THE LIGHT IN TORAH

Torah refers to the Light clothed in the Torah,

as a spice.” This refers to the Light in it, since
the Light in it reforms it.

וְשָׂא נֵס לְקִבּוּץ פְּזוּרֵי עַמִּים,

לְקַבֵּץ נִדָּחִים אֶל מְקוֹם מִבְטָחִים

וְגוֹלִים אֶל אַדְמַת אֲחוּזָתָם.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהוה מְקַבֵּץ פְּזוּרֵי עַמּוֹ וְעוֹלָמוֹ.

Bring in a big trumpet to impress your world, And carry out a miracle to the scattered peoples, Collect faithfuls to a place of safety And exiles to the land of their estates. Blessed are you, Yahweh, who gather the scattered people to Your world.
