Connecting into One Ten – Selected Excerpts from the Sources

1.Rav’s Introduction: Yes, we are always talking about the fact that we are basically one ten and reality itself is not divided but it is only according to the one who attains; that’s how he sees things according to his perception. To the extent that we change our perception, this is why our work is called the wisdom of Kabbalah, which means how to improve this perception of reality until we discover it fully. This is why today we have a few excerpts where we speak about one soul, one light, one state that we’re drawn to, and let’s try to understand it more and to realize it between us. Everything is connected and it’s clothed in the connection between us alone, the internal connection. The more we understand, feel, and implement it, it’s considered that we are advancing to the final correction.

Excerpt #1 (02:07) “We have to know that all the souls….”

2. R. (02:51) This means that the state that is called one Kli, one vessel, with all its vessels connected together into one system, this is called the soul of Adam HaRishon. Before the shattering, before the sin, the light that fills it is the light of Ein Sof, unlimited. This is called the light of the Neshama, the soul of Adam HaRishon. Later for the created beings to come out of there and for them to be able to attain their state and to change their state according to their own free choice, and to feel themselves existing rather than completely annulled to the light of Ein Sof that fills the vessel of Adam HaRishon; that’s why this state has distance, distanced itself from the state that was the perfect state. It divided itself into many parts and that action is called the sin of the tree of knowledge or the sin of Adam HaRishon.

That whole Kli, that desire that used to be in harmony and equivalence of form with the upper light, with the force of the Creator that filled it, that state has already changed. The desire itself divided into many parts; we say 600,000 parts. the light that used to fill that one soul has been divided accordingly into many lights, sparks. That’s why it was even before we can identify it. Eventually when you develop from below upwards you attain the state from which we have been made, created, where we came down from, and that’s what we have to reach. so what does Rabash write here? We have to know that all the souls extend from the soul of Adam HaRishon. For after he sinned in the sin of the tree of knowledge there was a certain event that happened to him. His soul divided into six hundred thousand souls.

This means that the one light that Adam HaRishon had in this state called Garden of Eden that he had all at once, it spreads into many pieces that state, that vessel. That light divided into many many parts and every part has its own desire, own fulfillment, own attainment. These parts now need to identify themselves and to start to move towards a connection of the parts themselves. Also accordingly the light will increase, that light that fills those parts that are established together. We realize that by wanting to communicate, to connect with our tens, each one to his ten and then from the tens to hundreds. Meaning to connect more and more and more until we again come to the soul, the vessel called the vessel of Adam HaRishon, and we reach a state where there is one vessel and one light, as it was to begin with prior to the shattering.

By the division we attain the personal forces of each one, in mind and heart, that’s what we call it and we get some stabilization, we get some identification, identity, for each and every one. When we connect we connect according to our demand, our desire, our request, our effort, our exertion. Then as we connect already even as we connect those pieces remain. It’s only that from being distant, from being opposite they become the coarseness between us that we actually use with mutual bestowal, mutual connection above all the pieces, all the broken pieces. Then that vessel that is reconnected gets a few times more or many times more intensity than it had before. Previously it didn’t know it had a desire to connect, a desire to unite, a desire to bestow each other. Specifically through the shattering it acquires the conditions by which it can obtain the qualities of the Creator, the connection, the disposition towards connection, participation, Arvut.

This is why we have to see the shattering of the vessel of Adam HaRishon, what we call the sin of the tree of knowledge, we have to see that as a big correction that’s preparing our entire path to attain this one unique force that exists in reality which is the Creator. When we through this connection of all the pieces by our exertion, by our participation, by this we actually acquire the qualities of the Creator, and we start to understand in each action of connection, we start to understand His nature. As much as this thing sounds high and special it is something we can do. That’s all thanks to the sin of the tree of knowledge, the sin of Adam HaRishon that was prepared for us from above.

3. S. (10:57)  How do we attain that first initial state from which we came down?

R. The state from which we have descended from is something that we attain in the end. Because it’s the state where we were all attached together to one vessel, one light filling us. This state for us is the final point of development in our correction called the final correction. That we attain in the end, but we are drawn to that state in each and every moment and we try to keep it.

S. How do we try to implement it every moment?

R. This is what we learn by the rules of the group. Even in a corporeal manner to the extent that we observe this tendency to be as one man in one heart, love your friend as yourself, all of Israel are friends, etc. By all these rules all we do is bring ourselves back to be as one. This is what the entire humanity wants it or not, understand it or not, that is why it‘s connecting and it’s coming close to that. Look at what’s going on in the world. In our eyes we don’t see what is going on, that the purpose is connection, actions of connections are occurring between all the broken pieces. There is no moment or an action in humanity both in the general and in the particular, any particular part, that is not for the sake of connection and all the different parts are moving towards the final state.

4. S. (13:26) When you talk about having to return to the feeling of unity in the soul of Adam HaRishon, you see that we feel the pleasure in everything you said much more strongly. What does it mean to feel it much more? Do we have some nature with which to feel it, or do we have to build the vessels?

R. Yes, because we have to connect despite and against this force that rejects called the evil inclination. If we overcome it and we connect, we have a connection upon the rejection. These two forces actually help us. They give us the conditions to reveal the force of connection, the force of the Creator. We need both the force that rejects, the will to receive that exists in each and every created being and it is in the foundation of the Partzuf, the spiritual Partzuf, and the force of connection, the upper nine, the force that connects these parts by the upper light. This is how we build a system which is entirely incorporated of two opposite forces but one upon the other and to the extent of the tension between these two parts we discover the upper, light the nature of the Creator. This is how we can as create beings discover a quality that the Creator has that’s by nature, only because there are two opposite parts, two dispositions, forces, qualities. We by the collision between them, specifically by the collision, by placing them one opposite the other we can discover both the coarseness and the purity, the Aviut and the Zakut, both the rejection and the connection. That’s how we discover the nature of the created being against the nature of the Creator. That’s how we attain as the advantage of the light from the darkness our work, these two forms of nature. If all there was the Creator who could attain it? By being the opposite of Him, making all kinds of efforts to discover Him upon this oppositeness, by this we have the opportunity to attain Him. That’s why whoever is greater than his friend in attainment, it’s because his inclination is greater.

5. S. (17:08) You always directed our efforts in connection into the ten and we are beginning a new topic of uniting in the ten. Does it prove that we’re ready to make more practical efforts to connect in the ten or not?

R. Yes, ultimately we all have to connect to one ten, the Creator created only one ten. He divided more for us to have it easier to attain all the laws of creation, the essence of creation, fulfillment of creation, etc. But ultimately we go back to that one ten which is called the soul of Adam HaRishon. This is why we should think that along with how much each one is working in his ten in order to connect that ten into one, that’s the way we should act in each and every ten, so that all of us can connect into one ten. That’s all. All in all the system itself is simple. The problem is it goes against our desire, against our nature and that’s why we cannot feel these things directly as they are, but that also comes closer.

S. So do you recommend that we meet among the tens more frequently?

R. I cannot tell you how many times you have to meet between yourselves but nonetheless, I do recommend meeting, but how many times I cannot say because it can cause confusion; when because of too many meetings you are going to lose the flavor of the meeting, the purpose of the meeting, so there is quantity and quality here that may be in contrast. That’s why I cannot tell anything to everyone, not even to some personal group. Every ten has to think about it and decide. That’s not once forever. Once every few weeks you can decide how many times you are going to meet. That’s it.

6. S. (20:13) What exactly is the sin that caused the Creator to divide the soul of Adam HaRishon into 600,000 pieces?

R. The Creator created the evil inclination and inserted into it the upper light and according to that will to receive the upper light divided into many parts, that’s all. We cannot learn more than that because at the moment we don’t have emotions for this, for the data.

7. S. (24:12) Will the vessel of Adam HaRishon ever clothe in all of humanity?

R. Of course. What is your question, how can it be in any other way? When? In the final correction. 

S. But did it happen in the past?

R. Prior to the sin of the tree of knowledge.

S. On their axis of time can you describe when it happened? When exactly did it happen, at what stage of humanity?

R. Before the sin of the tree of knowledge, before the will to receive erupted and all the will to receive exploded into many pieces, souls, and sparks of souls. And that’s how it exists until today. After we reconnect mainly these things to one Kli, as we say as one man in one heart, we will discover we’re all in one desire, one soul.

S. My question is in human history when did it happen? Can you tell us the state where it really clothed?

R. I don’t know, history is not in the framework of our study. If you want to learn history go to the university. There is no history here you have to rise above time and space and start feeling reality, which is above time and space, and then you will see when it happened. Meaning at what conditions it happened. Not when according to the time axis, there is no time in spirituality. That is why your question has no room, it doesn’t exist.

S. I’ve heard several times that we came from a state called connection of Adam HaRishon where once we were connected and then we broke apart.

R. Suppose this is so, okay.

S. I’m trying to understand when exactly was there such a state in a practice that clothed in humanity?

R. Again in the question you are asking..

8. S. (27:04)  We learn that there is a rule that the spiritual root touches the corporeal branches at least once right?

R. Certainly in the spiritual root we were all in one desire. 

S. So when was the sin?

R. There was no time. What do you mean when? There was no time, it was before all the matter had been formed. Our world also exists only in our perception. If you think humans can attain something and it seems to them that they attain each other, if you take this illusion you will see that there is nothing. There is no distance or space or humans or this whole matter. I cannot talk this way because it’s going to confuse people.

9. S. (28:14) What is the reason for the breaking of Adam ha Rishon?

R. Adam HaRishon broke because he had the will to receive that was formed in him more than they will to bestow that he had from creation. That is why its pieces exploded and distanced from each other. It is like an explosion and this action is called the sin of the tree of knowledge or the sin of Adam HaRishon, there is no sin here or anything, but he had no choice. Also Adam HaRishon, what is that? That is the root of our existence, but it is not that there was a certain person. We discover the desires in each and every one of us and to what extent what is important to us is to attach ourselves, to connect ourselves so that we will once again make our … only in a corrected way as it seemingly was prior to the shattering.

10. S. (29:56)  Is it the boy who gives the illusion of the separation from the soul?

R.  It is not our bodies to blame; my biological body doesn’t do anything; it is a beast. By bodies we talk about the will to receive that is now only in order to receive for itself and by that it doesn’t want to feel others, it doesn’t take them into account, and this is called the shattering. The desires are distant, opposite, antagonists of each other.

11. S. (30:53) To complete the French question. Why specifically the will to receive? Why is it called, what is the connection of knowing something and the fact that there is a breaking?

R. Before that we have nothing and after that we will make the plus and the minus, the darkness and light, the reception, and the giving in a certain mechanism between them and from that you get the Daat, the reason, the attainment and the right connection between darkness and light, perception and giving yields the feeling of Daat for us to understand, to attain the state we are in.

12. R. This is what happened to us. We used to be connected and in many matters we cannot even imagine how it was. Never we will have such a thing and then later by the will to receive that it was revealed in each and every part that was separate from the others, the distance between all the parts have been revealed and this mutual distance that was made is like we sometimes see in movies an explosion of a star where everything breaks and become small pieces and all these different directions, that’s how our desires have dispersed from one desire. If we despite the force that separates us we connect ourselves together and we have all the conditions for that, for us to connect, then we connect with that force that separates, and these forces the separator and the connector these two forces act as coarseness in the general Partzuf  we make up together and the purity in that same Partzuf. Within these two parts we attain the Creator, the origin of these two forces. That’s basically the purpose of our development. There are many souls, we have to connect them into one soul. When we are connected by your own hands neither in our thoughts or in action only by the tendency towards that. To the extent that we between ourselves we want it to happen, that’s what we call the connection of the heart.

13. S. (35:58)  What is the difference between light and a broken part with respect to none else besides him and the whole system that produces none else besides him? What are the fundamental differences between these two perceptions?

R.  The fundamental difference is the difference between one part of the corporeal body and the rest of the body. It cannot attain all the work, all the actions of the whole body and accordingly it is with all the actions of the Creator.

14. S. (36:39) In the case of two friends engaging in love of friends and getting an answer from above and connecting. From what is the connection between the friends made?

R. From mutual bestowal.

S.  But it’s not like in the body where we have nerves and different vessels. What is the matter?

R.  Desire. The spiritual matter is desire. It’s got nothing to do with our biological body, that’s a beast that is unrelated to all the spiritual activities. You can do whatever the spiritual actions and great corrections that you want and then what? They will come to you and check through some medical examinations and see that you are a special person because you make corrections? Nothing will happen or it will be forbidden to take apart from your body and put it in somebody else’s body? No.

S. But it is not some specific desire, with this desire I connect to my friends. Is that all my desires connected to my friend or what?

R.  To the extent that we connect between us. It is still ahead of us; we won’t be able to grasp it.

15. S. (38:18) Rav, you spoke about the shattering of the soul of Adam ha Rishon, is that related to the Big Bang? 

R. No, there is no connection to our world. Stop dreaming about all kinds of parallel things that happen here and spirituality. It is in a completely different dimension; this is a spiritual dimension. I don’t recommend you get confused.

16. S. (39:07) Was it impossible to increase that deficiency without the shattering?

R. No, the answer is simple no. The deficiency itself will not be born was it not for the shattering.

S. Why is it called the sin? The sin is like the man made the sin.

R. Because it is an act that is made against connection and connection is the highest spiritual thing, anything less than that is called a sin.

S. Thank you I got you.

17. S. (40:00) How through connection when with the others we attain the reason of this common body?

R. We are made of contradictory things and when we connect to contradictory things this is called attainment.

S. Suppose that we have an opposition between me and the friends in the ten. How through the  connection I attain the intellect of this initial body?

R. By connecting parts that are specifically contradictory between them by this you extract by what they have in their foundation in the basics and how they are now connecting between one another between the minus and the plus you get a result that is called attainment.

S. Between the minus and the plus we attain something else.

R. Attainment, our attainment in the ten. At first one is for, and one is against and if we connect them then between the two we discover the attainment. How should I put it? It is a thought, it is something that doesn’t exist in the substance of rejection or attraction but by bringing them closer, the attraction and the rejection, you elicit from them, the essence, the higher root from which both rejection and attraction come.

S. In a connection between us there is always what we feel. What is revealed is only always the plus and minus when we are trying to connect. How do we come out to this basis, the third party , the essence?

R. Only by wanting to connect the two of them and this action is called, or operation is called faith above reason and then we come to a state which still doesn’t exist in us. It is spiritual, it is above us but by trying and trying and trying to connect contradicting things that have no reason to connect, that cannot possibly connect because these two forms of nature are opposite but if we want them to connect a third force comes from above and resides between them and connects them and in this way we rise to the degree called above reason. This is how we advance. We are approaching it gradually bit by bit.

18. S. (43:35) The shattering of the soul and its correction: what does it empathize with, the uniqueness of the created being or of the Creator?

R. The breaking of the soul only shows us how the Creator goes against all his own principles, his own laws, his own nature, and he did this act of shattering so that precisely as we go through it from the shattering to the connection we attain him. We rise above the degree of the beast, from the degree of even in existence, from lack of existence to existence because in the connection we attain, we build a new reality. It’s not that we build it, it is the Creator that he built it but according to the deficiencies, the tendencies, our desire to go against our natural desire.

S. What is the place that the Creator clears for the created being at the end of the correction of the soul because he goes to there is no one else besides him.

R. It is not again. We were never there, there is none else besides him and now we are making none else besides him. This is called you have made me; this is something else. The fact that we are here read from kabbalists who attain it but when I myself come to attain it and see that there are no other forces in nature only the Creator. That’s something else.

S. So, it becomes a common existence of the Creator and the created being?

R. Yes, yes.

19. S. How about the shattering, we learned that the Creator does everything? He created, he planned and still the shattering of the soul is from the sin of Adam ha Rishon. It is if he passes this action to our hands, the correction is in our hands. What is the purpose of this action of shifting this shattering on us?

R. He didn’t shift this shattering on us, he gives us an initial state where we can exist and from that state to begin to correct ourselves, our nature which he created in a sin, a will to receive. For us to come to a state where we are corrected, that’s it. There is nothing special about it.

20. R. The desire, the body is the desire. Yes you know they’re words you know their designs that you’re in to attain the Creator.

21. S. It says in the article that one’s soul depends on the whole of Israel, and I just remembered that I’m always trying to keep my connection in a very careful way. It doesn’t matter if the person is closer or further. I feel that I have to keep my connections in a form of bestowal by only this way I can sustain the feeling of the Creator. So, if I even cannot overcome, even one … of hate inside the connection that is missing that possibly is not …. So does it mean this action? By depending on Israel.

R. Yes, we have a problem with the definition of Israel. We have learned more than once that the concept of Israel was born in ancient Babylon where there were basically representatives of all the nations of the world. He wanted to organize them into a religion where Abraham’s father Terah taught them how to build this kind of idols, statues and to bow before them etc. 

Abraham went against his father. He broke the statues. the idols and began to reveal what he had discovered in the world about nature. That there was a force, and that force is immaterial, that is higher than matter, than the still, vegetative and animate. It is a spirit, and that force is godliness. This is the force that organizes all of creations and men’s task is to rise above the still, vegetative, and animate materials from which we are made and begin to obtain this spirit. This is why from here comes the word spirituality. We want to attain the spirit and the one who followed Abraham, not many people did, not many. Although my Maimonides writes that many, many thousands join them but that is still only a fraction of Babylon. They were called Israel, straight to the Creator and till this day it is the same although the spirit is now gone, the purpose is gone even for those who call themselves Israel the descendants of that group that connected to Abraham. That’s the way it is still to this day that those who come from that group and also belong to that direction correctly, the spiritual direction they are called Israel. Those who don’t place before them that goal of revealing that singular force that governs this person in the world they are not called straight to the Creator, Israel. Humanity is confused with this and sometimes I tried to explain it, but they don’t get it so let’s leave it as it is. The time will come when they begin to ask and maybe it’ll be possible to explain. But we understand.

22. S. (56:59) If the Creator is going to make this he broke into one piece again is the Creator still going on to create on from creation?

R. The Creator complements creation according to our request. To the extent that we ask to that extent the Creator performs correction. He corrupted the creation, and he corrects it according to our request. That’s it. There’s nothing for us to do but only to detect those places where we want the good force of connection to appear and ask of him. We need to do two things either to identify the bad and ask for the bad to be corrected. That’s it.

23. S. (58:08) What is the body and what is the soul?

R. If we are talking biology or zoology then it’s as in our world, let you ask a doctor or a veterinarian: what is the body? The body is the flesh, flesh-and-blood, if you ask about the soul, it will tell you that it  might be the same force that sustains the body, that sustains the flesh, keeps it alive. And if that force disappears from the flesh, the flesh stops functioning. So within the physical actions there is a force that vitalizes, that sustains the body, the physical body; and if that force disappears, the body dies, what it is, doctors don’t know and we explain it in the ways possible to explain it.

S. So I heard you say that the body is a desire?

R. In spirituality, we call the body ‘desire’, because we do not intend the body that we perceive with our physical senses: the still, vegetative and animate.

S. So the body is the will to receive that was created?

R. Yes.

S. What is the soul?

R. The soul is the force of bestowal that can exist within that body.

S. It is like that point in the heart or something like that?

R. The force of bestowal that is within the will to receive, if it is revealed it is called that ‘the soul was revealed in it’. It’s the common name, the general name., you have Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, Yechida, we call it by a general name, the soul, Neshama.

S. What is the connection to the soul of Adam HaRishon, between that and the Guf, the body.

R. The soul of Adam HaRishon is basically all of the creation which was connected and operates entirely according to the rules of bestowal, this is the soul of Adam Harrison. Why is it called Neshama, soul? Because they were all connected in acts of bestowal upon each other.

S. What is Israel within the soul of Adam HaRishon?

R. Within Adam HaRishon, each part that yearns to achieve, to reach connection with others in order to, thereby, reveal the common force of creation that is called the Creator, that part is called Yashar El, ‘straight to the Creator’, according to its propensity, inclination, or ‘Israel’, to reveal the Creator.

S. Are there souls outside of Israel in Adam HaRishon?

R. No, no, from where? The will to receive which is in an intention to bestow upon the others and therefore can connect with them, this is called ‘Israel’ because by this it wants to connect with them and reveal the force that sustains them, revitalizes them.

S. It’s just that I’m trying to understand what the connection of Adam HaRishon is to as you described it when you said about Abraham, the beginning of Israel. What is the connection between the shattering of the soul of Adam HaRishon and Abraham?

R. Adam HaRishon is not Adam, a person, he’s not one of us, a human being. Adam HaRishon is a system that the Creator created. It’s the prototype for all of us. Abraham is already a person who lived in a special time, and he had a special task which is why he is called “Abraham”, that the father, the Avraham(?), the father of the nation, he is the origin of the nation that is called Israel, a group that is connected with its intention to attain the Creator, Israel, Yashar El, straight to the Creator.

24. S. (01:03:20) What’s our relation that should be for every friend to his own ten so that it will  help him to feel the general body?

R. Connection, what can I answer? It is so obvious. If I come to a state where I am connected to my ten with an open heart, I feel that system as mine, that it is mine, and within that system I feel even all creation, all the souls, all the worlds, everyone, the Creator Himself.

S. Why when such a connection exists why does it give contentment to the Creator?

R. Because by this we become equal to Him, we are called “Adam”, similar to Him.

25. S. (01:04:21) It feels that the soul is like the child of a person that the person has to protect his child, to feed his child, take care, grow, can we say it this way?

R. Yes, you could.

S. So in the state that I also feel that there’s hunger for the light, maybe I cannot explain my discernment but it’s like a lust, it’s like a sexual desire, the soul is yearning, and hunger is like a thirst, and I want to constantly for the Creator to shine on me.

R. Excellent, excellent, so what? Go ahead, go ahead.

S. I can eat and drink all day and I’m not filled; my stomach is still empty. I have hunger.

R. First of all, thank the Creator for giving you such a desire. Say ‘thank you very much’ to Him, and second ask Him how you can realize the desire, fulfill it, to teach you, and then do it.

26. S. (01:05:57) First of all I want to embrace our friend from Turkey Four, I’m so impressed by his questions. My question is about something many ask, the matter of Adam HaRishon and the general form. I remember in the past, a few years ago, Rav talked about the general form of Adam HaRishon, how every group is there spiritually. You drew this, I’m not asking you to draw it again but maybe you can present it for us, so it’ll be easier to understand this?

R. I don’t understand what you want, can you use fewer words and get more to the point?

S. In the past, Rav, you drew a picture of the general body and the soul of Adam HaRishon: where Israel is, where the nations of the world are?

R. I do not remember drawing such a thing, I don’t remember drawing these things. Maybe you can go to the archive and look it up, and I’ll try to explain it.

S. Okay I will look for it.

R. I don’t think there was such a thing.

Excerpt # 6 (01:07:27 – 01:09:06) “The root of all the souls above..” Twice

27. R. (01:09:08) In other words, all the divisions into Partzufim and lights and all those parts is to have the possibility to attain the Creator in as general a way as possible, and as detailed a way as possible together.

28. S (01:09:28) You said that we should discover two things: to acknowledge evil and to correct  the evil, to do two things. How can I identify evil, how can I reveal it and who do you ask the Creator to correct, to correct me or to correct my friend? My friends are corrected, and I can’t correct myself.

R. First of all I don’t understand from where you take these things. I want to connect with the friends and everything that’s revealed between us, I want to scrutinize what disrupts our connection because by this I correct the vessel of Adam HaRishon which the Creator gave to me, He gave me this vessel. The Creator gave me this vessel so I will correct it, and this is my ten. You don’t do anything else besides this; if you connect to a state where you are connected with them and there’s no distance between us, no separation, so I come to the end of Correction because during my word with the ten I also began to discover how the whole world is including this ten. How the ten absorbs all the forces and all the conditions of the world, everything is present in the ten in the end, there is nothing more. And then I basically know this is all I need to do. I think that if we position these things truthfully and not run away from them, then I will constantly feel the then and through the ten I can look at everything that happens in life and then I am certain to advance correctly and correct myself step by step.

29. S. (01:11:56) By this excerpt, it says that “all of man’s work is to draw light from thousands to hundreds” What is that?

R. Because the whole world in the end connects in me into one ten.

S. How to depict it?

R. Think for the time being it’s not that relevant for us but afterwards we will see how the whole world gathers, becomes compressed more and more. The same thing is happening now, look what is happening in the world, look how the world becomes more compressed, more condensed and is coming into a system that is quite concrete.

S. But it’s attained by connecting in the ten?

R. Yes, yes by wanting to connect everyone into ten, into one in the ten, I build myself in such a way that all of reality becomes to me present in that ten. Afterwards we will discover the whole universe, everything, the whole universe that it’s also in the ten.

30. S. (01:13:28) I cannot yet understand what gives, what the shattering gives us, what correction it gives that you couldn’t do without that, the shattering of Adam HaRishon?

R. Through the shattering we’re discovering a state that is ‘anti’ the Creator and by putting together, assembling the shattering into one, we’ve built him, so to speak, it’s as if “you have made Me”.

S. Wasn’t there this anti-Creator before the shattering?

R. No, why?

S. Because all the corrections that were before?

R. What corrections happened before the breaking?

S. Not corrections but everything that was created that eventually became Adam HaRishon, the whole process was a process of two contradictions between the Creator and the created being.

R. I think you have a huge confusion; I cannot even describe your situation. The Creator created the soul of Adam HaRishon and broke it and from this comes the whole process.

S. That’s the beginning of the process, wasn’t there anything before it?

R. That is a real problem, what happened before?

S. The structure of the worlds we learn about.

R. What worlds, what worlds can there be before the breaking? All the worlds are erected out of the correction.

S. I guess I don’t understand it.

R. We need to settle down and think, and you’ll see.

31. S. (01:15:28) We see that when two objects in spirituality are similar to one another they become one. So what comes out of it? How can it be that if there is some sensations or love, if it’s the same object, still something needs to separate between them and discern between them?

R. The coarseness does not disappear, it only becomes corrected in such a way that ‘love covers all crimes’, that this contrast remains and on top of it there is a cover of love, of connection, unity,  do not forget. The Creator created the vessel of Adam HaRishon and broke it Himself, and what we do in our power, in our prayer, is bringing back this vessel to its original form. But when it comes back to it, it comes back with all of the conditions of the shattering, and that creates coarseness, Aviut, and the greater the coarseness and we correct it, by that we achieve connection on top of the coarseness and thus we discover all of creation in the clear, clearer, broader fashion. So that we have both minuses and pluses in all the states, this is what we get as a result of the correction.

32. S. (01:17:34) In the last excerpt we read it is written that “thousands of souls and hundreds that come out of there”. In this system of souls, how can I see that ten? Does the ten include all these souls?

R. Everything is included in the ten and all the rest we will attain.

33. S. (01:18:07) What we see in the friends are emotions that awaken in me, with the help of their questions and responses that awaken a feeling that we are connected?

R. Possibly, yes possibly no, why is he asking me? He has to feel it and say it, not me.

S. I am asking because it is something I never thought about, never felt and supposedly comes through the friends?

R. Excellent, finally you’re connected to them and feeling something through them, that’s good.

34. S. (01:19:14) What does it mean “and then the soul is extended to its place in all the degrees of man”. What does this mean?

R. That the upper light is drawn to the will to receive that is now equipped with a screen and now it can clothe into that desire.

S. So the soul is separate and the body’s separate?

R. The soul outside the body is the upper, abstract light and when it’s clothed in the body, it happens by ‘the coupling of striking’, the light dresses into the Kli based on the equivalence of form between them.

S. So a person’s work is to extend the light from above?

R. Yes.

35. S. (01:20:06) We learned that there is always at least one contact between the root and branch, so what is the contact that relates to the Big Bang if it’s not the shattering? That’s what I thought at least, first. So what does that Big Bang ascribe in the spiritual process?

R. You’re asking about the Big Bang that is physically happening in our world?

S. Yes when the matter came to be.

R.  I don’t know, I don’t know, material that was born.

S. The illusion of this world.

R. So that, we have to pick into our thoughts and feelings and see what happens. There is no matter, there is no material, it is all just how we perceive it.

S. There are all kinds of questions about what to do, maybe connect between tens and so on, so are there criterions, clear ones, that we have advanced enough in order to take the next step, or should we always try?

R. We have to look at other tens in order to be envious of them, and by that each one will strengthen his ten, this is what should happen for now.

37. S. (01:24:15) How can we bring our connection closer to the root?

R. By turning to the Creator and asking Him to connect us in such a way that we will be correct network, a correct vessel for the revelation of the Creator that He can appear in us and be content with us. I want to be in a simple inclination: what can I do so that the Creator enjoys me all the time. Try to talk about in simple words, right? What do I do so that the Creator is pleased by me, that’s it?

S. Discuss it in the ten?

R. Yes, in the ten, with himself, however.

S. How can this question, what is it connected that the Creator wants of me, how is it connected with me raising the connection between us?

R. You want to present Him with the Kli so He can connect it and correct it, fulfill it, and enjoy it. For us it is a work of asking or wanting to correct, to connect. For the Creator there is no problem, for the Creator it is pleasure, it’s pleasure because He relates with love. Therefore there is no problem for Him to do something for us; on the contrary, when we ask of Him we’re giving Him an opportunity to enjoy. Try to think about, say, a mother towards a baby. She has everything, she doesn’t lack a thing and he asks of her, she feels that he wants something now, so  as much as she prepares it for him and does it for him, how much she enjoys preparing it for him and everything, that is clear right? So all the work for the baby is pleasure for the mother.

S. The son always doesn’t ask for the mother to give her contentment?

R. He demands, he demands, and she feels how he demands and what he wants, and we too have to always try to turn to the Creator and ask all the time. Meaning we always have to make the place for the Creator to correct something, to arrange something, to keep Him busy all the time. He enjoys His work of doing something with us as long as we ask.

S. But here it’s written that “you have to leave for yourself only what is needed in order to connect to the Shechina”?

R. We have to ask for the connection between us and then the Creator enjoys connecting us and also fulfilling and becoming revealed in us, Becoming revealed in us and that is His whole pleasure, the revelation of the Creator in the created being is actually the greatest pleasure we can bring to Him.

38. S. (01:28:33) When we raise the exercises of connection between us in the ten it causes a lot of happiness in the friends, but one day in one of the friend’s coarseness was revealed that brought a descent to him. How can we include the friends in the exercise in the way that they can still overcome what is being revealed to them?

R. I did not understand, repeat.

S. When we do exercises in connection between us certain friends experience a descent. How can we help those friends who get weaker for them to be able to overcome and reconnect?

R. Give them an example of awakening and embrace them in different ways. What can you do? You have to see how this is possible, you know them better than me.

39. S. (01:30:19) In excerpt seven you mentioned souls or people and created beings. What is the difference between all of them?

R. I can’t say right now, we’re always discussing, according to the issue. People are created beings or souls; we use all these definitions depending on what we want to emphasize specifically.

S. What is the difference for the reason of the shattering in the first Adam and the world of Nekudim?

R. It all happens from above in preparation by the upper force in order to reveal that there are in fact two opposite parts in creation, the will to receive and the will to bestow, light and Kli. If we did not have the shattering we’d have no ability to reveal the true reality, the status between us and the Creator. Because it becomes revealed we are then able to start our work in approaching the Creator, becoming closer to the Creator.

40. S. (01:31:47) Will there be anything else for man to correct after he corrects his ego?

R. There is no more to correct besides our ego and connection to a single Kli. All the rest already appears in that single vessel that we achieve. After the final correction there are no more corrections. There other ascensions and other progress called the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Millennia and so on but that is already unrelated to our corrections. 

41. S. (01:32:49) What does it mean that each one is a different part in the way he bestows?

R. Each one is a very different piece of the others because he comes from a different desire of Adam HaRishon and therefore there is nothing between us that is actually identical.

42. S. (01:33:18) How can we unite the ones in the ten who remained in Egypt and those who came out of it?

R. Those that remain in Egypt remain in the will to receive in order to receive and those who exit they go out to correction. From them come the people of Israel meaning those who are aiming  for the attainment of the Creator. Those who are not aiming for attainment of the Creator remain in Egypt. That’s how it’s called Egypt, meaning only will to receive. We see many people around us. Some of them long to attain the Creator, others don’t care about it, it doesn’t matter to them. So that’s how it’s divided. It’s not that there’s this group and that group, ultimately they come closer this way. According to their longing they become two different groups.

43. S. (01:34:37) Why is the shattering of Adam called sin?

R. Because it does not attract him to the correction of creation.

44. S.(01:34:51) Is there an example that we can take from this world, how shattered pieces connect and get more forces than the original whole?

R. We learn this from many things in this world both among the righteous and wicked. Connection always brings more strength, more power.

45. S. (01:35:17) How to awaken the records from that whole complete state we were in? Why are those records so concealed?

R. They are not hidden, they appear according to our ability to work with them.

46. S. (01:35:37) What does it mean that in the beginning the body separates the illumination of the soul?

R. Because our will to receive hides from us all of the upper light and the upper mechanism. And only by making efforts then the upper force, the upper world becomes revealed to us.

47. S. (01:36:05) What will happen to the material world when the final correction comes?

R. The material world in the final correction? Nothing is going to happen, we will just discover that there is no matter, there is only a desire that is then corrected with the right intention. Our world simply disappears, it will all become connected to our intentions. Therefore it will have no place of being, the way it is now in matter. 

48. S. (01:36:49) In excerpt two it’s written that it seems that it is separated by the force of each one’s body. Meaning first the body separates and prevents the illumination of the soul. Why does the Creator give a person such forces that he can separate himself and prevent the life from each other?

R. In order for us to reach the degree of the Creator and be comprised of both good and bad and to resemble the Creator in that. This is what we’re called Adam from the word Domeh, similar to the Creator. So we have no choice but to go through all these states between the good and the bad states in yearning for good, for connection. This is how we will discover all of the creation.

49. S. (01:37:44) Lately I have been hearing you say that we are close to the connection. What do you feel in us that makes you say that?

R. I feel that there are many people who are longing for connection because they already realize that only in connection we can exit the feeling of this narrow, dark world into a broad, illuminated, spiritual world.

50. S. (01:38:21) Is it possible to see the shattering as an act of self-annulment on behalf of the Creator in order to give us the opportunity to resemble Him?

R. No it doesn’t happen according to our desire to nullify ourselves. The shattering all happens from above.

51. S. (01:38:46) In item six it’s written that each soul extends to its place in the soul of Adam HaRishon. Each one has a root of his soul. How can we help everyone compensate for the suffering that certain parts of the soul go through?

R. Only by example and connection.

52. S. (01:39:14) How is all the universe in one ten?

R. Because this is how it’s all built. There is no more than ten: ten Sefirot, ten parts. Everything from Keter to Malchut in these ten parts is described in us according to our ability to attain it. Therefore the more we evolve the more we will know what is happening in those ten parts. That all of creation is actually comprised of _____.

53. S. (01:39:58) What is the sign that the Creator gets contentment from our connection and when do we not get such a sign?

R. What is the sign?

S. What is the sign that the Creator gets contentment from our connection?

R. That we feel it, that we come close to Him. To the extent that we’re close to Him or far from Him we feel these things.

54. S. (01:40:38) Is correcting our desire from receiving to bestow connect us to the system of  Adam HaRishon?

R. Yes, that’s correct.

55. S. (01:40:57) Does it happen when we work in the ten and yearn and pray?

R. Only in the ten in longing and praying.
