2. S. (01:39) What is the special thing about the surrounding light to refine the coarseness of the vessels?
R. Surrounding light is the light that after the vessel has received a part of the upper light the part he could not receive remains outside. So that light presses on the Malchut and says keep receiving, keep receiving, Malchut can’t receive because it won’t be in order to bestow for the host but in order to receive. S. Baal HaSulam writes about Malchut, what Malchut is he talking about?
R. There is a Partzuf that has a nice Sefirot and Malchut is the tenth, she decides she wants to receive in those Sefirot and as much as she does not. R. This happens in each and every Partzuf, in all the cascading of all the Partzufim from Ein Sof towards Assiya, more or less the same process.

R. Of course all of our desires can be organized from root to phase four and of course that each and every Partzuf has all the desires and needs to sort out all of those desires and cover them with a screen, meaning with the intention to bestow and then to see in what desires he completely does not use and in what percent, yes.
15. S. (19:00) When the lower resembles the upper and he reaches it is there a gap still between them or do they become one?
R. The lower one that, again.

S. When Malchut is able to reach an action like Keter does that put it in a level which is even above Keter, isn’t that right?
R. I understand, yes, so?
S. I am simply trying to understand because when we I don’t know how to ask it, but it sounds as if when the created being reaches the Creator he is above the Creator, there is something new in him, he’s both our Creator and the created being.
R. Correct there is something about that, you are right, there is something there, but one thing everything the created being does it is the Creator doing upon him, that’s what he attains the Creator did it. Do you see? So do not be too proud.
16. S. (21:20) Can we compare the refinement of the screen, it’s like a higher frequency than a radio?
R. For now that is good, all of these examples are good.
S. It is written previously that in the refinement of this screen, the surrounding light bestows can we compare to the way the host offers you some dishes to eat?
R. Yes, that is possible if you speak about a desire it will be more clear, a higher desire, closer to the host and so on.
17. S. (22:21) About the refinement, it is very difficult to refine and now you are saying that with only your efforts you then see that the Creator did everything, so what is our work here?
R. You make efforts in order to discover that the Creator did everything. Eventually that is how it is.
18. S. (23:01) Malchut was refined from the coarseness in it, tell us, what is this work, what should we do? Meaning it depends on us, right, it is not something that is imaginary, this is in our daily work we should do that so what does it mean that Malchut was refined from the coarseness of phase four in her?
R. You identify with the Malchut and as much as you can do actions like the Keter.
S. What does that mean in the group? What is it?
R. The will to receive should take the work of Keter upon itself or it entirely wants to bestow in order to bestow.
S. What is the daily work?
R. It is the daily work.
