WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE IN GOD
To answer this question is first to understand that, as Rabbi Michael Laitman explains in the link below, God is not an existence of a physical form just like we were encourage to imagine in our corporeal world or by most religions, but rather It is The Upperst Quality that we are supposed to attain in alikeness. However, since That Upper Quality is such a huge and such an apart a Quality from us to attain, on the way toward Him, we were given the Creator, some sort of a quality in small parts to attain step by step, until we reach the higher Quality.
Observe that I did say “Higher Quality” – since That Upperst Quality is supposedly unattainable – it meant to entice us to a better state always and infinitely. If and only if ( because this couldn´t happen according to the Purpose of Creation) the essence of God dies or stop, our desire dies too, and without This Desire that God has given us – we are nothing, we simply don´t exist in any other realistic manner (remember that our corporeal reality is the imaginary one, or just a mirroring reality of our spiritual state).
So returning to the question: Why should I believe in God?
You shouldn´t, if you don`t want to – but not believing in God is like not believing in the possibility and existence your upper being.

Question: You say that there is no God, so what is there?
Answer: There is an upper force that manages, develops, and fills our world. We can talk about it only to the degree that we discover it. This force is called “Bore” (Creator), “Bo – Re” meaning come (discover) and you will see.
When people think that God exists, but in a corporeal form like a person, this is simply a misunderstanding of the entirety of nature. We always talk only about what exists in relation to all of us. If a person doesn’t reveal this force within him, then it doesn’t exist; if he discovers it, then it exists.
Comment: The wisdom of Kabbalah states that there is “Atzmuto – His essence,” some kind of plan or program.
Answer: Right, but we cannot talk about it. This is the initial, first force of nature that is beyond our attainment. We attain only what is included within our desire to receive and to enjoy, which was created by Him.
