1. Rav’s Introduction: What can I say these excerpts are very important, that we are reading before us, what are they teaching us, not to be in an argument internally a person with himself also not between us rather to focus our energy on requests from their Creator so that the Creator can raise us above the argument and in such a way we begin moving towards the goal otherwise we are immersed in our will to receive and can’t get out of it like mud like quicksand. So let’s see what he writes.

Reading Excerpt #7 (01:29) “ during The Descent one must not argue with his will to receive..”

2. R. (02:48) Meaning not to argue with your ego you also don’t need to think that you can defeat it that you can be above it play with it manage it anything except to turn to the Creator so that He does this work and you will then already have a corrected will to the receive, only turn to the Creator from this you see that the Creator created the will to receive not for you to defeat it or argue with it but in order to turn to the Creator each time that the Creator would do it so our whole work is called the work of the Creator as we turn to the Creator and the Creator is waging the war with the ego that He Himself created so that you will ask to have an opportunity a reason to turn to the Creator to be saved from your ego and that’s how we should always work.

3. S. (04:06) We have group systems, we have the ten, we have frameworks, we have the morning lesson and it seems like we are investing so many efforts to defeat our egos in such moments. What does it mean that the Creator helps?

R. You will ask of Him demand from Him and then you will see how much He helps but turning to Him is something that you have to do in any case even if you do not identify that He is helping you so it’s worthwhile for you to ask of Him because there is no other way to be saved from the ego and win against the ego and build a force of bestowal and resemble the Creator and come to the purpose of Creation, there’s no other way.

So the ego is called help made against me it grows in you and thus it helps you turn to the Creator otherwise you will not have any reason to you have any impetus to turn to the Creator and you would be just to keep trying to fight the ego on your own as maybe you want to do now and you do it instinctively but no, we never we can never do anything on our own our whole work is called the Creator’s work and the Creator’s work means that I reveal I discover and accept upon myself that it’s all the work of the Creator that He does everything from the beginning to the end of creation.

He is the owner of all the operations and no one else and so I only need to identify what is good for the attainment for the purpose of the Creation adhesion with the Creator through the friends and ask for that. I have the opportunity to get involved in Creation in the process of corrections only by asking so there is no more than prayer there is no more than request that I can turn to the Creator and make a request and by that I begin and end my entire role.

S. Each time you turn to the Creator you think did I do everything relative to the friends did I do everything relative to the group and each time something else is remaining that you didn’t do yet, meaning you didn’t work enough you didn’t invest enough you didn’t participate enough and you’re thinking what would I ask if I didn’t work enough?

R. This and that, still you’ve done something, ask, you didn’t yet clarify everything there’s more things you know you still lack power of scrutiny and not enough power of requests it’s still incomplete you still don’t feel pain from the state that you’re in, you don’t even discover the disturbances, fine, whatever you have like a little child he cries even when he doesn’t really want it but he cries he’s going to get something for it.

4. S. (08:07) According to my feelings I have the greatest friends in the world. We are connected, focused, I’m asking from the Creator for them. In the meantime I don’t get an answer or I don’t feel, what to do?

R. Check, check how you ask for them truly from all your heart? Did you do everything that you could do in corporeality before you moved to spirituality and asked for them? Just examine yourself carefully. Are you with them with an open heart, and an honest heart and then you’ll see.

5. S. (9:03) this new state that we run to above the will to receive. Do we need to build it from the connection between us, yes?

R. Of course if we turn to the Creator we first have to organize ourselves in connection that we all want to bestow to each other only good things, to support each other, to be such that all the friends are relying on each other, certain of each other that they are all working for each other. Therefore they cannot do any harm or anything unpleasant to each other and only then we can turn to the Creator with a request to connect us in such a spiritual way that the Creator would be revealed between us

6. S. (10:17) How can a person ask if he does not have any forces and he does not understand that he is under the control of the will to receive?

R. Still ask. As much as you can ask from the Creator with all your possible strength then you will see that suddenly you have the strength, you have intentions, understanding and you will discover many more things that will help you assemble a complete prayer.

7. S. (10:59) In your answer  earlier you were talking about discernments that need to be made and the pain that need to be felt. Is it possible that these pains are upon us but we do not know how to properly recognize what they are, or why?

R. All of that is from above. We do not need to think about where it comes from, where it comes from. It is enough for us that he gives us the possibility to turn and to ask.

8. S. (11:46) You recommend not to argue with yourself but to focus on the connection between us, yes? To focus our forces on the request to the Creator to connect between us. Sometimes you advise us to do a certain analysis on what is bothering us. Sometimes you even advise to write on a piece of paper what is bothering you and then turn according to that. Now there is a period of time where it is best to do this kind of work?

R. It is intermittent, intermittent, sometimes like this, sometimes is like that. What is important is to increase the deficiency, the request. To increasethe force of the lack of the request to the Creator.

S. But the deficiency comes from a scrutiny, yes?

R. Right.

S. And the scrutiny, whether you want it or not you’re touching these things, you’re analyzing, you enter what is bothering you, it is not so clear how to do it correctly.

R. No. The fact that you were asking and delving into your own problems and deficiencies that is right but just don’t forget and don’t detach from the fact that it all comes from the Creator so that you will have a reason to turn to him. That is what I mean, that after all you do not need to fight the disturbances themselves rather just be thankful for these disturbances because you get from that a greater lack, deficiency to turn to the Creator.

So without the disturbances you would not have any connection with the Creator so overcoming the disturbances is not that you subjugate the disturbances or eliminate or delete the disturbances, not at all but rather above them you build the connection with the Creator. That is what is meant by love covers old crimes. That the greater the crimes that unfold, on top then you can strengthen your connection to the Creator only on top of the disturbances and this is how we should always learn throughout our life that the more we receive disturbances they are not disturbances from your friends or from your spouse or even our neighboring enemies. It is all disturbances from the Creator only, on different levels and we just need to know how to work with them. Not in a direct straightforward manner, that is stupid, rather turn to Him so that he will cancel these disturbance and give us strength to overcome them, to rise above and to connect to the Creator above the disturbances. Love covers all crimes

9. S.. (15:24) I actually have the feeling that I am able to manage the will to receive. Is this an illusion?

R. You will discover later. In general you have some overconfidence.

S. Exactly, so what do you do with me feeling this way?

R. Submit yourself, subdue yourself towards the friends and then you will benefit a lot from that.

10. S. (16:00) There is no doubt that the Creator is bringing us here a constant state to truly understand how we need his help every moment but I need to scrutinize with my friends from the state that I receive what I really need to ask of Him, so what is a friend in the study?

R. What can you scrutinize? Only that you lack connection, the force of bestowal, the force of connection above all the disturbances. The deeper you go into the disturbances the more you will drown, you won’t be able to get out. Rather we always have to be above the disturbances and arguments in everything in life. Everything in life. It is worthwhile for us to, you know, just like sailing on the sea like on a boat. You are on the surface of the water even if it is bad water, deep water, raging water, doesn’t matter. You are advancing on top of that towards the goal taking into account everything that you are going through as forces that aid you in attaining the goal, not against you. If you think that it is against you then you are canceling the Creator who is the good that does good in all the actions towards everyone.

S. So I need to ascribe every state and thank Him for every state?

R. Every state. It is like you were hearing something new, isn’t that what is written that there’s none else besides Him?

Reading Excerpt 8 (18:11) “Now that he is in decline…” twice.

11. R. (21:19) This is our correct attitude to disturbances. I do not argue, I do not argue but I submit myself and lower my head and say that everything is going to pass and I’m not just lowering my head, meaning I do not want to fight directly with the disturbances. I have to go above reason. Above reason means that I still lack the reason of Holiness, I do not understand where and how it comes from but I accept the rulership of the Creator over everything that everything is Him and comes from Him and I’m going to treat all the disturbances like that. I’m going above my reason. I do not have the reason of Holiness but I am going above the reason that I have now.

12. S. (22:45) Generally I feel insecurity and anxiety because somehow I feel that if I commit even a tiny transgression then the Creator will punish me with internal or external disturbances so I truly feel myself as a coward. I’m not brave and I’m not strong against the Creator I cannot stand against because I have a lot of fears and anxieties that He will punish my will to receive in different forms so should I overcome this or should I work on this or am I not strong enough?

R. You have to overcome the reason. Why do you submit yourself to the Creator, submit yourself? Because He is stronger. If you thought that he was weaker than you would start fighting Him and try to be above Him and this is the mistake. That is where it lies. You have to check whether there’s anything in reality above the Creator and why your attitude to Him is that way. You have to reach a state where you will determine that there is none else besides Him and that He is greater than everything else. Everything else is below Him, like nothing.

He created everything and governs everything and there’s nothing and no one at all that can think about going against Him but only to ask of Him to assemble creation. All the flaws in creation, everything that seems broken to us, shattered, it all comes from Him in order for us to discover that He did everything in both incomplete and complete manner and by asking from Him we will adhere to Him and then He will correct. That is how we discover the corrected world and in the corrected world we discover that we are bonded with Him and there is no other force besides Him both in the shattering and in the correction and everything. We are like some bystanders and so the created beings are in order for them to see what is creation that he created for them and what is their place in creation.

13. S. (26:18) Why whoever turns to the Creator is called a proselyte?

R. Because he comes to connect with the Creator,those that do not want to connect to the Creator is called a gentile and those that have corrected to the Creator are called Jewish, Yehudi.

S. Is there a certain overcoming in relation to the Creator in this?

R. It all depends on the person, it all depends on the person. It depends on how much the person is and what degree he is after the shattering of the vessel of Adam HaRishon. After the shattering those who were above fell below and those that were not so on the top fell a little less. In short, as usual after the shattering it is opposite to what it was and so now they rise.

S. A proselyte is one who overcomes?

R. A proselyte is one who wants to connect to the Creator..

14. S. (28:03) What is the meaning that the state of descent, we wait for the revival of the dead?

R. This is what it means that we rise above the will to receive that governs us and we transcend the will to receive through intention to connection in order to bestow towards adhesion. That means that we have come to the resurrection of the dead. Except for the will to receive there is nothing, so the ill to receive that existed before it died it had the desire to only fulfill itself and now this desire is revived, meaning is now wants to bestow and this kind of awakening from within the egoistic desire. First in smaller layers and then a greater part to bestow, to connect with the others, to give to the others, this is what is meant by revival of the dead. So from their state which is referred to as the burial, grave or we are that we are buried in our desires to receive from there we begin to rise above and build the living pieces of Adam HaRishon and thus we become alive and that is the revival of the dead.

15. S. (29:57) He writes about the state of descent where the person is under the ego nevertheless, a person accepts that he is waiting for the revival of the dead. So there is some illumination there so he’s not completely under the SItra Achra.

R. Yes, otherwise he would not realize that he’s dead.

S. Where does that state come from?

R. Of course, it comes from above that there is an illumination from the upper source. There’s a person that already has the opportunity, the ability to awaken and he feels that he has a weakening and you should try to relate this awakening through as well to the upper force and start working with himself. Meaning to assemble the group as soon as possible, the friends, the society, where each helps the other maintain forces of giving and this way he needs to establish himself further.

S. This is how we acquire the deficiency of the reason for holiness?

R. Yes, exactly that way.

16. S. (31:28) I think the words I am waiting for the salvation from the Creator include many states, turmoil, angry, how do I measure that I’m still going through the states?

R. Only by connecting to the environment, participating the lesson, that is it, you have the books, our lessons, Archive, the friends all kinds of events that we have all the time and you have your small group that you should also get better and better organized unless you would go back more with us, so that we will see you on the screens everyday.

17. S. (32:39) What is the reason of Kedusha?

R. It is that I want to know the Creator by putting the left and right to the middle line which is called Daat; Hochma Bina, Daat.

S. In this excerpt and also in the previous ones it is written that because we do not have reason of Holiness we need faith above reason seemingly when we give the reason of the Holiness we will be able to talk to our ego, meaning this well that’s the question.

R. The reason of the Holiness enters the faith of above reason, faith above reason is like the force of Bina, the force of bestowal and the reason of the Kedusha already relies on faith and appears in it, it is like the light of Hochma that appears within the light of Hassadim.

18. S. (33:58) Why are all the good things and not only has happened in the descent, it seems like it should be in the opposite of that?

R. That is how it appears to you in your will to receive. That the good things have happened during the descent.

S. How can you see it another way?

R. Try to be aimed at the connection of the Creator and then you will see that it is not so.

19. S. (34:41) Many of these excerpts wew are reading now of Baal HaSulam and Rabash, sounds like a dialogue with it was received a kind of a negotiation, the question is, is this an allegory that they’re using an inner dialogue, where is this actually happening?

R. This is the internal dialogue that takes place within the person who is in between the two forces and does not know how to reconcile, that is exactly how it works.

S. So if a state comes, I have to enter into some kind of a conversation with myself?

R. Yes. You are always in your dialogue with yourself, of course you are.

S. My goal is here to kinda am I going to doing some kind of a negotiating with the will to receive, don’t tell me this this or that or am I just supposed to arrange a certain attitude?

R. After the arguments you clarify how to keep sailing and then you go ahead and keep going but without the power of the scrutiny you cannot do anything.

S. Where does the group enter the dialogue with this point inside of me?

R. Also in this dialogue.

S. But it’s seemingly as an external external force or is it all inside of me?

R. It is all inside of you, both the group and all the friends. You think all of that is outside of you, it is always all inside of you as we heard many times from perception of reality that whatever we think is outside is actually a replica of what is inside. All of those friends in the whole world, in general including all the constellations of stars and everything that exists in the universe, it is all me seeing myself the still, vegetative, animate and speaking levels of myself.

S. So simply the concern is that I’m afraid to be in the new mechanism and it seems like I’m running away from the group sometimes?

R. No, you’re seeing them in a different way yes, you go inside and you see them in a different way so it is your group.

S. So is it good to be engaged and look for the strength within and have negotiations within?

R. Yes yes, try this you will not be able to hold on for a long time but it is good to get back to back to that, sometimes at least.

20. S. (38:01) This expectation for the salvation of the Creator where does that come when?

R. When, what, the salvation in itself?

S. The full expectation that truly the Creator will help you.

R. This comes even the smaller degrees that each time you are despaired and you do not know what can happen and you have two options in front of you. Either you incorporate with the friends and discover that through them that you need to adhere to the Creator and only the salvation will come from that or you escape and wait in the corporeal sense and you also advance still but in a very very, how should I put it, in very slow, incorrectly.

S. So this comes from the adhesion with the friends?

R. Yes. The short and straight forward and truthful way is always through the adhesion with the friend.

21. S. (39:30) The work against the desire, it says not to resist the desire, frankly many times there are states when a desire comes and we need to choose whether to resist it and not implemented or not that is the person choice a person has?

R. The man’s choice is to scrutinize the desire and see whether there’s a higher desire then the one that wants to govern him and then make us struggle and to rise to the higher desire and belonging to that.

S. We get this classical example, if I want to watch a movie then I make a choice of watching some series or to invest the time in dissemination and things that are beneficial to the path. So there’s no need to be some choice here, a frontal one before the desire.

R. Yes.

S. So what desires do we have to deal with frontally, are there such desires?

R. The desires closer to the ten.

S. What does that mean closer to the ten?

R. Where the ten can come together in this desire, exist in the ten and not in you alone.

22. S. (41:17) In what way is the created being similar to the Creator if the created being asks for salvation of the Lord and the Lord is one who does and saves?

R. The created being is not similar to the Creator in anything only in his ability to resemble the Creator by rising above his desire to receive and being opposite to it and thus resembling the Creator.

23. S. (41:59) How do I subjugate?

R. How to surrender by receiving the desires of the friends above your desires, that means that you surrender. Let’s say, they say we are going to do a gathering of friends today and you wanted to go play soccer. So you’re going according to the desire.

S. We, this is something that we try to do most of the day and then you turned around and the will to receive like a roller coaster takes you as if that is the most important thing.

R. Yes, that is natural so that you start upgrading yourself in choosing this against that.

S. When you meet the friends and annul and you don’t feel anything but the will to receive is that an okay state?

R. I did not understand.

S. If I’m with the friends, everything’s okay, nothing, the spiritually is important. Is that a good state or do we need to do something beyond that?

R. Why is that a good state if you detach from the friends you should always try to be together with them, that is the most important, difficult thing.

24. S. (43:32) We want to raise the importance of the Creator in the ten, should we ask the Creator to reveal his glory to us or should we want to raise faith inside the concealment, so through which one can we give more contentment to the Creator?

R. Repeat it again.

S. Should we ask for the revelation of the glory of the Creator or should we want to stay in concealment and be grateful to him in concealment with faith by which one can we give more contentment?

R. No no no. In all the states, revelation to the Creator is preferable. We exist in order to reveal the Creator in the whole of creation, to all created beings in all states,to bring the Creator of hiring the light of the Ein Sof, so it fills all of reality as it was before.

S. But in order to go to the Creator and demand for the relation of his glory, what should be the reason behind it?

R. I did not understand.

S. I want the Creator to reveal his glory to me, to feel Joy, pleasure or to feel wiser, to give contentment to him?

R. That is your choice what you want. But if you want the Creator to appear in order to bring him containment because his desire is to be revealed to the created being and by that you fulfill the purpose of creation.

25. S. (46:07) It is clear that everything is relative to me but how to connect it here, do I need to reserve the Creator or the ten needs to resemble the Creator?

R. You have to connect to the friends and with all of your strength cause them to connect between each other and to resemble the Creator, that is the role for each and every one in the ten.

26. S. (46:59) How to change my friend’s desires to be more important than mine?

R. I did not hear.

S. How can I make my friends’ desires always more important than mine?

R. To think about it all the time, the more time you invested into it the more important it will come to you, you will see that.

27. S. (47:57) I woke up this morning with the desires that want my attention and I’m here to do the work and to see the lesson and I’m happy, that with those desires in the work that I’m doing because I can see the two worlds. Otherwise I will not see this and that, what else can I do.

R. I did not understand the question. What you can do is what we learn, incorporate with your friends, try to be together with them and long to the Creator together with them, this is basically our general action.

28. S. (49:00) The desire to participate in the lesson or in the ten meeting sometimes collides with the necessities, which one do I follow, do I follow the necessity or the desire to connect with the friends?

R. I cannot make the decision for you what you need to do. Necessities could be such that we could even leave the lesson or the meeting with the friends because we have no choice. But usually it depends on the person’s consideration. How much he person weighs the importance of the group, the meeting with the friends, the lesson, on top of all kinds of things he has in life.

S. What is the disturbance, my desire to be connected or the fact that I need to go now do something else?

R. It is in order for you to make a choice of what is important and each time you will have such disturbances, without them it is impossible.

S. So if I go above reason can I choose necessity, does that mean that I’m going above reason?

R. Yes, but not always it is not always the case. In some cases it is neither condemned or praised or things that there are inevitable that like life-threatening situations but typically in our normal circumstances we are given such states so that we choose the connection, we choose corrections, the group.

29. S. (51:15) I cannot talk with the body and argue with it. The body, is the body the will to receive in order to receive?

R. Yes.

S. Meaning he sorted and scrutinized it?

R. Yes with what he has right now.

S. How does he get to a point that he takes up on himself Torah and Mitzvot, where does the fuel come for such a state?

R. From studying and being connected with the friends.

S. Meaning that the investment of friends and we maybe we can say friends that have difficulty to connect, this is the investment that gives them strength at this critical point?

R. Yes.

30. S. (52:17) We learned that there is none else besides Him and in our feelings, desires awaken as if they are additional characters, how can I identify that it is all about Him behind everything?

R. Always come back and sort out all the possibilities and you will see that it is all incoming from Him, there is no other reason.

Reading Excerpt #9 (52:56) “Sometimes a person Begins the work of bestowal and explains ..” twice

31. S. (56:00) How can I deal with the feeling that the Creator’s not letting me do it enough towards my ten and towards the group? I feel envy that’s burning in me and anger at the Creator.

R. Raise your claims, problems, demands, argue with Him and see what happens please, show Him what you are thinking, He knows it anyway but when you reveal it means that you are revealing it to Him and that will also give you a vessel to feel something more in it.

32. S. (56:43) What does it mean that someone was high up and fell and now merits awaking, awakening to what?

R. Doesn’t matter what if he was higher and he fell now he has Reshimot from both states.

33. S. (57:00) Do the disturbances come to show us that we are not aimed correctly in our request to the purpose of creation and how to correct the intention?

R. We don’t need to judge each and every state for the better or for worse all states are for the better, we just have to try as much as possible to realize every state going forward,meaning towards connection between us and the Creator.

34. S. (57:37) What does it mean to practice to strengthen the connection with a concealed Creator?

R. In practice you try to turn from each and every state from the common prayer between us the ten to the Creator, this is basically the right realization.

35. S. (58:04) Can we say that the desire to receive is the result of the shattering of the vessels and the shattering of the souls as it relates to something else?

R. We can say it that way, you’re right.

S. Correction of the souls correcting the shattering of the vessels.

R. Yes yes.

36. S. (58:41) Can we be more precise, what’s the difference between scrutiny and argument?

R. To argue means you are arguing with the Creator and corruption or correction you clarify it inside of yourself probably that’s how it works.

S. I’m asking about the argument with the will to receive. What do we do with that?

R. So what do you place against this, what’s the argument here?

37. S. (59:25) We learned about the intention and we put a big emphasis on this, of course the work is strengthening during these times and it begins to be revealed and discovered more and more. When you do this more urgently you discover that you can’t do this, that at this moment the necessity of the Creator is revealed, meaning your desire to receive is revealed, and that state that excerpt that we just read there is a moment where you just want to ask, me to ask, from the correction from the desire to receive to the desire to bestow. So the order of the work could be that the intention to bring Him contentment brings Him to reveal our nature right at this moment seemingly automatically should be coming the desire for correction. Is that correct and how much is right for me to ask for Him to correct me?

R. I will tell you it doesn’t depend on what you know or don’t’ know it depends on what you want what desire now arises from you, the Creator reads these desires internally it’s not how you process them and speak well and deliberate.

He reads the desires that are at the bottom the core of your heart and that’s why our work needs to be inside our heart and before these desires begin to appear in the heart towards the Creator, meaning we need to make corrections in advance and then the heart will speak differently towards the Creator. We can’t control the heart the moment a desire awakens we have to organize the heart ahead of time towards connection between us and then when we come to the request the heart will be ready.

38. S. (01:01:56) The connection to the Creator comes according to the article it’s written “come unto Pharaoh” so the connection of the Creator is before the recognition of evil or is there some recognition of evil and then we reveal the Creator?

R. So by what will there be a connection with the Creator? How do you turn to the Creator?

S. Just a desire to come closer to him

R. Just for no reason there’s no such thing what for?

S. More than likely a deficiency.

R. What kind?

S. There is somewhere a deficiency.

R. No if it’s just any deficiency or probably something that doesn’t work it has to be as scrutinized and precise as possible and directly aiming for the Creator.

S. So the initial deficiency comes from Above or we don’t know this yet?

R. Yes but with it you can’t turn to Him because it comes from Him.

39. S. (01:07:20)

R. That he already went through various states and the state he achieved he concentrates in his request towards the Creator many requests of many created beings of many states.

S. If possible more, why if I’m not yet worthy does the Creator nevertheless help me, why is it like that?

R. This is the matter that we are never worthy of anything except the Creator makes such a calculation that he brings us closer even though we’re not worthy.

40. S. (01:08:40) What does it mean to go and work in the way everyone goes, meaning only in the manner of action meaning that you’re working with the will to receive already and it retreats?

R. It doesn’t return, we never return back, we always advance.

S. What is the deed to work for the ego? If I’m instead of working with the intention I’m working with the deed, meaning to work with a will to receive for myself again?

R. What does it mean to work in practice in action?

S. It’s like there’s intention and there’s the action and in many ways the person cannot work and think about the intention he’s just doing an action and by that he suffices, at least I have something I’m holding on to something.

R. Yes.

S. So is that called a person goes back and becomes small and that suffices him or he has something and he subdues himself before the will to receive?

R. No he doesn’t surrender he understands what is his place for now and he settles for it as long as he has some kind of adhesion.

S. What is the work of the collective of the general people where everybody is working on this?

R. I don’t understand what’s the connection with what you just said?

S. He’s saying to go with those who are all the workers. What does it mean on the way of all those who are working?

R. Ask again.
