and I don’t want to but I fulfill it and I do it, and actions that the society demands and I don’t want and I don’t do?

R. Of course because your attitude to the friends and your attitude to the Creator is prominent and both states.

S. And the first action that I don’t turn to the Creator, is there an action that brings light or above reason?

R. No, no if you don’t turn to the Creator you have no good result.

S. Is there an action that is society asks and I don’t have to fulfill or all requests I have to fulfill?

R. The actions of the group, the request for their connection you have to fulfill, let’s put it like that, what else can they ask? I don’t know but basically that’s what there is.

43. S. (01:36:15) Why would a person wants a coffee he has to check if it’s his desire, the Creator’s desire?

R. What for, why do I need to check if I want a cup of coffee that is in my desire or the creator’s desire over all my desires? I can say in advance that they are desires from the Creator that he awakens them in me.

44. S. (01:37:01) How do we check the source of the desire?

R. All of the desires awaken from the Creator through various means and reach us but what do we need to do with them we need to realize them and sort them out first of all sort them out to what these desires are directed towards and how can I use them to advance towards the purpose of creation.

45. S. (01:37:45) What do we do if we reveal that the desire is mine and not the creators?

R. There is no such thing, there is no desire that awakens in the person and it’s his own desire, the person’s desire, it just seems to a person that way.

46. S. (01:38:10) So what do I do if it seems like it’s mine and not from the Creator?

R. You try to relate it to the Creator and answer the question why does the Creator awake in this desire in me, so that I will submit myself so that I will rise above it so that I will try and erase it so that I will turn to the Creator and ask for clarification, and so forth.

47. S. (01:38:44) Is what I need to check in the desire, is it whether I am going to bring contentment to the Creator with this desire or no?

R. Yes, yes preferably I should examine each and every desire, how in realizing this desire do I bring joy to the Creator or not.

48. S. (01:39:12) When we reveal that the Creator is from the Creator, how can we realize our desires that is not mine, even a mother that realizes that the desire of her children feels that this is what she wants?

R. We don’t have any desire of our own we only perceive it receive it it is like a radio receiver, we receive desires that the Creator awakens in us we feel them as our own desire and we want to realize them but in truth they are not our desires they are desires that come to us from the Creator.

49. S. (01:39:57) I heard that angels are forces of Bestowal and they don’t have Lo Lishma which is why they cannot advance, does it mean that the first Adam HaRishon was an angel before the breaking?

R. True that is what was written that he was an angel and only after the shattering when he is then composed and included with both the evil inclination and the good inclination then you can say that man Adam has been made then made that he now has an opportunity to resemble the Creator.

50. S. (01:40:39) So in what Lishma is different before the shattering and the Lishma that we have to reach?

R. Before the shattering there was no Lishma or Lo Lishma. Before the shattering that was not the case there was still no there was not a required data to build the human being, to make the Adam wasn’t there yet.

51. S. (01:41:14) It is written in the article, this is why a man says that he is doing the actions and Lo Lishma as in the example that the friends obligate him and this doesn’t have to be necessarily friends rather each and everyone has an external dressing for himself that suits that person, what does it mean that each has a private clothing that suits him?

R. This is a Masach screen that a person needs to acquire in order to have actions that he makes out words from him in order to bestow.

52. S. (01:42:15) From one hand if I’m not for myself then who is? Together with it the Creator does everything so what is my work?

R. To connect the two together. If I’m not from myself then who, right, and that the Creator does everything none else besides Him.

53. S. (01:42:36) What does it mean to be in the feeling of reward and punishment?

R. That on each of my thoughts, it’s mostly in thoughts as it says that everything is clarified in thought, that in each of my thoughts I have a reward or punishment and therefore I’m very very meticulously inspecting and scrutinizing all my thoughts in order to reach a state of a great and good reward.

54. S. (01:43:24) How can a person check that his wisdom is not more than his deeds, his actions?

R. This is by giving himself to the group. The surest safest test for him is that he simply gives himself away to the group.

55. S. (01:43:55) In what stage do we begin to make a real…?

R. In what stage? When we transcend our nature and then we connect with our friends together and make a true action of bestowal.

56. S. (01:44:33) How to be grateful for the …. Lo Lishma when we reveal the evil?

R. Say it again.

S. How to be in gratitude for the efforts in Lo Lishma in the revelation of evil?

R. I don’t see the question, ask it again.

S. I’m in Lo Lishma and I have the revelation of evil. How do I stay in gratitude anyway?

R. If you feel in your state that it’s coming to you from the Creator and you are in a direction towards the friends, even if it’s Lo Lishma, even though you may feel unpleasant, we go through all kinds of states so you’re thankful to the Creator even then.

57. S. (01:45:48) If we relate the desire to the Creator does that mean we correct it?

R. Correcting the Creator?

S. Relating the desire to the Creator does it mean we are correcting that desire?

R. Let’s say so yes. It is not a complete correction but it’s still a correction.

58. S. (01:46:15) The lesson material team has sent us a few excerpts.

R. Yes, please.

Reading (01:46:24) “All of the thoughts that come into one’s mind are the various operations of the Creator…”

Reading “… when the sensing it before he comes into the authority of his imagination”

59. R. (01:48:37) Who wants to ask based on these excerpts, very good excerpts?

60. S. (01:49:05) What is the meaning to hear that the Creator obligates them?

R. That the Creator obligates us, we accept that as His direction towards the path and we want it to be so, I want to be accompanied in my entire path by the Creator. Who doesn’t want that? Who knows what is the next step forward for him? Is he going to fall into a deep pit or something else? Obviously if he’s like a little child grabbing hold of the adult by the hand and going forward and then he’s certain that he’s not going to have any problem.

61. S. (01:50:20) It seems the Creator is sending me stronger desires and others less strong desires.

R. The Creator is the general collective system that organizes for each one and everyone together the effort required towards the final correction and we can’t say that he’s more successful and the other one’s less successful this or that we don’t know how to make this calculation because we don’t feel that entire vast system, how interconnected it is and how it’s influencing everything intricately, and in the final correction when it becomes revealed we’ll have no complaints for nothing. I will be bonded between us and with the Creator in heart and souI and in the meantime until the final correction of course we are inside an incomplete work.

S. The question is how do I find the strength to choose in a certain desire that is directed at the friends if I have another desire that pulls me in a different direction?

R. I don’t know what to answer you but to surrender towards the friends and inside them you want to reach the Creator that’s the most important action that we need to do.

S. The friend said that the Creator obligates us on the desire and when the Creator gives us a strong desire in that he also obligates us? Then how do we choose?

R. I don’t understand, the Creator gives you your nature. Inside your nature He gives you all kinds of difficulties, questions, from you from the friends, He gives you a mind and emotion and He leads you to various solutions and then you have to choose from all those things in what way can you be closest to Him, to the Creator so choose.

S. That’s not what I talked about. I talked about the state in which I’m on the way together with the friends and a desire comes to me that pulls me in a different, completely different direction, and the Creator obligates me in such a way as well.

R. So what? So you need to do all kinds of actions here in order to overcome and stay with the friends. What’s the question? There’s no question here, there’s only an action that you need to do whatever you can to stay among the friends. Why do we advance not just by thought but also by action, so that it becomes clear to us what’s happening.

S. The obligation is because I want to come closer to the friends and I end up in a completely different place, afar.

R. Right because you’re not hearing what the Creator tells you and the Creator tells you things that are both direct and indirect straight and opposite. He might be attracting you to a bad direction seemingly in order to teach you that that’s not where you should go just like we do with kids. We also show them all kinds of things that are not good so they can learn from them and not fail.

62. S. (01:55:06) According to the experts we’ve read it seems that our work in the ten is to strengthen in faith in the Creator more and more each day, correct?

R. And?

S. Is this our work?

R. Yes yes, what do you want to ask?

S. I want to ask you if that is our main work?

R. Yes you’ve said it already.

63. S. (01:55:52) You said that we should pay great attention, much attention to our thoughts. How do I relate to my thoughts that a person notices that they are opposite to the adhesion to the Creator? What is the right action in such a case?

R. That I need to be now in the opposite way toward these thoughts, opposite, and how do I do it? I have to get into the group and nullify before them and then I’ll take on the right form of thinking.

64. S. (01:56:50) Can we repeat the article?

R. No, we can’t. You can go back to the article and ask. Do you want us to repeat the whole article?

S. Not the entire article. I just have a certain question about the article.

R. I can’t just do it based on your desire right now.

65. S. (01:57:17) If a person feels that this is a desire that comes from the Creator then what does it mean to feel because in my mind I understand it.

R. Well, work with it as it comes to you and then see if we can also feel it.
