Reading item #8: (02:25) Explains, “There are no Vessels Prior to Akudim. Akudim are regarded as the Ten Sefirot of the….”

Reading item #9: (03:44) “Inner Light Explains that They Couldn’t Tolerate it….”

1.S. (05:06) What does it mean that the reflected light acts against the refusal to receive?

R. Well, that all these actions bring the kli to receiving an order to bestow.

2. S. (05:27) What is the existence of Akudim?

R. There’s Akudim, Nikudim, Broidim. That there is one screen that can receive in order to bestow all the light that comes to them, that we call Akudim.

S. And then he says upper light could not clothe any vessel because he couldn’t tolerate it, what does it mean the vessel cannot tolerate the light?

R. There is no intention to bestow, that’s why it can’t receive like the guest and the host.

3. S. (6:11) What caused the light, the expansion of the great light to reach the phase of Akudim, what caused that? It couldn’t clothe any vessels because it says it didn’t clothe the vessel until the expansion of that great light reached the phase of Akudim. What caused the great light to reach the phase of Akudim? What caused the emergence of the world of Akudim?

R. There is a will to receive and there is a will to bestow to the Creator and there is a screen in between so we can receive in accordance to equivalence of form. That causes the reception of light in order to bestow. That’s where the reception of the light in the Partzufim begins. He has been studying with us for such a long time, so he’s asking something that we don’t understand at the moment, mabe write the question down and maybe we can better understand it. He is not one of those people who just ask for no reason. He is a serious friend.

Reading item #10: (08:10 ) Inner Light. “Until the Expansion of that Great….”

4. S. (09:10) What does it mean when he writes here that in the beginning Malchut raises the reflected light and then in the ten Sefirot of the Rosh that is going to the Toch they have no Malchut?

R. Well that’s like we learned that the Upper light comes from Keter to Malchut. Malchut doesn’t want to receive, she makes the restriction and reflected light. The reflected light goes back up upward and thus they build ten Sefirot of Rosh and then from the Rosh they divide the whole part of the will to receive below the Rosh to Toch and Sof. A calculation is made by the Masach how much they can equalize themselves with the Creator. This is called me for my beloved and my beloved is for me, how much one can bestow and return to the Creator that’s done inside the Partzuf and how much she cannot bestow to the Creator and that’s in the Sof of the Partzuf. Meaning it’s locked by the restriction.

S. It turns out that Malchut is the one that starts this process?

R. Of course, that’s what the Creator did. He wants Malchut the created being to determine the whole process.

5. S. (10:45) What is the world of Akudim? Where is the Rosh,Toch, Sof? Why is it called the world?

R. Akudim is considered that there is one Kli, one screen and receives one light. That’s why it’s called Akudim meaning bound, it’s bound connected. This will be revealed to us when we start to study Nikudim, then it will be clear to us what is Akudim. Akudim is very simple. I receive I have something in the Rosh, the head that I feel the host and what he’s giving me. I decide what I want to receive from him in order to bestow. I clothe the part that he wants to give me the reflected light. What I cloth with reflected light I take from the Rosh to the Guf into me. This form is called Akudim where I bind it in my intention in order to bestow.

6. S. (12:20) What’s the connection between Akudim and Malchut?

R. Akudim is the form of reception of the Upper light Malchut is in every place there’s a Malchut.

Reading item #20: (12:37) “Because Malchut in the Sof of that vessel.…”

Reading item #30: (13:16 )”Meaning that although Malchut of the Rosh also….”
