Gentile

What is a gentile in spirituality?

In words we have a lot of the wisdom of the world, as well as: “believe in the wisdom of the gentile.” The difference between a gentile and Israel is that a gentile understands the work of the Creator, really understands all the work of the Creator, and we are not just talking about the “Einsteins” out there. With us, a “gentile” is one who understands all the spiritual work with his mind but doesn’t actually carry out the correction. “Israel” is called Yashar (direct) – El (God), who understands the work of God and also corrects his desires. These are the two parts that can be completely opposite each other. Then, “believe in the wisdom of the gentile” can be that person who tells you and talks to you about Kabbalah, really an angel. He knows so much, understands so much, and with his mind he ploughs you, like “the Kabbalists of Jerusalem” who Baal HaSulam talks about. He knows everything and tells you without any problem, but only in theory and without actualization.
