Part 1:

Baal HaSulam. Matan Torah [The Giving of the Torah]. #11

1. Rav’s Introduction: This is what I would say is the main topic. This is what tides between the created beings and the upper force, that they can connect with Him, discover Him, in connections with Him they can rise to the degree of the Creator and come out of this level of animate life and achieve the speaking degree and then belong to eternity and to the true nature, so Matan Torah is that the Creator is giving to the created being, forces, desires, knowledge of being above all matter, above nature, above this world and to bring them to the complete, eternal world. That’s what we see in the opportunity to use the Torah in order to reach the degree of adhesion with the Creator, this is a special gift the created beings received; essentially all of created beings but just gradually over a long time until our time it used to be only for unique individuals and as of late it has been open the up for everyone, still gradually but there’s no longer people that are forbidden from it or that it’s hidden from them, on the contrary, it can be publicised and talked about and can draw all people of the world to it, so Matan Torah, the giving of the Torah is no longer for just individuals but each and everyone can see himself invited to receive the special vessels so as to attain he Creator and to connect with the Creator, enter an eternal whole reality and that’s essentially has been opened up to everyone, still gradually based on the root of one’s soul.

Meaning the place at which he was in the first place in the structure of Adam HaRishon, but it’s all have been opened up for everyone and that’s very unique, this is a very special sign of our time and therefore everyone can go into it like Baal HaSulam says, weather black, white or yellow, doesn’t matter who or what, if a person feels from within that he belongs to it, that means that he is invited from above and so that’s how more and more people go into it gradually, it’s a process and in this process we also need to take upon ourselves role of explaining and making accessible and opening up the path for the entire world towards wholeness. Please if there are questions go ahead.

2. S. (06:04) You said that this is very special gift that the created beings received gradually over a long time?

R. Well we see that from the days of Abraham there were at first just individuals, unique individuals who received contact with the upper force, it was opened up to them and they discovered Him and wrote about it and taught others and that’s how it is for thousands of years.

S. The question is how to value this gift properly?
R. To appreciate this gift we don’t really know how, we don’t understand it, we can’t conceive of it because to appreciate it, it means to somehow compare between our existence in this world to the spiritual existence and for that we don’t yet have sufficient data to attain that; we can somehow describe this to ourselves but it’s all not truth. Bit by bit, as we learn and we begin to taste what is the next world, what is the upper force, the Creator, his goal, the process that we have to go through; so all these states we have to understand and carry them out on our own and then we’ll understand what is to be in adhesion with the Creator and rise into His degree.

3. S. (08:26) What is the meaning that the Torah is no longer for individuals but open for everyone?

R. For single individuals it means that the Creator is chooses out of all created beings the unique individuals who’ll be able to get closer to Him, that they will want to get closer to Him and have the strength to do that, that’s for unique individuals, that’s what happened in the early generations but afterwards we already know that the sages divided the whole process humanity goes through to periods and in accord with each and every period there were people who had taught other people and there are people who would be educators and those who can direct people and that’s how they would advance, so there are many periods, the first and the last and so forth; what’s interesting in terms of the difference between all the periods before us in our time, there is an essential difference, in our time everything is open to everyone, meaning the first stage that there was only apparent to unique individuals and then gradually become brother and brother until in our time it is permitted to all.

That did it already opened to everyone? that I cannot say, but it’s permitted to everyone, meaning each and everyone that wants to know what is this wisdom of Kabbalah, how to reach the revelation of the Creator, all of that is open and allowed and Baal HaSulam writes about it, and before him others also wrote, and so there’s giving of the Torah each and every day in each and every generation in different kinds of farms, brother and  closer to people and brother and brother public.

S. From the moment the Torah is allowed for each and every one, has the path for attaining the Torah has changed?

R. Yes of course that everybody can attain the Torah and everybody can see and accept the sources and there is no difference between people like Baal HaSulam writes, black, white or red or yellow they all can work in attainment of the Creator and it is open to everyone and we see that even before Baal HaSulam but especially from his time onwards the dissemination of Kabbalah gained strength and so we too are trying to do so, that we disseminate de wisdom of Kabbalah to everyone, to the whole world and we don’t make any calculation with regards to whom the person and where from and so forth, if he has a desire it’s open to him and he himself chooses how much he wants to get into this study, how much he wants to be drawn, whether it’s a man or woman or anyone.

S. The method by which those unique individuals have attained, is it the same method that our generation will attain the Torah?

R. Basically yes, however the problem is that the more evolved and advanced is the generation then this means we also have to open the wisdom of Kabbalah in a way that’s suitable for the generation, meaning that people will try and come and like Baal HaSulam writes in the masses and fill up the study benches, yes, there’s no prohibition towards anyone.

4. S. (14:38) It’s not clear before Baal HaSulam it wasn’t according to who had the desire?

R. The more the humanity evolves for many years overtime more and more souls reveal the matter of attaining their spiritual root, the essence of life and the goal of life and they grow further and further away from the merely corporeal life  and they are trying to understand the upper force that governs them and orchestrates everything, along with we see the science developing and people also go closer through it through science, meaning it’s a matter of how man has to attain the entire reality and its inner force.

S. What caused that, what is the reason that in our generation the wisdom of Kabbalah is open to everyone?

R. It’s the character of the generation, that’s what we learned, that each generation and his teachers meaning that in our time we’ve reached a state where our will to receive demands more meaningful answers about its existence, not just the forces of money, honor and knowledge, but it wants more, knowing what is living for what’s the secret of existence, who’s governing me and how can I govern my life, what happens before I was born and what happens after I die with my body, I want to know beyond, beyond the boundaries; so some people think that beyond the boundaries means that we’ll fly to some corporeal outer space, but others already recognised that understanding the essence of life, the root of life is that we will achieve the root of everything, the centre of nature and then we’ll understand what’s the reason for it all, why everything exist, why we exist, why and what is the purpose and the plan and the process; these things did not arise these questions did not arise in people, only in unique individuals in each and every generation and today they are awakening more and more in many people.

S. I heard yesterday at the meal you saying that a generation will come of students that will demand from us more than we can teach them?

R. Did not understand.

S. That students will come to study their wisdom of Kabbalah who’s demand will be more than what we can teach them?

R. Maybe, I wish that would go forward, it is always the case in development were every new generation asks deeper, bolder questions that previous generation didn’t feel and also didn’t feel the solution, did not attain the solution to all these questions, so that’s how we advance, yes.

S. Is this the correct form?

R. It’s the correct form just like in science even, we see that’s the same thing in science, we ask questions, we don’t have the answers to them but we research and learn and study and thus advance.

5. S. (19:50) What is the root of the soul and why does each have unique qualities through which the root comes into realisation?

R. The will to receive that was created by the Creator comprised of many parts and it was shattered and all the pieces became separate and each and everybody is drawn to reveal his root, this is called the root of the soul. This is basically our goal and work and the direction of our development. To discover the root of our soul meaning our source, who we are, where we come from and how to return to that source meaning to get to know it. This is our work. In the end of the corporeal development man begins to ask more and more about its spiritual root, one thing causes the other and so ultimately there are some people who still exist in a state where they care about only what about bothers their physical body and others are already drawn to know what it is all for and so on. Let’s hope that we will see thousands and thousands who want to discover the secret of life and we will be able to draw them, to attract them and explain it to them, to all of us what is the secret of life which is the revelation of the Creator as a central force of reality in our time and in our days and in our life.

6. S. (22:37) Why in the last generation there is no longer a matter of individual attainment but only attainment in a group?

R. The truth is that it was always the case besides what we could say about the very first generation; Abraham, Isaac and Jacob these are very fundamental pieces of the soul, components of the soul but later on there were connections between such people and the seven of Shemen… and until they begin to open centres and seminaries and unite around the sages, the teachers and then the whole thing began. The thing is that love thy friends as your self comes to us from Abraham and we cannot achieve something on our own we have to see before us something that is opposite to our egoistic nature and then in the effort to connect with them to attain them we thus advance.

7. S. (24:33) How do you see the path of development for the next generation? What will a student undergo not now but let’s say now he was born in a few year the point in the heart shall awaken also he will come physically and sit in the ten or he will be virtually.

R. Physically or virtually will not be so important because I think the means of communication will be such that there will be no difference between physical or virtual, there will be no difference, this is what I think. I think it will be even in our generation. We will get to such means and possibilities where this distinction will disappear between physical and virtual communication that we are going to be in contact in each and every place as if it was a physical connection. There is no problem to achieve that and through that we can speed up our spiritual development.

S. Do they have to work in a ten?

R. That is for certain that we have to work in the ten. And if you are going to review other means to be even more connected even more tied and bonded with each other and the technological development will assist us.

S. And they need to connect to the sources like it is in our study?

R. The sources are forever, I do not see that it is possible without the source materials of the Sages of the previous generations.

S. So do they need to receive the explanations of our teacher how to progress how to deal with?

R. Perhaps it will not be a matter of the physical teacher anymore that is standing or sitting next to them like that but they will seemingly sit together and seemingly discuss and understand that they are connecting to each other in the closest and most convenient way. This is how it’s going to be I am quite certain that all of the corporeal development will assist the inner development, one is dependent on the other.

S. The question is who is going to lead them, who is going to show them how to not confuse things, how to not lose the path?

R. Look they are going to need to get confused that has to happen in order to better understand in full depth and precision everything therefore I do not think that the their path will be so easy and not confusing, no they are going to have their own confusions and mistakes and through that they are going to develop and everything is adapted to the generation and the character of the generation.

S. But it is not going to be some spontaneous thing but there has to be some guidance?

R. Nothing is spontaneous. When a child is going to the first grade at school he thinks that now it is built and now it is created and everybody is just coming right now, everything is predetermined and pre-calculated and this is how it is with each and every generation.

S. So what will be there instruction and guidance beyond the sources and the work in the ten?

R. No I think that there will be something a lot more different than what we have now, we have you, also the tens and the study and this could happen through other means, that they do not have to drive or walk or get to a certain place and there to sit together and listen to a teacher. It can happen in a different way, it is possible that they will have a connection between them while they learn, that they would be able to connect and get closer to each other.

S. We have you as a teacher and guide and instructor who is clarifying things and it does not allow us to confuse things. What will they have?

R. There will be more and there will be many and there is no reason to be concerned about that. This is the concern for the Creator so don’t worry. When the generation is coming and together with it the teacher and the people who can teach and take care of them it is all determined from above.

8. S. (31:16) I wanted to ask to regards to what was asked now about the generation. I have a question, Rav Kook who was the friend of Baal HaSulam, he was writing that each generation has to learn the ways that influence the generation. Maybe we have to open our eyes to everything that is happening outside and not to be afraid of new things?

R. What is an example?

S. I heard that many work with AI, artificial intelligence.

R. So what?

S. I think we have an opportunity here.

R. What opportunity?

S. To learn how to influence the next generation.

R. I do not know about this. There might be a generation who will use all these things in order to disseminate the wisdom and to attract people to spiritual attainment. In the meantime I do not see clear results that through engaging with artificial intelligent people we are coming to attaining godliness.

S. We are not attracted to artificial intelligence we want to develop in new tools.

R. New vessels are in order to bestow meaning that we can discover our will to receive in a higher level of bestowal. How can artificial intelligence help with this I do not know. I do not think it has anything to do with the wisdom of Kabbalah.

S. Everybody is afraid to use it but I think that we should try at least.

R. So you think and others I think that but I do not see any interest, that we can have some connection between artificial intelligence and the wisdom of Kabbalah. The wisdom of Kabbalah has to bring or to unlock the inner vessels of the soul meaning the desire to make it in order to bestow and then through this new quality which is not artificial and it is not intelligence but rather  the quality of bestowal and love of others and that the person expands his vessel until he comes to the sensation of the Creator and his revelation.

S. Thank you.

R. I do not think we have an interest in all of these things even though I hear about them and I read about them and I see sometimes things about it but it is still not, there is a lot of falsehood in it. There are a lot of untrue things and those who develop are developing it based on their egoistic desires and this is why to begin with I am looking away from it and I am not getting in touch with it cannot be a means or a goal, there is nothing in relation to the wisdom of Kabbalah. It is a game that the human beings will go into and go out of like many other things that the media shows us and they are trying to draw attention to things but it is not that there is a future in it. The future is only in changing man himself and not all kinds of additions that you put onto the person. That I am certain about.

9. S. (36:20) You said that we are unraveling our root which will attract the next generation if specifically we reveal our root in Adam HaRishon. Can you explain in simple words to a person what does it mean to reveal our root?

R. The root of our soul is the will to receive that as much as we want to close it with the intention to bestow then we then develop it further and further and we discover in this match the Creator himself meaning that out of the corrections that the person person does over his will to receive he builds within himself the image of the Creator this is why it is called Adam, similar to the Creator even though his matter is opposite because it’s the will to receive but we want to shape this will to receive as if it is a will to bestow. That’s it.

10. S. (38:10) The Torah is revealed because the last generation is going through darker states? And how can we attract the light of the Torah into our vessels so that we can transition into the force of bestowal?

R. We have to move from the quality of reception to the quality of bestowal In our generation like Rabash and Baal HaSulam write to us, this is by groups and tens we very are learning the whole wisdom of Kabbalah that we receive from them this is the most certain thing for correction.

11. S. (39:26) In the beginning of the lesson you said that we are going to get into the centre of everything. Can you explain what does it mean to get into the centre of everything?

R. The central point of creation is the Creator what we are capable of revealing that is and that is what all the created beings are drawn to and this is how we understand the situation. So this is what we are going to get closer to and reach. This stands before us as the centre of the correction.

12. S. (40:24) We are studying the giving of the Torah, why is it so that we can come to the reception of the Torah without studying the actual Torah? What is the secret behind that?

R. The book of Torah is a book that is very closed, very hidden, concealed, it is locked. We can read it, there are many interpretations of the book of Torah and the Zohar is one of the interpretations of the Torah and there are many interpretations on the interpretations however we take the books of Baal HaSulam and Rabash and what they wrote to us and that is enough for us to get to know what is the secret of the Torah, what is the essence of the Torah and from this we advance. We cannot read the Torah in the way it is written meaning we could but to understand we cannot, we are not able. Everything is open before you, you can take a book in any language you want but you are will see how barely anything is clear in there which is why at first we have to learn that style of writing and the approach and how the sages wrote and why they expressed it in such a way what they attained in the Torah and we are going to get closer to it and we will study. For now you can read, nobody is stopping you.

S. Could it be a preparation for our study to be able to read the Torah eventually? Is that needed or are we studying enough of that, let’s say it is not needed to read the Torah itself?

R. We are going to understand the book of Torah from our attainment through our studies and then we are going to read the Torah in a way that it is going to be clear to us what stands behind the words, letters and sentences.

13. S. (43:53) How to feel the light of Torah in the ten as a gift?

R. How to feel the light of the Torah as a gift, come closer to it, desire it and see how difficult it is to attain and when you attain you feel that it is genuinely a gift, only in this way.

14. S. (45:03) What’s the reason that the Torah is the technology, the smartest technology that connects between emotion, mind, environment and the Creator?

R. Because it comes from the Creator for the person to feel and attain the entire world, the reality I mean, in which the he exist.

Let’s begin to study

Reading 11. “Now we have found the way to examine the purpose of Creation”…

15. R. (49:23) This is clear to us, that if we come out of our root, everything in the root is pleasant and everything that does not exist in the root or even opposite it is suffering that is clear, it is a condition of sorts, that we cannot say anything against it.

16. S. (49:55) This is clear but he writes here that only as we become equalize in our eyes, what does it mean, we determine if we are in equivalence of form or not?

R. How could we check?

S. I thought that if we achieve equivalence of form which is something the Creator gives us, then we’ll have a new ability to see reality that we can measure in new vessels?

R. Let’s say so.

S. So what does he mean with what he writes here that its opens it up to our eyes?

R. As much as its opens before our eyes we are not going to open up all the opportunities but as much as it opens lets see, this is all according to the law of equivalence of form.

S. And it doesn’t have to be beyond what we see above reason?

R. Where is it written here?

17. S. (51:13) Pleasure is a sign of correct connection or it’s the purpose of the connection?

R. Pleasure is a feeling, a sensation within the creature, created being in equivalence of form with the Creator, the real pleasure.

S. But for the created being, is it a sign that he connects correctly?

R. This is a correct sign or to the opposite, either way it’s giving him discernments.

S. So the purpose of connection to the Creator is what?

R. To give him contentment.

18. S. (52:08) I feel also continuing from yesterday’s lesson, he says that in the beginning that we basically can gain it for ourselves, what does it mean?

R. That what we attain in spirituality we will feel that this is what we have attained and that it belongs to us, in our vessels.

Reading 12. “These were the words of our sages when they asked”…

19. S. (57:46) Yesterday, when we had a meeting on Zoom we were in a piece of giving of the Torah Baal HaSulam explains there what is adhesion, that it’s indescribable here in our state because we don’t feel the taste of it and Baal HaSulam takes this godly state and tries to bring it even down to our state so we can feel the state of detachment and this whole article is as if he tries to give us a foothold in our recognition of evil and this state of self-benefit and to begin to come out of it and so we can’t know how a person had to step down from his degree to explain to all the world and to us here what is happening and I’m just communicating this impression; the question is, what is to be rewarded with the revelation of Torah?

R. To be rewarded with a revelation of the Torah it means to begin to see how the general law of reality encompasses everyone and orchestrates everyone, the still, vegetative, animate and speaking degrees in our world and also all the other degrees above our world, this means that you begin to discover the Torah.

S. With it, so this is first recognition of evil?

R. If it speaks of us then yes.

S. With it the desire of everyone to connect if there is no connection between those who recognize the evil then it is impossible to take this means and turn it to something that is really like the potion of death?

R. Yes, yes.

20. S. (01:11:43) He writes here, by the remedy of Torah and Commandments we advance towards Lishma, the remedy is the light that reforms?

R. Yes.

S. And in order to draw the light that reforms we have to aim in order to bestow contentment, is that sufficient to aim to bestow contentment or there needs to be something in addition to this intention?

R. What should be more?

S. Maybe some action?

R. No, the intention itself covers everything. If a person in his desires, in his heart wants to aim himself towards the Creator that is enough.

S. Understood, and should there be some action to reach the intention?

R. Yes, an intention without action is not enough.

21. S. (01:02:02) What’s the difference between studying Lo Lishma with no intention to reach for Her sake and studying Lo Lishma with the direction to reach Lishma?

R. The difference is in the goal, why is he studying?

S. I felt in the text that he writes wondrously about the process one has to go through but he says that by the engagement in Torah and commandments a person corrects himself but this concept of engaging in Torah and Commandments is very vague, what is engaging in Torah and commandments?

R. All you can do in order to come closer to others and connect with them to obtain the Creator.

S. Another question is studying not for Her sake still corrects the turbid body is that too a stage of correction?

R. Lo Lishma has many degrees. There are those who study Torah in order to hurt others, there are those who study in order to rise above others, meaning for one’s own sake, in all the possible spectrum.and there are those who study in order to change, to adapt oneself to the Torah, to the Creator. This is already our work.

S. So the intention to reach love of others and then love of the Creator that has to be from the beginning of a study even when we study in Lo Lishma?

R. Of course we start in Lo Lishma, we start even in things we don’t understand where they are and what is happening here and gradually throughout the study and the connection between us we begin to understand where we are entering.

S. But there has to be some goal that is determined from the very beginning of the study even when we start in Lo Lishma?

R. Yes, the goal needs to be clear as much as possible, as much as possible it is to explain to the beginner.

22. S. (01:04:50) Are there actions that draw more light?

R. Yes certainly.

S. Such as?

R. If you perform actions of bestowal to others, and you do it from the bottom of your heart, and truly for the benefit of others, for what it truly needs, those are much stronger actions.

S. So the more we become incorporated, the more power there is?

R. Yes, for sure.

23. S. (01:05:50) About what he writes to us, that a person is born without sparks of bestowal and then he goes into the environment and develops. So about that, the inner point a person has can receive life and volume begin to live only outside of itself, in the 10, I’m trying to find a more closer explanation about the connection between internality and externality, if possible?

R. I didn’t understand.

S. The innermost point the person has, starts to grow only outside of it, begins to absorb into it and grow, here there can be some closer explanation to this connection?

R. Connection between what and what?

S. The innermost part of the person.

R. That is the original will to receive.

S. With his part that is seemingly external, the ten, Bnei Baruch?

R. Yes.

S. So the whole life, the point receives its life from the environment.

R. Correct.

S. So is there a way to explain it beyond the emotion of it, this connection, this correlation?

R. As much as you are in the environment, you are inspired by it, influenced by it, and according to that, you are changing.

S. Why is it drawn towards outside of it, why?

R. Because you are in such an environment that influences you through envy, lust and honor, through all sorts of means, the society, the environment influences you.

S. But even if it goes out to the world, it also influences it, so why?

R. Yes, you are in a regular environment and you are connected to them and you want to be connected to them, so you pay attention, you focus your attention in order to be more and more connected to them, and receive from them.

S. So she receives her entire life, then what does she contribute to the environment, man’s inner point?

R. Whatever is demanded of it.

S. How can one know?

R. But it is a part of this environment.

24. S. (01:08:55) I heard you say for the benefit of the intention, the action is required. The question is, how do you know where is the boundary in terms of action, that we want to do too much or too little, how to know, how to relate correctly to the action?

R. I cannot explain it, you have to feel and sense it, how much the action can bring you closer to the goal.

25. S. (01:09:33) I wanted to ask about the influence of the environment and the ability of one to attain, the ability to be in bestowal depends on the environmental influence on the person?

R. Again?

S. The transition to bestowal from reception to bestow, is it the result of the influence of the environment?

R. Certainly.

S. What does the man do if it’s a result of the environment?

R. As much as he annuls before them, as much as he thinks of himself as a zero and them as one.

S. So the measure of surrender of the person that causes, what, how does the influence of the environment change?

R. You receive the influence from the environment, receive their values and accordingly direct himself in that direction.

S. It is understood but the environment, what do they give you, what do you receive from the environment that you cannot receive on your own?

R. First of all the values, the values, what is more or less important.

S. Okay, and the measure of accepting, embracing the values depends on your annulment towards the environment?

R. Yes.

S. Clear, so I’m trying to understand: if we take the person and build the environment around him that will give him all of the values but he won’t nullify before the environment, he will move from reception to bestowal?

R. Yes?

S. Understood, so there is such a thing that naturally people can achieve attainment, can attain bestowal?

R. We want to say yes, but what means do we have without the environment, it existed but it existed in previous generations, you have those who existed in special states.

S. The masses, yes?

R. The masses, yes, the masses will annul before the environment and will receive upon themselves, accept upon themselves, the laws of creation.

S. And the annulment will be they lack of ability to receive?

R. Yes.

S. So last question, why is there such difficulty in nullifying before the environment?

R. Our will to receive doesn’t want to annul, not only doesn’t want to annul, if it’s if it’s saw in its annulling, if it’s saw some profit, some benefit from it, but it doesn’t see any benefit. What is he told, ‘you need to annul before the society in order to serve them’,so what can be done?

S. But if it’s the influence of the environment then it’s supposed to influence whatever he wants it or not?

R. There needs to be the influence of the environment that is very strong, very wise, it doesn’t allow a person to run away and pressures him and aims him correctly.

S. But still he will have to annul in order for the transition to happen, annulment will be required.

R. To annul himself, he will have to regardless, it will never be according to his egoistic nature, according to the will to receive, no, rather only….

26. S. (01:14:01) To continue, the influence of the environment of people we’re connected to the sources, Kabbalists, how does it change their connection and their influence on each other?

R. People who are connected to the sources of the Kabbalists, how it affects what?

S. The influence of the environment on them.

R. Oh, the influence of the environment on them, how it influences them, it depends as much as they value those sources, they appreciate them, what the Kabbalists wrote, those internal ones, ones compared to external sources, what the external society influences on them, it all depends on the relation between them.

S. Is it possible to annul before each other without the forces, without power in the sources influencing those people?
R. Again?

S. Is it even possible to annul before the environment without getting the power from influence of the sources on that group?

R. Sources or environment?

S. The environment, let’s say the ten, it works in connection and it works on connection around sources, they read the sources.

R. Yes.

S. Is there possible to do work on annulment without the sources?

R. Could be that, yes it could be that, yes; the sources themselves that are written in some book they could be in a very easy, convincing way.

27. S. (01:16:16) In the beginning Baal HaSulam writes that “when we feel what is in the root we get pleasure from it”, he calls it ‘natural pleasure’, a real pleasure; and, then he continues that “a person who was born is on the other extreme from the root, he has no connection to it”. So the question is do we have no connection to the root when we are born?

R. I don’t know, I don’t know, you have to see what is written.

28. S. (01:17:01) In light of what Baal HaSulam writes here this whole part of the will to receive a oneself is very clear, there’s a structured process from the beginning, it’s revealed everything is known almost in advance, the person is born and everything is known throughout. In the spiritual process it’s a little different, there’s concealment, it’s not revealed, how do we build the system that will attract people if the system is always concealed, is it even possible?

R. Again, how to build the system?

S. How do we build a system that works in bestowal that should be very precise and refined so that the people will be attracted to it and see that there’s something here that is structured and revealed and not concealed?

R. No, it can’t be like that, it can never be like that because all in all people don’t see things that come out of their egoistic framework, and you want to show them structure or society that works according to the laws of bestowal, that is that can’t take place.

S. Right, and along the way we saw even in Bnei Baruch that people try, we tried to build a system of classes that would leave people according to their development but it is something that is hard to obtain, but a person needs a framework that is clear, so people need to have a place because everyone has a place here. So how do we do it so people come here and we’ll stay because many people come they have a point but they can’t remain according to their development?

R. Because you have to work on that point and strengthen it through egoistic forces that correct them; by that you can sustain the altruistic force, what can you do? On behalf of the force of the Creator there won’t be any annulment, the Creator won’t retreat from the His purpose, and He won’t change the laws of creation. We will need to attain the force of bestowal, connection, prayer, demand, and in this way we attain.

29. S. (01:20:19) Throughout this article I had observed Torah, Mitzvot and Lishma what should be my absolve: Torah, Mitzvot, Lishma. The article also said “walk Lishma”, what is meant by walk Lishma?

R. It means to do whatever is written in the Torah which is that it will be only for the benefit of the others, from a person outward towards his environment, whether close or more distant to everybody. As much as his influence will be broader, so that person is considered bigger and greater, that is called “Torah and Mitzvot, Lishma”.

30. S. (01:21:41) What does it mean for our correction to “slaughter the beast from the throat or from the back of the neck”?

R. According to the laws of keeping Kosher food that later on we’ll be able to use a beast, we need to slaughter it and not kill it, not kill it. There are a few weird laws on how to kill an animal to make it kosher, we are not speaking about kosher animals, we’re not speaking about rabbits or anything, but animals that are Kosher, let’s say a gazelle. So even though we don’t slaughter it because you can hardly catch it and slaughter it, but we can get it with a bow or arrow, and that is also called ‘that we do it in a kosher way’, but that is an exception, such deeds.

31. S. (01:23:30) The question is: the closer, the more efforts we make to come together with friends, the more resistance happens and it’s such a huge resistance that I make the efforts to benefit others, so all the pleasure my friends will receive but not me. This makes me hate my friends so how do I correct this force that is becoming, kind of more prominent; which force should I appeal to, is it I, Creator, Moses, to pull me out of this that is manifesting?

R. Only by connection with the friends you will be able to give forces of support from them, and connect to the whole environment, there is nothing else to do, and a prayer, pray to the Creator that is eventually what will help.

32. S. (01:25:15) I heard that when we pray for a friend, if there’s a friend…

R. It’s very hard to understand her, she needs to fix her internet connection, right now we can’t understand her.

33. S. (01:25:54) We read in the previous excerpt that a person enjoys only in qualities that are similar to his root, so my question is is it not opposite from what we learn until now, when we learned about increasing of the evil inclination that our pleasure is in the reception while the Creator is giving

R. So what?

S. So, do we enjoy the reception or suffer from reception?

R. We enjoy the reception.

33. S. (01:26:33) When we do things together like lessons, Gathering of Friends, meals, meetings in tens, these things are different from each other because the lesson is not like a workshop and a Gathering of Friends is not any better, so how do we prepare for each of them, I come with a certain to the lesson and different intention to the meal, or is it all the same?

R. It doesn’t matter, the main thing is that you yearn for connection.

S. For all our events, yes?

R. In all our events, they’re all made only for connection.

35. S. (01:28:07) The Torah was given to us along with the climbing of the mountain and the Torah is already written in our hearts, it’s in the roots, so why do we need to come to the mountain to receive it?

R. In order to reveal what is written in your heart, in the heart of each and everyone is the Torah, meaning the laws of the nature of bestowal, but we have to attain them, those qualities and to use them.

35. S. (01:29:00) We talked about the last generation the new generation, a student asked many questions about it, so the question is: what is the last generation within us?

R. Last generation within us, we don’t learn that, you can say that it’s towards the records, Reshimot, that come out, stage after stage, but the generation means that it’s still we’re talking about people with their records that now they are starting their correction.
