R. Doubling is double the Reshimot, the records of Katnut and the records of Gadlut.
S. It happened in the Gadlut of Nekudim?
R. In the Gadlut of Nekudim they made couplings over the records of Gadlut, that’s why they’ve got Gadlut and that’s it.
S. So where’s the doubling here?
R. The records were from Katnut, a coupling was made over them, the Partzufim of Katnut extended and then the coupling was made over the records of Gadlut and over them there was a coupling and the Partzufim of Gadlut extended and then they broke. This is what he says that GAR of Nekudim brought the first restriction and the bottom Hey descended from Nikvey Eynaim to the Peh and a coupling was made in the Peh in the whole degree and caused all these levels of Gadlut of Nekudim to emerge. R. We can say it does. The world of Nekudim in Katnut is Bina, the world of Nekudim in Gadlut is Malchut and the world of Nekudim in Gadlut which is Malchut broke, couldn’t receive lights in order to bestow.
S. The expansion of the Gadlut, is it thanks to the expansion of the Gadlut, that’s why they thought it was even possible to have the ability?

And this Sefira caused the Gadlut to become Katnut again, the screen disappeared. You may ask anything even if it’s the most crazy concept.
9. S. (18:45) Does the shattering influence the parts that are above the Gadlut of the world of Nekudim, does it influence the Zivugim, the couplings that exist above the Parsa?
R. How could that be?
S. Why not? Because it includes everything and every part includes everything in it, is included in it?
R. A shattering means that there were great lights and small vessels. Previously the vessels were small and the lights were small, so everything’s okay. You’re in Katnut of the world of Nekudim. Now as the world of Nekudim caused a Gadlut, the vessels developed from Katnut to Gadlut but it wasn’t justified, that was not justified. S. So why do we need anything to come out first in Katnut?
R. Without Katnut, you cannot have Gadlut, isn’t that clear? How can something start from being big? It has to be first small in Katnut, then go through steps of growth until it reaches adulthood, Gadlut.
S. Was the world AK born directly in Gadlut?
R. Yes, there it happens this way.
S. So I’m asking why?
R. In the world of AK, you have only one state, Gadlut.
S. I’m asking why the world of Atzilut has only the state of Gadlut?
R. It’s below the Tabur, it doesn’t have the lights to correct itself.
S. So what is happening in Katnut and what’s happening in Gadlut?
R. Then come the Reshimot from the Gadlut, you realize them and then receive Gadlut. When we receive Gadlut and start to expand according to the Gadlut you reach a state where they break.
S. Question: What was in Nekudim?

S. So what happens in Atzilut in Katnut and then in its Gadlut?

R. But there’s no Gadlut without Katnut. What’s the difference between Gadlut and Katnut whatever we are talking about? In Katnut, we have vessels of Katnut without the Rosh, right? And in Gadlut you have the vessels of Gadlut with the Rosh, Toch and Sof and all the discernments.
S. Maybe I don’t understand Katnut and Gadlut?
R. Have you seen small children? And you’ve also seen grown ups or bigger kids. So what’s the difference between the smaller ones and the bigger ones? When they grow up they have the sense, the strength, the vessels, the smaller ones don’t, it’s the same here.
S. Same thing here meaning?
R. Meaning, here in Katnut of the world of Nekudim we are lacking the vessels and in Gadlut of the world of Nekudim we are seeing how the world of Nekudim is attaining these vessels and sustaining them.
16. S. (31:33) The embryo grows from below up according to which example?
R. It has records, it has the records. He’s drawing the light according to the records, according to the desires that awaken in it, that’s how it grows.
S. Where does he get the Reshimot, this new style of existence?
R. From what broke. The degree of Gadlut broke and now this level of Gadlut is starting to be resurrected: Ibur, Yenika and Mochin, all these steps are starting to rise, then the lights come to them and so they grow.

R. An embryo is three lines in Katnut. The force it has is only in order to exist.
S. Is its future to be a man or what is that?
R. Man, we can say that, or a soul.
18. S. (34:34) He writes here the first restriction returned and then the second restriction returned to its place. We are learning that what the upper one decides becomes a law to the lower one.

S. This question is how can the lower one cancel something that the upper degree decreed? Like when the world of Ein Sof made the first restriction, how can the lower one cancel it?
R. This is your question? How does the shattering occur if the law, the first restriction was set?
S. For example, yes.
R. Okay, I will tell you. They didn’t keep the law. They thought that they would keep this law and they didn’t, it was a mistake.
S. So the lower one deceives the system?
R. No one deceives the system, you act according to forces.
S. So what’s the reason that they returned the first restriction to its place and then the second restriction to its place? What’s the difference between the reasons?

S. The reason is the same for the first and second restrictions?
R. For the first restriction there was a reason. It wanted to receive in order to bestow everything it could. And the reason of the shattering, not the second restriction, the shattering, was because they thought they could go for in order to bestow under all the conditions of the second restriction and they saw they couldn’t.

R. The deficiency of the three lines comes out of the weakness of the lower one that cannot immediately place himself in Gadlut like Galgalta, AB, SAG and all the Partzufim that are above the Tabur.

R. Yes. That’s something else already. They cannot turn themselves around so the upper one will do whatever it wants with them and also they themselves cannot do with themselves what they want. This is why I hear there’s an additional action between them, more actions, Ibur, Yenika, Mochin until they reach the degree of embryo from the degree of Katnut and then from Katnut to Gadlut, and then they correct themselves.
S. Yes, he’s calling the lines left, right and middle. So the middle is an attainment from the lower one? Is that how we can relate to it?

S. Why is it not Malchut by itself?
R. Because it has three lines before it: Netzach, Yod and Yesod and it receives from them.
S. When you have the records, those are the records the level root?
R. The coupling of the records of the root level cannot exist because they don’t have the strength to hold the lights in order to bestow.
S. So they say that the degree of Malchut is not by itself but always joining?
R. Joining the upper one. Okay guys this is not simple material, it is not simple material. Until it settles down in your head and your heart, until you have some picture of what’s going on it takes time and this is in every course everywhere.

S. So who is the lower one and who is the upper one here?
R. The broken vessels are the lower one and the vessels from SAG are the upper one, when SAG grows and corrects Malchut.
S. We learn that the world of Atzilut corrects the world of Nekudim, now you say that SAG corrects Malchut. Is that the same?
R. The world of Atzilut corrects the world of Nekudim when these two worlds stand forcefully, one parallel to the other. Here we’re talking about Partzufim that don’t have a screen to begin with. The lower one has no screen to receive in order to bestow but rather the upper has to adapt itself to the lower one in any state that the lower one is capable of receiving from it, just like in our life. That’s how we see where this stems from in spirituality. Where are we?
R. Reading, ‘Hence, in the new MA that emerged from the Metzach of SAG, there are two phases of Katnut and Gadlut, too, as in the world of Nekudim. The Katnut emerges first, according to the coarseness disclosed in the screen, which is the level of ZA of clothing, Aleph of clothing called HGT..’ Because it is the first level of clothing, ‘..and the level of Malchut of coarseness, called NHY, due to the three lines made on the level of Malchut.’ So we have HGT and NHY from ZA and Malchut, Aleph and root, the first and the root. ‘The right line is called Netzach, the left line is called Hod, and the middle line is called Yesod.’
‘Yet, since there is only clothing in phase one, without coarseness, it has no vessels.’ It was only Aleph of clothing. ‘Thus, the level of HGT is devoid of vessels, and it clothes the vessels of NHY. This level is called embryo [Ubar], which means that there is only coarseness of the root there, which remained in the screen after its refinement, during its ascent for coupling at the Metzach of the upper one, (root coarseness, Metzach). The level that emerges there is only the level of Malchut. Yet, within there is a concealed bottom Hey, regarded as “the bottom Hey at the Metzach. Once the embryo receives the coupling in the upper one, it descends from there to its place (see Item 54), and receives the Mochin of suckling [Yenika] from the upper one, which are coarseness of phase one, considered “the bottom Hey in Nikvey Eynaim.” Thus, it acquires vessels for HGT, too, HGT expands from NHY and it has the level of Zeir Anpin.’ Meaning, that’s how you grow, that’s the first step of growth where from the degree of Malchut and ZA it came to the degree of Zeir Anpin. There was phase one of clothing, now it became phase one of coarseness. Here we have only two questions.
22. S. (48:15) What forces Katnut to move to Gadlut?
R. It’s when the Partzuf is about to be born wants realization of the records, it wants to realize the Reshimot.
S. What does it mean that the Kabbalist is in Katnut?
R. What does it matter, the Kabbalist or a world or a Partzuf or what? We’re talking about what it has, what records are acting now.
S. What does it mean that the Reshimot of Katnut is working on him?

R. The vessels want to receive in order to bestow, not for themselves, and when they are going for receiving in order to bestow, they discover that they are receiving in order to receive, that’s it. You taste something in your mouth and you think it’s going to be in order to bestow to the host and with this intention you receive this piece, and later you discover, as it’s in your mouth already, that you receive it in order to receive. And you’re trying not to receive in order to bestow as you thought before, that you can no longer do it, you are already in order to receive, that’s called the shattering.
S. You feel, I can feel it!
R. You feel it inside among your intentions, between your intentions that you want them to be in order to bestow and what your current intentions are, in order to receive. Twisting these intentions from in order to bestow to in order to receive, that the shattering; and later, you will feel that if you receive it will be only in order to receive, I ate and I shall eat more.
S. My question is, a person from the get-go is using the other for himself and he doesn’t notice it, and then with the help of the environment he understands it as an example, he is already in the process?
R. Yes.

S. And it’s because of what you said, that the lower one is in the upper one and there’s no separation?
