Reading item #98 “Now you can understand the Sefira of Daat, which was initiated in the world of Nekudim..”

1. S. (03:18) No it is not clear. Why Sefira of Daat and why is it even a Sefira, so what if ZON is not there, what turns it into Sefira?

R. Wait, wait, wait. Slowly, slowly, one by one. So what are you asking first?

S. When ZON raises MAN, what turns it into Sefira, why is that quality called Sefira?

R. Let’s say, a deficiency. Why do we call this action that is renewed, that we call it the Sefira of Daat? It is interesting, because we never learned, we never thought that some action by that formulates a new desire to such an extent that we call it a new Sefira.

Rav reading 98, again. (04:44) “Now you can understand the Sefira of Daat, which was initiated in the world of Nekudim.” It wasn’t there before, it only happens in the world of Nikudim.

Rav continues 98: “In all the Partzufim of AK, through Nekudim, there are only ten Sefirot KHB ZON. But from the world of Nekudim onward, there is also the Sefira of Daat, which we regard as KHBD ZON.

The thing is that it has already been explained that there was no ascent of MAN in the Partzufim of AK, but only the ascent of the screen to the Peh of the Rosh, in the world of SAG. Rav continues 98: “But you should know that the Sefira of Daat is drawn from the ascent of MAN of ZON to AVI,” meaning this is already in the world of Nikudim. Rav’s continue 98: “as it has been clarified that ZON, which ascended there for MAN to Hochma and Bina, remain there even after they depart from there to their place below, to provide subsistence and establishing to the coupling of AVI, face to face.” That it won’t stop. Meaning, between AVI, now there’s’ a connection, and this connection now doesn’t end. That’s it, doesn’t end.

What are you looking at me? You signed on a piece of paper that you’re married, that’s it; that stays, you can say you have a child now, it’s all written down, you can’t run away from that. Rav continues 98: “That’s called “the Sefira of Daat ” that it obligated ZON to connect them. “Hence, now HB have the Sefira of Daat, which sustains and positions them in a coupling of face to face. These are the ZON that ascended for MAN and remained there even after the departure of ZON to their place. Hence, from here on we call the ten Sefirot by the names KHBD ZON. But in the Partzufim of AK, prior to the world of Nekudim, before the raising of MAN, there was no Sefira of Daat there. You should also know that the Sefira of Daat is always called “five Hassadim and five Gevurot,” since the ZA that remains there is considered five Hassadim, and the Nukva that remained there is considered five Gevurot.”

2. S. (09:21) What causes the MAN of ZON that from here the process of the rising of ZON begins?

R. What causes this? Their deficiency to receive the light of Hochma.

S. And who awakens it in them?

R. The Reshimot, the records. Soon we’ll learn about it more.

3. S. (10:03) So what is so special now about this deficiency that remains there and later becomes a Sefira. What makes this unique that it becomes the Sefira of Daat?

R. When AVI can connect between them even though they are opposite phases; one is on Hassadim, [mercy] and one is on Hochma, [wisdom], and they can raise their mutual deficiency together and by that awaken the Keter, [crown].

S. Is this the first time that this happens?

R. Yes.

S. So actually this deficiency remains there as a kind of a transition that is answering the pair of ZON to connect there between AVI?

R. Yes, I’ll tell you it’s not written. I cannot say that it is written but there is a deficiency that comes from below, and then there is a deficiency that comes from above. The deficiency from below, is a deficiency that actually points to a new essence, a new life; and that is why we are so, we take it into so much consideration. That’s it.

4. S. (11.58) This system of a ten Sefirot, the Creator created towards the created being?

R. Correct.

S. How is it possible that the action on behalf of the lower one creates a Sefira?

R. There are many, how should I say this, secrets, secrets in the system, the upper system. These secrets gradually stimulate the created beings to discover them, the secrets.

I don’t really have words for this.

S. So this Sefira was always there but was not yet discovered?

R. It is obvious that everything is there in potential and you have to bring it out so that it will be activated more.

S. What does it mean that it says explicitly sometimes ten and not nine, ten and not eleven?

R. It’s not eleven. It’s like an additional deficiency that awakens in the created being in order for the created being to feel himself that he has a place, that he exists, that it was not there before. There was not a place there for desire on behalf of the lower one. There was no such thing as a lower one. It cascades from above yes but that it came from below? No, but now it does. We will find more words for this.

5. S. (14:12) It’s not clear how KHBD and ZON are ten Sefirot now and not eleven.

R. What?

S. There is an additional Sefira of Daat and it says KHBD ZON which is eleven Sefirot but it still says ten Sefirot.

R. It’s not that it came from above, it came from below.

6. S. (15:00) Daat was born from the raising of MAN of ZON, meaning the greatness. So how can it have permanency there? A Sefira that comes from a desire for greatness. What happens when it is in Katnut, how does it remain permanent when the system returns back to Katnut?

R. I don’t understand you.

S. He writes here that the Sefira of Daat is born from the raising of MAN of ZON. He also refers to item eighty nine where the ZON then became Gadlut.

R. Okay.

S. Now, how does the Sefira of Daat remain permanent if the world later on goes back into the state of Katnut, what right to exist do we have in the state of Katnut?

R. Meaning afterwards when it went back to Gadlut, what happens with the Katnut?

S. Where is the Sefira Daat in the state of Katnut in the world?

R. No, there is no Sefira Daat in the state of Katnut, it’s as if it doesn’t exist. It is swallowed in the greatness.

S. So it goes back to being KHB ZON?

R. Yes.

7. S. (17:12) He says that the ZON when they rise to AVI that is where it is called Sefira Daat. It is like another name of ZON that is not AVI.

R. Right.

S. So I want to ask: so all of the corrections are ZON rising to AVI from the final correction? So that is the essence of correction?

R. Yes, correct, it’s a new reality.

8. R. So here he’s answering all the questions that awakened. Ask and read it again, and you will see that it is there, please.

9. S. (20:09) He explains that the Sefira of Daat is a deficiency. When ZON rise to AVI it causes them to connect and through that deficiency then they lower back MAD as a response.

R. Yes.

S. Just like the friend asked about Gadlut and then Katnut, this deficiency doesn’t work constantly, does it? Like when you go back from Gadlut to Katnut, that deficiency doesn’t exist?

R. It does not work, I can’t say that it doesn’t exist.

S. That’s what I mean, how can you say that it doesn’t exist if it’s not acting?

R. It can’t implement itself.

S. So how does it exist?

R. Let’s say I feel hunger but I do not have a screen in order to get the fulfillment.

S. Then here, if I understand correctly, when ZON raises the deficiency there’s an immediate action, as soon as ZON raises or ZA raises his deficiency or his request to Bina it has to give it to him immediately, there’s no such thing that he does not give it to him?

R. Who is with us? Can someone answer this?

S. To answer the friend. The deficiency that adheres to the system will always push the system constantly forward towards additional bestowal. Therefore, it is a special deficiency of ZON. We don’t know how to explain it, technically, why it is like this, this and this deficiency is like that. He says that since it is there, it’s constantly pushing the system towards greatness and towards ongoing action.

R. Is that okay?

S. Your example of the hunger awakening the mother, if the mother constantly feels that the baby wants. There are states that she can give him and states that she can’t give him, but she wants to give him and she thinks of how she can give him?

R. Yes.

10. S. (23:10) Usually things go up and down in Pitcha but here they also remain in here and they also go back to their place. What is this phenomenon?

R. Because it is a deficiency, it’s not like it’s a sense of the sense, like a phenomenon that descends and ascends. Deficiencies ascend and descend. That is why they awaken all kinds of systems on the way.

11. S. (24:03) Maybe I’m wrong but it seems that from this new deficiency called Daat, so it seems like from this point onwards to do Katnut, meaning to bestow less, meaning it will be harder, it’s overcoming above the deficiency, It is more difficult, and to do Gadlut that’s the deficiency of Daat, it seems like it’s the opposite of what it was now? Is it something new, born in the state of Gadlut?

R. Yes, that’s good, that’s a good thought.

12. S. (25:11) It says here that there is the ZON that were below before they rose to Aba ve Ima. That there is this ZON that rose to Aba ve Ima, that’s Daat, then we say that the ZON went back to their place, so what does it mean that ZON remains?

R. They also ascended and also remained meaning they existed above and below.

S. After the ZON went down? What does it mean?

R. That the deficiency remains.

S. It acts?

R. The deficiency can work for sure. I come to you, I tell you something, I show you something, then I go and you remain with my deficiency. Afterwards, let’s say, you come to your friends that are next to you and you tell him about your deficiency and you show it and you go to someone else and someone else, where does it come from? It comes from Michael. What did he do to you? He showed me his new phone, and then he can’t sleep day and night. He has a passion for such a phone. I see that you were yearning for one.

S. But it’s the same system it’s..?

R. What system? There is a system that I have a phone and there is your system that you don’t have a phone and there you feel the lack.

S. ZON already came down, ZON goes back to their place?

R. Yes.

S. So what is that deficiency that remains there and who doesn’t influence?

R. Aba ve Ima.

S. To what purpose?

R. For ZON to be born.

S. It already came down there, it doesn’t mean that it was born?

R. It wasn’t born, it was there and it ascended and then ZON that is above needs to develop and awaken Aba ve Ima in order to be born out of them.

13. S. (28:17) I feel like everything we are reading, I’m sensing that is happening between us and there is a constant deficiency, and with MAN, and it just feels like the system is between us already?

R. Yes, all the deficiencies are between us and…

S. So there is a deficiency for a mirror congress that we had in the UK, and I am hearing that different raising MAN and there a lot of parts praying. But we raise our deficiency to have a Mirror Congress in the UK and it wasn’t hard and the people are asking how or why? Now I’m going to have to go to Germany. I’m happy to go to Germany but we have lots of people who want a mirror Congress but had..?

R. Look, I am not responsible for the conventions. I don’t decide where they are going to take place. You have to turn to the organizers of these conventions. Who is that?

S. That is not what I meant. I meant what I meant is our deficiency did not push our men to see  that we really wanted it, so I’m looking at the system. Was the woman’s deficiency strong enough for them to feel that we really wanted it and if so how should we pray?

R. I can’t teach you how to pray, that depends on the measure of your longing of your deficiency in your heart, and I guess that all of you don’t feel the deficiency in the heart to such a degree that it will burst out and ignite everybody, show everybody as much as you want to have a meeting in England.

S. Okay, we will use this Congress to kind of have, it is praying, also a gift for bestowal so that we can pray that we can really pray to change something, to change us in the UK anywhere else.

R. Okay, we had the Congress in England but it was many years ago, 2009, well it’s not that long ago. Yes, it was fourteen years.

S. That’s a long time, that’s a very long time.

R. That’s because you are far around the corner on the Earth and we need to go around in order to fly to you.

S. But we also fly to you all the time, we go around when we come to Israel.

R. We are the center of the world. Okay, what are we doing? We have to discuss it. I agree with you. I agree with you, also in England we have to do.
