Reading Chapter 1 Item 4: (00:18) “There are four phases of the coarseness of the upper light …”
1. R. (01:01) Meaning that there’s a matter of transferring the light from the Creator to the lower ones, that’s why on the way the light has to be weakened otherwise the created beings that are below opposite of the light can’t tolerate it. As he writes, I can’t tolerate it.

3. S. (05:16) What is each Partzuf, and world has its own emanator, it’s Ein Sof?
R. Because there isn’t something called Ein Sof, that’s how we call it towards us according to our attainment, just as we have words adjectives everything we turn to is from our will to receive, that’s why everywhere we are towards us what we want to attain we measure that difference also towards Ein Sof, Infinity what does that mean? It’s like something that doesn’t have limits and that’s what the created being determines it’s not like there’s some kind of place in space or somewhere that, the created being determines this term for himself, and obviously in each and every created being this term Ein Sof changes.
S. For us the concept of Creator that which is close to us, what is that?
R. It’s whatever you depict to yourself, it’s the same Upper force it has a root towards you and he’s aiming towards you everything you get in your life.
4. S. (07:00) He’s describing here a state here of coarsening, where something becomes coarser and before that we talked about the refinement of the screen, is it something opposite?
R. It doesn’t have anything to do with one another, that’s it.
5. S. (07:17) What’s the difference of how the light passes through Bina and how it passes through the Zeir Anpin, it says it passes through Zeir Anpin only through a narrow passage. What’s the difference between a narrow passage and a broad passage?
R. The light that goes to Bina is the light of Hochma that is in Bina because of the oppositeness of the desire between Hochma and Bina, that’s how it changes, it goes from Ohr Hochma to Ohr Hassadim that light of mercy. The light in Zeir Anpin doesn’t really change itself to that extent, it only awakens inside it that Upper root which was the light of Hochma that went through Bina and got the qualities of Bina and now in Zeir Anpin it awakens inside it again the root of Hochma in Zeir Anpin and that’s why we get two lights in Zeir Anpin, the light off Hochma in the light of Hassadim.

6. R. (14:48) Far, meaning towards the light of Hochma.

7. S. (17:38) What does it mean here that the screen of the Upper that the lower one is incorporated in is called a window?
R. There are all kinds of types of ways the light enters, so there’s the windows there’s the foreman and there’s a new foreman, they show the ways of equivalence between light and vessel, so we say when the light enters there’s a door and we say all kinds of things, it just shows the way the light resembles the vessel.
8. S. (18:28) Baal HaSulam says, “and the matter of the coarseness of the light he sees a great light, but he won’t be able to tolerate it unless it’s through distancing or a screen.” What does it mean that we cannot tolerate this light that’s being revealed?
R. Because it’s the light of bestowal, that’s why it’s not allowed for you to see it or feel it because it’s opposite for what you want. You want the light of reception and the light of the bestowal you don’t want, that’s why in order to take care of you there was a restriction.
S. Actually what helps in this excerpt…
R. You don’t remember what’s written? In that in order to save the created being from the separation and so on the restriction what took place? What is that restriction? The restriction that you won’t feel as much as you are opposite of the Upper light because it’ll harm you to such an extent that you won’t be able to tolerate it, not it, not the Creator, not the wisdom of Kabbalah, nothing, that’s why the restriction took place upon everything, and you think that you’re getting closer and soon and so on and so forth.
S. What actually is done is we make bigger screens in order to tolerate?
R. Yes, yes that’s why in such a long way and gradually you advance to a state that you’ll be able to tolerate the quality of bestowal, that to such an extent that you will want to be in that quality of bestowal and then to that extent you’ll reveal how close you are to the Upper light.
S. Now during our period of time in the sixth millennia is there more light and less screens or the opposite?
R. It depends towards who.
S. Towards the world, towards..
R. Towards the world it has concealment and still surrounding light is working on it more.
S. Meaning there’s seemingly more light that’s being revealed in the world?
R. Surrounding light.
S. Surrounding light, there’s more light? We’ll get to the end of correction because of that?
R. No, the surrounding light does not bring you to Gmar Tikkun. We will need to change an order to go through these corrections and then according to our correction we will resemble the light of bestowal because our vessel will also be in bestowal and then the light can fill the vessel.

(24:24) Meaning that phase four does really want to receive but there is a coercion on it the screen that’s before it and not letting the light phase four because then she’ll receive an order to receive because phase four is really the true will to receive that is in all of reality in the created being.
R. I think we’re done with this chapter, that was chapter one and now chapter two that’s explaining the four worlds so that we will already start learning tomorrow.
11. S. (25:46) Questions from The Freedom. In what is our corporeal environment capable of influencing our spiritual environment?
R. As much as they come closer and want to receive spirituality from a spiritual environment towards a corporeal environment it will be good for them and in this way they’ll also add desires to the spiritual environment, that the spiritual environment can correct those desires and through them bestow to the corporeal environment. That’s the connection between two degrees, spiritual and corporeal.
12. S. (26:45) How do we examine whether we’ve created an environment in a healthy and a good way spiritually?
R. According to the extent that we can connect, to the extent that we can connect, to that extent we can check whether we’re in spirituality already or not.
13. S. (27:16) How does my attitude to the environment influence the influence of the light upon me?
R. To the exact same extent of the intensity that I am devoted to the environment, so through the environment I receive from the Creator of the Upper light, also that correct me and also that fills me.
14. S. (27:51) How can the choice of the environment and None Else Beside Him combine, integrate together?
R. As much as I improve my environment, I can’t choose a new environment every time, there is no such thing, that’s called the choice of the environment that every time I raise my environment more and more, cause it to rise, and not that I change my friends, as much as I do it I make efforts and by that we advance, let’s say that’s our work to spiritual advancement.
15. S. (28:47) We all think that we are advancing towards the revelation of the Creator and the implementation of the revelation of the Creator, how to make them in ourselves that we are truly every day in the place of Torah or how will we identify a place that does not have Torah?
R. As much as we want to come close between us, the friends, we feel that we can’t and we demand for help from above, and we receive help from above as the Upper light that corrects us, brings us closer between us and the Creator and according to that we advance.
16. S. (29:32) It seems like the environment of a modern person is the worst possible environment for spiritual development, hatred is celebrating, and the world is flooded with diversions, whereas in the past people lived in nature and were suffice with very little? Why is it arranged this way? How do we overcome the disturbances and rush the correction?
R. To yearn to connect, there’s nothing more than that before there wasn’t any necessity to connect, that’s why people were more connected to nature, still, vegetative, and animate and today when they need to organize and in connection between you that’s why they are in the society of the speaking person.
17. S. (30:33) Questions from TES: Are the actions that TES is describing taking place only in a person who’s taking place only in corrections or in every person? Can we also feel these operations, these actions?
R. Only in a person who advances through corrections in the group will those actions take place in him but only in someone in a group.
18. S. (31:03) What does it mean that there’s no judgment, no Dinim in it?
R. No judgments, that the will to receive doesn’t disturb it.
19. S. (31:16) What does it mean that Atzilut illuminates Ein Sof without any screen or distancing?
R. Just like the true light that comes from the Creator appears in the world of Atzilut.
