Part 2:
Baal HaSulam. The Gatehouse of Intentions (Chapter 5. #58)
Reading chap. 5 #58 (00:15) “Thus we have explained how they are three vessels..” twice
1. R. (02:03) Well we will try to understand what he writes from the simple light.
Reading Simple light #58 (02:09) “..Three vessels, one inside the other…”
2. S. (05:23) It says here at the Sium at the end of each Partzuf there is a grip for the outer ones. How can we always hold on to the greatness of the goal without falling to these other ones? How to cut them correctly?
R. In truth at the end of every Partzuf in its NHY there is the Klipa which needs to be cut off and discarded to the dust, to the dust meaning not to consider it whatsoever in any way and all the rest can be used.
S. But the Klipa, the shell is when the person wants to feel this pleasure inside of him.
R. We will learn these things. On the eighth day after birth all seven Sefirot pass and what’s left for us is just the GAR so the day of the circumcision comes the Brit Milah.
3. S. (07:03) He writes here that Ibur Yenicha and Mochin are vessels of NRN. There are no vessels against Haya and Yechida. How can that be?
R. We can’t correct until the end of correction all of the vessels in a complete manner rather only the VAK.
S. In general these are inner vessels, what does that mean to correct them? What does it mean to correct them?
R. To correct them since you cannot take these vessels and perform correction in receiving in order to bestow in them, it’s impossible, there’s no such force to do such intentions upon these desires.
S. At what point do you have a force to do that?
R. At the final correction.
S. Only then they become internal vessels?
R. Yes yes we’ll read about that soon.
4. S. (08:09) What we just read, the correction of these vessels, the foreskin. Maybe I’m mistaken but this is the correction of the lust?
R. I don’t want to get confused with your philosophies if it’s not written, don’t ask.
5. S. (08:33) Sometimes it’s a bit difficult it’s very confusing when you see the text with the feeling of connection. What should be the internal demand when I read such a text?
R. That through our connection we can reach some state of connection and we must stop on it without reaching the end of it because between us there are certain desires and vessels which cannot be corrected until the end of correction. We will learn it but we need to perform certain corrections along the way in order to connect, we cannot connect with all the desires.
S. How can we know when we read and we do not necessarily understand to really draw the light that reforms ideally?
R. Ideally we can’t. Ideally it’s at the end of connection, it’s impossible but what we can do is as much as possible and be cautious not to move to such desires upon which we cannot overcome and therefore we will watch over them, we’ll simply leave them for the time being.
6. S. (10:04) What is the state in the end of the Partzuf every action becomes a Klipa a shell? How to work with that Sium?
R. We do not receive sufficient forces to correct all our desires in receiving in order to bestow. The end of all of the Partzufim is where the biggest desires are and we need to work in them to receive in order to bestow and we’re not capable, there are those and we are not capable, therefore we perform corrections, what corrections, we don’t use these desires, so these corrections are called Orla, the foreskin, the fertility, all kinds of other things like this. There are such connections we will get there and you will see what it means.
S. How do we throw to the ground without falling into it?
R. To the dust meaning after we cut these vessels then we discard them to the dust to the sand as there’s no importance for us there.
S. This dust is the same as the divinity in the dust that we read about in a previous article?
R. It’s surrounding that, yes something from there.
7. S. (11:57) About this Sium the Sof what you talked about, why sometimes they say the end is Malchut and sometimes it’s Taamim, the forcefield?
R. That’s not too important it’s not one Sefirot it’s also not forcefields it’s the Sium the ends of all the Sefirot which are gathered in such a way, we actually didn’t talk about that, we don’t talk about it so much but the connection of desires in one Kli is very complex it’s very complex and it’s impossible to say that everything is pure in Keter, Hochma and Bina and then it begins to be a little more then towards Malchut, it’s the Klipot, rather in every place in every stage you have also Klipa and also Kedusha.
We need to scrutinize and differentiate these between them and cut them and don’t let them connect anymore and so on, therefore it’s written that way, we are yet to see what kind of forms we have here. It’s not that just in some place in some Sefira we have such desires that we need to cut and not let them connect to such desires that can receive in order to bestow but rather all together, also in our internal psychology, we learn about the extent in which we must be cautious of connecting these desires with those.
Since each time in one concrete desire we can scrutinize when to use it and when not but when we connect desires then it becomes something that has a completely different set of laws and we have plenty to learn about this, there’s more to learn, but it’s a very interesting thing how from a few things that are in certain phenomenon a bit, when they connect something bad happens. How could it be that each of them is gold and it’s truly pure but when you connect together it truly becomes a Klipa. We will learn those things. It’s very interesting but that’s actually what happens to us in our lives where we fail in these things many times and don’t understand why.
8. S (15:00) We are saying that everything that we see we want to connect it to the connection to the Friends, shouldn’t we do that?
R. Yes, you connect but you need to scrutinize what kind of connections and what kind of connection there needs to be.
S. What is the right way to take these desires that we want to work with connections with the friends, how should we do it?
R. We will learn soon, it’s good that you understand that it’s not simple.
S. Yes it is confusing sometimes.
R. The main thing is the problem with the connection. Therefore all the corrections are in connection. That is why specifically because of the bad connection the shattering took place so that we will scrutinize what the flaws in correct connection were and after the correction how can we come to the end of correction.
S. If a desire awakens and I want to work with a friend I should only use it to wake up and disconnect from that desire?
R. No no no, do not with your new wisdom start new laws or rules. We will learn what Kabbalists write. I have not heard of such a thing before. Truly what confidence what smarts, we do not do it that way.
Continue Reading Simple light #58 (16:44) “There are no Vessels opposite Yechida and Haya..”
10. S. (19:05) Because Zeir Anpin and Malchut were separated in each degree because of the second restriction. Tell me please, were Zeir Anpin and Malchut ever tight? Once Zeir Anpin and Malchut were like all the Sefirot?
R. They were incorporated into each other. Yes and now they cannot be incorporated in all the Sefirot.
S. That is why I’m asking why and why were Zeir Anpin and Malchut separated, why did that happen at all? Everything was all good?
R. This happened in the second restriction.
S. Why? What is the reason?
R. Because there were vessels that could not be in order to bestow.
S. In the world of Ein Sof Zeir Anpin and Malchut were connected to each other?
R. Of course, in the world of Ein Sof everything is okay.
S. Why is this corruption?
R. Because below the Tabur in the world of Atzilut where they wanted to correct these vessels, it was discovered that there were desires to receive in order to receive that cannot be correct and that is why the shattering took place.
S. All that is done for man, for us to make a correction?
R. It is all in preparation for our correction.
Continue Reading Simple light #58 (20:30) “The Hashmal that Surrounds all the Vessels..”
11. R. (21:38) Meaning that it is one light and that can be cut and receive two lights from it, we will soon learn what that means here.
Continue Reading Simple light #58 (21:52)
12. R. (26:52) Very interesting things we are reading here, but to understand them completely we will not be able to, that will be later with time. Nevertheless these pieces of information grow and expand our mind, our head and our head expands. That is why only with patience we will continue and advance.
13. S. (27:28) Can you explain what the tree of knowledge of good in Atzilut is?
R. These are vessels that are in Atzilut above the Parsa which can be received in order to bestow, which is why it is called good. Whereas the vessels that are below the Parsa in the worlds of BYA are called evil. Either they need to be scrutinized or you’re not allowed to use them.
14. S. (28:17) What is the meaning in the unsorted vessel when we are talking about the ten and my second question is how can the vessel not be regarded as a vessel but rather light?
R. No, it’s just the way we call it sometimes, we call the vessels by the names of lights and lights by the names of vessels, VAK GAR NRYN, it will all stabilize in the end.
S. What is the unweeded vessel in the ten?
R. We still do not know, there are many such things that we don’t know what we are entering into. But later we will scrutinize and see that we were wrong, we were right, okay, not okay, get confused. That is the way to grow, what can you do, just little to children like babies.
