NETILAT YADAYIM (נטילת ידיים): PURIFYING (WASHING OF THE BODY) RITUAL BEFORE THE MAIN READINGS OF `PRAYER OF MANY´ THIS WEEK.
Where Did I Come From and Where Am I Going
There is no Light with a Kli and in order to advance I must want both of them.
If you are working for the success of the group but more and more feel that it is for the benefit of the ego, you must be happy for recognizing the evil.
If my relation to the group despairs me and I tie this relation to the goal, as I need to do with each and every situation, then this situation transforms into a correct action. I see that I am an egoist and I can’t be any other way, and then I see that there is none else besides Him, which means that the Creator arranged this situation for me. It is clear that I need to do it, and from within the point of this clarification, I must find the way to receive the greatness of the goal. I need to feel that I am evil, as opposed to what I would like, as opposed to the Light.
There is no Light without the Kli, and the sensation must include them both. When I have Light and a Kli, I have two points of reference of where I came from and where I am going. Now I am only missing the force, and I need to acquire it. And thus this repeats itself from level to level, from state to state, and thus we advance step after step.
