GRACE ON THE SECOND SHABBAT MEAL
BLESSING AND GRACE

The Torah, “Numbers” 6:22 – 6:26: The Lord spoke to Moses saying: Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying: This is how you shall bless the children of Israel, saying to them: “May the Lord bless you and watch over you. May the Lord cause His countenance to shine to you and favor you. May the Lord raise His countenance toward you and grant you peace.”
This blessing is said by the Cohanim (priests) on the Sabbath and on holidays. The Cohen (priest) is the most sublime attribute in a person, and if he is connected to the Creator who blesses him, it has a positive effect on all the other attributes a person has. This blessing corrects his whole internal structure and all his desires and intentions.
