PRAYER OF TEFILLAT GESHEM תְּפִלַּת גֶּשֶׁם:

DAN, SON OF JACOB

Genesis Chapter 30 בְּרֵאשִׁית

ו  וַתֹּאמֶר רָחֵל, דָּנַנִּי אֱלֹהִים, וְגַם שָׁמַע בְּקֹלִי, וַיִּתֶּן-לִי בֵּן; עַל-כֵּן קָרְאָה שְׁמוֹ, דָּן.

6 And Rachel said: ‘God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son.’ Therefore called she his name Dan.
