RECITATION BEFORE THE TIKKUN RACHEL AND TIKKUN LEAH:
Psalms Chapter 102
12 My days are like a lengthening shadow; and I am withered like grass.
Psalms Chapter 137
3 For there they that led us captive asked of us words of song, and our tormentors asked of us mirth: {N}
‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion.’
Psalms Chapter 79
יב וְהָשֵׁב לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ שִׁבְעָתַיִם, אֶל-חֵיקָם;
12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, {N}
wherewith they have reproached Thee, O Lord.
CONCLUSION OF TIKKUN RACHEL:
Isaiah Chapter 52
3 Why boastest thou thyself of evil, O mighty man? The mercy of God endureth continually.
TIKKUN LEAH:
Psalms Chapter 42
2 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God.
