Faith Above Reason – Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #49
1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:27) Yes, so let’s continue this is actually the essence of all of the changes we have to go through and this is why I let us try to do it as effectively and quickly as possible and it all depends on the connection between us.
Reading Excerpt 49. (00:58) “According to the importance he acquires during the work of wholeness..”
2. R. (01:36) This is what it is about. Meaning as much as he has a difference between his own lowliness and the importance of the Creator does it give him the power to work or something else that he falls and he has no forces and he is in apathy, lacking forces, here the person should see if his purpose is to reach the purpose of creation, then out of seeing the gap of how much he is as zero, relative to the Creator it gives him more forces, let’s go on.
Reading on (02:27)
3. R. (04:03) Here is the matter of as much as the person advances in his effort in connection with all kinds of means that he wants to add to his work in order to reach the goal, he sees that he succeeds less and less, here he said that, “if the Lord does not build the house” they who build it will labor in vain.
Reading on (04:31)
4. R. (04:55) And here one should reach these two details that on the one hand the Creator helps him but out of him helping him he still does not see that he can reach anything and he actually needs to receive from him a spirit of life this is after the person sees in what and how much help he gets from above and he discovers what exactly he is lacking. This spirit of life is called Lishma and then he can breathe in the new world that he can be born and receive air from the new world and that this air is called Neshama; the soul.
5. S. (06:05) It is not so clear. What are Aba Ve Ima those qualities in the work and how is it helping their newborn that is born as a result of that connection?
R. Aba Ve Ima are the two forces that come to a person and help him shake him on one hand. On the other hand the person also starts to see more and more how much the forces that he receives he does not know how to be assisted by them how to work with them and then he demands that he will be taken care of he cries out and even before he is born he already has a demand to arrange these forces and in truth this is a natural process meaning it happens even without the person being involved in it and then he is born.
S. But the quality of the red, the mother is described as a disturbance not as help from above?
R. The Aba ve Ima are two contradicting forces and the Ubar or even as grown-ups we cannot develop unless it is through the two contradicting forces working on us only in such a way. The most important is to try to detect in our lives the forces that manage us that are contradictory. They obstruct us, one is in favor the other is against in all kinds of different situations and then in such a way we begin to understand what it is that the Creator wants from us, how he is educating and managing us and this is how we will advance.
S. What does it mean that the Creator helps?
R. Whatever happens we advance. As much as we try to understand the language of the Creator His address to us and then we respond correctly or incorrectly. It does not matter; we do develop. The Creator knows in advance what we are going to do. He knows in advance what we are capable of doing and what we are capable of and truly it is not so important for Him what our response is but we have to go through these states in order to have in us the accumulation of these states and out of that we will know how to live in the new conditions.
6. S. (10:06) What is the force of Aba and what is the force of Ima?
R. That does not matter, we still cannot differentiate who is the Aba ve Ima that one is giving the white the other the red and the Neshama comes from above over these two. The most important is that with all of these forces that operate on us we need to grow stronger in the connection between us and in our inclination towards the Creator: this is it. The Creator is One and in spite of all the forces that operate on us we want to detect this single force that is working on us.
S. If I shouldn’t go deeper tell me but the Aba is the force that gives and the Ima is the force that receives?
R. Let’s say that this is so.
7. S. (11:18) You said we always need to try to detect the opposite forces between us and always detect our connection to the Creator. The question is what is the negligence here that we are not always focused and can do it in the best possible way? What does it mean to be negligent in the work?
R. Negligence in the work is that you are not coming close in after the friends in order to be ready to detect specifically in the connection with them what it is that the Creator wants from you.
On the side of the Creator from the Creator’s perspective no action comes that relates to you individually; only to you. But rather only in order to bring you together and so you have to be ready for that.
S. How do I reach such a state that I’m always alert and prepared to be with the friends?
R. Over each and every state you are in you have to discuss it between you and you have to try to join these things together and to see how much you are coming closer or you are nearing or distancing or what you have between you. The most important thing is that we are moving to the purpose of creation. That we all become “as one man with one heart” and discover the Creator inside. The Creator is hiding behind the lack of connection.
S. So it means that every state we receive in the connection between us I have to scrutinize? I have to scrutinize each and everything? It doesn’t matter what I feel inside to take this scrutiny and through that ask the Creator for the result of the scrutiny?
R. Yes.
8. S. (13:40) What is being not cautious?
R. That we don’t pay attention to what is going over us, we do not relate these states that we are going through emotionally, correctly to the Creator. We do not open the heart in order to connect to the friends, meaning we are not working with our desires in it through truthful, deep and final manner.
9. S. (14:43) If I understand correctly that Baal HaSulam here discusses the way to achieve complete deficiency that the Creator answers. Is this deficiency created in the work of left and right in the ten?
R. I do not want to tell you because right and left in the ten who knows how know you will begin to see this and manipulate this and you think that it is in your hands. I do not want to answer that.
10. S. (15:36) How from the difference between the lowliness of the self and the greatness of the Creator can we receive strength to work and not to become powerless?
R. Specifically out of the fact that the person is feeling his own lowliness compared to the greatness of the Creator. Specifically out of seeing how much these states are polar opposites it is out of that he has the strength to continue. It is actually not the force of despair but rather the force of overcoming like before battle and it all depends on the environment: how much they prepare themselves to advance. In this we have two states.
One of the states is that we see that we are not capable of taking even a single step forwards because of barrier is so great that we cannot even imagine that we could cross it and the second state is that we do see that the barrier is great and the obstructions are truly significant but despite that we can do that and it all depends how much I feel the environment; here it’s all the matter of the environment. So before we go forward or feel and give ourselves the permission to feel a certain disturbance we need to see how much we are together because then the disturbance even though it seems to us as a disturbance but it is not like I cannot go through this together with the friends, so it all depends on the right perspective, the right way of looking at what we have ahead of us.
11. S. (18:16) Can we identify the connection of the ten to the Ima? Can we understand the ten as Ima?
R. Yes. Certainly the ten we can accept as the Ima or as a womb; as a home. Yes in all kinds of different states. The ten is the ten this is where I meet with the Creator. This is where we connect between us and with the Creator. The ten is the place where we can locate ourselves. Otherwise we are like infinity, in space, in outer space.
12. S. (19:39) Is our progress built on top of the right relation that we give to the feeling the Creator sends us?
R. Yes.
13. S. (19:56) If as a result of the effort to connect the ten felt that the Creator is giving us a new degree of connection how to thank the Creator? How is the action of gratitude taking place?
R. From the heart. You can cry out, you can speak, you can sing, you can play music but it does not matter: the most important thing is that it comes from the heart. As much as we connect together and awaken within our heart an attitude towards the Creator as gratitude for what He is doing for us that He promoted us on the path towards G’mar Tikkun.
14. S. (20:52) He writes in the beginning according to the importance he requires during the work of wholeness he later has the room to fill the deficiency. How do we acquire this wholeness?
R. The wholeness we acquire only out of Dvekut. That if we connect between us and then we annul the ego in the connection between us because otherwise we cannot connect and then out of the connection between us which is which actually means that we bring ourselves into a common zero and then we can be in Dvekut with the Creator and out of that we acquire wholeness. We get it from Him, that feeling of the wholeness, the quality of wholeness. This is how we advance. Yes?
S. How from Dvekut with the friends and the work of connection can we also receive the deficiency?
R. If we are ready with our Dvekut with our appreciation of the greatness of the Creator to receive a new degree then we begin to discover that within the connection between us from the connection between us we begin to discover deficiencies and all kinds of flaws and this is how we again need to advance onward more and more.
S. So basically from this progress these deficiencies are built in us and this is the prayer we raise for the friends. Basically there is something here that is missing for me in the action that I come to connect and then I receive a deficiency to pray. There is some glue here that is missing for me.
R. In which place is it missing?
S. How do I turn the deficiency to something that is mine; to a prayer that comes out of me?
R. It is yours because you have to connect the friends inside your heart: you have to gather them together.
S. This gathering is actually the way that I am acquiring them?
R. You acquire them, you bring them closer, you come close to them, you perform all kinds of actions only so they will connect within you.
S. And this acquisition can it be in thought or it is in action?
R. For the time being it is good to do in action. Later on the intention will be sufficient.
15. S. (24:26) The Creator relates to the state of the entire ten. Does it mean that there are no individual states in spirituality?
R. Personal meaning of a single individual well we have that but his individual state he is in that he annuls himself before the ten. As much as he individually annuls himself before the ten this is actually his state, his place, his spiritual degree.
S. So, if I feel that I receive an individual state, how to work towards the ten?
R. You have to be in Dvekut towards them. There is nothing else to do.To be in Dvekut so the ten will become as one.
Reading Excerpt 50 twice. (25:25) “Exalt the Lord, our God..”
16. R. (29:13) Meaning that I do not take into account what I think or feel. I want to be above all to accept the conditions of holiness. Meaning, what does he say here, “I bow before His Holy mountain.” It means surrendering when the person lowers his reason and says that what the reason understands or doesn’t understand I annul and subjugate. It is not important for me at all what is happening in it for which quality do I subjugate before His Holy Mountain.
Reading on…
17. R. (31:23) Here it is written in a way that is quite clear so I don’t think we have many questions.
18. S. (31:35) It turns out that any thought that I have there is Kedusha in it. So how to differentiate in the work with the friends?
R. I did not understand how to distinguish between the with friends and holiness or with the Creator?
S. Yes, let’s say we are working with the friends and different feelings and thoughts come up and here it says that in every thought there is the Creator, there is Kedusha. Maybe I do not feel it so how to feel the Kedusha in every thought?
R. It all depends on you. As much as you ascribe all of your actions and those of the friends to the Creator through the Creator. That He manages everything and he exists in all of your actions and in all of your thoughts and even if you do not think of Him or you do not think of the friends but instead you are in a way that you are disconnected from everybody nevertheless the Creator exists in all of your thoughts and desires.
So first of all reach that because this is for sure this is how it is. The Creator is the foundation of our whole life and later to try to connect yourself with the Creator and the friends as much as they are also in that and as much as you together and come closer to each other in order to discover and feel the Creator and to truly feel that He is between you and in such a gradual manner more and more and more we reach a state when you begin to feel how He is operating within you; where He is hidden and how you can approach Him.
This is how it happens and it all depends on the number of exercises you are doing and the exercises whether they are correct or not it does not matter so much like a little child whatever he does how much he succeeds or not but it is the number of actions that he himself is performing the Creator arranges them in such a way to begin with that he grows wiser by that and he reaches the knowledge the wisdom of life and it is the same here. We must constantly as much as possible to try to be connected between us in all kinds of different manners, correct or not correct, it does not matter and to change them each time and not to let these states stay in some standby state but rather all the time to turn them and turn them more and more and then we reach it quickly.
S. What is more important in that state, the Creator or the friends?
R. I think that in all of these states the goal and the source is the Creator for our actions and the means is the friends without whom I cannot carry out any action. This is how we should be.
19. S. (36:15) What does it mean to connect to my friends from the heart?
R. I want to feel my heart together with the heart of the friends and that we have a desire, a heart means a desire and that we have a single desire, or at least we will feel where we have this collection of desires that have not yet reached a connection between them so that they would become a single desire. This is what I want. There is nothing more important than reaching one heart because the heart is the desire; the center of creation.
This discernment that the Creator created and so we have to reach a state where we feel our hearts together. It is impossible to reach it artificially or through some external form but rather we need to try to be in some kind of an inner search where there inside of me I have a heart and in this heart I feel the hearts of the friends and actually even before I reach this search for the connection between our hearts the friends are already there and actually they are not there meaning that they succeeded in doing that before me but rather the Creator succeeded in doing this before us because He is the one connecting us together and so when I reach this search for the connection between the hearts I discover the work of the Creator that He is connecting our hearts and He actually prepares for us this kind of an area for our spiritual Kelim.
S. Can we say that what is important is not the form of desire of the friends but more to feel that we have this power, this desire for the Creator?
R. Yes and I also want to add that I later on get all kinds of questions from the friends that from some of them I see that they are truly together inside the questions and answers that we are discussing in the lessons and with some of them it is because the person himself is not asking so what does he hear about what we are talking about. It is not his deficiency. It is not his question. This is completely wrong because we all of us have to connect we all have to connect it is not that I should understand with my mind a certain question but rather I need to feel in my heart that through these questions and answers the connections, the thoughts, the thoughts and the desires of everyone and how much we are coming closer and first in a point of contact and later on with a deeper and deeper connection between us.
We need to feel throughout the lessons how much we feel, how much we feel each other, how much we become incorporated into each other and this is something you have to see, feel and check and if you do not feel that you are truly entering into each other into the heart of the friends then it should pain you; you should be concerned about it.
20. S. (41:46) I wanted to share something. It is not a question but it is something that we are talking about right now. We were telling you about a friend who is struggling and we tried to surround her and incorporate with her and we were meeting as a ten. We had a workshop and we wanted to share our desire to be one, to pray to the Creator as a group and we had a successful outcome. So we did a twenty-four attack and then nothing in corporeality really changed but it shifted in our hearts.
R. Very good and thank you for all of you doing it because by this you also gave a great boost to all of us.
21. S. (43:12) I have two questions. Firstly, can we say that the thought of the group is the thought of the Kedusha is annulling myself before the group; it is the same as annulling myself before the Creator?
R. Yes. Both are correct.
22. S. (43:46) The opposites give me the feeling of dizziness; a lack of forces. How can I avoid that the desire will grow so much that it becomes like a mountain that makes me feel despair and it feels that it’s impossible to attain it?
R. Stop taking control of the states. Stop controlling the states. Just let them be and say that I want to be only under the governance of the Creator and in the heart of the friends. That’s it and then you will have no difficulties and you will not feel helpless or powerless. Everything will fall into place. Moving from the individual ego to the general desire and the Kli of Adam HaRishon that takes time and changes and a lot of frustration and perseverance.
23. S. (45:16) So first we attain the exaltedness of the Creator and then afterwards we can achieve the attainment of the exaltedness of the Lord our God so what is the difference?
R. No, I did not understand.
S. In the text at the end there are two stages so it seems first the exaltedness of the Creator and afterwards we can achieve the attainment of the exaltedness of the Lord our God. If you have already attained the exaltedness of the Creator what is afterwards that we can also achieve the exaltedness of the Lord our God?
R. That is a big difference. I have reason to a degree, what I feel is the greatness of the Creator but now I am going to measure, what is the greatness of the Creator in my eyes? Meaning how do I acquire the Kelim to measure the greatness of the Creator? How do I identify with the greatness of the Creator? How do I build these degrees within me towards the greatness of the Creator? I begin to build myself like the Creator. That’s a big difference: that’s great work and it’s long work because all-in-all until G’mar Tikkun we rise in levels of the greatness of the Creator altogether.
24. S. (47:07) We on a regular basis take part in the lessons because this is the time of an opportunity to advance and to develop. The question is the study that we get in the lessons is that Kedusha? Do these things build the body?
R. We, during the study, incorporate with the forces that work inside the spiritual realm and we connect with those forces through what Rabash and the Baal HaSulam write to us. These forces work on us and they establish, form our spiritual body. Meaning that we are building ourselves here and we are also building the Creator as it is said, “You have made me,” and it all happens by receiving all kinds of conditions and we want to measure these conditions on ourselves. What we have to do is always try in the relationships between us to build the Creator as we would build a snowman or from plasticine we shape some doll.
Similarly we need to build the Creator to the extent we love him and understand him and feel him what he should be like this is how we have to shape the relationships between us. When I relate to the friend then I have to relate to him as the Creator that relates to him can I do that? Let’s try to imagine that I have a few friends and I want to relate to them as I think that Creator should relate to them. So by that just understand what I can do here because through this I already play like in a theater I am playing the Creator meaning I imagine to myself I resemble myself to the Creator and thus I relate to the friends this way and by that we are already building new systems of a relationship.
This is what we have to do and all of that happens on top of the hatred and the rejection and competition and all kinds of calculations between us that the Creator in the meantime awakens between us and He does that on purpose in each and every moment in each and every state so that we will learn what is the difference between the states that the Creator awakens between us, the egoistic states and what are the states that we want to see between us, the altruistic states of love and connection and that’s how we advance. So try to do that and you will see how much it gives you such a profound and broad engagement, a spiritual engagement where you can feel a lot of spiritual discernments and whatever you get from there will stay within you and later enable you to enter and sense the spiritual world.
25. S. (52:50) Do we get the Creator by step-by-step attaching to the friends and creating a stronger and stronger connection between the friends?
R. Yes. As we rise through degrees, as we say, in every degree you have to as if detect where there could be a descent here, a fall, what is the difficulty in rising to another level, what support you need in order to rise to the next level: you have to grab hold of the staff. It is not so simple and towards the next degree we look like children or elderly people who are weak or not understanding.
26. S. (54:25) The goal is Dvekut with the Creator and the means are the friends and you said that we have to work in a true manner. How do we work in this manner in order to reach wholeness?
R. I do not know what we said before that you are asking about. I have already gone through many other thoughts and situations in my mind and heart. So I think we as it is written we just need to be “as one man in one heart.” We have to come closer to each other all of us in a way that the Creator can reside within us and feel no partitions and then it fills this collective space that we have built for Him.
27. S. (55:46) How to pay attention to the emotions that we feel above reason?
R. In those emotions above reason I want to feel only the Creator in His singularity that He fills everything, governs everything, fulfills everything, He’s organizing and orchestrating everything and then there is None Else Besides Him and so through this template I relate to everyone, the entire ten and through the ten I relate this way to the entire Bnei Baruch World Organization and to the extent that we come closer to each other to that extent the Creator begins to assist us in attaining that state and then we achieve corrections. Altogether the correction we need to achieve is that all of us, the whole of humanity, we all connect as one. So certainly there are still many stages of work here of corrections and yet the main thing is the foundation that this is how we want to see the future.
28. S. (57:53) How is it possible to use states of darkness that exist between me and the friends in order to enrich our connection? I don’t want to just shift from darkness to light. I want to be connected more to the friend dependant on him to feel him more?
R. It all depends on how you define darkness and light. If I define darkness as not seeing the friends as close and like means that I do feel them as close and that we all connect in a single heart in the same with the Creator, then to me all those states of darkness and light or separateness and connection that is what there is; there is nothing more than that. There is nothing else. Make room in your heart for all of humanity and check each time if they are there.
29. S. (59:14) How can a person check that he is surrendering to the upper reason of Kedusha and not to some cunning reason disguised as Kedusha?
R. That depends on him. How much he examines and inspects his thoughts and feelings; it all depends on the person. The Creator certainly deceives him and manipulates him and the other person needs to be smarter and also more cunning in regards to the Creator.
S. What does it mean to be cunning towards the Creator?
R. Not to let the Creator deceive him. The Creator runs these games in order to make the person wiser just like we do with little kids and so here we have to orient ourselves like that.
30. S. (01:00:51) What is more correct to do when friends ask a question to connect to the question and try to understand it deeply? Or to make an effort to feel from where the friend is asking and connect with his deficiency?
R. I am not going into the friend to research where the question is coming from. I hear the question and I want to answer it and that is what I do with each and every friend because basically I need to answer the questions and I’m very sorry that sometimes sometimes you do sometimes you don’t but sometimes you are not there as I am trying to make an effort to answer the questions and sort out all the answers and it is a shame because that does not bring connection between you and you’re missing on a lot of things.
When people are asking questions and we’re discussing some problem you are as if outside of it. When I see that I am really very sorry for seeing that and I see, I’m seeing your faces, I have a big screen in front of me but still I don’t understand why not all of us not everyone but there are many relating in this regard to other questions or even what I answer like waiting for something more interesting for them to happen. And that is a really big loss, major loss, major loss.
Reading Item # 51 twice (01:02:50 – 01:08:50)
31. R. Even though, themselves, they don’t feel it but they want to have such an impression; this is also suitable for what is written, “beware of poor children or the children of the poor”, that they have nothing but they still arrive at the Torah because they feel that they have nothing.
32. S. (01:09:31) He writes here, it’s interesting, that “I ask not that He will give me attainment”, to attain the greatness of the Creator but rather he asked the Creator to give him the power to believe in to the greatness of the Creator”, what is the difference?
R. The difference is that if I feel the greatness of the Creator then I feel it, that is in my feeling, but if I have faith in the greatness of the Creator, that is already coming from my faith which means, I don’t hold it in my hands, I don’t attain it like that. But I received from above such a feeling and that is why it is a lot more respected and that is called ‘spiritual attainment’.
What I am receiving in my vessel that’s basically corporeal, let’s say that I attain, that I feel in my vessels greatness of the Creator, the force of the Creator, some influence from Him, so I have that. Like you say taste or drink or something but if I don’t receive it in my ordinary vessels rather, I want to be impressed by that in the force of faith, that is a higher degree. That is a degree were already have to rise to the degree of the upper one, to incorporate with the upper one and feel how the same phenomena exist in Him and that means I have attained it correctly in its complete manner. All right we will talk more about these attainments and the differences between them
.
33. S. (01:12:01) What is the feeling of the exaltedness of the Creator, how is it expressed, manifested in our vessel?
R. The greatness of the Creator is that a person feels how the Creator fills up everything and encompasses everything and there is None Else Besides Him; there is one single off of force and that is it.
34. S. (01:12:35) According to excerpt 51, is there a difference between the exaltedness of the Creator and the greatness of the Creator?
R. I can’t say. I think it’s with respect to a person it’s almost the same thing, greatness of the Creator exaltedness of the Creator. The exaltedness is measured and weighed in other vessels than their greatness, ‘greatness’ is already the greatness of in clothing, and ‘exaltedness’ is beyond that, above that. It is through incorporating the upper one and greatness of the Creator, we should say, it’s essentially within the vessels of the lower one.
35. S. (01:13:46) In relation to the exercise that you recommended for us to do, what does it mean to relate to their friends as the Creator would relate to them? The Creator educates us, He relates to us through the complicated system of Providence where there is both left and right, and if so, how should we relate to the friends?
R. We have to relate to the friends out of love, out of love, just as we relate to ourselves, very simple, because all together we are moving towards becoming one body.
36. S. (01:14:35) Your answer to a friend that we build ourselves and we measure ourselves in relation to the greatness of the Creator, does that mean that we should always check where we were and where we are now, and how do we check that?
R. Yes, yes.
37. S. (01:15:04) They say, “if you try to catch too much you don’t catch anything”, in the lesson there is so many discernments, so many scrutinies and after sometime I feel that I can no longer contain the lesson and I am not able to catch anymore. Even if I hear it throughout the day, later on, I am not focused and then afternoon lesson comes already. How to make room in the heart for all of these infinite scrutinies and discernment that we get in the lesson?
R. I don’t know, I don’t know, I remember myself I used to write, I used to hear the recorded lesson, I would put it on writing and I would simply write. Then I would divide it into pieces. I really did work a lot on each and every lesson: what it’s made of and how to relate to it. I don’t have any ability to recommend to you how to relate to the lesson, each one should see how much he can be close to the lesson in order to feel himself, by that, his soul.
I need to open myself and the lesson should go in, not to care about the intellect, don’t worry about the intellect, just the emotion. Later the emotion will leave but still it doesn’t leave, it remains in me, we go through all kinds of states, but it remains, it remains. Try to nonetheless, each and every lesson be excited, be moved by it, and then you will see how much it works. It’s as if you are taking the same dough every time that you’re making new forms out of it, like Play-Doh, so you’re making new forms out of it, new shapes.
38. S. (01:18:24) What to give as a person the power to choose to go with faith above reason?
R. The inner point of walking above reason is in his heart, that is how he’s born, some people are born with this point and this is what pushes them to develop spiritually. And later it is already the way the Creator organizes it for you, your society, your environment, teacher, lesson etc., but still everything is governed from above; all we need is to make an effort to add, add, add to our effort.
S. (01:20:46) We are really, my friend doesn’t know English, and they really wanted to ask the questions in Turkish but I think we’re not allowed to ask in Turkish so that is why, even though they’re burning to connecting with you and asking you questions, they’re not going to be able to because they can’t, they do not know English.
R. First of all, you can ask in Turkish, for us Turkish is like any other language; we highly respect Turkish people and the Turkish language, and the Turkish culture and everything. It is not correct that you are not allowed to ask in Turkish and in general you can ask in any language, there’s no such a thing, none.
So you may ask, you can ask, we have a few people who know Turkish here and they will happily translate it, so let’s start to tighten the connection. I simply, I have been seeing this woman, she’s very impressive, and she is listening in the way that she really wants to understand and to go inside, but she does not ask me anything, that is why I turned to her and asked. Well good luck to you.
40. S. (01:23:20) In the excerpt, a relation is established between pomegranate and faith above reason, can you explain this?
R. ‘Pomegranate’, Rimon, is from the word ‘exaltedness’, and then he explains what is the exaltedness of the Creator that should be in our eyes, that is all.
41. S. (01:24:00) You said the Creator makes us want more, the situation where we don’t have anything, but how is it possible that, on the contrary, we have a deficit of perception of that condition?
R. It’s not that we don’t have the ability, suppose you have in your hands one thread and you’re trying to catch a fish, you can’t, but if you have ten lines you can make a net of them with your friends then you can catch it. Meaning it all depends on how we work, none of us has a vessel to catch the Creator and to reveal Him. The right vessel to reveal the Creator is connection between us and to the ten and we can certainly catch Him and He will be ours. So let’s learn how to catch, how to make such a net that the Creator will be revealed in this net, these are the Ten Sefirot.
42. S. (01:25:36) Such a question: how do we in order to build this net where we catch the Creator, do I understand correctly that we need to relate to the friends as the Creator as The Good that does good, and in parallel, to focus on other great responsibility that every action every word the friends grasp as the action of the Creator through me, and with this sense of responsibility to be very careful with very action, can this help?
R. It will help, it will also help if you speak a bit less, you need to prepare to say your whole question in two sentences or it’s best even one.
43. S. (01:26:36) Does the Creator reveal in the corrected relationship between us or do we build Him like the doll in the plastiline?
R. It is the same thing, it is the same work, on His behalf and ours that we have to reach a state that our shape or the Creator’s shape, one of the shapes he can take have to be equal and then we can say the Creator is clothing in us, He is revealed in us.
44. S. (01:27:21) By the answer you gave to the friend, is it correct to say that faith or to believe is above reason and to feel is within reason?
R. That is correct.
S. How not to fall in faith and to believe below reason?
R. First of all, if I am along with my friends it is impossible for me to fall below the reason, that’s one thing, another thing is above reason is when, in reason, I am incapable of attaining the Creator, but when we identify ourselves with each other, we equalize each others. We want to feel each other and the Creator will be revealed in us, between us, in this tendency towards Him, then it will be above reason.
