Reading The Peace (00:27) Heading: “First Method: Nature”

1. R. (01:58) That is understood, yes? These are profound matters but superficially it is understood. Today even though this is the most ancient method from many thousands of years it is how people treated nature even before other methods including religion and so on. So, today too we still have the same approach and this is the primary approach

Reading The Peace (02:40) Heading: “Second Method: Two Authorities”

R. (04:23) This is something we see already in many religions and belief systems, in all kinds of forms that it is impossible that one force, we can attribute all of the good things and the bad things to one force. It is like with a person, a person’s either good or bad on the whole, same with animals and other things and unifying all forms of nature to a single force is difficult and it is not so clear how that is possible. So, two authorities is what humanity has shaped as an attitude toward nature which is these two attitudes good and bad.

2. S. (05:47) In the steam press of the advancement of humanity we see that everything has changed throughout the different religions. Everything changes except for the wisdom of Kabbalah staying the same as it has been written thousand years ago. What exactly is the reason that the wisdom of Kabbalah didn’t go through this press of advancement?

R. The wisdom of Kabbalah is the revelation of the Creator to the people. This revelation happens in vessels of bestowal which are opposite to ours and that only to the extent of compatibility between these vessels and the Creator then the Creator reveals Himself and he gets to know his wisdom from discovering the Creator by studying the Creator, researching the Creator and thus writing from one generation to the next based on the root of his soul and the times that are in play but all in all this wisdom is above our ego and it is beyond the matter of this world and therefore it cannot change in its foundation only more can be added because in each generation new thoughts and new intentions appear and they become worse because the correction happens from light to heavy. The vessels from the shattering gradually become revealed as thicker and thicker vessels and the greater the vessels then the more we can reveal a higher reality and that is why there is higher development in the revelation of the wisdom of Kabbalah and that it comes from the revelation of the shattering and the correction of the shattering and that happens in each and every generation.

3. S. (08:14) Regardless of what generation that I am living in I cannot accept an image of the Creator as like a robot, like a machine which is heartless, mindless, and I cannot accept the Creator like that. I would like a Creator who cuddles me, hugs me, cries when I cry, loves when I love, understands me. How can we relate to His discernments?

R. You speak very nicely and your attitude is good we are referred to as human beings because our goal is to become similar to the Creator, so all of the discernments that we have in our feelings and in our actions it is all given to us that we ultimately reveal the Creator, nothing is given to us outside of that, other than that goal, anything that exists in each and every one is for us to reveal the Creator and therefore do not think you discover him in any other qualities besides emotions, only emotionally, but these emotions have to be non-subjective meaning they have to be above what you want, they have to be objective and independent of you think and what you feel, but above that if you wish to reveal something in its true form then you have to detach and transcend your own nature, make yourself a 0 in the sense that you don’t mix in your sensations and your feelings with the research, and you approach the research in a way that is independent of anything so that you truly discover the Creator and how He is, regardless of you. How to do that? For that we go through a very unique process where we have to detach from our will to receive, from our ego and by connection with those we despise meaning with the friends in the ten, nullifying ourselves there we become independent researchers meaning totally objective, and that I can be not in the will to receive and not in the will to bestow, to begin to feel reality in the way that it is, and I discover that to discover this I have to rise above my egoistic nature that specifically the ego that was created within me and to begin with that, by rising above it, and by disconnecting from it, I come through that to obtain the opposite thing to the ego, spiritual attainment, that I can attain Him from my opposite qualities and here I can understand what the Creator did. As a result of this opposition from him we have an opportunity to research him in a an independent way, a way that is independent of my nature and His nature, this is truly being between heaven and earth so to speak, and specifically when I go to research the upper force like that I am ready to research him not from within my nature which I transcend and not from within the Creator’s nature with that too I work through restriction and resistance and Masach and Ohr Hozer and so as a researcher by that I become outside of both his nature and mine like a true researcher. We still do not understand what we have here. What possibilities are available that the Creator created for us, which by that the created being truly comes to a state where he transcends all of nature and becomes free. So, when we study the Creator in reverse, we see that He didn’t have any other choice, even though He seemingly can do everything. He didn’t have any other option if the goal is to take us and raise us to level of where we feel his love and where what we ultimately obtain is the Creator’s love towards us, so he had no other choice from that end point but to create us in this opposite way and go through the shattering and through all the corrections so that through these many degrees and states we evolve until we discover the shattering and the oppositeness and from that we come to correction and identification, that there was no other choice. We will learn that. We do not yet have the emotional and intellectual data for that but it will come.

S. So, all the scrutiny I do within my ego is subjected so I may have to make myself a 0 in the ten and I will transcend myself so that I will look objectively from the middle line, right?

R. Yes, yes for now that is correct, and it is not going to change but there will be more additions to it.

Reading The Peace (16:37) Heading: “Third Method: Multiple Gods”

5. R (17:21 ) It is like we see from history, especially those who studied the history of religions. It started from, first there is one upper force then two good and evil. Then from good and evil it branched into many different phenomena and actions that people feel so that creates the idea of many different gods responsible for the many different aspects of nature and accordingly various rituals were performed and so on.

6. S (18:09) As we know according to the law, the entire creation is all in the opposite plus and minus, Creator and the speaking level? How do we become whole?

R. We do not become one whole we become similar to the Creator Adam is from the word Domeh, similar to the Creator not be coming just part of one thing the Creator

S. How can I oppose our wholeness in the future?

R. I do not understand that question. Our ego remains. We only build a unique cover coating over it in resistance to our ego in order to resemble the Creator. That is what we are facing.

7. S. (19:25) I do not understand what he’s talking about in these excerpts when he reminds us of two methods, good and bad and in relation. He said that the first is ‘one cannot give what one doesn’t; and the second is ‘even though he controls the whole reality in a wonderful way. What does it mean here? Why does he say there are two methods?

R. I hope you will think about it tomorrow and ask about it tomorrow.

S. It is a bit difficult.

R. I do not know. I don’t have the possibility now to go into the depth of your question.

S. Let me ask you this way, what does he mean when he says that there are two approaches?

R. Where are you in the third method? This method was born out of the bosom of the method of two authorities. This is because they had divided and separated each of the general actions for itself, meaning that the good and bad. Meaning according to the strength, wealth, domination, beauty, famine, death, disorder and so on. They divided everything in the good things and bad things and they appointed each their own supervisor. Meaning a God for everything. They expanded the matter as they wished. S. No, because even before he says there are two methods, one method, one can give what one doesn’t have and then he suddenly says that he supervises reality and wonderful ways so why were they divided into two?

R. Because we see these phenomena towards us that there are good and bad things towards everyone.

S. Meaning of the way a person relates to reality?

R. Yes, of course it all stems from man’s attitude towards reality. All religions and belief systems were all born out of man’s attitude towards reality.

S. Oh, Now I understand.

8. R. Maybe we will have a workshop. What does this peace article give us? What do we get from it for now?

9. R. (26:20) We are talking about methods that play out throughout the world and everyone goes through them. It doesn’t matter whether you are secular, religious, philosopher or a common person. In people because they are different from the animate level, they have some attitude to their life that is beyond their life. Meaning something that says there is life. Something happens above me and determines what happens to me and so they are different methods of relating to that life force that I received.

10. S. (27:23) We try to rise above ourselves and perceive and discover the Creator’s thought without our participation. How do we feel about the creators of love and accept this love in the personal way because it will still be in my desire if I understand correctly.

R. Everything is fine. How can I receive the attitude of the Creator towards me objectively. What is that attitude about? It is not how it appears to me either good or bad. Let’s say I get a gift from someone and that gift I don’t think it’s good or bad. I already ruled it out then, let’s say it is some refreshment or some food. If it is not my kind of taste then I can’t and so all these things that we receive in our will to receive of course it is not the correct impression. The correct realization, so we have to rise above ourselves and now to rise above myself. I also have to be integrated with the one that gives to me. Let’s say I moved away from my own habits but what is next? How can I understand what he is giving to me through the still, vegetative, animate the whole world whole world, the Creator, it doesn’t matter. I have to have the qualities of the one who gives to me and then I can see what he is doing. There are two actions we need here. One is to rise above our will to receive and the second action to connect with the will to bestow The Creator the host. So to the extent that I become including him then I can understand what he is doing. That he is doing it for my own good ,that he wants to do this or that. He wants to awaken a response in me and so on. There is a preparation here for the person to be similar to the Creator.

Why didn’t the Creator make us similar to him to begin with? Because we would be just a part of him. In order to feel and we have to be opposite to him. So that exactly the way he wants to show himself to us, we need to be opposite to that form. That happens through the shattering. Then we were given work off correcting ourselves in resembling him. Resembling, meaning to the extent that I make myself Adam, Domeh similar to the Creator. These methods that we are looking at here, the 1st,2nd, 3rd and 5th , there is also a fourth method here that he did not write. We will understand that later. There’s the fifth method the day he left his operation. There’s all these things they are on the way. Humanity development goes through that, without that humanity does not come to the wisdom of Kabbalah. Only when humanity fully develops, ripens through all the methods then humanity comes to a point where it faces the question that I have to attain the Creator. Attaining the Creator comes from the opposite form, through resembling him and that is when humanity says, I become similar to the Creator and then we develop gradually that we become similar to the Creator and that is the whole wisdom of Kabbalah. Except it doesn’t happen through our desires and intentions in this world. It is only when we completely disconnect from our nature and transition to the other nature. But it does not leave us the original nature that we have. It grows along with the will to bestow. The will to receive grows and the will to bestow grows. That is how we advance on both legs, on two legs. This is basically what he wants to say. Meaning all the belief systems and religion and methods they are a prelude to the attainment of the Creator. Necessary phases of evolution that humanity has to go through and is going through. Only then it comes to the wisdom of Kabbalah. All of these methods happen in order to develop human beings throughout thousands of years and many different states and operations. That is how we evolve. Why does it happen in such a long time and through so many different combinations of forces and so on. What can you do? We will understand that later too but it all comes from the ultimate purpose. The final goal where we attained the complete degree of the Creator.
