The Evil Eye
What is the “evil eye” in spirituality?
“Evil eye” is called the envy that comes from someone. It happens because we find ourselves in a network of forces, the desires between us. So whoever is envious of you, as if, is taking the force away from you. Instead of love, instead of connection, he gives you a negative force. If it is people from the outside, then no matter, there is nothing to do; the world is corrupted and thus we advance. But if it is a person from within, if from a friend, then you are guilty that you invited such a response from him. In doing so you hurt him and yourself. You invited the evil eye and he isn’t guilty because he is still not corrected.
