Measuring the joy in adhesion with the Creator

1. Rav’s Introduction: If we are looking at the history of humankind where humanity is gradually revealing better and better conditions to exist and the human society together, all the stages it went through, we can see that all together all in all humanity is searching more or less successfully how to exist together. Wars pass and happen again and the periods between the wars also, and still humanity doesn’t understand how it can reach some good life, rest, agreements, closeness to each other. It’s clear to everyone that if we disconnect from our demnds from each other, if we get closer to each other then what could be better? But we can’t, because of our ego. There’s something in each of us which is called the ego or will to receive which resists connection with others.

Connection means I’m willing to help the other and he is willing to help me and we will be as one, not calculate what I have what he has and everyone will be happy, and we don’t understand this formula, we also cannot do it even a little bit. This is why humanity constantly searching, it can’t do otherwise. It is searching how to advance to a situation where we’re all connected, we’re all supporting one another and everyone is happy and it will be safe for women, for children and for men as well, and we will exist and Earth will be will give abundance to everyone. It will give everyone what it has, we won’t need more, we will be able to divide it plentifully to each and every one.

Subconsciously humanity understands that this is the best way but for thousands of years we through our ego, through our evil inclination we have been moving away and we completely do not think of how to keep this natural condition of living as friends, living together as one, on the other hand.

On the other hand for thousands of years of our history, our bitter history and tough history we still see that at the same time along with us we have this information of how it would still be good if we could get closer, if we could embrace, if we could be concerned for each other. How much effort, suffering it would save, the means, the resources it would save us, and we could do everything easily and with high spirits, with mutual closes and confidence and joy.

Humanity has been speaking about it and thinking about it and the truth is all the forms of society, the ancient society everywhere in the world established such societies that were communes. And they lived in this way until in each commune the ego erupted and broke all the agreements and the connections. Today we are in a phase where we have gone through all the states as Baal HaSulam writes, the extreme-right, the extreme left, the radicalism, capitalism, socialism etcetera and we have not found any quality that we can remain in and which will suffice for everyone, will be satisfactory for everyone.

Therefore several years ago the wisdom of Kabbalah was revealed to humanity. It is not exactly several years ago it’s more than 2,000 years ago and even before, we will learn in the exact history but actually it is being revealed today. It was in contradiction to all the other methods, it was very concealed, it was hidden. Kabbalists were ordering not to reveal it, they were waiting for humanity to understand that we can exist only on the condition that we can rise about our egoistic desire, above our nature.

But today we are already in a situation where we can say we have tried everything. We have tried all kinds of methods, we have tried them as much as possible and we saw that it is impossible, impossible. What is left for us as the wisdom of Kabbalah explains, this is probably what it should be like and all we need is to assist it a little bit. But in the end everything needs to be revealed from above, meaning nature itself.

This is why we have gathered here, to think how using our connection we will reach joy, we will come to such awakening that all those dreams, yearnings that for thousands of years were in our world and humanity, we will be able to realize them in the optimum way, in the best optimal way. So that humanity will see how much we’re moving closer in the end to the right solution, and this is what we’re doing with you. That upper force called the upper light or the Creator’s shines on us and we feel on ourselves that it operates on us because we are the closest to it, according to the nature of creation, according to the root of the soul, according to the point of the heart.

It doesn’t matter what you call this quality but what happens is that we do need to get closer to the Creator, for us to assist this process so it doesn’t come only from the upper force which wants to organize all the pieces of creation so they will grow closer and unite together. But these pieces, these parts of creation themselves which are called the last generation, not only a few are awakening as it has been happening over the past several Millennia but that many are awakening, men and women, young people. They are awakening and they are ready to participate in the inner change within them so as to raise all of humanity from the degree is lived in until now, in suffering, in blows into a sublime beautiful state with understanding, recognition.

That with the great revelation they will come to knowing the complete state what is nature, which is the Creator because there is no other force, None Else Besides Him who is good and does good and loves everyone. And we only need to advance toword that love, to be incorporated in it. This is what we need to learn between us, how to make love present between us and then between us the Creator will be revealed. I hope we’re close to it, it all depends on our efforts. So again we need to show love between us so it will fill up the spaces between us and then the Creator will be revealed within the love that we are preparing for Him to be revealed. So let’s go and we will succeed. L’chaim Bnei Baruch.

Reading Excerpt #1 (13:30)

2. R. (14:07) The joy is necessary. We teel this internally, spontaneously, it is regardless, it is independent. I can’t determine I can’t tell myself now I’m happy or now I’m crying. Feelings are a result of one’s inner state and therefore we first have to come through our work to a state of joy. And in the place of joy when I’m happy then I exist, and exist in such a way that I’m connected to everyone and everyone is happy because the Creator is in us, is present in us. Than our desire, our common united desire with the Creator is revealed and that’s the place of joy where the Creator is present in us.

Therefore it is impossible for the Creator to be revealed in a place of sadness, a place that feels any absence of joy. Where does joy come from? It is a result of connection, there is nothing else. If it’s correct joy, good joy, not egoistic it is only joy from connection. So let’s try to be connected, to elicit joy out of the connection and present it to the Creator as a condition for Him to be revealed in us.

Reading Excerpt #2 (16:07)

3. R. (17:55) We see in everything in our lives that there must be two carriers, reactions discernments, feelings. We can’t have one without the other because then something is missing in one, hate, love, bitter, sweet, darkness, light etc. These things are in us because we are created beings and this is why we can feel something only in the boundary, in the borderline let’s say between darkness and light.

If the light is all light then we don’t feel anything, we don’t see anything, if it’s completely dark we also don’t. It is precisely when there is a transition between the two, in these states we can establish ourselves and exist in this way. It’s like music for example, sounds, we need constantly one opposite the other to ring, to fill up our ears, our hearing. In spirituality it is far more critical, far more felt, much greater because we have to come to a state where first of all we begin to distinguish between the Creator and the created being. How can we do that? This is why the Creator created in the created beings all kinds of discernments in which we are already in all kinds of different states.

By somehow being able to manage with one another we begin to learn that besides my qualities there are other qualities. Just like we see the little kids, a little child doesn’t want anything except what he wants at that very moment, that’s it. If not he just burst into tears and doesn’t understand anything. The more he grows up, the more he understands that everything needs to be balanced. This is how he learns through incorporation of one quality with another, and another with another.

This is how we learn or at least should learn in our groups about incorporation, this quality with that quality, this quality with that quality. And then by being incorporated according to the nature that the Creator created, if we become incorporated with all the friends, the 10 friends then we are ready by this to begin to absorb the Creator’s relation towards us. To perceive it, to understand His language, to have a sufficient vessel to react, to respond to all kinds of qualities that He’s passing on to us. And we will understand what He’s trying to say, how He is speaking to us.

This is why in the end, when do we come to joy? When we can perceive all the bad things and all the good things and they are in harmony between them, in mutual complementation, and we will understand. It’s called the darkness shines us light and then everything becomes light for us, everything is love, everything is an encounter, a connection between us and the Creator. Meaning there’s no bad in the world and we only need to know how we organize, arrange these discernments together in mutual complementarity.

4. S. (22:39) After the second lesson we wanted to connect and decided to go for a trip, we traveled some place and we had a Shabbat Haverim there and then in this Shabbat Haverim suddenly something happened, there was this huge burst, we are more than twenty friends here and friends started talking and it was round after round, each friend opened his heart. There was a second round and a third round and a fourth round and it just didn’t end. Round after round, it was, I cannot describe the sensation of how huge these friends are who are around me, behind me like we’re sitting here looking normal but we are all in such huge impression.

Just can’t describe what we went through. Question is we don’t want to keep this sensation to ourselves, we felt such an intense connection and we are in fear that it won’t just stay in this room. How to pass on this feeling to all of our friends in the world Kli that this joy really bursts into all the friends, all the groups, Maybe they already feel it but we want to pass it in order to give contentment to the Creator, how do we do this?

R. I don’t know, only if you invite them to such a meeting too, to a meal but other than that, a lesson, a meeting, a friends’ gathering, a gathering of friends in the meal, this is what we have, try to pull them into it.

5. S. (24:37) Regarding the excerpt and also the name of the Congress, on the spiritual level, what’s the difference between joy and pleasure? Is there a connection between the reception and bestowal, and also how do we attain the wholeness?

R. Such huge questions that I don’t know how to answer. What is the connection between bestowal and reception? In the person’s heart, that’s where the connection is made; where he turns his reception into bestowal. How do we achieve wholeness? By connecting the hearts, no heart can be complete by itself but by complementing one another, connecting, we suddenly feel it in this way there can be wholeness, why? Because each one is different but if we want to compliment one another then we achieve complementarity.

6. S. (26:10) First of all, we want to give thanks to you for this wonderful Congress and I wanted to relay to the question from before regarding all the feelings that are rising at this Congress. Such special sensations, so strong, it seems to me that we are like in some separate cell, in a separate cell, separate from all of the corporeality where the ego really can’t attack us. And what I’d like to ask you: can we reach such a state where we’ll be able to keep this force even in corporeality? What is actually turning off the sensation for us, why despite all of our efforts in unity it seems like it’s always running away from us?

R. It doesn’t slip away from us, it doesn’t elude us, we think we are in some desire, thoughts, intention, spiritual one on some level, and it suddenly it slips away. It doesn’t slip away, in addition to what we had, a new corrupt will to receive appears to us, it appears as being in us but it was concealed and now it is revealed. So on this addition we also have to put a correction and connect it to the intention to bestow. In order to bestow means connection between us; so it turns out the more we advance, our corrupt broken desires are revealed, awaken in each one, and we have to see how to connect them into connection between us. So don’t look at it as we keep getting rejection from the connections between us, no, we’re giving an opportunity to connect even more until we come to a real final connection.

S. So the fact that we’re falling into corporeality after these feelings?

R. Each one of us, each time falls, each time each one of us is in a fall and then in the more advanced rise, descent and an ascent to a more advanced degree, as such where all the time advancing, yes.

7. S. (29:43) You said we need to organize our feelings, how do we organize the feelings that emerge between fear and love in the work we do in the ten?

R. Only by connection, only by connection, there is no other possibility, no other possibility.

8. S. (30:33) This Congress is something new, we’re digging in and also horizontally, it is unbelievable, there are sparks, there is great joy from the lessons, from yesterday’s lesson. Yesterday you revealed to us the possibilities of our connection on the new level and hence the question, today is a new day and we come in the morning, we are tired, you don’t want anything, your heart is cold like ice. How in this new day do we achieve the same joy and perhaps even greater, how did we come to this again? How from the present state do we emerge and play even stronger so the whole world feels it?

R. This we can do only with mutual desire, that we have so many such friends in the world Kli who feel themselves now more tired, confused, not clear to them maybe where they need to reach. So now maybe you need to do a workshop between you and scrutinize: what do we need to do today, what is important today? How did we reach, how do we come clearer, closer to that same goal despite that we are tired and confused, you know a bit like in the fog. So please do the workshop. I’m not telling you to do it because you have somebody who is managing you, but they should hear this whether it’s worthwhile or not.

9. S. (32:51) You said that we must incorporate the friends in the ten to an extent that we can feel the response of the Creator, what does it mean in the ten, how do we become incorporated in such a way?

R. That you should feel that you are together, that you don’t need to divide into people, bodies, nothing. Rather that you are together and together you can decide one mind, one heart one, mutual sensation. That actually is the return to the structure of Adam HaRishon.

S. So what is it meant ‘to feel’, the reaction of the Creator in it?

R. That you will connect between you such that you don’t feel that there are bodies rather feelings between you, that within these feelings you will begin to feel that there is a foundation that is establishes you, that founds you, stabilizes you, and that’s called the Creator.

10. S. (34:22) “The Shechina is in the place of joy”, and we say the joy is a result and joy comes, pushes away the sadness. Those who are sad, should they first be happy in order to create this place even though, even if there is no connection?

R. This that we feel changes, both for the good and the bad, we need to be in joy for each and every change because a change is all ready for the better, for the good.

11. S. (35:11) You said that in the beginning of the lesson that the joy should be always the outcome of connection with the friends. And I have fear, I have extreme fear that tomorrow if I lose this sensation of connection, if I lose this feeling of joy inside the connection, what will happen? How to overcome this fear that I will lose my connection, this sensation that I feel now?

R. This sensation of fear that you will lose the sensation of connection with the friends, it, itself, holds you, corrects you and keeps you protects you, it is very good that you have it and then you’ll advance, don’t be afraid. The main thing is forward all the time, to greater and greater connection with the friends, that’s it. And along with this, there will be along with this in parallel the sensation of fear, that is the spiritual fear. And connect to it sometimes if you can as much as possible, fear from this that you are afraid to disconnect from the sensation and fear from this that if you disconnect, in this you were given sorrow to the Creator, that is already a higher fear.

12. S. (37:27) How do we build fear and joy from not disconnecting from the right intention?

R. Because you are not one rather many people and each one has such changes, fluctuations, to here and to there, and thus it will pass over you, don’t worry. Just like waves at sea they cannot be only in one direction rather in a few directions, there are small ones, big ones and so on, and this is how it will pass over it and it will be good.

S. And how do I know or how do we know that we are on the right path because joy and love can be something egoistic, you know, and it’s very easy to get confused?

R. It is only by this that you connect, you want to connect, you talk about it, how you can be together. That you will talk about it, that you will want it then you will find a solution. You cannot give us a solution for everything in life, you know, just like in our life.

13. S. (39:09) If I understand correctly, if you relates with joy to a person because this is what the Creator wants and the development of None Else Besides Him and there is no freedom of action on my part here, at the same time we have to maintain fear that perhaps I will not connect correctly to someone and complete something with my bestowal. So if I feel myself in this way toward any person and perhaps I don’t need to connect with anyone in specific?

R. When we look at children we can see that they can either laugh or cry, they can either be glad or sad, they are in two contradictory states, and we who are already grown ups and understand that we cannot really be one completely joy, laughter or the other one, sadness, absolute black sadness, but there are two various colors, shades in between them. In the same way, we have to establish states between us in the connection between us. So there are connections, there are disconnections and we constantly, constantly have to check how we come through connections to joy through disconnections to sadness, and in this way, we advance correctly. When we have both actions in the mind, physically, physical ones, and at the same time in the feeling.

14. S. (41:46) A question regarding the excerpt where it said that, “there needs to be emptiness out of which there will be filing”, so what is connected to the Creator in our group work, to search for this mutual emptiness or constantly ask?

R. You want to reach a state that we’re not looking at the vessel how much it is full or empty, rather how much it is in connection with the Creator, how much we give in our vessel room for fulfillment of the Creator, how much we are involving Him. Meaning to make an effort to scrutinize these states and such, get closer to the correct decision.

15. S. (43:02) We’ve had random tens throughout the Congress but we did feel a connection, how do we come to the real connection together?

R. Only by this, that you will annul the ego between you and decide that you must connect together.

Reading Excerpt #3 twice (47:05 – 48:24)

15. R. So what is he telling us? “Joy is the upper illumination, gladness is the upper illumination, upper light that comes from above and that brings us gladness but it’s revealed by MAN which is our work”. Meaning as much as we will appeal above, turn above and raise our prayers and our request, and our attitude to be connected with the upper force, then in correspondence there will come to us the upper illumination from above and it will be called ‘gladness’.

16. S. (49:12) Great fear, the closer we are the more resistance we feel, how do we turn it into joy and should we feel joy resistance, and how do we connect it to a burden?

R. I will give you some advice: try not to take into account anything from your friends, rather only the desire to rise, to ascend spiritually. That in each one of them there is a desire for the spiritual ascent and it doesn’t matter who is fat, skinny, black, white angry or pleasant, it does not matter. The main thing is that they have a desire for the spiritual ascent, for the connection with the Creator, that same desire from everything they have, only that same desire I need in order to connect with her. And then with that same desire we can rise to the Creator together, a bit in one degree and then another friend, and another friend and another friend, but only in the desire to adhere to the Creator.

All the other things I do not take into account because it’s all ego besides the small one desire, that’s it. Try to do such and you will see that if we are standing on this principle, it is not hard. And besides this that connect in such a matter, with the desires, that they are directed to the Creator, then ask from the Creator to help which is already directed at Him to draw us, to pull us. We want to be connected in such a matter between us in order to reach Him, together; so please take our group, in sum total what is the group? It is the small desires that are aimed at Him, the Creator.

S. Yes but what is the burden of the Kingdom of Heaven?

R. Oh, that surely will be no less more and more opposition to connect between us and to rise to the Creator because upon this opposition you attain even, even higher spiritual intensity. That is how it happens.

17. S. (52:29) What will I correct at my own state so I know I am in the right development, direction, can I control this?

R. I need just to think about the goal and how now I take another step towards it and I don’t make any calculations with all the different people, different things and states that are bothering me, no. Let them disturb me, I want to be there directed, aimed, connected with which raises me to the Creator and not what disturbs me. These disturbances, I need them because without them I wouldn’t turn into the Creator if there wasn’t disturbances. Disturbances specifically awaken me to turn to Him.

18. S. (53:54) We have very intense feelings in this Congress, the faces have been erased and we feel the hearts. The sensation of connection went beyond our ten, what do we do with this new connection beyond the ten? So we use it and how do we use it correctly?

R. You will learn it yourself, just take into account you today are in the second day of the Congress. You remember what the second day of the Congress means right? There comes tiredness after the first day where everything comes and excitement and this leap forward that we got to the Congress and we did everything to get there, and we did songs and meals and so on. Now we wake up after a short night and we don’t have so much mood, we don’t have that same energy that was yesterday, and then we do, we pass the time, everyone is half asleep that is how I feel on you.

You do not have that same burning fire like there was before, both men and women. And thus we need here an additional overcoming that we need to care that it won’t be like in every other place in the world. That here is the place, the opportunity to add an exertion and desire towards the Creator, that we do want, today, to take a step forward, an important step towards You. And this is the state that we need to do upon the tiredness, disturbances, confusions that each one of us has and all of us together, it is very important work.

19. S. (56:30) We have a question: if a person gets joy in the work, should he raise a prayer or what should he do so it’ll happen?

R. He needs to make an effort to be above his mood and above his mood he needs to depict to himself the group that he is now in in, this random temporary one, and to make an effort to draw from it as much energy as possible, force, mood, desire. And to raise this to the Creator for this temporary, for this entire temporary group he is with, and in such, advance, advance in such. That’s what I recommend.

20. S. (57:55) I would like to understand better the joy: is it the state that the Creator gives us so that when we come to raise MAN in the ten, when we succeed in this?

R. Yes, happiness can come from anything, the main thing is that happiness has to be the result of good deeds. What does it mean, if I can do something good then I am filled with joy, it’s not like it’s not that I myself have some happiness as a result of adhesion, that’s true adhesion, I am the source of the happiness, is it clear?

21. S. (59:53) How do we assure ourselves that the joy we feel comes from the upper light thanks to the work that we do in spirituality and not because of the will to receive that has the pleasure from receiving for itself?

R. This you will scrutinize in the group, everything in the group between yourselves, you have to really work on your relations and to see how much we are all only aimed at this one connection between us and with that to the Creator. This is something you have to do this way.

22. S. (01:01:03) During this convention we’re filled with feelings, we are truly experiencing wonderful feelings, we are annulling according to your guidance, we’re trying to connect above the differences between us and all of this causes us to want to hold on to this. So my question is what is the joy of Rav and how to connect to this?

R. My joy? My joy is when I look at you and I see you grow even if you don’t understand it. Like a baby, he doesn’t know he’s growing but his parents are looking at him and say. “look, look, he’s doing this already and that already”, but the baby is doing new things without feeling he is doing new things. But the parents see him and that’s how it happens, that’s how I look at you and that gives me joy.

23. S. (01:02:28) We’re gathered here in New York and in the different cities around the world, there’s so much love here that question is why? What is this warmth, why do all the crimes go away when we are with friends, what is this phenomenon?

R. When we bring the good desires closer between ourselves and we hide the bad desires, we even want to annul them but in the meantime we are hiding them, we can’t annul yet. Because later those same bad desires we will turn them to good ones.

First we are connecting in what we can, in the good desires, so this gives us joy, small joy, this joy is called the light of Hassadim, the light of mercy. Later on when we can use those bad desires that in the past we used to aim at each other like arrows, we can turn them to good and by that we are awakening even greater upper lights, the lights all of Hochma and Yechida, and this will yield great joy because then the Creator will be revealed completely.

24. S. (01:04:25) Can you please clarify from the excerpt what it means: “this state in which a person receives the light of the kingdom of Heaven forever”. Does this mean we can receive something?

R. If this is an action of bestowal it does work eternally, forever and we want to cling to that and collect such actions of bestowal more and more, like a bouquet that we’ll later serve to the Creator. And an action of bestowal, because it comes completely from the Creator, it is in wholeness and eternity just like He is.

25. S. (01:05:47) Can we say that if you feel joy in the spiritual work it is already a feeling of the Creator?

R. Yes, of course, all the good feelings if they come in the right way, meaning that not because we do something bad to someone else but in a good way, it all comes from the Creator, yes.

26. S. (01:06:29) It is great joy to be here with all the friends, with the whole, and it seems like this is the world we need to attain, but it also seems like here all the problems disappear, and here where we connect in this joy, the choice joy is between us and my question is: is it correct also in dissemination to talk about such a world in which we’re all going to be able to feel the joy and connection like we are feeling now?

R. The whole world should reach a state that they will be in joy from the connection between everyone and in addition from the connection with the Creator. This is the state of the end of Correction, after that there will be more ascents and more states we don’t learn or know about. Because all-in-all, we have to reach a correction of creation and once creation is corrected we rise to states above which we cannot speak now, we cannot describe them.

S. The fear that the vessel of love we need to build and what attitude, what relation is there between the connection in the ten and fear?

R. Without fear you can have nothing because we are made from the will to receive, from that matter, and without us being upon this will to receive and building ourselves above, without that we cannot build anything. That is why our whole building, the beginning of the building of our vessel, our effort, that is fear. Fear, lest I use the will to receive in order to receive, only to use it in order to bestow.

27. S. (01:09:16) We are twelve people here and we are going through many states, many new attainments and upon this it’s as if there is nothing to say. Is it more correct to discuss these feelings with the friends or to simply flow above it, just to float above it?

R. We need to understand that our future depends on the connection between us and the extent that we put pressure on ourselves to advance more and more, that is one thing. Another thing is how much we expand the dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah all over the world, this is a very important thing because as Baal HaSulam writes that all of the future depends on that. This is why you try to see what books we have for dissemination, try to disseminate them and you will see how much by that we will be able to draw more and more people into the connection between us and by that the world will advance towards correction. That is what I recommend.

28. S. (01:11:37) Is there something that we can do in order to diminish the sadness that a friend has now in the ten, is there something that we can now do?

R. Connect, in connection you can reach a state that all the bad and all the good, they divide between everyone and they get the right shape. It’s not that it dilutes, you dilute the good, you increase the good, but along with that you do dilute the evil, the bad, that is how it happens. That is why there’s this verse, that “the trouble of many is half consoling”, comfort.

29. S. (01:12:50) We too want to share with joy and gratitude that we have in our hearts for this convention and the organizers who managed to plan this whole thing this whole joy and the question, there’s a Godly feeling in this convention, is it worthwhile to try to decipher even intellectually in order to hold on to this joy?

R. We incorporate both the heart and the mind, that’s why we have to work with both, if all we have an emotion we won’t be able to go back to it but if the brain is connected to it is well then we can go back to that feeling and increase it, work with it, that’s why we have to try to be connected both in the brain and in the heart.

30. S. (01:14:12) Sometimes I feel like I don’t understand anything, I also feel like time is being wasted. It seems that the same states are starting over and over again. This bothers me deeply, what should I do to overcome the state?

R. You just need to understand that when we repeat things it’s never really repeating, you are never really in the same state for more than one second, every time all of these moments they accumulate and they come to be a greater account, a greater calculation, if you want to hasten time you have to increase your connection with the friends.

31. S. (01:15:21) We have a question about the excerpt we just read, where they say that we receive the illumination which is considered an upper illumination that is eternity, to what way do we have to the Kingdom of Heaven, is there a certain action or pray?

R. When we all connect and pray to the Creator to help us be together and connect it to Him, that’s first of all, that’s making a connection, later what do we want out of this connection, that too is something that you have to pray for.

32. S. (01:16:29) The question is how to go above reason above the states of joy and sadness, in justification of the Creator and protecting the intention to only go towards the goal?

R. A very good question, very big, global, and the answer is as we’ve learned just connect between ourselves and turn to the Creator with a prayer He will do everything He will connect us He’ll bring us closer and He will fulfill us. Everything is only by a common request from Him.

33. S. (01:17:39) My question, through the joy that the Creator’s disclosing in our hearts, we can change the reality of our friends and their problems?

R. If it should happen it will change.

34. S. (01:18:06) My question is if I am disconnected and feel sad, is it right to try and smile in order to change my mood and connect to the ten?

R. Of course you should, you will see how all these exercises affect your internality.

35. S. (01:18:58) Do we need to move from one state to another or two yearn to move from one state to another or does the Creator do it for us?

S. What’s the additional overcoming? Is it the prayer?

R. Anything you want to be in more connected hearts, in one heart and in this heart the Creator will be revealed, you want to serve the common heart to the Creator, to be revealed in Him.

37. S. (01:21:24) How to succeed sharing my joy with the ten because some things we have joy but we see that we’re missing that?

R. This depends on you, this depends on you.

38. S. (01:21:52) Sometimes the Creator disconnects our connection with someone from the friends. By me sending love even without just thinking good things about her, praying for the connection, can she feel that even if we don’t talk?

R. Yes.

If you’re not connected to your first ten, and here you’re not connected so for you it’s the same. R. 44. S. (01:31:42) We established a vast connection and joy with new tens and friends, how can we convey this to our own tens after the congress without losing it?

R. (01:34:20) According to what you said, for the future now we have had a long long time when we were really strict with the ten and if you were morning lesson with another ten or other women who couldn’t consider them as a ten, but for the future will every gathering with friends in lessons and meeting with your ten be considered as meeting with the ten?

R. Look, if you’re with us for years, you’re a veteran friend and I’m very happy to see you in this congress, we’ll examine that and we’ll see how it works. 46. S. (01:36:28) Is the joy a state that you’ll acquire collectively, then can we enjoy this joy unlimitedly or are there certain limitations for this joy?

R. You can enjoy it limitlessly. Enjoying joy that comes from connection there is no prohibition to that, enjoy it as much as you can.

47. S. (01:37:16) A question from a friend, what’s the connection between joy and gratitude and can there be one without the other and what does it mean to thank or to bless the Creator?

R. It’s hard for me to answer that it’s a complicated question, that’s one thing another thing is that, I think I have seen her today, why doesn’t she ask. So we’ll wait until her voice will heal and then she’ll ask me.

R. Look the second day of a congress even sometimes there’s a congress of three or four days but the second day we’re tired, that’s well-known, it’s always this way and for us this congress is two days and that’s also now you feel that, I hope soon this will pass we’re going to go to have a meal soon and then to some short event and rest, and afternoon we’llhave it’ll be like the 3rd and will wake up to a new day that’s what I think. But you really have to take into an account there that there are ascents and descents and we know that that we has created beings, we can’t stay in the state that the Creator is only in ascent.

That’s why we will go think through these things in a sense and a sense, and this is how we will come to correction, specifically because these ascents and descents we incorporate these things together and we also need to understand that what we are capable of doing in ascent, we do and what we can’t do, that usually comes to us in ascents that the Creator does ultimately it comes together both the defense and the ascent and we reach a full correction. 50. S. (01:44:29) How does Joy have such strength in internal work?

R. There’s nothing bad in the world only our ego which depicts for us bad things this way, where we see in still, vegetative, animate and even in speaking we see bad images, bad phenomena, how it is happening. We are drawing this, depicting this and we’re drawing it like an artist draws with our ego. The moment we nullify our ego we already are talking about the good, we see the good and we connect to the good. Therefore there’s no bad in the world, only within a person until he annuls his bad. Although with that it’s very difficult but in the group and in request from the Creator it’s possible.

51. S. (01:45:58) The ability to make my friends happy in the ten is the most complicated thing. I’m not always able to make the friends happy, how to do that?

R. I recommend in order to come to the group and delight the friends, to connect them together, to awaken them to connection, I recommend to first meet and talk with one or two friends and to create a certain connection with them and talk about the fact that we are doing this together. Because one is very difficult and there’s also a matter of not having enough confidence, I don’t exactly know how to do this and so on and so forth. But by me already feeling that I’m coming with a couple others to the ten, then I have more confidence and more forces. Try to do it that way.

52. S. (01:47:33) We all love the workshops in the Congress and we’re coming, heading towards the end of the lesson. Maybe we should have a workshop now?

R. Please. You have organizers, talk to them, let’s put up our organizers on the screen and talk to them and do whatever you want. I’m doing with you a workshop for 2 hours already, this whole lesson is like a workshop, questions, answers, question answers.

I recommend in such a state where people feel like you, such a good feeling for connection, to really go forward towards connection in your ten, in your permanent ten, in your temporary ten and the global ten. And by that you will discover that there, there the Creator is, and He is waiting for you, He’s expecting you. And then you will already come into contact with Him and I will be happy from guiding you to that meeting with the Creator.

54. S. (02:03:46) I joined morning lessons and meeting of friends but only in Congress I felt that I am not in the study. How can I always feel this?

R. I think that our lessons soon will become more and more like conventions, even every day because we will feel in them more and more of an inclination towards connecting and that it is more important than receiving some information or knowledge in our minds about different discernments that are in the wisdom of Kabbalah. Therefore it seems to be that you are right, that the tendency towards connection towards feeling the friends will be the main thing that we attain during the lessons, and all the lessons will be as a chain of workshops for connection until we reach the complete connection.

S. When I thank the Creator for that and there is also happiness from being with friends. What is the difference? Is one from our will to receive and the other from the will to bestow?

R. I need to be happy that the Creator is giving me a descent, since also the descents of course also come from the Creator. And I give thanks to the Creator for being in a connection with the friends, that I can rely on them and support and receive support by them. All these things help us more and more to be connected.
