Part 1:

Speaking with the Creator – Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #4

1. Rav’s Introduction (00:30): Yes, Kabbalists recommend to us from the moment we wake up and when we can enter life in a conscious way, they recommend that we begin to connect with the Creator right away, and in this way to spend all of our waking hours and do it daily. So to speak with the Creator, is what a person should try to do always, always always and through the Creator to speak to each one, each friend in the whole world and even within himself. So let’s try, we will try to do it, we’ll try to be this way. We will get accustomed to it, of course each and every day they should be as new in your eyes, we should get up and it will not be simple from sleep to aim ourselves at the Creator but specifically according to this difficulty we will learn how different we are and accordingly how wide is our vessel and how ready it is for the revelation of the Creator because that’s the law of nature as much as we are different from phenomenon to that extent we can approach it and feel this phenomenon and all the qualities that make it up, so please.

Reading excerpt 4 (02:35): “When a person wants to stand…” twice

2. S. (05:32) How can we include the left line without swaying off when we are in front of the King?

R. I don’t know what you’re talking about. The left line, it doesn’t say anything about the left line. Let’s use the same words that are written here so all the friends will understand what you’re trying to say.

3. S. (06:12) So how do we reach such a high state that you really feel that you’re standing before the king? And not allow any foreign thought besides that?

R. Kabbalists say that there’s no such thing that a person cannot feel. Everything that we have in this world and everything we have in the spiritual world; meaning, in all the states where we can be in order to receive and in all the states where we can be in order to bestow, we can feel all the way up to the Creator who includes everything, everything.

However, we need to aim ourselves towards it and try to make those exercises just like babies or little children when they’re starting to get to know the world and to try again and again to examine things to have a critical attitude to, to discover the world, when they want to reveal the world they gradually then reveal it, feel it, they acquire vessels and that’s how they develop. The same goes to spirituality except with respect to spirituality we have to be aimed even more at where are we headed and what are we going to feel and this talks about a different kind of feeling according to the spirit of bestowal in a person and not according to the spirit of reception that we naturally have from birth.

S. What do you mean to stand?

R. When I am in front of the Creator and he is working in bestowal towards me and I must also be in the same aspect of bestowal towards Him. That’s the meaning of being in front of the King.

4. S. (08:53) In the introduction you said that the Kabbalists advised us to come into our world consciously from sleep. What is the awareness that we need? What are we supposed to be conscious of?

R. We need to be conscious of the fact that we are constantly in front of the King. It doesn’t depend on us, this is our status, all of the people and as much as we look down at it and disregard it accordingly we have the results before us. If we wish to reveal the relationship between us and the Creator, then we’ll have something else, we’ll reach revelation; it all depends on us.

5. S. (10:10) In excerpt number one where it says there’s no one else but he and the King, it sounds so egoistic and individualistic so how do we connect that in the ten with the King?

R. We need to connect ourselves to the ten, by that a person somehow correct his will to receive to be willing to work with the friends but still when he is working with the friends and he cancels and annuls his personal ego and each one of the friends does the same in order to connect they still don’t correct themselves, they simply connect. It can be a special commando unit of crooks or in the military or the Army. The annulment is only towards the connection. We need to profit, to go into battle, to attack and later the connection between them and the Creator, it’s already a completely different connection. Here they have to be in mutual bestowal between them and not simply annulment but in mutual bestowal and according to their overall bestowal, to that extent, they can reach the Creator. They can resemble the Creator and reach equivalence of form with Him.

6. S. (12:40) It’s written here that he then feels that he is in a good feeling, in a state of good feeling because he has the privilege of standing before the King and speaking with a King. Where does he feel that? I understand that I’m speaking with the Creator but what’s the sensation?

R. It’s still not in your vessels because you don’t possess those vessels of bestowal where you can be connected to the Creator, to the extent that you connect with the friends and you aim yourself at the Creator then you begin to feel Him as being in you and you as being in Him. In this connection then, there begins to exist between you this conversation, this dialogue I to my beloved and my beloved to me, and that’s how we advance.

S. Meaning now I have to search for this place in the center of the ten? That were in this good feeling?

R. Yes, yes, through the connection with the friends.

7. S. (14:10) How do I care for the first condition that we have no foreign thought or disturbance but only what concerns the King?

R. This is our ongoing work. You can’t do it now and then be certain that everything will be fine because you’ve already done it; rather the concern for and care for the purity of thoughts and the intention this is our never-ending concern and it includes criticism and repeated tests and checks and you have to have supporters and guards. Later it becomes vessels that you begin to work with more freely, you’re accustomed to it because habit becomes second nature but for the time being, right now everything like that demands a great deal of investment..

S. When you say a great investment you mean constantly scrutinizing what’s missing between us in order to advance?

R. Each one checks himself: How much he can rise above his ego and connect with the friends and together with them he wants to connect to the Creator and he demands from the Creator to help us with such actions.

8. S. (15:55) What is the role of faith here in this discussion with the King?

R. This is the force of faith that we have to acquire from the Creator, receive from Him the power of Bina which comes to us. It helps us to be above the force of reception, we will come to it.

9. S. (16:38) He says here that what holds a person in connection with the king is from the fear of the greatness of the King, it sounds something very big, what is the fear of the greatness of the King?

R. As much as he can absorb some of the greatness of the Creator, the greatness of the Creator that’s what fills a person and raises him higher and if he can be above his will to receive. To be loyal to the greatness of the King that it is like air, that he’s filled with the greatness of the King.

S. He also says that there is fear of the greatness of the ten of the King in the ten?

R. In truth it’s all related, these are vessels of the greatness of the King and the greatness of the King itself is the fulfillment.

Reading excerpt 5 (17:55): “A person must believe that when..” twice

10. S. (21:02) First of all a great thanks and praise to you and the friends who chose these excerpts and the question arises here that seemingly we have this conflict between the call of the Creator and this that he begins to feel pleasure in his vessels from this. What is this conflict and how do we deal with it? The call from the Creator and the pleasure on the other hand?

R. Look, this should be our ongoing work, how shall I explain it, I’ll read it slowly and I’ll add to it.

Rav reading: A person must believe that when the Creator appears to him when he feels some awakening from within he begins to feel the importance of the King and is drawn to Him and annuls as a candle before a torch and to the extent that he feels the Creator he annuls himself towards Him to some extent, to a certain measure, and if he continues to appreciate the herald. Meaning if he continues to think about the greatness of the Creator, what he’s dealing with, where he’s being pulled towards and so on and so forth, that he has heard from above, and to the extent that he can regard it to that extent his aspiration for spirituality grows, he wants to get into it, he wants to get it, until he warms himself up from within toward spirituality the force of the Creator and that extent he begins to feel how he has emerged from the corporeal world and entered the world as nothing but good.

But if he forgets to appreciate that call, meaning the Creator gave him an awakening and the Creator pulled him and he continues in him, afterwards he leaves and maybe he doesn’t continue after the Creator pulls him out of it. So if he forgets to appreciate the Creator has called on him and he does not speak to the Creator and does not turn to Him but rather he begins to enjoy and instills the joy he has into his vessels of reception. It’s pleasant to him, it’s good for him, it gives him confidence, thank God he’s on the path, and what else is he missing, and he’s not cautious to thank and praise the Creator for bringing him closer then he is promptly repelled and ejected from the King’s palace. That’s the problem where we often times receive a rejection and we feel after a few moments maybe more that we are no longer in contact with the Creator.

Reading excerpt number 6 (25:05) “ If a person pays attention..” twice

11. S. (29:42) That we can appreciate the greatness of the King, can we also feel the quality of the good that does good in the friends?

R. Through the friends we can feel the quality of the good who does good of the Creator in what, in how he bestows to the friends. If I am connected with the friends then until I wish to reach them then to the extent that the Creator bestows goodness to them through that I get to know His work, what He’s doing by doing good to them and by that extent I love Him. As much as the Creator gives pleasure to my friends to that extent I love Him.

12. S. (31:03) What is the meaning of that the King is in the city? It’s written a King is here in town right?

R. It’s in the groupm let’s say that He’s present in our field of vision our field of feeling.

13. S. (31:39) Can you explain a bit more deeper into what you just explained? What I just heard is that the greatness of the King is revealed and how much you revealed that He is doing good to your friends.

R. Yes of course where else would you discover Him? If you will discover the greatness of the King on you it will be in order to receive in your vessels of reception. Where are your vessels of bestowal relative to the friends? So you need to see in the friends just how much the Creator is pulling them towards the goal and helping them, filling them, sustaining them by seeing the actions of the Creator in them, for that we love Him.

S. That’s already part of a process right, you asked for the friends before you wanted to feel what they’re lacking, you want to feel that they feel good, so you’re like a partner in this.

R. Right, correct, that’s why you’re feeling the result.

S. The result is the greatness of the King?

R. When the Creator fills them and cares for them and gives them, then you see in that His greatness, His importance is His mercifulness.

14. S. (33:07) I don’t understand the last sentence, the excerpt that he says that he can believe. Where is the force of faith that the Creator gives us everything from above?

R. A person begins to feel it by himself and this person is given knowledge from above, from the heavens, that he can walk in and talk to the King meaning that he can believe, we can distinguish faith and knowledge, what is that force, where do we feel it?

15. S. (34:16) What is this mechanism that he needs to be satisfied with this and he has been privileged and others not. How to relate to this spiritually and not corporeally?

R. It looks like he’s an egoist, he’s happy he has and the others don’t but it’s not like that, he is rewarded with the treatment of the Creator and he’s rewarded with the actions of bestowal.

16. S. (35:00) To speak with the king, is that to give a prayer or there’s another form?

R. It doesn’t matter in what form or manner, he can say it in any language you want the Creator will understand you without any problem and He will understand you even more than what your speaking, He will understand your desire, your intention, your thoughts, your goals, He will understand everything just open up your heart even not in your mouth.

17. S. (35:48) What’s the difference between knowing the King and speaking with the King?

R. Knowledge is knowledge and speaking is speaking, two different forms of connection, of communication, a connection with the Creator, the force of bestowal, the upper force that fills the entire world, so there is a matter here that to connect with Him in a partial manner let’s say, in an alternate way or a complete manner.

18. S. (36:35) It’s clear to me that we acquire the importance of the King in the ten first. How do I pay? What do I pay to acquire and the importance?

R. Usually in this that I subjugate myself that I think and speak with the friends, do all sorts of actions to enlarge the greatness the importance of the the King in my eyes.

S. He says he doesn’t see the Creator benefiting the friends they often seem like they’re suffering, what to do with it?

R. To do what is demanded of him and that he can be in complaint and criticism why he doesn’t see.

19. S. (37:29) What does it mean to break the locks in our hearts about the importance of the King? How are we going to feel face-to-face to Him?

R. Mutual bestowal. It’s written that you shall not have a foreign Creator and distant Creator, meaning that you should feel the Creator as your closest friend, so try to be like this with Him that you relate to Him like your closest friend your best friend, and you are willing to give and do everything for Him and not look down at His desire at His request, and thus you’ll advance.

20. S. (38:42) It seems as if Baal HaSulam is dividing humanity relative to the quality of bestowal. Will the attitude towards the revelation of the Creator remain in the same way such that only a few will overcome and enter the King’s palace?

R. No, according to what we say, according to what we see, over the years especially from the revelation of the Ari in the world, and then of course from Baal HaSulam in the world, Baal Shem Tov, then there are many people who are engaged in connection with the Creator and want to be in connection with Him, and in thus they advance.

Now in our times we have entered the final stage that we have to tell the whole world that the purpose of the creation is love thy neighbor as thyself, love thy friend as thyself that the entire world needs to be connected to this. We see according to all the external parts of the world that if the world doesn’t know that this is the goal, to be in connection between everyone, in a good warm mutual connection, then we will reach this that we will cause a general death, the Kabbalists talk about this, they talked to us about it, they warned us about it, and we need to accept it as such from them.

S. There’s a reason for optimism and to continue in the work of Bnei Baruch.

R. It’s not optimism, we go according to what the Kabbalists say and we’re entering this last stage of telling the whole world about the purpose of creation, love thy friend as thyself and everyone everyone everyone as Baal HaSulam writes, black, white, red, yellow. It doesn’t matter what human beings, all these four types, we need to connect everyone together as one man in one heart to the system of Adam HaRishon, that‘s our goal.

In whatever may be we need to be drawn to this and this is what we need to tell everyone about and you will see how much it will expand and spread more and more in the world. The entire wisdom of Kabbalah from all Kabbalists that were in tendency to this and according to how much they were capable they would talk about it. In our times it’s already possible and we must bring it to fruition gradually more and more and more.

21. S. (42:04) When a person doesn’t have enough faith to speak mouth-to-mouth face-to-face with a Creator can he speak to the Creator above reason?

R. Speak to Him in every state in every state speak to the Creator, if you open up let’s say a prayer books and what do you see there you have examples how a person must turn to the Creator, that’s it. Look you having every language today prayers, I’m not talking about it so much because we shouldn’t draw a person to religion but sometimes to look there it can actually give you an example in the prayer book of how to turn to the Creator.

S. These actions can bring a person to faith?

R. We’ll talk more about this it’s very delicate.

22. S. (43:24) A friend is asking, we need a certain method of convincing to convince the Creator. What kind of convincing are we talking about here?

R. If a person turns to the Creator it doesn’t matter what language it doesn’t matter how well he knows how to express himself the main thing is that it’s from his heart and the Creator hears.

23. S. (44:24) You said now, yesterday, today, earlier about how at each moment you can open the heart and speak to the Creator and He’ll understand you in any language. How do you combine it with none else besides Him? Is that the state before I am speaking to the Creator? I cannot speak with the Creator unless I have none else besides Him and the good that does good? I’m confused. How do you come to speak to the Creator and our path?

R. There is none else besides Him is with respect to the person that he shall know that no one else is managing him and no one else can he can turn to rather the only first that carries out the world, maintains it, fills it. We are incorporated in that same force called the Creator, besides Him there is nothing, to such an extent that I also need to say there are no friends, there’s no group, there’s nothing. These are all appearances of the Creator towards me, and then accordingly in order to connect with Him I need to go according to that same style, that same manner, to connect with the ten, with the friends, to the the entire world and ultimately to the Creator. That’s how He built these stages of connection between us, on these stops, these milestones, and thusI need to be ready for connection.

S. So speaking to the Creator happens throughout the entire path not only one stage?

R. Of course all the time until the end of correction and there I don’t know.

S. Meaning your command to any student to speak to the Creator I have to none else besides him or don’t try to constantly be.

R. All the time be in this discussion with the Creator. We read a few excerpts on this, ok?

24. S. (46:32) The power to do actions of bestowal depends on the importance of the King. The question is what causes the actions of connection in the ten that draw this greatness?

R. Only connection between us that we can enlarge our forces to hold onto the Creator.

S. Why the actions and connections between us, we are opposite of the quality of bestowal. How come they draw in that power?

R. Because we in our actions make an effort to rise above our qualities our egoistic attributes

25. S. (47:30) What’s the difference between opening the hearts to the friends and opening the hearts to the Creator?

R. These are means, opening the heart to the friends and the goal, opening the heart to the Creator. The heart is called a vessel so opening the heart to the friends is the preparation of the vessel and opening the heart to the Creator is already bestowal from this vessel to the Creator, to give the vessel fulfillment, in this we’re giving contentment, giving pleasure in Him.

26. S. (48:12) What is the benefit from speaking to the King?

R. The benefit is in this that according to how much you know to ask correctly that’s called raising MAN, accordingly He takes care of you, He gives you the force of bestowal and then according to this force of bestowal you feel that you are more connected to the friends to the general Kli and are incorporated in the system of Adam HaRishon.

S. Why do we have such a sensation that to speak to the Creator to talk to Him causes great pain?

R. I don’t know what you’re talkin about that’s entirely incorrect, incorrect, and in the wisdom of Kabbalah there is not a word of this that it causes pain that’s not from our method, maybe some from foreign ?

S. We started to learn these excerpts about speaking to the Creator and in the ten we started to do it to raise a prayer to try to speak to the Creator all the time, but it’s felt this heaviness, burdening, suffering, was not the ego that’s speaking.

R. Okay so you feel all sorts of phenomena you need to continue to do as demanded of us and then you will see how much these phenomena will turn from negative to positive. Ultimately we are always going against our ego just to the extent that we get closer to the Creator in our actions, that the Creator fights and corrects our ego and turns it from reception to bestowal.

27. S. (50:55) On the one hand we say there is no coercion in spirituality. On the other hand the Creator coerces the acts of bestowal. On the one hand the King seemingly coerces us to perform acts of bestowal on the other hand there’s no coercion in spirituality.

R. Nobody can do any action of coercion on you. Let’s say you don’t want to bestow, nobody will obligate you, the Creator will not obligate you to be a bestower rather you need to reach this decision to be a bestower in your mind and in your forces that’s it, but this that there is a purpose of creation and you must advance towards it. That is already before you, in front of you, before you came to this world into being, He already had your place and your goal and everything and nothing is incidental. Rather you need to go from the first point to the final point but along the way you are in free choice, it’s sure that you will reach your corrected state, but how you will reach it, how fast, how directly, how short, or through all sorts of revolutions, going around, that depends on you.

28. S. (52:53) The Creator awakens a person from above and he feels a bit of pleasure, it brings him to the society where he finds great pleasure in connection then He drops him again, lower. How can a person hold on during this action? How can he continue and be an adhesion?

R. Simply continue and adhere. I also want to tell you here, later on do you hear this part of the morning lesson? The first part and maybe even the second, do you hear it again, do you listen to it again? It is written I’ve learned from all of my students. If I have time I listen again, to what you ask, and how I answer, and I’m not always content with myself but it helps me to learn you. I highly recommend if you have an opportunity listen again to what we’re talking about in the morning lesson.

How can I say this, these are really signs that upon them we need to reach the goal, this listen to it again how the friends are asking, it helps to get closer to them and connect to them, don’t think that it’s going to corrupt you, simply connect and get closer to one another, from this that you are listening to the lesson and then you will see how much you understand more, deeper.

29. S. (54:57) How can we guard ourselves from egoistic desires when we know we have the privilege of being with the King?

R. These things, these are things that are opposed to another one another, that on one hand I have an ego and the other hand this ego bothers me to get closer to the King to the Creator so what do I do? How do I lead my ego such that slowly gradually I will be able to come closer to the King? That’s our work, to make an effort, this is daily work with the friends.

30. S. (56:15) We learned in the lessons and we just talked about it over many lessons that we should talk through the center of the ten unless the Creator doesn’t hear you. So when we say we have to speak to the Creator I need to get help making a distinction between the types of connection to distinguish what’s correct and what’s not?

R. We’re talking about this all the time sir, just incorporate with what we are saying if you’re asking something specific then I can answer you.

S. I heard you say many times in the lesson that if you don’t turn to the ten the Creator doesn’t hear and doesn’t listen only to the center of the ten. Now we say talk to the Creator directly.

R. Directly is through the center of the ten, you have no more direct than this but the Creator Himself is in the center of the ten you understand, if you turn as you are imagining directly from yourself to the Creator no you don’t reach him.

S. Let’s say I get up in the morning Baal HaSulam tells me to think of the friends, think of the Creator, how do I do it correctly together with the friends?

R. Depict to yourself that you are in the ten, a small group more or less it doesn’t matter how many, and that through this group you turn to Him, you’re willing to serve them, and connect with them, and do whatever they want. Just that they will let you pass through them to the Creator, it depends on them, all your friends in the ten they are holding your connection with the Creator, if they’ll want they will give you, if they won’t want they won’t let you.

S. If I want to follow, regardless of Baal HaSulam, when I wake up in the morning I connect myself to the reality of the feeling of the ten and in this feeling I turn to the Creator about everything?

R. Yes, yes, yes, so start to live it.

31. S. (58:35) I thought about it for a long time and you just spoke about it. It’s a mandatory obligation to hear the first and second part of the lesson and it was easy to do when we only have a morning lesson now we have also the afternoon lesson. Yesterday was a very powerful lesson, excellent lesson the topic of the Zohar, two or three hours you’re under the influence what can you do? So tell me please the first part of the lesson, before everything was clear, you find something in the lesson and you listen to it again, today what is the place of the morning lesson? Is it more important than the afternoon lesson?

R. It’s built in a very simple manner, it’s written in all the Kabbalah sources that the moment a person begins his day, could be in the evening morning it doesn’t matter where he is, when, he begins with this that he connects to the Creator, we begin with this, and thus our first half or first third of our lesson is connection with the Creator, why, for what purpose, how and so on, what were engaged in now, yes? What’s the lesson with the Creator, what’s a lesson called, “Speaking with the Creator”, that’s it so we begin the lesson with this and you can’t otherwise because we need to aim ourselves through the ten to the Creator, and this is true for the whole path, for the whole way until the end of correction to the last point.

The second part of the lesson can already be wider, not necessarily about our connection, not necessarily about through our connection to the Creator but rather different manners of our system itself and the third part is even wider, as TES, “The Study of the Ten Sefirot”, in as much as we may understand or not but this system we may need to learn a bit, and there are people who are very much drawn to this and those that are not but through this we also receive the addition of abundance, addition of force and it helps us. So that’s how our entire lesson is comprised of three parts sometimes there’s two but this that the first part needs to tie us to the Creator, tie us with the Creator, that’s an obligation, without this then what did I get up for, why did I start learning, why am I opening up my computer, and so on. Only in order to connect to Him.

32. S. (01:02:00) How to help the friends appreciate the calling of the Creator as Rabash is writing?

R. Don’t worry for the friends that they will reach adhesion with a Creator before you.

33. S. (01:02:29) I do not appreciate the Creator. Should I pretend to appreciate Him while praying?

R. Yes, you need to play. It’s like we’re playing and we tell kids what they need to do. The game it places you, stands you in this correct state, correct position, and then you begin to feel how correct it is. Who recommended these games for us? People who have reached sensation and sight of truth so listen to them and you will shorten your path a lot, you will shorten a lot of time, you’ll save yourself a lot of time on the path. Pay attention to how ready you are to annul your ego and not be stubborn.

34. S. (01:03:38) We listen to the morning lesson during the day. When you have a physical job where you talk somewhere, we listen to the lesson in those situations but we can’t really concentrate just like during the lesson, then it seems like it’s becoming a habit and this habit then is transferred to the morning lesson you’re sitting in the lesson and you’re like you don’t know how to concentrate.

R. I understand events. The moment they begin to get used to listening to pieces of each sentence yes, then you begin to get used to it and it’s enough but nonetheless as much as possible you need to use each and every moment that you are on the path even that you may not hear the text precisely what’s being said, even if you don’t hear it precisely. I’ve encountered people who worked let’s say in a car shop in such places that there’s a lot of people around them and they would have headphones in their ears and they would listen in this manner and maybe even not listening all the time but they wanted always to be in the background and that’s worthwhile.

Reading excerpt #7 (01:05:45) “We must still understand…”

R. Meaning the purpose of the Creator and creation to bring man to such connection with the Creator that there will be truly as friends, how can I say this? Look, let’s say what is conception? Yes the smallest degree that we are in connection with the Creator when a person feels that he is inside the Creator, yes, that the Creator that is seemingly pregnant and the person as the fetus within Him, that’s the beginning of the connection, and then more and more a person feels how he is inside the Creator, that he is developing in these nine months of pregnancy and that even that he emerges from the Creator he doesn’t exit. Yes, it’s just we refer to it as such, he remains in an even tighter connection with Him even stronger, that he develops next to Him, outside of Him it’s called that he is taking from the Creator His qualities of the Creator. Then he can be, he can exist in such a manner that although there is a greater and greater distance between them but this distance helps a person to feel specifically how connected he is with the Creator because he feels one thing and its opposite, and thus both of them enter into a mutual connection until all the desires will be revealed, all the egoistic desires in man, and upon them will be a connection with the Creator. Then there will be the greatest coarseness, Aviut, that the Creator created to begin with, I have created the evil inclination and upon this will be the greatest connection between man and the Creator, and that’s the end of correction.

35. S. (01:09:50) It feels like the transition between the heart and the brain is open but the passage between the brain and the heart is very selective. How to overcome this selection in order to pass what exists in the brain to the feeling in the heart?

R. Connect with the friends, I have no other advice. Through connection with the friends you will see how much it operates on your heart. Your connection with the friends, it can be intellectual, right in your mind, but what you will receive from them will enter your heart.

36. S. (01:10:48) By feeling the power of the friend and I grow stronger on the path of the Creator can I connect it to the previous excerpt where the friends are telling me that the King’s in town?

R. Yes, that’s precise, you said it very nicely.

Reading excerpt #8 (01:11:32) “Man should depict to himself…”

37. R. (01:12:14) Yes meaning to make an effort to reach qualities like to be merciful like the Creator and then accordingly we will get close to him. I hope we will read it again later and think about it.

Reading excerpt #9 (01:12:31) “I heard from Baal Hasulam…”

R. Yes, meaning as much as possible to depict ourselves as close to the Creator.

38. S. (01:16:55) What is the goal and the reason that allows a person to speak with the Creator?

R. The goal for talking to the Creator is to hasten our advancement in a desirable way before the Creator so that by us turning to Him and asking from Him we want to Him to draw us faster and for the path to be short and good, short between us, good in our eyes, and for it also to be short and good in the eyes of the Creator for the benefit of us both because what’s not good for a person won’t be good for the Creator.

39. S. (01:17:47) Why is the gratitude and abundance that comes to him from the greatness of the King?

R. This is how he develops his bestowal and therefore is included in the King’s palace.

40. S. (01:18:08) What does it mean to value this call of the Creator and to speak with Him how do we reach this state?

R. That’s called raising MAN, if we turn to the Creator and then by raising a MAN we discover in the Creator the deficiency to help us and then this is how we advance quicker to Him.

41. S. (01:18:40) What should we do when it seems to us that it’s impossible to reach the King’s palace? Why do we feel that we are not worthy of His revelation?

R. The Creator evokes such feelings in us on purpose so that we will ask and turn to Him and want to receive such a form that it’s called to come close to the king’s palace. We can, like we are now, be in the Creator. The King’s palace means to feel ourselves in the Creator, we can’t, rather only under the condition that we will somewhat be similar to Him more and more, then we’ll come closer to the King’s palace and then enter, entering the King’s palace is to truly take upon ourselves the ten complete Sefirot, not in all of their vastness but at least somewhat.

42. S. (01:19:45) Is it possible to anger the Creator by turning to Him?

R. No the Creator has no will to receive therefore we cannot, even though it’s written that we can bring Him to anger and He has wrath, et cetera, it’s like the Torah speaks in the language of people where it’s not like we are, that are angry, rather the anger of the Creator is the sorrow of the Creator we could say more the sorrow of the Creator for us not wanting to advance so much in our progress towards Him.

43. S. (01:20:28) You said that as much as the Creator pleases my friends to this extent I love Him. What does it mean that He pleases the friends and what if I see that the friends are suffering? Do I need to believe above reason that they are enjoying?

R. I must see my friends enjoy spiritual development helping one another and I can be as an example and the first one that is clarified before them.

44. S. (01:21:15) Can we measure how much the Creator is benefiting the friends? Is it measured in my egoistic vessels with my eyes?

R. I think that we can only see this to the extent in which I, only to the extent in which I want to be good I can identify what good is, very simply. Hence if a person wants to see something in others he himself has to first make from himself that form and then he will see whether others have this in them or not.

45. S. (01:21:57) What form of need is in a person to speak with the King and why are there people that have this need constantly while others don’t have this need and there is nothing to talk about with them?

R. This all depends on the extent to which a person yearns to see himself in creation, in the center of creation, in connection with the Creator, in a dialogue with the Creator, this all depends on the root of the soul but it also really depends on his attitude toward the friends, it’s written that envy, lust, and honor take a person out of the world meaning if we use such qualities that all of us have, envy, lust, and honor, then we can see others through this and envy especially will awaken us to grow. It will sustain us and we will be able to advance.

46. S. (01:23:05) Do I need to always be in gratitude toward the Creator in order not to fall from my states and if so what will help me and my friends to do this?

R. I must constantly be in thanks toward the Creator no matter what happens it doesn’t matter, in what conditions, actions, deeds, means it doesn’t matter what wherever I am. I need to be as much as possible in gratitude and thanks toward the Creator and this can all be only in if I’m in the quality of bestowal or yearning for the quality of bestowal and then I see that even the Creator does all sorts of problems for me or seemingly He does it in order to take me out of reception and into bestowal.

47. S. (01:24:02) When we pray in the ten and when we’re in the lesson great deficiencies are revealed. Is this an opportunity to speak and ask of the King?

R. Yes, and all together we need to pay a little bit more attention to the matter of prayer. Prayer meaning the request to the Creator of what we are asking of Him, how we’re addressing Him, how we are aware and thankful to Him.

48. S. (01:24:51) I feel the difference in the appeal to the Creator when it’s alone to the friends or together through the friends to the Creator. Do we need to agree on a time to pray together?

R. Yes, we can define times for prayer for appealing to the Creator and even to talk about what we’re turning to Him about, what we’re asking, what’s important to us, that actually needs to be our work too.

49. S. (01:25:40) Each person who is afraid or in a dangerous state, even a person or an atheist, starts to speak to a Creator without even knowing that He exists. What is this first point of contact with the Creator? What allows a person to start to speak with Him?

R. We can’t turn to the Creator alone. A person who turns to the Creator on his own it’s also good because nevertheless he’s also turning to Him but he’s not coming to contact with the Creator, he doesn’t get to that, for that we need to at least be two, or three, several people, towards which a person nullifies himself. Then in this example of nullifying himself toward the friends he can annul himself toward the Creator and then he’s in equivalence of the quality of bestowal with the Creator, I for my beloved and my beloved for me as much as there is equivalent to here, and then he is in a mutual connection, in this dual connection, I for my beloved and my beloved for me it’s called, but if he does not connect to the friends then he can’t connect to the Creator either because he didn’t annul himself in actuality towards someone, it’s best to do this in the ten, but the minimum for a group is two, it’s written.

So at least he has one more and he’s annuling himself before him and then he can already connect to the Creator after that, but it’s not that he has no one that he’s annuling himself before. Pay attention to this, this is very important and people come to the world and leave the world and they have no benefit if they don’t connect in such a manner with others. We, Bnei Baruch need to arrange this in a more and more correct way. I hope that within the next month we will begin to arrange this more and more, and will thus come closer.

50. S. (01:28:28) How should we work with unfounded hatred when you forget about the Creator and you don’t want to see your friends?

R. That’s a sign of the big ego that the friends don’t care about but I want to be connected to the Creator and on one hand this is a big ego, on the other hand it could be a corrupted soul but this is what we have and it’s a problem we need to take care of that. If a person doesn’t grab his ego and begin to work with it, nothing will help him.

51. S. (01:29:23) What to do if you feel the greatness of the Creator but at the first part of the lesson it’s very hard to cope with its hardness of the body. Why is the Creator doing this and what to do with this state?

R. The body is fatigued is an excuse from our ego that it’s tired. We need to try nevertheless through the connection with the friends to come to a state that we, to come to a state that specifically through the connection with the friends we get the forces and energy.

52. S. (01:30:13) Is there a difference between repeating the morning lesson up until the afternoon lesson or after the afternoon lesson?

R. That’s according to your comfort, during your work or whenever you’re busy I can’t say. During the day, during the night, whenever you can go over the questions again and the answers and you’ll see how much benefit there is from this.
