Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 44, 1990. What Is an Optional War, in the work – 2?

1.Rav’s Introduction: What can I add? Let’s read the article first and try to enter into it with our hearts, with our mind, with feeling in the intellect a little and we will see, and we will see what Rabash is trying to tell us, what is our path.

Reading Article (00:18) “Rashi interprets, “if you go to war..”

2. S. (31:00) About escaping the campaign, this campaign, it is not only a single person it is our mutual campaign, the entire ten, so in this descent, how to be partners with the friend because there are instances where we have lost friends, we have lost friends. How can it not come at the expense of one person, do you understand? At what expense, what does it come?

R. I don’t understand what you mean by at the expense of one person?

S. That is how the ten is being tested as well, to what extent that our connection is strong and our friend receives a descent, it’s a descent of the entire ten? So how to be partners in this campaign and not to lose?

R. On the contrary, try to constantly strengthen the ten more and more every minute, every day and not when you feel or don’t feel.

S. And what does it mean to win this campaign?

R. Winning meaning we keep the ten, we watch over the ten and its purpose and the unity, the cohesion of all the friends and we want to reach the goal as quickly as possible together, so the goal will be revealed between us. Now because we are still not organized, arranged, so we don’t feel the goal, we don’t detect it, but as much as we try each day to close the gaps between us, to that extent, we are coming closer to the goal being revealed between us.

S. Friends will continue?

R. Okay.

3. S. (33:55) How to keep myself in such a way that I will be able to see the great King every day?

R. That, too, is through the friends, to have in the group constantly such a feeling that each day we have to discover the Creator anew. To come closer to Him, to try to react to Him with a new desire and a new deficiency. If this happens in our hearts, this goal to search for a greater Creator every day so He will be revealed to us; this is how we will advance.

4. S. (35:13) Meaning the necessity that we have to bestow to the Creator, that switch is that we can only bestow to Him when we are together, when all of us are connected, only then can we truly bestow to the Creator from one another to give Him contentment or otherwise it won’t work. When do we acquire this switch which is our necessity, which is what we need because the whole essence is only together we can reach the goal?

R. Yes, we need to connect as much as possible among ourselves until there is really no vacant place and discover through the connections between us the forms of the Creator and in this we need to constantly be under pressure to try.

S. Do we all the time on the path, in this campaign daily, we need to be sensitive about the connection between us?

R. Yes, all the time the connection between us first of all and then search within the connection for a new form of the Creator.

S. What does it mean to find, to look for a new form of the Creator?

R. The desire to bestow, the desire to bestow, that will be constantly changing in us; growing. That’s it.

5. S. (37:20) To discover the Creator anew, what is being renewed every day for a person, what does it mean to discover a new Creator daily?

R. A person lives through innovations, through new things, he can’t get exactly into the same feeling he had yesterday. We are in a system that is constantly changing and if I feel phenomena the same as yesterday, for me, it’s the same as being unable to do something I can’t receive, it’s like waste, like trash. This is why it says everyday it should be as new to you etc., that’s it. So let’s try to rebuild, to build a new system each day with a power and quantity and quality and out of this we will advance.

S. What does it mean to work because of the Creator’s greatness?

R. That this is what I am looking for, for the Creator to be greater and greater each day and from Him, I already begin to look and feel and direct myself toward all the other forms of reality.

S. And how to make the Creator great daily?

R. This is only through the environment. How can I? I can’t change in myself not a single element in me. Only by appreciating the society more, increasingly, within it I can discover more precise discernments, greater ones and this is how I advance.

S. To see the Creator anew each day also makes him great in my eyes, this novelty?

R. This is called seeing him as new, meaning greater in my eyes of course everything is towards me, yes.

6. S. (40:00) He writes there’s a point here, one where I see many people fall in that point he says and only those who walk and want to bestow to the Creator they get foreign thoughts. It’s a point where many times we fail in it, we fall in it and specifically when a person feels himself as bad, that his thoughts as Him, how to do it as you said and to come to the lesson? One says, oh it’s raining, what can I do? It’s raining, what else can I do if you come there and the other one says I’ll be home, so how to cross this threshold and understand that this thought is an opportunity, a point where you either fall or get up?

R. Again, if we don’t know what to do it’s a good thing and then we have nothing left but to search for a connection with the environment, a connection with the environment which can direct us, every single person. And therefore, we need to see in this, the directions from the Creator, how He directs us, turns us toward the goal, correctly. So precisely, when we don’t know and don’t understand, for us it is the clearest thing, now I have to annul before the environment and in this way I easily change my attitude, my mood; the Creator in my eyes, everything changes.

7. S. (42:35) He says that optional war is something you have to start over every day anew?

R. Yes.

S. So what’s the difference between someone who has experience in this and someone who doesn’t?

R. Someone who is experienced has a more accurate work, he is advancing in small steps that he does, and someone who doesn’t have experience, he does it as something simple as long as he has to remember that he has to do everything for the sake of the Creator.

S. But someone with experience feels it more powerfully?

R. Of course, of course.

S. So is there a way to compare between a person in or after the suffering?

R. The greater the person is, the greater his inclination, of course when a person is in a higher place and he is thrown away he feels it more powerfully.

S. So he feels himself more dependent upon the society?

R. Yes, of course, every time he is amazed at how specifically, he who understands and knows and feels he is dependent on the society.

8. S. (44:31) Everyday when we advance there is less and less strength, forces, and each day we  have to rebuild again the greatness of the goal, this sensation, and I don’t need the advancement itself it’s only for it to be able to do something for the friends and this prayer, do not leave me so I will be able to pull the friends. It’s like the donkey who pulls the friends every day, there’s this fear that maybe today I will have no energy to even ask the Creator to not let me go and let me pull them you keep advancing like on a razor, on the edge of a razor and you cannot see it’s the feeling that maybe I will have no energy to ask, I won’t have this thing that I received from the Creator from above to think of the friends what am I lacking here in this work?

R. What’s missing is faith in the Creator that There’s None Else Besides Him and that He is doing everything for you and without Him you cannot do anything but don’t forget about Him and then you are certain to reach all the solutions.

S. It’s clear that He’s giving the strength and He’s giving the desire to ask of Him but everything is about Him and you want nothing, you have no desire of your own because bestowal is the more you advance to bestowal, the more you understand that you don’t even want it, you want it only for the friends. There’s a point here where if the Creator doesn’t give, you will also be ejected. On the other hand you also have responsibility for the friends, how to be the simple donkey that carries and pulls and maybe even being happy about it?

R. These are good states, you have responsibility for the friends. These are good scrutinies everyone goes through them and we reach a solution. The important thing is not to quit. Afterwards we see that there’s none as wise as the experience and he sees why the Creator did this to him and that specifically in this way we can advance towards the truth. Keep going, keep going.

9. S. (47:57) I didn’t understand what is causing the person to get thoughts of lowliness. On the one hand it’s because he’s working in order to bestow and that’s why the body resists and None Else Besides Him gives him that. On the other hand, it says that he is being lazy in the work and that’s why he’s getting these states, so what is the true cause of these thoughts of lowliness?

R. From where the thoughts of lowliness come?

S. Yeah, he gives two reasons that seem opposite: either it’s a good work he’s doing and now the Creator is giving him the state so he can work in order to bestow and turn to Him or he is being negligent in the work?

R. So?

S. So those two are opposite causes?

R. But they cause a person to think, “how will I get additional strength?”

S. The result of these as I understand is their opposite, either a person views himself as weak and unworthy and he’s negligent because he has no strength or he needs to derive the opposite from it, tell himself the Creator is near me and there’s a sign that I’ve done good work?

R. Yes, it’s written this way, too, “in a place where the righteous walk, the wicked stumble and fall.”

S. If a person feels himself negligent too, there’s no work to do to get motivated if you did a good job and he sees that in all the books it’s written the Creator’s giving him an opportunity then he does have a source of motivation?

R. Yes.

S. So what’s correct?

R. The correct thing is to find the solution in both.

S. And what is the solution here and what is the solution there?

R. To try as much as possible to return to the Creator through the environment, because without the environment he has lost, he cannot connect himself to the Creator directly, only through the system.

S. Yeah, but that’s clear if he thought that he was rewarded with thoughts of lowliness then it’s possible that he has the strength and the energy to return to the environment but if he feels that he got these thoughts of lowliness because he grew negligent, he feels himself unworthy and he doesn’t have the strength to go back to the environment?

R. So what, how does that interrupt and what does that matter from which point he returns as long as he returns to a point where he is looking for how to grip to the Creator.

10. S. (51:13) In the paragraph, and we should know, it says, when a person begins to work in order to bestow and the body resists and the body lowers him to the lowest lowliness to these lowly lusts, he gets thoughts and desires he thought he’d never have, so what from here? What do we do from here?

R. Such a state where he descended into a state where he is..?

S. In lowly lusts, thoughts and desires he never contemplated, he never thought of before?

R. Yes.

S. And a person is surprised and he says, “who caused me these thoughts and desires?”

R. Yes.

S. So how does he come out of this lowliness?

R. Try through the environment to understand that it’s coming from the Creator just like everything else comes from the Creator and that in this way he can also advance, if it came from the Creator and he can get an even stronger grip on the Creator, don’t just fall into despair, but also from the other side, that this is the place to come out of this despair from the fall.

S. And then his thoughts and desires will change?

R. When a  person decides. He shouldn’t wait until whatever happens, happens, but a person should decide that he wants, through the connection with the Creator, even in such lowly states to start rising.

11. S. (53:20) To continue, you told the friend to keep going back to the Creator through the environment, and the article, Rabash also speaks of how the King is great, the greatness of the Creator and I don’t have the correct greatness of the Creator’s, only through the environment, right?

R. Yes.

S. Meaning annulling his own authority is something he does towards his friends?

R. Yes.

S. So is the correct indication for canceling his own authority is when he begins to feel the greatness of the Creator?

R. Yes.

S. So the society is both the instrument for change and also the dashboard, the indication where I see it?

R. The society is the system in which I establish and determine the greatness of the Creator, the greatness of the society, the forces that operate on us, everything is in the society, and I need to try to prepare such a system of relationships between us that I will always be able to use it.

S. He writes at the end of the article that specifically in the state of the Achoraim he can discern the Panim [face] so you can translate it in the simplest way, when I feel, don’t feel the taste of connection with the friends, that they’re not great in my eyes, specifically, when I go deeper into it, through the dust, I feel them as greater?

R. Yes, yes.

12. S. (55:23) Is it possible that they only reveal to a person gradually his dependence on the environment because they don’t want to show him how responsible he is for the environment because it’s a mutual dependency?

R. Yes, how can it be that it will be revealed to me, my connection with the environment, if this connection has still not been clarified according to my qualities. So of course, I need only to push and press and ask and be concerned with revealing my connection with the environment.

S. Connections are also responsibilities of a person toward his environment?

R. These are the same strings and ropes that tie me to the environment in all kinds of ways; mutual responsibility.

S. It’s like you don’t reveal to a child what you can’t reveal to him because if he would later, know later, he will be in a terrible state?

R. Yes.

13. S. (56:55) He writes that the Creator gives a person the second nature, so what determines that the Creator is giving a person the desire to bestow?

R. It’s just time, a person scrutinizes and clarifies things and then the Creator gives him this feeling.

S. What did he scrutinize, why specifically now is the time?

R. The Creator shows a person that he, the person, is in a state where I don’t know how to say it, again what exactly are you asking?

S. Throughout the article he’s saying that the first nature the Creator gave it to you which is the will to receive and also the second nature of the will to bestow, He gave you the will to bestow, so I’m asking on what does it depend? That the Creator will give a person the will to bestow or it doesn’t depend on Him at all, the Creator decides then He gives?

R. No, if this were so then we wouldn’t be receiving any method; we would be like animals.

S. So on what does it depend from the perspective of the person that the Creator will give him the desire to bestow?

R. The extent to which a person wants to join this process, where he grows from a desire to receive to a desire to bestow.

S. This change, where do you seemingly bring this change where I must have the will to bestow, with the first nature of the will to receive, there’s no question about it. You live out of it necessarily, it’s the need to bestow, where do you bring that from?

R. You bring it from the relationships between the friends, they teach us these relationships, that it is worthwhile to be in mutual bestowal.

S. The relationship with the friends: what’s in them, what’s in them?

R. That we can learn from them that the form of bestowal is that form which brings us to the goal.

S. And as far as we are concerned this is what obligates the Creator to give you the desire to bestow?

R. Yes, because we are beginning to demand it.

14. S. (01:00:10) We say that in the end, the most important thing is to connect, to increase the connection, that’s where the solution lies. At the end of the day, in the business, you open the register. You see how much money came in and you know if the business was worthwhile or not. How do we check in the ten whether we worked well in the connection or we didn’t?

R. Only according to the results, how else can you know?

S. What kind of results?

R. Did you achieve a desire to bestow or not?

S. Checking alone or together?

R. You check it in the system.

S. What system?

R. Are you in a system where you are bestowing upon it with all of your might for the time being.

S. So the test is individual ultimately?

R. Yes.

15. S. (01:01:35) The deficiency for connection with the friends or the form of connections with the friends: are those 613 counsels that will bring us to a heartfelt prayer?

R. Yes, what should change here?

S. Meaning only deficiencies for bestowal, we need to try to reveal these deficiencies for bestowal in our connections?

R. There’s nothing else, nothing else, what else would you recommend to do?

S. Why is it so hard to use it although it’s super clear?

R. It’s against our nature, I don’t see that there’s anything attractive, I have no deficiencies for it.

16. S. (01:02:47) It’s clear that from all the states that a person is tossed from the advice is to adhere to the environment and to get strength from it, and we also see that friends who hear this and they will grow stronger from the environment and the essence from a person who doesn’t hear this. What separates the two, what makes one hear the advice and what makes the other leave and not return?

R. We don’t know, that’s the root of the soul, that’s the way it is.

S. Let’s say I don’t want to accept it in the ten, what should we do to heed the advice and grow stronger the environment?

R. Try as much as you can but if he decides finally, let him go, you can’t chain him to a pole so he will sit here like a dog.

17. S. (01:04:00) As far as the Achoraim [posterior] is concerned, on one hand, it sounds like a really great gift that comes to a person who wants to work in bestowal, on the other hand, he says that if he’s negligent in working in order to bestow then he gets these foreign thoughts that awakens the yearning and longing, so is it punishment or a gift?

R. There are no punishments, there are only gifts; it depends on how we accept them.

S. Can there be a state where a person does not become lazy and negligent and he receives the discernment of Achoraim without being negligent?

R. In the beginning of the way this is how he’s awakened and stimulated and provoked.

S. The last sentence of the article, it says we see that in the Achoraim there is the discernment of the Panim, can you explain that?

R. It’s always like that because the actions of the Creator are always complete and come out of mercy, out of love, and therefore, even when it seems to us that it’s the opposite, that there are punishments etc.. We just don’t understand the essence of His relation towards us.

18. S. (01:05:47) We understand how the system of the correction of creation is working and it’s constantly concealed because we live in it in our regular life and at some point the system pressures a person and he’s trying to escape his troubles and he’s looking for something. And he gets to a place and he constantly keeps changing places until he comes to a decision that there is something above him that can give him contentment. I wish to cut from this cake, a big slice of it and feel good about it. Later I come to the group and I learn how to receive something at some point. I understand that instead of receiving from this cake, I wish to connect to it to participate with it?

R. Yes.

S. It’s the way a person operates, the system pressures him, that’s how he flows with it. Where is the war, where a person wages war against his state and he wants to accept the authority of the Creator?

R. You spoke beautifully so far, keep going.

S. How do we have that state where a person simply wages a war inside of him to such an extent that he wants to annul himself and he wants to accept the group as this place for Mitzvot [commandments] that the group is close to him?

R. Because he sees here that he cannot advance with his own strength, it’s over, now his engine works on a fuel that comes from the group and he has to annul before them and receive from them the strength, the power.

19. S. (01:08:15) He writes here that the measure of yearning and longing is really the Panim itself, the face. What does it mean and how to understand it?

R. Read it.

Reading…

S. What is the Panim of the Creator?

R. That he’s pulling him to it and a person feels it this way.

S. And that’s the revelation, the longing and the yearning?

R. Yes.

S. And is there something beyond that?

R. We will discover in the future.

S. So the yearning and the longing, that comes from the Creator as well?

R. Yes, there is no other source, the Creator is playing with us, He is in front of us and between us and the Creator there’s only a system that He created in advance, so that through the system we will be able to gradually adjust and adapt ourselves to Him.

S. But can we increase the yearning and the longing, is this in the hands of man, of a person?

R. A prayer, a prayer.

20. S. (01:09:50) The article starts with a person who enters this war of authority or the optional war because he’s not satisfied with the action, he wants the correct intention, he wants to be Good who does Good and at the end of the article we see that we come to a state of Achoraim [posterior] and a person needs to believe that the Creator is Good who does Good. The question is: can we understand from it that if you wish to be the Good who does Good, you have to believe that the Creator is the Good who does Good?

R. And what does it mean you have to believe?

S. It’s a condition?

R. How do I meet this condition?

S. It’s a question.

R. It’s not a question, I can’t, I need to really annul and receive, feel and taste.

S. But it’s not within my power to do it, to believe that I myself can reach faith. I need to ask for it and be incorporated in the ten?

R. Well, fine, okay.

S. So it’s really a condition?

R. Okay, I agree with you for now.

21. S. (01:11:20) He writes the beginning of the intention that what is not part of the intention, meaning the war of bestowal, this war is optional, how do we wage war in order to attain the correct intention all the time?

R. We try to be incorporated with each other and with the sources and in this way we begin to receive a new direction.

S. He writes that the work a person wants to put in, to have the desire to annul his desire, it is written that the person would die in the tent, that the Torah doesn’t exist unless a person puts himself to death, so how do we do it, the connection with the friends, the intention?

R. We put ourselves to death on the egoistic connection and we don’t want to be connected in this way.

S. How do I do it in practice?

R. Do it according to my words.

S. But I can’t, I work with the friends, I try to realize it and I say that I’m always stealing a little bit, I just wish to feel a little better. I wish to feel the Creator: I, I, I.

R. So in a place where you see you are in contradiction with the path, you stop yourself and pray.

S. Again, I pray for myself?

R. Yes, you pray for yourself that you want to understand this thing correctly.

22. S. (01:13:38) Why is it that a person who grows, the work grows and becomes more difficult accordingly, but he also enjoys accordingly and he’s happy accordingly, to give contentment to the Creator?

R. Because he solves his problems, in order to bestow.

S. What does it mean that the living God will grow and that anyone who brings a thing in His Name brings salvation to the world, redemption to the world?

R. I don’t know how to interpret that.. the living God will grow the living King, that we feel Him as a force that brings life to everything.

S. Is the HaVaYaH filled with Yudim, considered the first restriction?

R. We didn’t learn this in the article, we will learn it later.

23. S. (01:15:21) In the war for the sake of the Creator, for the authority of the Creator, by what do we wait for, what is our weapon?

R. Only through the connection between us, we have nothing else. Also, this war to begin with is from the need to connect towards one purpose against our separation. In short, only in our unity can we succeed in this war; in all wars.

S. You have thoughts and desires of one kind and then others that are influencing them?

R. You only have our group and our materials, combine those two together and you’ll see that everything works out.

S. What do we add through this distancing, this pushing, by those rejections we become close to the friends?

R. Yes, you get closer by getting closer to the friends you come closer to the Creator, you understand them more, you feel Him more the Creator is clarified through the connection with the friends.

S. The Creator rejects you through certain thoughts and he rejects you again and you connect again, how do we turn this process into an accumulated thing, so it isn’t just start-stop but it goes deeper?

R. Aspire to get to the Creator every time through the environment and then you will discover that He is constantly pulling you ahead.

24. S. (01:18:00) Our will to receive always fights for a reward but how can I win the battle to actually get pleasure? What am I missing for this kind of victory?

R. I don’t understand.

S. He’s asking this, he says the will to receive always fights for reward but when it wins, then this victory of the will to receive doesn’t bring him pleasure, so how can you win the fight of the will to receive, so that it is truly a victory that brings real pleasure to a person?

R. Again.

S. The will to receive fights for a reward but when the will to receive wins this fight it doesn’t give a person pleasure in truth, how is it possible to win with the will to receive that it really gives us true pleasure?

R. Only by connecting together, then from our connection together, we attain a different goal, a goal of connection. And not of each and everyone separately, it’s completely different, that’s the difference between corporeality and spirituality.

25. S. (01:20:20) What is our part or our responsibility in lacking faith? What do we need to do to advance even though we lack faith?

R. Faith is the force of bestowal which we get from Above, from the Creator, and in order to get this force we need to be in a tendency to connect between us and to be filled with the upper light.

26. S. (01:21:21) “Everyday will be as new in your eyes.” Does that depend on me, meaning it’s me who has to renew the efforts or it depends on the Creator, that He has to show me what He awaits for me everyday?

R. It depends on both, but a person should say that everything depends on me, “if not for me, who is for me?”

27. S. (01:22:00) Do we understand correctly, so it turns out that we can only be awarded with the will to bestow but our nature resists, it doesn’t let us have it constantly but each time we are pushed away from that state and we have a new demand by working with the environment?

R. Yes.

28. S. (01:22:48) When the Creator throws me to lowly thoughts which I feel as lowly, then it’s half a comfort I ask and immediately there is salvation but when my will to receive tries to enjoy that lowly state, how do you escape that?

R. You can’t run from it. You need to pray that the Creator will change my tendencies in a way that I will not want to enjoy the state, the egoistic state, but that I will change my goal.

29. S. (01:23:53) It says in the text, one should have faith that this concealment that one does not feel the King of the world, that this was made by the Creator called the correction of the Tzimtzum [restriction]. What does it mean the text continues..?

R. How does it go?

S. So the person has to have faith and labor greatly until it is felt in his organs, the Creator, that the Creator is the leader of the world and until it is expressed in two ways, what does that mean?

R. I don’t understand.

Reading “One should have faith..”

S. What does it mean? I feel something very special here. Can you explain this?

R. The Creator is hiding from a person and obligating a person to run after Him and chase Him and search for Him in this hide and seek, and man starts searching, the Creator prepares all kinds of signs for him, that a person will search and search and search but these searches come actually come in order to help a person rise and enrich him in feeling. And when a person has already done enough of those actions and exerted to such an extent so the Creator reveals Himself in some kind of way and then a person discovers the Creator and then again and again and in this way, step after step, time after time.

30. S. (01:27:18) In man’s nature, if he’s rejected time after time, then he doesn’t continue chasing the person, it’s not in his dignity, it’s not natural to the person to go for someone who gives him a feeling that he doesn’t want him, and also in terms of the purpose of creation it’s unclear why that happens. When we read about the goal of creation to give, to benefit the created beings, it’s unclear why the Creator needs to hide Himself or play this game?

R. You’re right, 100% and you’re even more right if it was in one nature, either the will to receive or the will to bestow, but since we need to go from the will to receive to the will to bestow, so it doesn’t work that way.

S. That, too, I feel it’s something that we need to keep strengthening, that it’s against our nature because in this rejection, the Creator activates towards us like he writes, it’s not that we will truly go away but it’s that we chase Him but I see friends are repelled by this feeling that you have to chase someone that always gives you a feeling He doesn’t want you, so how to overcome?

R. That doesn’t mean that the Creator doesn’t want us, you could say that, how should I say it, you can say that it’s like such a game or a flirt.

S. Yes but it’s unpleasant for the person.

R. What do you mean unpleasant?

S. It’s unpleasant for the person to be rejected in this way, there are people that if they’re not feel like it they go to a different place.

R. Usually on the living and animate degree if the male doesn’t show the female that he’s strong and ready and wanting her, so she won’t let him come close to her, you can see it in the animal world.

S. Right, but there’s also the behavior of the female that’s kind of indifference and then the person is also..?

R. That also happens.

S. So that form exists, that we fight against this flirt of the Creator and we fight by being indifferent that too, we have to get rid of and come out of every day, meaning our nature here is exactly opposite to what the Creator projects to us in this way, and I see that friends are naturally using their nature the way their nature works and we each time have to work the other way around and it’s exhausting and tiring for the person and it’s unnatural?

R. So you have complaints to the Creator.

S. No, I’m saying that we have to better understand, like what you explained, the oppositeness in this nature and to really internalize it deeply, so we won’t escape this kind of courtship, that we’ll see it as something that pushes us to advance?

R. That depends on society, as much as society will accept us.

S. What kind of example should we give to a friend or to the friends in general? How do we give such an example that we will influence a person to have it in his consciousness?

R. I think we give us efficient example because we are awakening, day after day, ourselves again and again to enter this chase after the Creator. He is the hiding Creator and we are trying to reveal Him.

31. S. (01:32:04) He writes that we need to impose the authority of the Creator over us instead of the will to receive, right?

R. Yes.

S. So it’s basically to the will to bestow and control to build two levels as it’s called the will to bestow above the will to receive?

R. Let’s say, yes.

S. And can we clarify what is the will to receive and the will to bestow more, if I feel the will to receive or I feel detached from it and only exist in the will to bestow?

R. That’s something you want to discover on your own.

32. S. (01:32:58) It says in the article, “It turns out that a person has to pray then for two things, one, on faith that the Creator will not hide Himself from him as it is said, don’t hide your face from me.” What is this prayer, this request for that the Creator will not hide Himself? Is that about revelation of the Creator or something else?

R. That’s about the revelation of the Creator but not that it will fill our vessels of reception but it will sustain or hold our vessels of bestowal, that’s what we’re asking for; to get from the Creator a force to bestow, that’s it.
