Zohar for All. “Introduction of The Book of Zohar”. “Who Created These of Elijah”
1. Rav’s Introduction (00:25): Yes, we can already see that the book of Zohar and probably all of the writings of Kabbalah are dealing with the connection of the upper light, the infinite light and this endless light in our world and how the upper light descends and is distributed and it concatenates through many degrees until it reaches our world, our state and then we can grasp it and thus discover it and that is really what it is about, that is the whole wisdom of Kabbalah, how to receive the upper light that the Creator sends to us and we have to be ready, compatible to receive it according to the law of equivalence of form.
So we have to learn how we equalize with this light and we have to see how this light descends and moves towards us. That’s basically where we are. There are degrees to list, discernments, what exists between us and the Creator, how many degrees of lights exist between us and thus, advance and get closer and closer to revealing the Creator, the higher and higher degrees. Our goal is to reach the upper most level which is referred to as our correction, or the light of Ein Sof which means that according to our Kelim we will no longer have any degrees or discernments rather we will find one light filling up all of reality. Let’s read what is written and try to somehow grasp it, go ahead.
Reading excerpt 11. (03:08): “Rabbi Shimon said, Elazar my son, cease talking..”
2. S. (07:25) We are talking about raising man. Here it says that we can even do it in the morning prayers during the week, what does it mean during the week here, does it talk about an inner phase while saying during the week?
R. Rasing man, deficiency, towards the Creator that we want to advance towards him we want him to come closer to us, asking for corrections that can happen any time there is no limitation on that, that is the answer. Each and every moment that the created beings have a deficiency that they feel that they want to advance towards the Creator then they can raise that MAN and expect an answer for it.
3. S. (08:37) What is it that ZA is HAVAYAH and Nukva is HAVAYAH?
R. The Creator being HAVAYAH that is clear to us. This is the influence from above, that is what we need to discover, that is why it is called BOREH, BO, Reeh, come and see, because we are about to discover it. However the Nukva is Malchut in which there is a revelation of the light that comes from the Creator and clothes in HAVAYAH and to that extent we are bonded with the Creator.

4. R. (10:22) Meaning something greater becomes revealed gradually where Aliyjah refers to a unique higher force that comes and reveals to him how the action of the Creator needs to appear to the person gradually. The human being just needs to expect that to happen. This is called that, when I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers. We will clarify that more later on.
Reading 13 (11:15): “There was a hidden thing before the Creator…”
5. R. (13:46) So we have light that spreads in one line and then it becomes revealed by the other line and that’s how it extends from above. This is called male and female. Through the male the light spreads and the Nukva is the same force that can extract the light from the male and reveal it. The wisdom of 32 paths are all those routes from which the light spreads from above, from the Rosh of all the other Roshim this is called Atik Kadisha and all the way to the lower ones to the Nukva of all the levels. That’s how it happens, we will learn more of that. We shouldn’t load it with more and more terms this explanation for now.

6. R. (20:10) So how do we perceive the wisdom at all? Even in our world all the way to the upper wisdom.

7. S. (27:42) I want to know if Bina is the thought?
R. Yes, Bina is the thought; Keter and Hochma are above, they come from above and Bina is already awakened from Below. There is already a participation in her in the upper one and the lower one and that is why we already referred to it as I thought and that it belongs to the created being.
8. S. (10:28) In the passage it reads it was said, in it he formed all the images and carved all the engravings, the word he is lower case indicating that it is not the Creator so if it is not the creator who formed all the images and carved all the engravings?

MI is the Keter and Hochma, crown and wisdom and Eleh is ZA, Bina and Malchut; all together five vessels and that is the way that the upper light appears to us.
S. It says that the second restriction has to be corrected. I always thought that the second restriction was the perfect state. Can you elaborate on it?
R. The second restriction is the restriction, prohibition on using part of the vessel because we don’t have the powers to use them. We can only use vessels of bestowal and vessels of reception we cannot use at all. Afterwards, we receive more strength and then we are also able to use vessels of reception in order to bestow and then the second restriction is canceled but that is in the future, we will discuss that.
10. S. (32:18) What’s the difference between reading the Zohar, there’s a remedy for us and the Idol worshippers that believe in Astrology or something like that.. What is the difference?
R. No difference, ok. Very simple; those who believe or don’t believe, those who want to understand the action of the upper force will try to read the Zohar and get closer to it; that is the whole tendency and the person, doesn’t matter who he is and where he’s from.
S. Can you say that in order to be Israel i have to see that i first and foremost start as an idol worshiper?
R. You will discover that for yourself, you haven’t discovered that yet, you will.
11. S. (33:25) What is the point that changes throughout the different states, what is that point?
R. What point do you mean?
S. It’s written, the rising of the point to the thought, Bina, this is the point of Malchut to the screen, this point that repeats itself in all kinds of states?
R. It’s the point of Malchut, kingship. When it enters wherever it enters, it becomes a Kli.

R. The general Malchut in the ten, we don’t attain it yet we have to build it; we have to shape it, raise it, attach to it and connect to it so we still don’t have that.
S. When we read we need to imagine, how to imagine the raising of Nukva to Bina?
R. When our common desires rise to the desire to bestow, the quality of Bina. When we want to bestow all to the Creator like Him from His degree wants to give us everything. When these two desires meet the desire of The Creator and the created being or the host and the guest, in that way we try to connect with Him by bestowing to Him we’re giving to Him everything.
13. S. (36:22) Everything seems to be happening at the same time, the forces are pushing down and we are pushing up. It all seems like a big Bitush, can we through bestowal change this Bitush into Zivug De Hakaa?
R. Of course, of course. The Bitush, the beating, the bestow, the coupling of striking all of those are actions that we do with our will to receive when we receive the force of bestowal. So then we aim to transform the force of reception to the force of bestowal. Meaning, that the force of reception itself doesn’t change of course only its intention does: What for? Why do we do our action? What do we turn them towards?
14. S. (37:33) Is there a relationship between The Zohar and Reshimot, are the Reshimot affecting what it’s written in The Zohar?
R. Yes, of course. Reshimot are the main thing. Reshimot are the vessels that by the Light become Aviut and Masach, and as a result of that they do actions in order to bestow.
15. S. (38:13) What is Mochin?
R. Mochin is an inner light.
S. Mochin in the first and second of Gadlut, what is it?
R. It’s a light that spreads in the states of either the first Gadlut or second Gadlut in the Kli. We will learn what are these different states of Gadlut, the first and second.
S. Is it the result of the first and second restrictions or is it not related?
R. It has somthing to do with it but not directly.
S. About how Malchut wants to rise to Bina, it seems like I want to annul my egoistic desires and acquire correct thoughts that will bring me to the path of bestowal. Can i depict this process this way?
R. Try it, it is good.
16. S. (39:39) It says here in the last paragraph, that there aren’t enough Lights of KHB so if again the vessels of Bina and ZON will immediately receive GAR of light, how to acquire these Kelim, vessels?
R. Ask for a screen. Ask for a screen, and then you’ll be able to work from the vessels of reception Bina, ZA, Malchut; then besides the light of Nefesh, Ruach, you will also have NHY, Neshama’ Haya, Yechida.
17. S. (40:18) does a change of intention is an act of creation or creating the Creator?
R. I didn’t get it.
S. Is changing the intention in order to receive for himself to in order to bestow, is that an act of creation or a building of the Creator?
R. This action comes from the Creator but it happens in the created being according to the correct connection between the created being and The Creator; that they both want to be connected.
18. S. (41:14) How can we come to build the general Malchut in the ten?
R. The general Malchut in the ten, building it, is by longing to bestow to the Creator; and from that point of desire that we want to bestow to Him we connect between us to really become one force in bestowal, and that’s how it happens to us.

20. S. (55:01) Can you consider the Elokim as a faith above reason?
R. Yes. Of course Elokim is above reason if we receive it acquired it reveal it, it is higher high up above reason.
21. S. (55:35) Why can’t we make a Zivug on the vessels of Bina, ZA, and Malchut in their place and it’s possible in the lower degree?
R. How can you make a Zivug on Bina, ZA, and Malchut in their place if you don’t have the vessels of Keter, Hochma, if you don’t have me how can you work with ELEH.
S. That is why I can’t understand why the upper and lower these vessels to the lower degree what is he trying to attain by it?
R. The upper one wants to achieve Gadlut for the lower one to give light to the lower one.
S. If the lower one can not make a Zivug on his vessel?
R. It’s a problem.
S. What kind of help is the upper one giving to the lower one?
R. There’s no help here only a revelation of the deficiency.
22. S. (56:36) It says here those who sin in the calf they said ELEH these are your Gods of Israe, what is the sinned of the calf?
R. They want to work with the vessels of reception before they have all the vessels of bestowal.
23. S. (57:06) What is the meaning of before me gives the light of Hassadim without which ELEH will not be able to receive anything?

R. S. So they’re written letters are lights or they are a vessel?
R. They are vessels.

MI and ELEH are the vessels MI is Keter and Hochma, ELEH is Bina, ZA, and Malchut and when they connect we have a complete vessel in Katnut smallness when we have no power of the screen we use only the powers of MI when we have Gadlut adulthood we use vessels of reception so we have the vessels of ELEH and they connect to the vessels of MI and that is how you work, so that is why it says who created these MI or by ELEH?
S. So what we want to obtain is just Kli here so there’s no light in Elokim?
R. Of course there are lights but lights expands in vessels when we have vessels ready made for it according to the readiness of the vessels the lights expand in them either in 2 or 5 either in MI Keter, Hochma or already in Elokim MI and ELEH together.
30. S. (01:08:27) First of all it says in MA it syas HaVaYaH filled with Aleph the question is what is it in MA?
R. Aleph is a sigh of the second restriction we learn about it, the shape of the letter Aleph is symbolizes the second restriction a light above a light below and the Parsa the line that separates the upper and the lower part of the letter that’s a Parsa separates the Galgalta vEynaim and the AHP.

R. The spiritual root of honour is the is the honor of the Creator that we respect him and only want to feel and see him above us, hence it is a correction.

R. The common where we connect our desires and from this common desire we raise man to him in the form of collaboration of sharing.
