MITZVA 419 To give the kohein the due portions of the carcass of cattle (Deut. 18:3) (according to the Talmud, this is not mandatory in the present outside of Israel, but it is permissible, and some observant people do so) (CCA51).
Deuteronomy Chapter 18 דְּבָרִים
ג וְזֶה יִהְיֶה מִשְׁפַּט הַכֹּהֲנִים מֵאֵת הָעָם, מֵאֵת זֹבְחֵי הַזֶּבַח–אִם-שׁוֹר אִם-שֶׂה: וְנָתַן, לַכֹּהֵן, הַזְּרֹעַ וְהַלְּחָיַיִם, וְהַקֵּבָה.
3 And this shall be the priests’ due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep, that they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.
