1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:38) Yes. We have already discussed that the introduction to the book of Zohar is taking the place of the whole book of Zohar as a kind of a summary, like a certain introduction that in a succinct manner is aiming to provide us with all of the content that is in the book of Zohar but in a concise and concrete manner. Rabash appreciated it greatly and even though we hardly studied it with the whole group of students but when we had to sit without the students during the Shiva, he chose this introduction to the book of Zohar and he said let’s study that and that it can replace the whole book of Zohar and we should relate to that like that as well, unlike in the study of TES, we don’t see some calculations here between the Partzufim and the NRNHY and KHB ZON and all of that. We are provided here with all of the structure of the worlds and the upper Partzufim and Sefirot and the interconnections between them and how much we depend on them and they depend on us. So, heaven and earth, let’s go
Reading # 151, twice: (03:08): “Rabbi Shimon opened and said,..”
2. R. (07:25) Meaning he wants to start explaining to us how GE and AHP are connecting so that we have a complete Partzuf, a complete system and the lights can pass on to the lower ones from GE to AHP. What is this part to get a complete structure? What is up to the lights, the upper force and what should the lower ones assist with so that GE and AHP connect together and the lights fill the AHP as they should in the final correction.
3. S. (08:20) A question about other gods: Why do we use this term other gods if the intention is to something that is not a god, so why is it called other gods? Are there other gods?
R. There are many forces and the system is built in a way that it needs to be in some balance. Where the good forces and the seemingly bad forces which the Creator also created and they are created with the same intention as what we call the good forces meaning to bring everyone towards unity, connection, the final correction and everyone in the final correction has an equal role with their unique qualities and the whole system becomes complete and perfect as it was to begin with. It only appears to us as shattered and as if it requires correction but that’s all with respect to the lower ones to show them how much they are in need of correction and are in a shattering and to the extent that they correct their attitude to the connection and the corruption and they begin to see that there is no corruption but rather everything is corrected and the corruption that existed was in them and not in the outer system. So by that they end up correcting themselves, correcting the world and achieving the final correction.
Therefore the system to begin with appears as very much shattered similarly to how we see this world which is at least a part of the greater system and what we need to do is not to rearrange the world because it all depends on us, we need to rearrange our attitude, our perspective, our observation on what’s happening in the world, in that outer system until we see it as a complete corrected ideal system where there is nothing more to correct besides man’s perception, our perception of reality on all of the reality around us and then we will see ourselves within the system of the Creator and that He fulfills the system and that we are with it in connection.
4. S. (11:25) At what moment can the ten come to justify the world?
R. To the extent that the ten tries to be corrected, to that extent they see the world as corrected because the world is a replica of our inner state, our internality and that’s why it works like that. To the extent that we correct ourselves, the connection between us, only between human beings and especially between those who received a connection to the wisdom of Kabbalah, to the extent that we can connect between us and detect all kinds of say bugs or breakups between us and we ask for corrections for that because none else besides Him, only He knows how to correct and we can only ask for these corrections as if a company the correction. So to the extent that we identify and ask Him to correct the breakups and He does it, thus we advance to more corrected states and we reach the final correction. That’s the whole state that we have to go through.
5. S. (13:25) What does it mean to connect between GE and AHP?
R. Galgalta Eynaim is the part of the vessel that is not broken, these are the vessels of Keter Hochma and GAR of Bina, mother. If we can extract them from all of the broken vessels and AHP are the broken Kelim, The vessels that are the will to receive which we need to correct by the GE. Typically, initially the situation was that the Creator created ten Sefirot, Keter, Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, Malchut and as they began to receive lights so in Keter, Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, the lights were able to spread regularly but from Hesed, Tifferet and below: Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malchut that’s where vessels of reception were already mixed.
That’s why there was a shattering there as we learned those who learn from the world of Nekudim that we have vessels that reside from the general Tabur, Tabur of Galgalta until the Parsa that is Keter, Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gvura, Tifferet and from the middle of Tifferet and below begin the vessels of reception. two-thirds of Tifferet and therefore the light can spread in the upper part of the structure and in the lower part it can’t and so what happened is that the desires to receive below the Parsa were connected with the desires to bestow above the Parsa and by that connection the upper light entered the desires that are below the Parsa and broke them, shattered them, came into them in order to receive and by that the entire structure was dismantled, shattered and so what we have to do now is corrections.
Bit by bit by raising the broken vessels from below the Parsa to above the Parsa, correct them there, fulfill them there and when we fulfill all of those corrected vessels above the Parsa then we will cause them to descend to their place and when they will be in their place they will be the final correction and then we will have complete ten Sefirot from Keter to Malchut and we will all be with the screens and the upper light will spread from the Creator to the very end of creation, from the Keter of Galgalta to the Malchut of the world of assiya and with that we will conclude our role, our work, that all the lights that the Creator wants to give to the created beings will enter and fill all of the vessels.
6. S. (18:12) How can we reach the sensation that we don’t have any finite image of the Creator no matter how we may see Him as good or bad in the ten?
R. We have to correct the relationship between us, break all the walls between us, connect our desires together in a way that each and every desire will assist the other desires and that we will become a single desire even though we don’t change by doing so. It’s like pieces in some machine and they are all working beautifully, reciprocally, only helping each other, assisting each other, that’s the state we need to achieve.
However, now the more we discover ourselves we discover ourselves to be interfering with each other, broken, that we can’t work together and from day to day we have all sorts of desires and thoughts that are preventing us, hindering our connection and yet we realize that there is no other choice that this is already the revelation of the shattering and it is an indication of our progress towards correction that we are detecting more and more of the sources of the disease which is our burning ago and despite that we continue and advance and even though there are many disturbances we don’t take them lightly, we are consistently revealing them and correcting them, that is by one shall help his friend.
To the extent that the negative bad qualities in each and every one of us, these qualities can stand opposite the bad qualities of the second and the third and the fourth and when we try to connect them in a way that is specifically through the evilness, through the shattering, they’ll help each other in asking the Creator to put together this special puzzle. Then we will see that it is possible that from all of the broken vessels in various directions and facets we can actually begin to build something that is good, something that is. That is good. Take a look at our world, look at how we are all scattered and in opposition, in conflict of interest, everyone wants to build themselves on someone else’s account and so forth. But as we begin to realize that the world can be good only on the condition that we re-group ourselves, that we put together the pieces, the broken pieces and begin to see how to bring them together from where to where to put them in the right direction. It’s like when we are putting together some toy that we need to group it together but we don’t yet know what part needs to be connected to another part. So if we try to connect that way then we suddenly see that between us there are very unique preparations designed by the Creator.
That everything could be 100 percent well and great only on the condition that we want it to be somewhat good for the other and then I suddenly see how I can connect with them and the second can be connected to the third in how they can connect for the other to be better off and so on and so forth and that’s how we begin to connect between us and that now needs to, must happen. We have reached a point where we can practically, practically begin to engage in putting together the pieces of this puzzle and it’s only on the condition that what I connect to someone else will be for his sake and the other one will do for the other sake and so on and so forth. Starting from little things, if we start putting that together we will begin to see how this system is erected and it begins to live and we will start feeling our spiritual life. All of this is in front of us and that’s what the Zohar is talking about.
7. S. (25:00) How can we sort out the Creator who created the Heaven and the Earth from other gods that bring about ruin?
R. We can’t get rid of other gods, other gods have been brought to us by the Creator shattering. He brought all of the bad forces to us. He set between us all of those evil sources so that we learn how to move between them and not touch them, not use them in the first stage, and in the second stage we even bring, put together those other gods, and they work together with the correct Elokim, God in the right way. Just like in each and everything we need two opposite things to work together like a wheel that turns, that going, by going backwards and forwards, like a piston that goes up and down, like in our body there are these opposite interactions in systems. That’s what the Creator created, this against that it is said. And we therefore we shouldn’t slight anything that we see but there will come a point in time where we can use it, and this is called ‘love covers all crimes.’ So, in the meantime we have to develop love, that’s what we have to do now. And then we will be able to ‘cover all the crimes’ with love. It will come.
8. S. (27:10) How should we come to a common request in the ten, specifically about correction, so that we won’t give up, that we will be in this demand all the way to the end?
R. If you want to be consistent, moving from here to the final correction and not veering off the path, you should first determine that you are studying everyday, that you are participating with us daily, and as much as you can, you want to go deeper into the material. Sometimes it seems to us that the material that we study is not that important or that we are not talking about the Sefirot and the world’s, but more about the matters of the human being, the spirit of the human being but that is what is closer to us and more pertinent to us.
We’re going by The Introduction of the Book of Zohar, which is in fact the introduction of the whole wisdom of Kabbalah. It is, let’s say, the first part, portion, in revealing Kabbalah to the world 2000 years ago. Therefore, simply be present in each and every lesson and don’t think that you already know, but in every lesson you get a portion of light that corrects us, that rearranges us, and connects us to some extent together. And that’s why it is very, very important for us to be in all of the lessons and in all of our participations.
9. S. (29:45) A person who lives here on this globe, on this planet and he now has an opportunity for the first time in his life to perform a free act, play, sit against the system. What would you recommend, where should he start?
R. He should start from agreeing with everything that is happening and not just going against something. But rather accepting all of the external pressures as something that comes to him from None Else Besides Him, they’re the upper force and he wants to be in a balance of forces with those he feels that are pressuring him. Most important is to achieve this feeling of balance and then keep going.
10. S. (31:10) You said that during the first state we have to abort these evil forces and the second state we can work with these evil forces, when can I determine when to avoid and when to work with them?
R. On the way there we will receive guidance, on the way we receive the guidance. And the more we can practically realize this guidance, the more we will understand in greater depth what the guidance is.
11. S. (32:02) You talk about envy, lust and honor but sometimes I feel it is anger towards me, towards the group and even towards the Creator. My question is: am I allowed from above to use my anger as fuel?
R. Yes, but in the opposite way that it is good that I have anger, that I have complaints, that I have all those things and with all of these negative attitudes I come to those people, the group that I have something against, and when I come with these complaints I, I already want to clarify, to scrutinize and then I can bring it to them and they can help me understand where I am and then I correct myself. Because I am certainly not right but I want to use all of this anger and complaints and so forth, to clarify my individual, personal state and correct myself to be more compatible, and more compatible to the Creator. That’s how we should use it.
12. S. (33:58) I was thinking about foreign gods, are they our uncorrected desires and thoughts?
R. Yes.
S. And that’s the only test we have to correct in order to reach the end of correction?
R. Yes, Elokim means forces, forces that appear to us and others because they don’t push us towards connection and bestowal but rather the opposite and as they do the opposite, they show us this is what they call ‘help made against us.’ They show us how we should actually redirect them, transform them and turn them to good. That’s our work.
13. S. (35:15) Can we say that MI is related to the lights and MA is related to the kelim?
R. Yes, to just some extent you can say that.
S. Meaning that MI is higher than MA but in the correction first we discover that the force of Hochma and later we receive the corrected vessels?
R. Yes.
14. S. (36:10) You explained a few minutes ago that the system is built in such a way that something can exist only on the condition that it brings good to the other. Now how to check that it is truly bringing good to the other. It doesn’t seem to me like that but it is actually good?
R. Only according to the ten we can test it. The test is only through the connection between everyone.
15. S. (36:53) You spoke about corruptions, now it’s possible in the ten that my friend is seeing a corruption, but I don’t see it. How do we detect correctly the corruptions between us?
R. That’s work and this work is not simple and it’s lengthy. We have to reach a state where we are gradually getting closer to each other in order to reach the goal. Meaning we clarify the goal to us. It seems to us, let’s say, as a dot and so instead of just a dot, we want to see some space, some area where we are there and we are included in it and then more and more. Meaning me and him are building a common space and becoming included in that space more and more and that means that we are working correctly between us.
S. But the request for correction, you give an example of a little child that doesn’t let go until he gets what he wants. It’s possible that the Creator is answering but it doesn’t meet what we asked for. How do we know when to stop?
R. If we work together and turn to the Creator and the Creator does it and also explains to us what He does, all of those things become the work of the Creator and not our work. Our work is only the request and the Creator’s work is that He does it.
16. S. (38:50) You said that we should break all the walls between us, the barriers and when we read “Lock and Key”, you said that the Creator has great pleasure from breaking those walls. The question is: Are the walls between us the same locks that we need to break?
R. Yes, that is exactly that, there’s no other obstacles. There are no more obstacles that we go above all the locks and walls between us in connecting ourselves. Meaning there’s different types of work but it’s all towards connection.
S. You said about developing the love and by that too, to cover all the sins with love.
R. Who is talking in the background there?
17. S. (40:45) What does it mean exactly to build a common space between us?
R. This common space or common area between us is that we are all agreeing to the correction and that we are connecting and we are all doing a single job, a single work.
S. All the bad qualities that I see in the friends are only there to help us, so everything that I see with friends is in me and I’m asking for correction in this?
R. Yes.
18. S. (41:30) The Parsa of SAG descended below the Tabur of AK, got mixed with NHY of GA and this was the shattering. The question is: what is the correction?
R. The correction is that we take them again out of the shattering and raise them above the Parsa and establish from them the complete world of Atzilut.
19. S. (42:00) You said at the beginning of the lesson that I heard that we are now at a stage where we can connect completely disparate pieces and bring them together. And when you speak about it there was a great excitement inside and the readiness 100% from everyone. How can we glue and affect one another with this excitement so we don’t stop midway?
R. This is something you yourselves need to come up with. How can you approach each other and bring them somehow close to your common work, to your common correction. Smile to each other, respect each other, then do something pleasant to the others and thus, bit-by-bit you achieve mutual work. What can you do, these are some corporeal, simple exercises that should help you.

20. R. (53:05) Even though they do not have the light of Hochma, they do not lack it, and they can carry out their role fully.

21. R. (56:45) We always have a certain issue because we do not know where Bina belongs to. On the one hand it has a part of Keter, part of Hochma, part of herself, of Bina, and also part of ZA to which it gives in order to build the Malchut. Therefore, we have a Bina connection between the upper, all the upper Sefirot and the Sefirot below her, and that is how she works and we have to learn further about her role.
22. S. (57:45) Is the translation of the holy tongue our intent to pray for the connections between us?
R. Targum belongs to connection, that is what I can say.
23. S. (58:10) This separation, differentiation between the holy angels that do not understand the language, in this way we, by the language of Aramaic the reverse language, is that planned so that they will not interfere with man’s free choice?
R. Yes, you can assume so.
24. S. (59:17) What does it mean that angels only have the GAR of Hassadim?
R. Part of creation has the ability to use only the light of Hassadim and out of those there are those that are GAR of Hassadim, such forces that can appear and there are those that are found only in the ZAT of Hassadim and other forces, different modes; there are many modes for these angels.
25. S. (01:00:10) What exactly is this force of the angels that envy man?
R. On the one hand they’re Malchut and on the other hand they are tied to Bina so they have this envy for people that can use forces above the forces of Malchut.
26. S. (01:00:38) According to the excerpts I always thought that the language of Holiness is the language of love, and here it does not say anything about love, am i wrong?
R. No, you should keep going, you are on the right path. You are on the right path.
27. S. (01:01:08) Can you explain what the Holy Angels are?
R. Angel is from the word Malchut, and the difference between an angel and human is that the angel does not have a free choice, there is no free choice. Let’s say you have at work someone who a scientist and engineer someone who works with his intellect with his knowledge and experience and then he is caring up a work according to what he thinks by himself; and they’re those that do not have it, they only carry out the work they are given even though they have a desire they should not leave out of the boundaries of their assignment that they were given.
So an angel is an executive force, it has no free choice, it simply carries out everything. But because it is in a spiritual structure it has envy, lust and honor all kinds of phenomena that it radiates back to the source that influences it. And, from that we get all kinds of different interesting phenomena from the angels. Also in us there are those angels who wish to carry out all kinds of actions and a jump and they want to do positive things, negative, but we typically do not use them, we will talk about it.
28. S. (01:03:46) This part that he wrote about the angels that they only have VAK and they don’t know MA, do they have VAK out of choice or it’s their nature?
R. No. it is the result of the general structure.
29. S. (01:04:15) Is the fulcrum the Parsa, and how do we use the forces that present themselves to get over the Parsa?
R. We need to perform certain actions that will raise us above the Parsa; first of all it is to connect to all kinds of upper tasks, to annul to them, to connect to them. Then we will be able to ascend and partake in the upper tasks, assignments, and in this way we will go above the Parsa. These are scrutinies which vessels are of reception which are for bestowal that we need to keep with us, which we use and which we do not use. These are not simple things, we will gradually scrutinize them.
30. S. (01:05:50) You said before that the Creator pressures the person in different ways, through the work, through his spouse and you said that we need to reach some balance of forces, some balance with those pressures. How do you do that?
R. It is not so clear, but try to combine all the pressures or the influences on you try to bring them to a certain summary; what are they all pushing you towards in total? where do they aim you? And you will see that ultimately it is the Creator that through all of these opportunities He is trying to get something out of you. Try to scrutinize what is he expecting from you, where is he pushing you to?
S. And specifically with these pressuring forces is there some recommendation how to cope with them?
R. Yes, just don’t look at them, look at the Creator; He is the one who activates them. They have no personality of their own even though they seem like humans, bodies of humans, masses of humans. No. The main thing is that the Creator is sending them to him and for what reason?
S. And to connect with Him.
R. of course that usually it is like that; it could be directly or indirectly.
31. S. (01:08:26) It says in the text that the language of translation somehow protects us from the envy of the angels so what is the language of translation?
R. For the time being it is not for us but soon we will be at such a level that we will be able to rise to the degree of the Angels. Angels, those that can carry out directly the desires of the Creator, will also soon be there as well. Soon.
32. S. (01:09:24) It seems that the angels were not sent by the Creator but by man, when he raises MAN correctly he then creates the Creator correctly that descends from Hochma, so who sends them the men or the Creator?
R. The Creator sends the angels to men and men send the angels back to the Creator, that is how it is.
33. S. (01:10:08) Is the bouncing of the scales that he writes about here, is it the measurement of our qualities?
R. Yes, you can say that. You can say that, that is correct.
34. S. (01:10:44) Keeping the covenant that we are talking about a lot, is it sufficient for that to keep the name ELEH without MI?
R. It is enough, but it is not simple because you are dealing here with vessels of reception.
35. S. (01:11:18) I feel committed to do the work as if I have no choice here, how should I understand the state of the angels? Am I also an angel in that regard because I do not want to be?
R. An angel is a spiritual structure that lacks free choice. It lacks free choice, it carries out the orders or the commands of the Creator or of a person, a human, and the angels are in the middle between the Creator and the humans. So, to be an angel is not such a great honor, when they say something about someone that he’s a true angel. Angel means he functions without any decision of his own, that is an angel, that is what we call an angel. So, when we say that we wish to be the Creator’s Angels it means that we want all of our evil inclination that gives us the free choice, the thing that makes us human, without the evil inclination we would remain completely part of the Creator; so we wish to reach a state that with all of our discernments, we will be as angels. In other words our evil inclination in its entirety will agree and will do out of his own free choice all the correct actions; meaning that all the bad actions turn them into good.
36. S. (01:13:31) When the Creator pressures a person and burdens him than a person feels that this could be his burial place and the person on his part raises a prayer as strongly as he can how can he direct his actions to something that is more correct when he has no idea what is more correct?
R. He is performing in action according to how difficult it is for his will to receive, there is a rule the choice is a choice in exertion or you do not want to do it there you should do it out of all of your available options that it will be enough then it will be correct.
37. S. (01:14:41) The question about the whole Ten we try to gather physically as much as possible last Sunday, we gathered of course that we studied the book of Zohar together and the question is we feel a great connection and growth in the heart and in the mind. Could you say how we should advance to have the least the sense so we can given ability to all of Bnei Baruch to connect?
R. It is a very general question I do not know how to answer it, we are all in that motion together. We need to try and be as close as possible to one another, to talk although there are those who perhaps speak less but in that way they participate more. Actually I do not know what to tell you, everything depends on recognition and the understanding, on the feeling of how much I depend on the other. I have no future in the next moment if before, I reach that future I do not if I do not connect with a friend before that future. I have to connect with a friend first and then I can make it.
It is like we have a board game and we need to move our pieces for one state to another, to another and if I wish to reach, if I want to move to another square on the way to the goal, I have to connect with someone and to get to the next square. I need to connect with another one and then another one I have to be connected somehow with the friends with one friend with several friends together, so on and so forth. Meaning that’s how I measure my advancement when we look at the purpose of creation where we wish to reach we do not tie it with the connection between us and that is our problem.
That is the problem. We change we make the goal into the means we have to understand the connection with each and every friend internally is the way to advance towards the goal, we simply need to mark, a V like a check mark I’ve done this and I’ve done this and I’ve done this and with this friend and with this friend. This way when I feel that I I’m going over these connections only then can I truly say that I am reaching the end and at the end of the day you should look back and summarize did I connect with a few friends and I’m hoping that with them I will be able to advance to a complete connection with everyone, That is the problem.
S. We first hold it in our thoughts and then it goes to the heart how does it happen exactly because the understanding the attainment the feeling really develop and it feels different lately?
R. Yes, this is how it should be. I feel this it based on what you’re saying because what you’re saying it comes back to me.
38. S. (01:19:50) You mentioned about the importance of making a connection with every single friend but why is the distribution of love towards the friend is so disproportionate? I do not dislike some of my friends I like every one of my friend but some friends are less likable while the others are like more loved by me how can I cure this and love every friend equally in the way to Arava Congress?
R. It is possible that you cannot do it now in the Arava convention it will be easier for your to do because there they are going to be hundred people like you like yourself and then you will be more involved through the forces that are by your side and therefore I think you don’t have to worry about that right now main thing is to advance with your Ten in any way that you can and soon when you come to the Arava, it will work on you differently. It will work differently on you.
39. S. (01:21:27) We are also preparing for the Arava Congress there is a great hope for a great connection strong connection. We know how important it is to connect but the evil inclination is disturbing us, we can say that the evil information is our habits. Can we say that our bad habits are the evil inclination and can we correct those bad habits? Let’s say if a person smokes a cigarette and then he quits, so what would you recommend? can we correct our habits?
R. These are not habits these are not habits, we are talking about relations between friends towards the friends meaning what there is in you towards your friends the negative relation those you should turn into positive those are the habits that you need to change.
S. That I can do.
R. Do it, do it.
40. S. (01:23:06) I heard that you said in the lesson that we have to reach from state of doing spiritual actions but what is a spiritual action? How do we implement it?
R. Spiritual action is one that brings me closer to a friend more that is called a spiritual action. All the rest are corporeal actions.
41. S. (01:24:02) You said that we need to connect to the friends in the Ten everyday internally and then put a check mark on the connection. Could you explain, what it means to connect internally and when can we put that check mark that we have done it?
R. I can’t, for that I need to be instead of you, you need to understand. What it means to connect internally more with the friends and to check it off, that is only on you.
42. S. (01:24:43) We heard in the lesson that soon we will uplift to the degree of angels we also heard that being an angel is not such an important thing because there’s no freedom of choice so is that like an intermediate state in our path and do we off to be angel?
R. No you don’t need to yearn to be angels we need to yearn to be humans Adam, Adam is one who has freedom of choice and Angel has no freedom of choice. An angel is given an mission which he executes.
S. So why do we reach a degree of angles that’s what I heard that we would reach such a degree?
R. If we receive guidance to engage only in actions of bestowal and we do these actions we will be considered angels then we can rise even higher. We’ll have freedom of choice and from that freedom of choice we do those actions, that’s the degree of Adam.
S. Meaning we will need to go through that degree?
R. Yes.
43. S. (01:26:21) How does it happen that when I begin to make efforts to improve relationship with the friend that he returns this efforts that he reciprocates it?
R. Try and come from the other side, try to come to it from another way that you need to continue making efforts in order to connect to the friend.
S. And the effort sometimes it is altered slow down by my stony heart what actions can I do when I’m in the Stony heart?
R. Try and take another friend that is together with you and try to do this work together.

R. It is in plural and not singular because the Creator activates upon us all kinds of influences on us from all kinds of manners that is why we say other Gods, many Gods and other forces and different forces and etc this is one answer, The second one what does he want?
Reader: How we incorporate in that state in order to incorporate with the whole state with the Creator?
R. We try and agree with all of his actions and we want to be suited to them but we are not capable, there are many very different manners and we’re unable to be like him. Usually we need to go to specific relationships and in them to try and integrate with the actions of the Creator.
46. S. (01:32:52) When I think of the friends and I imagining how I am talking to them and the Creator comes in there with the prayer how do I turn the state from potential to practical?
R. In potential means you are not speaking to them it only in your imagination right?
S. Yes.
R. So how to make this transition from potential to practice you need to try and create such conditions external conditions.
S. So in practice it is the actual picking up the phone call in asking how he’s doing and read the except together that’s practical?

R. I cannot explain to you what internality is if you do not feel it. You have a screen which is quite powerful between internality and externality. You can speak of everything that is happening in the world and also what happens in your families, these are all external matters even if it takes place in your family but it is all considered an external matter because you’re speaking about what is happening to everyone. But the internal matters you do not speak, I’m not saying that you should, but if there’s such an inclination you have to differentiate between this and those.
S. So what can we do with that screen because it feels that there is a wall?
R. This wall is not felt between externality and internality but between externality and externality; that there is externality which is in every place the same as in the newspaper and there is externality that happens in each family that there is nothing internal, personal, intimate that we don’t speak about but neither of these things are related to the wisdom of Kabbalah.
S. But how do we penetrate enter that area that is more internal?
R. That already depends on your hearts, on your hearts to the extent that you want to open it up towards the Creator; that the Creator will fulfill the heart, that we will feel in the heart, Him, what does He want from us? R. The Creator wants us to appreciate the internal life more than the external life. That first and foremost we will have a connection between us to the Creator and all the rest will be as temporary. If we try to aim ourselves at that we will already have a great profit, we will see where we are advancing to; and if we will not be able to arrange ourselves this way then we will see how we are becoming distant and are returning to actions of this world, between shopping and work, having a little fun and that is it.
S. So to disregard our external life more?
R. No, no. The method is to raise the importance of spirituality higher; and not to lower the importance of corporeality below. Otherwise, it will not lead to an ascent. That spiritual importance needs to be above all of corporeality. That corporeality is pressuring me; I want to do this and change that with the families or work and all kinds of things, and above that I look at spirituality; to what extent it can benefit or spoil my spirituality.
S. During the lesson most of us feel how important spirituality is more than corporality. Then we wake up after a few hours in the morning and then again corporeality takes over us, all of these desires just devour us, so how can we start increasing spirituality there?
R. I leave spirituality in its place, high above everything, and the corporeality I put under that umbrella; under that umbrella and then you will see how it all fits, it suddenly all fits. A person just needs to agree that this is what needs to be for him the spiritual and corporal tendencies.
S. What do we corporeality for, why does it affect spirituality?
R. Otherwise you will not be able to raise spiritually above our heads.
