טז  אַל-תִּשְׁטְפֵנִי, שִׁבֹּלֶת מַיִם–    וְאַל-תִּבְלָעֵנִי מְצוּלָה;
וְאַל-תֶּאְטַר-עָלַי בְּאֵר    פִּיהָ.

16 Let not the waterflood overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up; {N}
and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
